Great location! Loved staying at the inn! Very comfortable and rustic feel of the rooms! Very nice staff!

Room was just dirty, was not worth what I paid at all. Would never recommend this place. Staff doesn’t care about your stay! I could have stayed in a suite for the price I paid. I took my family as a surprise. Pine Mountain itself is awesome. If I ever go back I will definitely do my homework in where we stay! Just wanted to do something different and give my money to a small business! My mistake!

We loved our time here! The cabin was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The only “complaint” we had if you could even call it that, is that our cabin was so far away from the pool area. We thought everything was in walking distance, but we had to drive out of the complex and way down another road to get there. It was about five minutes away. But, with that being said, we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

My 4th time staying at this amazing hidden spot in the mountains. Lots of history in the surrounding area. Rooms are very comfortable and we had a family of 8. The staff was amazing and informative as always. They are always so helpful. We definitely will be back.

This has been my home away from home for years now. During the summer we come at least once a month. It's always a pleasure to stay here. Clean rooms, nice pool, wonderful people.

I love this place! I had my wedding here last weekend and let me just say — beautiful! So many of my guests rented cabins and they all loved the cozy atmosphere. There was one incident where one of the cabins had an extra guest… a little mouse. He didn’t bother us so we didn’t worry about it. Other than that, cabins were clean, the royal hall was gorgeous for my wedding, and the staff is helpful! Melissa played a huge part in keeping my wedding organized, on track, and enjoyable. She helped a lot with the planning and then, with her incredible experience running weddings, coordinated my wedding day smoothly. All my bridesmaids loved and was so thankful for Melissa! Plus the other staff who helped set up, move things around, etc were sublet and didn’t disturb or distract from the event! Also, the venue itself is just stunning. The pavilion overlooking the state park is breathtaking. The design of the royal hall is so awesome. Big fan! Would highly recommend, especially if you love the outdoors!

Great staff. Considerate and very helpful. Saved us on a hike on pine mountain trail. Will come stay for a couple days to enjoy the complete resort.

This was our second time visiting this resort and as always it was nice but this last visit (Valentine’s weekend) we had no hot water. Our room had a jacuzzi and it was pretty pointless to of rented that room because what’s a Jacuzzi without hot water? Very disappointing. We made the staff aware but really were no apologies or compensation offered.

This has been me & my husband's spot since our honeymoon 2004. Very peaceful which takes months of stress & tension out of me. Creekside & Mountain Love have been my favorites so far. Just sitting here daydreaming of when we'll go back to mellow out after getting off work.

Very quiet and relaxing. The views we're spectacular. Not far from Atlanta and very much worth the drive and the price. I will most definitely be returning.

I really enjoyed getting away from the everyday hustle and bustle of my life. The scenery is gorgeous and serene. If you love mountain views and nature, this is a great place to be! The cabins are pretty, clean and comfortable.

Scenery is beautiful! The Lodge rooms make you feel like you’re in a cabin. All wood on the walls and ceiling with wood beams and a ceiling fan. Rustic but upgraded. There is a view of the mountains with rocking chairs to sit and watch the sun go down. Very quiet.

We stayed in one of your cabins for 7 days and loved it! The cabin was clean, comfortable, just perfect! The staff was nice and friendly and the area is beautiful. We will definitely be back in November for another wonderful week!

We stayed in Cabin Joy this weekend. It was a wonderful getaway while we visited Wild Animal Safari. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds slept wonderful. The grounds to the resort was beautiful. Wish we would have had time to enjoy the pool. Would stay again!

It is a beautiful cabin and so cozy. Convenient to restaurants and activities but isolated enough to enjoy nature.

We rented Ellermont (19B) for a family weekend. The family time was outstanding, but the cabin was dirty, smelled of smoke upon entering it, pots and pans were very old and it appeared to me that the cupboards hadn't been cleaned in a while. The rooms had dust and cob webs. The pictures on the web site appeared to be taken many years ago. The AC wasn't hooked up correctly so the upstairs (loft and bedrooms) were very uncomfortable. My sons were under the house in the crawl space and said it was cooler in the crawl space than upstairs. The downstairs was freezing. It's unfortunate that we picked this cabin but from the description on the web site it fit our family perfectly. Clean and update and the cabin would be great.

