Best, coolest cheap hotel I've been to. We got there at midnight on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, tons of people coming and going, seemed like an actually fun place for guests to be hanging out? We paid 140 for two queens and a king, which was in its own room. This must've been the manager's old room, it had Central AC, a big private deck overlooking the motel/surrounding city area, and a very large bathroom. Very outdated though. Never stayed in a room set up like that, loved it! Way cool, I would love to book that room again!

Cheap place. Someone tried to enter my room and I thought I locked the door. I had to slam the door and keep one eye open all night. They have drug dealers on the Westside street and it made for a sleepless night. Definitely not kid friendly. The rooms are so far dated I think JESUS stayed here. They had beggars freely walking around the parking lot asking everyone for spare change. The front desk just stood and watched without saying anything. I will not be back to this place. I do not reccomend it until they can clean up the area and the rooms.

(pictures are added at the end of review) We showed up and our room was taken, so they gave us another room. We had to call 3 times to get towels to shower. When we did get in the shower, the shower head was broke and had to use our hands to hold it up. Around the bathtub floor on the outside corner was dirt build up. We was on the second floor with our kids and the sliding glass door in room was broken and would not lock. So, we had to make sure our 3 year old didn't wake up to go out there. What was the most annoying was how nasty the room smelt of smoke. They said it was smoke free but oh it smelled bad. Over all NOT worth the crazy amout we paid for one night. Oh, there was drunk guys walking around with bottles in their hands. Not safe for kids at all. If it would let me show pics, I would have posted them.

Everything was great! There weren't any shady characters around, and there were actually not that many other guests. We got a 2 bedroom spot for 2 adults for $67. The room was clean and spacious with a TV with great cable, a microwave & a fridge. Hosts were really friendly and everything felt top notch. Great cheap motel.

Stayed more than 1 night and the cleaning crew didn't change our sheets. Disappointed. They did however accommodate us with a top floor and extra towels.

I enjoyed the very comfortable bed. The free Wi-Fi was really, really slow and it kept kicking me off. When I needed it for business and I was getting DL Speeds of 1-2mbps, that didn’t work out so well. It was a little noisy. Fairly clean. The sheets were replaced but the blanket had cigarette holes in it. Staff was very friendly.

On the outside it may look run down and shabby, but inside the rooms is actually very big and really nice. I honestly don't know why they are only rates 2.5 stars. I would make them at least 3.5 stars. I had no problems with any staff there at all. It's super easily accessible. All in all it was a good visit.

This was a cheap motel. We had an absolute blast staying here, not much for rules, the kind of place you can stay without running into staff. Great for partying, but not much else. Rooms are quiet, very old and really rough shape (bathroom door had a hole in it). If you're reading reviews, this place is a seedy hotel, but you're probably looking for that. Also, apparently someone was murdered here a few years ago. Part of the fun. Stayed with a bunch of friends, but wouldn't stay here solo. Staff didn't really have much of an idea of what was going on, seemed confused that they worked for a motel almost. Stay if you need a really cheap room. Avoid if you care about room quality. Beds were comfy, though!

Always quiet and clean. I've never had any problems with this hotel. Everything works and it's very convenient and affordable.

Asked for non smoking, smells like an ash tray, stains on sheets, found a sex toy that has probably been there for months (it was dusty), online says check in any time, desk clerk charged me $25 early check in fee, all in all I have slept in dirt cleaner than this place. Only reason we stayed was because of March madness and everywhere else was booked.

Nice and affordable place big rooms.

You get what you pay for. OK for a night or two, quiet place downtown Boise. No gun needed around here. All tree huggers.

I did not want to give even an 1/8 of a star… DO NOT STAY HERE! Blood stained towels, broken dead locks, drug deals outside of rooms all night long. Very nasty.

Definitely a Budget stay. The occasional drunk hot girl may grace you with her presence. The smell of wet dirty asphalt ties the whole resort together.

I am fine with dated facilities, but for $70 I expect it to be clean. As a traveler I always check the bed and bathroom for cleanliness. When I searched the bed I found hair from the previous guest on the pillows, stains in the comforter and sheets, and dust under the comforter. The owner can keep my money for the night I didn't stay, they need it to hire a better cleaning staff.

Just a little pricey. But really clean and good service.

This place was about what we paid for and definitely got the job done, but was nothing fancy. We couldn’t even get our door open and the guy had to come and do some wizardry swipe and jiggle and kick move to get us in. We didn’t leave until we had to checkout just in case. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again though for a cheap price.

