No guide for the TV.

We've been staying here for the past month and they have been amazing to us.

Pet friendly and no pet fee.

Broken air conditioner, mold that appears by window air conditioner, mold around shower head, dirty windows, trash around windows outside,
Breakfast was ok at best,
NO ELEVATORS.

1/2 star Dirty room, unclean and filthy. Bed not made, appeared slept in, towels on the floor. No other rooms available. Couldn’t spare time throughout the day to clean it? Shame! Horrible service!

Our stay was short, but sweet. We arrived at 5am after a long day of driving and just needed somewhere to sleep. La Quinta fit the bill quite well. The desk attendant was helpful and friendly and allowed us to check out late due to how late we arrived.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel it's self could use a deep clean and some maintenance/repairs. Just a little grimmy in places. And some repairs need to be redone. Not a bad place. But has the potential to be much better.

I had a great experience here… Linda realized we did not need a room with 2 beds and knew someone else did. She asked if we would like the king with a spa tub at no extra charge and I said absolutely! She was great and was able to accommodate someone else with our original room. She was courteous and very nice. The hotel was immaculate as was our room. The bed was very comfortable as well. There was some noise but it didn't keep me awake at all. Thank you La Qinta for having an employee like Linda!
I am not sure why Arya in the previous review thought there was no elevator because there sure is… unless it wasn't working when she was there…

Staff was great but ice machine not producing on our floor and air conditioning not working and obviously broken with pieces visibly missing. Great breakfast. The staff gets 5 stars the facilities only 1.

An older La Quinta but very nice. The people working there are the best. Very friendly and willing to help. Thanks to all working there for a very good experience. Best part of the visit were the people. I will be staying there again.

Clean rooms, a lush, grassy area for dogs, and convenient to the Interstate for travelers. I stayed there a week later and it was a different experience! Unfriendly staff, put me downstairs where it smelled like cigarettes. Furniture in room was pretty worn and I'm not sure how clean the bed was.

Good place to stay; they are renovating. If you don't or haven't been there before it can be hard to get to. Also the Shamrock gas station across the road has a really good dinner in back of the convenience store.

But the best La Quinta, outside by the entrance trash piled up, spilled over on walkway, notified staff — nothing done. But there were only 2 staff and the hotel was full! What is up with that? Room was dusty and supplies short. Last time I stayed here was 4 years ago and it has really gone down.

The hotel is right off highway 84. It was easy to find. There is plenty of parking space, which is great when you got a U-Haul. The hotel employees were warm and welcoming. They had fresh baked cookies at check-in. The only negative was that the pool closed at 10 pm.

Hotel was fantastic. Staff awesome. Indoor pool, big breakfast, and newly remodeled.

Decent prices but I have never stayed here but some people I know have and they liked it.

The only con was location. I was there for work and had a a normal afternoon to spend there. Not much around. Other than that it's an excellent hotel. The free breakfast was a savior. Comfy beds and good service.

Not up to laquinta quality, fairly dated and run down. Overpriced for value received. They do allow pets, has an indoor pool and truck parking.

Is it being renovated or just old? You get to decide. Tried to get a room not in the basement but oh well… perhaps the update will make it nicer? The bathroom reminds me of the many hostels I’ve stayed in around the world except many of those have been much nicer. I expected more based on the photos (and price). The staff is kind and they helped move my bag to my room. My 1 star is on quality and amenities. The staff here are as nice and polite as can be.

All around pretty good hotel no elevator so it was a problem being on 3rd floor for my disabled mother but we made it work.

We had a reservation for a room with a hot tub. When we showed up they had put burnout victims in our room (ok, people needed help — we are good with that) and the other room was out of service. We had been out of cell range hiking most of the day, but nobody attempted to call us until sometime after 10 or 11 that morning. The clerk was very apologetic and tried to find a room at another LQ but none were available. We were told that the GM would call us Monday to make it right, since the Valentine's celebration we'd been planning for weeks was squashed. Never received a call. Though I've been a fan of LQ in the past, we are done with them if this is their idea of customer service.