We held our family reunion here this past weekend for 3 nights. Staff was amazing, great people and very helpful and professional. My only disappointment was the cabin we stayed in wasn’t up to my cleaning standards, I killed numerous of spiders in the bathroom, one almost got to my granddaughter while she was on the toilet. Floors dirty and the floors dirty in the clubhouse. The staff mopped the floor Friday morning but they didn’t touch the area where the sink and microwave was. Overall our family enjoyed the resort some stayed in the new updated inn rooms and others enjoyed cabins. We will stay here again. Thanks again HJO Family.

We stayed in Delano Cabin 7A and really enjoyed it. Cabin is very clean and comfortable. The carpet could use replacing but would not keep me from staying again. The staff at the office is very nice and helpful.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at the lodge. We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. The room was super clean and the staff was great. We enjoyed time by the pool, and there are tons of great places to go eat. Awesome views too! And at night the stars are beautiful, you can sit on the back porch and take it all in. We had Wi-Fi and it worked, which honestly when your on a trip like that who’s worried about your phone. I didn’t wanna come home! Will be back for sure!

I found a great deal on a cabin here for 4 nights, this place is super nice, clean and surrounded by nature. The cabin was great, all pine, three rooms, two bathrooms and a jacuzzi. You have here all that you need, just bring your food. We had a trail right behind the cabin, you can see de deers walking through. We had a fireplace in the backyard and a grill. The view at the top of the mountain was magnificent. This place was excellent.

When we arrived on Saturday we were told that the pool was closed for a private event. That was the first strike. We booked a lodge room. The room had an odor. Our linens were soiled and sofa had white stains on it. I was directed to housing keeping when it was a problem of management. Only gave one star the pool and views were nice.

Awesome trip to the forest. Rustic / modern well appointed, clean and comfortable cabins. Friendly staff. Interesting restaurants nearby, tucked away in the boonies. Meriwether's… Hunter's Pub… You may see some critters… it is the forest, but that being said, I didn't see any grizzlies or anacondas. Get off the beaten path and have some fun!

Very deceiving when placing the reservation. Our room was small. It stated every room has a kitchen no bath tub just shower. Motel 6 rooms are alot bigger. Not what we expected at all. The location is great, the pool is nice the people working here are friendly. Too expensive for this size room.

I had the pleasure of performing a wedding ceremony at your venue this past weekend. Of the many venues I have used, I have to place yours near the top of my recommendation list! Your staff was very welcoming. The grounds were accommodating for all, beautiful views and spacious covered areas.

Disappointed. Small, stuffy room. Was supposed to be a king bed and was just a full. Pool was closed. The view was only underbrush which blocked the real view. No housekeeping apparently as all they did was tidy the bed and fluff the pillows. No towels or linens replenished and trash not taken out. Hair dryer was broken as was the toilet seat. The log chapel was pretty on the outside.

The cabin we stayed in was really nice upstairs when you walk in. Downstairs seemed like they cared less about it. There were quite a few patch spots and on one of the walls, there was one inch gaps between each board. It was just an inside wall, no big deal, Just not pretty to look at. Our cabin had a hot tub outside in a pretty private lil area on the back porch and also a big 2 person Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The upstairs is beautifully done complete with all the dishes and silverware you'd need, a fireplace and screened in back porch with a pretty view. The staff is very welcoming and helping. I completely enjoyed my stay and I actually live near by but, I am going back soon for a weekend get away.

Service was a little funny here, maybe because my wife and I run on weird hours compared to housekeeping's… BUT the place itself was actually pretty nice. We were in the lowest-bid room, and the wood slat walls were a little dusty, but we didn't find any bedbugs. Comfortable bed. Check-in and — out were smooth. The TV and Wi-Fi reception are surprisingly good for being up there. The parking lot is unpaved, rocky, and hilly, which was terrible for my convertible, but the view is good. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it for those looking to save a little compared to Callaway's Resort.

We stayed in one of the lodge rooms over the weekend and I was more than impressed. It was easy to find and the women at the front desk were incredibly friendly and willing to help us locate local restaurants and attractions during our stay. The room was very clean and well set up. Also, the view from the back desk was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was a little bit of noise throughout the night. It sounded like there was a critter in the walls chewing up the wood. However, this is to be somewhat expected because this is on pine mountain and basically in a wooded area so it wasn’t that big of an inconvenience. We will definitely be staying here again!