What can I say. I used to work as a maid there and help E-La the main manger. I liked it and the price is exactly what the motel for a one bedroom in a room. The carpets been redone and the bed spreds, curtens redone and I loved the new roof put on. I could use a different paint job to the outside area. Other then that I was pleased.

For the money, this place is absolutely decent. You won't confuse it for 5 star accommodations, but at this price, you already have an idea of what you're getting. The rooms are dated, but they're clean, and because they have cinder block walls on all sides, they're very quiet. At no point did anything on the property feel sketch or unsafe. Bring your own soap and shampoo, because what's provided is really terrible — — even by cheap hotel/motel standards.

It was clean, comfortable, everything worked. Shower head at 5'6", a little low, but not too bad. Friendly staff. Flat screen TV about 40". Close to downtown.

Let's not mince words. You stay there cause it's cheap, not cause it's nice. That said it isn't that bad. The inside is nicer than the outside gives credit for. Nice enough staff, good for what I needed.

Great location. But this place is the definition of bare minimum. If It hadn't been a last minute booking I could have gotten a way better room for a similar price some place else.

Spacious and comfortable room, cleanliness is not perfect but still ok. They advertise "remodeled rooms" which is in fact not completely true. The building is dated and so are also the facilities inside the rooms. A few things are just upgraded visually which is a good thing, of course. Overall, a nice motel for the price.

They are trying to update the place, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the awful stay. The AC doesn't work real well especially when turned off all day when hot. The heating element in tub room works quite well, but looks like the light, so we had very hot showers in July… The energy guide sticker was still on the front of the dirty fridge. The worst part was actually the communication between employees. We had another guest opening our door at midnight saying it was their room. Tried to call front desk, phone didn't work. When we got up to go chat with front desk, we were told "You can't be in that room. " That wasn't going to fly, we went back up and tried to sleep in the heat. Next morning I received glares from the people that were opening our door at midnight. Their trying to take it out on me means they weren't treated well last night either. Pay the extra price, go somewhere else.

Our night in Boise at the Cabana Inn began with a man harassing me in the parking lot while I was trying to walk our pup. On first inspection, our room looked and smelled clean. We woke in the morning to bed bugs. Two were found in the linens, full of blood. The management was rude and unhelpful upon complaint of both incidents. He insisted there were no bedbugs. We trashed our luggage, went to the nearest laundry mat and tj maxx. Not the night we hoped for in Boise.

This seems like a pretty low place. If you have a few extra dollars stay at the Safari Inn. It's clean and you won't get killed there. The $60 here does not include a crack pipe. Byoc.

Big comfy bed. Central-ish location. Really noisy air con units.

For the location, and price you can't beat it! Management are very nice and our room was clean and the sheets were crisp. TV has a good variety and they have fridges in case needed for beer lol. The only thing that needs updated is the lighting and the toilets, they don't flush very well and the lighting is out of the 60s but other than the minor things, I would recommend it to anyone spending time in Boise.

The room was all around pretty nasty. The bathroom looked like something in a horror movie the toilet seat looks like it fought in a war. The sheets that you sleep on are sewn to the bed itself. Which is pretty gross.

Decent for the price. Close to downtown but could have been nicer.

Found possible bed bug molts on the bed and multiple stains on the sheets. I would not stay here if this was my last resort! Make sure to do a thorough bed check anywhere you stay!

Always been a great place to stay, leave a bit far from boise always been a nice place to stay whenever I'm in town, nice owners.

I agree with the rest of the review. You get what you pay for. Just a little "need a place to stay" joint, not recommended if ou an afford something better.

They are charging me multiple times on a single item. They said I took a knob from a dresser, never happened! Management is terrible… Please go somewhere else, filed a police report this morning for fraud. This place is not worth your hassle.

Clean and quiet, though the door jam was broken and held together with nails that had backed out. Nice enough furniture and the price was right though. The suites are great for large groups.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was, and it was a decent price! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Management was really nice! It's in a convenient location downtown. I will definitely stay there again if I come back to Boise.

This was my first time staying in a hotel by myself. When I pulled up, I'm not going to lie, it was sketchy looking but once inside the room I was very happy with what I saw. Everything seemed recently remodeled. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Nice, big flat screen. My only issue was with the newly installed air conditioner that wasn't working properly. The owner was very sweet and came to look at it. He offered me another room and was very nice. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Awesome amenities and staff. Very nice and wonderfully managed! This place is totally worth its pricing/rates… and THEN SOME. ☆☆☆☆☆