We had a good experience here. The room was clean, and the free internet was along the best I've encountered (unlocked network, with a click-through agreement). During our stay there were some minor renovations happening in the hallways, baseboards being replaced, etc, but the mess was kept to a minimum. The complementary breakfast wasn't great, but not awful either — more protein options would have been nice.

It was a nice, quite place. A friend of mine was there for the night rooms are good. Needs a little updating for sure but all around nice.

It seemed that they were remodeling the hotel and in the breakfast the food was not good.

I'm very disappointed that I paid just a few dollars shy of 100 dollars, to be seeing sheet rock particles everywhere in this room. On the floor, on the back of the toilet, on the wall. The curtains are broke. The hallways feel grungy, especially where all the baseboards are missing. The smell in my room was ok. But the odor getting up here was unbearable. If I was not so tired, I'd be down at the desk, getting a refund. So, you win… you win my money… So sad!

Horrible water pressure, shower rod barely hanging on, no vending machine or drinks. And who the hell wants to wake up to barking dogs when you left yours at home? Nope. No thanks.

They were super friendly. Other then the renovation going on the bed is very comfortable. It's a work in progress but nice for the price.

Location, location, location. Conveniently located off the highway. Nice and quiet hotel. Friendly staff. They're remodeling the lobby, but fortunately renovations didn't affect our stay. There's Dutch Bros next door too!

The room was clean. The pillows were too fluffy and they were all the same. The people in the room next to me kept knocking on the door to get into their room, at 11pm. Staff was very nice. No elevater and no rooms available on the bottom floor.

Staff is very nice. Beds were comfortable. Despite construction the room was not to the level iexpected. Odd pieces of mismatched furniture. Purple walls and green drapes (my son dubbed it "the Barney room")! The extension cord mess looked pretty sketchy. Bobby pin in dresser drawer= probably not cleaned!

Not a bad place. On the higher end of the price scale, which doesn't make sense given its location. When I was there they were having some serious renovation done so the lobby was a mess. There are no smoking rooms here. The rooms were big with individual ac units. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Nice overall.

Room looked great. However, by the time we were settled we found the traffic noise from the nearby freeway was awful. There were many pillows on the bed, but all but one were hard as rocks. There was coffee and a refrigerator in the room. On our second day we figured out that the window in our room was stuck open, which we fixed. That solved the noise issue! The hotel is being remodeled, so all I can hope is we were in a room that will receive additional attention. The staff was very nice.

My experience here was below par, from the last reviews I can tell they've been doing renovations for about 3 months. Currently the front desk area is being worked on, and on the floor there's nails sticking out that hurt you when you're walking across them to get to the pool area. The rooms were alright, small and it feels like they're trying to hard, way to cluttered with furniture. The breakfast was alright not worth the 84 dollar price tag, would rather pay less. The bathroom was nice but the showers wouldn't drain by the end of my shower the tub was full. I'm on my honeymoon currently and I feel like I paid 80 dollars for a 50 dollar hotel. Staff was nice, and they could fix most of the current problems.

It's a really decent place to stay. The pricing could be better for the room. But it's convenient to the freeway and the staff is friendly. Also the rooms are clean big positive.

One of the nicer La Quinta's I've stayed at, and I've been to quite a few. It's an older building, but they are currently in the middle of major remodeling, and the newly painted rooms with new flooring are wonderful. Great breakfast as well as friendly staff!

The place is under renovation to much noise and dusty. The fat bald guy in the front desk had no customer service very rude this is why I'm giving it 2 Stars. They do serve breakfast that part gets at 4 stars and the lady in there is very nice. They have a swimming pool very small indoors Overkill with the chlorine. Pet friendly!

It was alright, the pool and spa area is great for families, they have a small 1foot pool for little ones. They're currently doing a lot of renovations so it doesn't look that great, it's definitely due for upgrades all over the. The breakfast options are nice and it's pet friendly. We had a relatively quiet and comfortable stay considering we only stayed one night.

Good: Clean room, pretty nice too. Decent breakfast with waffles, sausage, egg, fruit, cereal, bagels. All rooms are pet friendly too. Friendly staff Bad: No elevators, stairwells and hallways don't look so nice, key card system is cheap so you have to try a few times to open doors. Overall a good place to stay if you don't mind a few little things.