Couldn't get checked in till 3:45. We stayed in the lodge. The ceiling must not have any insulation, could hear the people above us just walking. The shower did not have enough water pressure to take a decent shower. Wall outlets were in short supply. The heater was the worst, the noise was Terrible. Maintenance of room is terrible. We will not come back here, and will let friends know about this place. The people were nice…

We were very excited about our stay at Turkey Trot cabin 25A. When we arrived, the cabin was very large and appeared to be clean. There was plenty of room for 11 of us. The bathrooms and bed sheets were clean but the cabin seriously needed a deep spring cleaning. The furniture had seen better day. We had 6 beds and they were all awful. They were the cheapest mattresses. The kids were staying for 2 nights and we were going to stay an extra night alone without the kids and grandkids. The thoughts of us having to try to sleep on that mattress again had us heading home. Also, we had 4 indoor Jacuzzis and only 1 worked which was upstairs. The office did offer and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. The lighting was terrible. I was very disappointed. I was expecting a lot more. We have several of our friends stay here and highly recommend this place. Big disappointment!

The resort had a great setting in the mountains. 15 minutes drive from anything but that can be both good and bad. The room was newly renovated and very enjoyable. There was quite a bit of renovation and cans and garbage ask over the next day from a wedding. It was also disappointing that our friends with whom we booked at the same time were nearly a mile away in another building. We would consider going back for the room though if we go back to the pine mountain area.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating for our late arrival and last minute plans. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. With an in-room jacuzzi and deck overlooking F. D. R. State park, the cabin-like room exceeded our expectations.

I had my wedding at F. D. Roosevelt State Park this last weekend. We opted to stay at Mountain Top Inn & Resort. We chose Cabin Joy. This place was amazing! I really just wanted to live there. It was beautiful and just the right size. Check in and out was also easy. I highly recommend staying here.

I rented a room for my anniversary with my wife purchased the romantic option well the damn tub does not work and they for got the roses champagne and chocolate strawberries— get the simple stuff right — room was great just I will never have a chance to get that first anniversary right.

AMAZING quaint & cozy little cabins! Most have a fireplace and also a Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Some have one outside too. Perfect little secluded spot on a small mountain, in the woods, for a romantic getaway! Also bigger cabins for family trips as well. I highly recommend!

I would not recommend this place. The cabin we stayed in (the Pickering) could have been a really nice place IF it would have been clean and some TLC. There was so much dust upstairs & cobwebs in the bathroom. The oven was disgustingly filthy. The floor register in downstairs bathroom had so much dust on it. Hot water was leaking to where it would burn your hand when making adjustments in the shower for the water temperature. There were no extra kitchen trash bags for a stay of 3 days. The $81 we were charged for supposedly cleaning is a joke. It's apparent someone is pocketing that money. A chair on front porch was broken. Windows were filthy as if they have never been cleaned. Just overall it was a dirty place. They were out of comment cards in the office… doesn't surprise me.

With much better directions on how to get to the lodges without any problems this would be notch place to use. Also if there were maps in the lodges to show people how navigate to stores and shopping center that would be a big plus.

Reserved this with a Groupon deal for the same day. The staff was nice. The room was clean. The location is breathtaking. The price was perfect. It was quiet, secluded, romantic. I, we were very happy with this place.

Nice office staff, nice rustic cabin… but horrible maintenance & housekeeping! We rented a large cabin for a family gathering. It was spacious and rustic, fresh linens, but it had not been cleaned WELL in quite some time. Called housekeeping & they returned to sweep off porch & wipe fingerprints & grime off one door & tv. I ended up wiping down as many dirty windows & dusty blinds as I could reach & cleaning the porch furniture. We had at least 6 light bulbs out and maintenance brought some but could not find bulbs to fit the main light in the kitchen (why would you not have bulbs to fit all fixtures? ). The following day we killed a scorpion in an upstairs bathroom and that night I killed a huge worm (at least that's what I hope it was) in a downstairs bathroom. We had to move some furniture around and there were dead bugs behind each piece. This would have been a great stay if the place had been clean, well-lit and critter free.

Great cabin, good place to get away. No cell signal in some of the cabins. Great if you want to get away, but not if you need to stay in touch.