Visited a relative staying at the hotel to take the family to the pool. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hot tub temperature could have been as little warmer but otherwise was great.

No elevator, and it seems the place is held together by duct tape. It is clean, we felt safe and the staff was effusively apologetic for the appearance, lack of amenities and polite. No mention of the lack of an elevator when booking, and we booked directly with the front desk over the phone, not with the national number. We had to pay extra and switch from a king to a double queen to get on the main floor. Maybe not a big deal for most but after 14 hours on the road, carrying two cats, their litter box, and our gear; it was quite the sucker punch.

Great Hotel. Rooms are decent. Breakfast is awesome! Indoor pool and hot tub. Can be pricey but overall great place.

Filthy, run down, patched holes in walls. No way in hell is it a 2 1/2 star hotel. Bed was very comfortable and staff nice.

There's a fresh new look in rooms. Our room had new tile, paint, and carpet. They're in the middle of a remodel and we were told the lobby is next. Very friendly staff and lots of breakfast choices.

Stayed here while visiting family. The room that we stayed in was recently remodeled (nicely done). Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff. I plan on coming back in a couple of months.

I gave it a 2 because the staff were great. However the ceiling was cracked, there's no elevator, and it smelled a little. But for an overnight stop I have seen worse. It looked like they were trying to do some upgrades though.

They where awsome to me and my family, clean and accommodating, excellent customer service very happy would stay here again!

The staff is great and so is pool. The places is a little old so don't stay on 1st level it feels like your sleeping in you uncles old basement. There is a smoking area right out side of main entrance so hold your breath or stop and burn one. Not the cleanest I've stayed in but it will work in a pinch. I reviewed halfway through my stay and had to go back. Put up do not disturb sign on door immediately or they will wake you up in the morning to clean the room. Breakfast lady is grouchy they called my room and ask me if I had a plunger overall stay was very poor.

Seemed like it would be a lovely place if it was well kept. There was a hairball in the futon, and a bunch of dog hair on the chair. Food in the stove, food on the ground. Just not very well kept. Spacey, and fit 5 people and an infant nicely though!

The gent at reception was unreal nice! Thought that was over and done with in todays world. Kudos to Daniel (i believe) totally would stay again if ever in the area.

Love La Quinta! The hot tub broke down a few days into our stay, but the staff worked diligently and had it up and better than ever the very next day. They went out of their way to make our stay awesome, great staff and fantastic customer service. And the breakfast is kid friendly and better than any other hotel I have stayed at!

Very good customer service but needs work in the physical plant of the hotel which the are reshaping.

This location is garbage. They put me in a dirty room to start off my stay then I asked for no service because of personal belongings I didn't want stolen and they serviced my room after the first day then to continue the hassle this place was! They had me checking out a day earlier that I had specified 3 times before arriving to the hotel and called me at my place of business to see why I hadn't checked out yet. Well to end it all I forgot a personal item and called the evening I left and had noticed I forgot it and they told me no problem they had it and I asked them to charge my card and ship it to me and they said they would and again would call me Monday to confirm my address and my credit card to charge it to, well Monday came and gone and I received no phone call… They delivered my item to UPS and I'm supposed to call and pay UPS sure glad I called to follow up.

The staff is always friendly. My wife and I have stayed there 4 different times. It is easy to find right next to exit 29 down from the college my daughter goes to school at. The rooms are alway clean and very comfortable :)

For a 100 + a night hotel it is a dump. Checked in and immediately checked out. Not updated. Halls and common areas were dirty. A/C unit has never been cleaned full of dirt and dust. Smelled stale and dirty.

First off I can only assume that the negative reviews here are obviously the competition because my experience has been 100% perfection. My husband works all over the country and we stay in hotels and motels several months out of the year and this has been my favorite The breakfast is wonderful with many options including waffles, omelettes, sausage, boiled eggs, SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BISCUITS! And more. There are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms which are roomy with the most comfortable beds I have slept in for the price~which is also more than affordable. It cost less at La Quinta than Motel 6… who offers… NOTHING… my daughter has greatly enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi and workout room as well as the computer in the lobby. Our dog greatly enjoyed the large grass areas equipped with doggie poop bags :) And he stayed FREE! The staff is pleasant and helpful. i cannot find anything at all to say negative about this hotel. :)

24/7 pool and hot tub! Very clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean, the large TV was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the free breakfast was great with a lot of choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only thing missing was an elevator, but that wasn't too bad since there is only an upper level and a basement. I also give this only 4 stars because we had a family member stay in a "nonsmoking" room across from us that smelled like smoke, but our room smelled very clean. However, when I visit this area again, this is the hotel I will choose.

We spent 5 days in this hotel and they were the most uncomfortable 5 days I have ever spent in a hotel. Because we had dogs we were put in the basement with one little window with drapes that did not pull well. One chair for 2 people the desk/table sat right in front of the window air conditioning and blew directly on me as I worked on my computer. I was recovering from a recent episode of pneumonia his did not help me to heal. And, the outside temp was 100+ most days so you could not turn off air for very long. When I spoke to one of the gentlemen of this situation I got a flippant answer that the new management would be redoing the hotel in a few weeks. Now how does that help the problem at hand. Bringing in a small table or card table would have solved the problem, but that evidently was not possible. The maintenance person was very nice and came quickly both times he was called. And the housekeeping staff were very nice and did a good job. The beds are wonderful. I will not book with this hotel again.

Its older and smells like 30 yr old Cigarette smoke. Holes in the walls, old fixtures. Bed and carpet is clean. However, I'd rather pay a little extra and have things smell and look better.

We kept staying here every time we passed just for the pool and breakfast. However the rooms are not kept up; repairs are not being done, furniture is falling apart, even got one not cleaned once. Luckily they were sold out the last time and so we went to the Best Western Plus. Much better rooms, beautiful pool and great breakfast.

As of December 5, 2013 Stayed for one night. My wife and I experience was great! General manager and front desk clerk was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend. 5 star :-).

We stay in La Quinta hotels often for their very friendly dog policy. This location was one of our least liked. The hotel allowed smoking in its past, and our room still reeked of old smoke covered by cleaning products. Overall this hotel is dingy and not very clean, and really needs a facelift. The room had fresh sheets and towels, but otherwise felt not clean enough. Carpet in the hallways and stairs looked like it never gets vacuumed or cleaned. We didn't bother going down for breakfast, so I'm not sure if that area was clean. Will definitely not be staying here again. It's worth the extra $20 or so to stay at the Meridian location.

The hotel was currently being updated during the duration of my stay however the staff was over pleasant and helpful. My room was immaculate and cleaned everyday. I would definitely stay there again at my next visit.

We had a great stay at the Caldwell La Quinta. At check-in we were given complimentary bottled water, microwave popcorn and delicious freshly baked cookies. Our room was cozy compared to other La Quintas we have stayed at but there were many unexpected extras like 5 pillows on our King sized bed, a shower massager in the bathtub and lots of extra towels (I even appreciated the little lemon scented soaps. Lol) there was even a compact little shower chair available under the sink, plus the usual hair dryer/iron/microwave/mini frig. The Bed was very nice, the best I have had in a motel room, like sleeping on a cloud. The swimming pool is open 24 hours a day so we enjoyed a midnight swim, their pool was nicely heated and we appreciated the rack of fresh towels and hampers poolside. The Hot Tub could have been a few degrees hotter but that is our only complaint (if we have to have a complaint). The Complimentary Breakfast should not be missed, it bordered on amazing and the attendant was cheerful and right on top of replenishing the food. The Breakfast offerings included Make your own Waffles, Heated Syrup, Sausage and Gravy Biscuits, Sliced Ham, Hot Grits (I think), Hot Oatmeal, Hot Spiced Apples-Walnuts-Cranberries, Breakfast Cereals, Fresh Milk, Tea, Hot Cocoa, Coffee, Apple Juice, Orange Juice, English Muffins, Cinnamon Rolls, a variety of Breads, Fresh Fruit, Hard Boiled Eggs, Cottage Cheese and Fresh Yogurt.