We had our destination wedding here in Spring of 2017, booking all of the inn rooms and several of the cabins for the weekend for our guests. Although we had the ceremony in the State Park, we had the reception in MT&R's Pavilion. The venue was BEAUTIFUL, the inn rooms, which were recently renovated, were fantastic. The cabins could use some updating, but were nice. When some of our guests started arriving on Friday afternoon, after 3PM (which is their check-in time), one of the biggest cabins and quite a few of the inn rooms weren't ready. We had a lot of things planned for that afternoon; including the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner… A minor delay wouldn't have been such a big deal, but the rooms and cabin weren't ready for 2 HOURS! We had guests that flew in from England, as well as my elderly grandmother and the mother of the bride who were wandering around in the parking lot for 2 hours waiting for their rooms to get ready. The Resort refunded us the cost of the cabin for that night (although not the inn rooms that weren't ready on time either), but I'm not so sure that the frustration was worth it. We had booked everything months in advance, it's not like they weren't expecting us.

This place is lovely. It is situated on a mountain with beautiful views. The room was very nice and well appointed. This location also has cabins available and a pool. My only complaint, would be that parking was scary to me. Although being from Florida, parking on the side of a mountain could be understandably unnerving! I felt that the cost was reasonable for the location and the quality of the room. The staff was helpful and accommodating, although not available during the overnight hours. However, I felt very safe here and the area was well lit.

If you want a quiet destination for a romantic and scenic get away with your significant other this is a great spot. Beautiful surroundings, nice pool, comfortable beds, cable TV and Wi-Fi in each room. The dining options around here are not the greatest thou. But if you want a quiet destination away from the hustle and bustle of everyday while you are surrounded by nature, then this might be the place you are looking for.

This place is beautiful and so relaxing! The Inn offers several types of accommodations from hotel rooms to a rustic lodge to cabins nestled in the woods. The rustic lodge offers great views above the tree top and the hotel rooms are newly renovated. Highly recommended!

I like how secluded it is, and all the nature around us. The room is beautiful and the Jacuzzi was great. There isn't a lot of service for my phone and only like 8 channels on t. V. Very little to do around here.

As a former guest & employee, READ THIS! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! To keep it short it may seem cheaper but you sacrifice a good time as there is little to do & your putting yourself or you family at risk.

We spent a few nights in cabin 24A which is attached to 2 other cabins and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Note to people interested in booking a cabin… If you get an a cabin that is attached to other cabins the walls are paper thin and you can here everything and it makes it hard to sleep especially if you have little kids with you. Also they don't have published/enforced quite hours so our neighbors who checked in late were up past midnight slamming doors, pounding upstairs and being loud. There is no cell phone service (AT&T and Verizon) so you can't call the after hours number unless you drive a few miles down the road to get service. Two of the queen boxsprings we had were completely broken so one bed sagged so bad in the middle we couldn't use it and the other creeked so bad that every move you made the whole cabin could hear. The two bathroom door knobs didn't work and would always lock you inside the bathroom. Overall we made the best of it and still had a good time but they really need to show those cabins some maintenance to get a higher than 3 star review.

My wife and I visited last year with our children and had a great time. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We heard the property had just been bought and was going through some changes. After talking with the staff we were excited to come back and see a new and improved Mountaintop Inn. It has been one year and I have to say that I am impressed. We stayed in cabin 16 which is just beautiful. The new pavillion is pretty impressive and the old tennis court is now a great lawn and fire pit perfect for kids to run and play by day and make smores by night! From what I hear, the owners aren't done yet and we will definately be back next summer!

I really wished I listened to the review made by Jarot Taylor. My husband and I made the mistake of getting married here in Feb. The managers here are absolutely awful! They are mean and rude. Karen the wedding coordinator is the only shining star in that place. She actual cares and knows how important a wedding is to a bride. However, you can never get her on the phone or get any emails back so its almost impossible to have a good wedding here. If I listed all the problems I had with this venue I would be here all day so I will just hit some highlights: 1. It took me and my now husband 3 weeks after we put down our deposit to get anything started with our wedding and to get a meeting to get our wedding contract together because it is impossible to get in contact with anyone. We had to go through a manager to get anything done. And when we finally met up the manager had no idea about anything but Karen took care of us. 2.30 days before my wedding I get a call while at work from the manager telling me that they are going under construction on my reception site. Redoing the walls and floors. And that they "accidentally" over charged us by $400. 3. After seeing how completely different our reception site was, I was super upset and the manager said she could try and talk to the new owners to see if we could get compensation for the changes. I said yes please do because the changes were not what we paid for and it was too late for change venues.
