Hotel is being remodeled, and the room we were assigned was not complete with renovations — lamps did not work, sink area by bathroom did not work, strips around bases of walls were missing. Hopefully will be better once renovations are complete. Horrible smell in hallways. Guy who checked us in was great, however, there was another one that was checking in as well that was very rude to the customers.

1st room — upon approaching room we were welcomed by a huge pile of crumbs and dirt right in front of our door. Hair on our bed. Horrible smell in room. Toilet was not bolted down to floor. We could lift it up. Faucet in bathroom also loose. Once we found out the toilet didnt flush we were moved down a floor. This room smelled better but the toilet didnt flush. There was no working light in the bathroom and one working light bulb in the entire room. Water pressure in shower was great. Dresser drawers were stuck unable to open and close. Not a great place but best sleeping on the street I guess. Overpriced but the location was good.

I read several reviews b4 booking this room. I proceeded with caution but was very surprised. It's a nice hotel! You can tell that there is some renovating going on but nothing that got in my way. The Wi-Fi never worked and unusually there's no phone in the room. I liked the area. It has eating places everywhere. I would definitely return.

It was not what I expected from the Motel 6 brand of hotels. The location where I had the displeasure of staying should be assessed for its lack of quality. For example: instead of having proper window treatment such as blinds or curtains on the windows, many of the rooms simply had bed-sheets hanging over the windows secured by thumb tacks. Very unpleasant. None of the furniture in the room matched, there were unidentifiable stains on the sofa and what appeared to be dog hair on the sheets. Look elsewhere for hotel accommodations if you're planning to visit the Atlanta area.

Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there. The staff amd maid gave great service. Clean and nice rooms.

The best 2 star motel so far. Excellent customer service, spacious room, clean bathroom and a nice view from the 4th floor. Highly recommended if you want to save money.

This location is in the process of remodeling so there are missing pieces. Great location and cost is affordable. One staff member, Prince, has gone above and beyond to make sure my stay is pleasant while the others are just there for a paycheck.

The room was spacious, but extremely dirty. There were q-tips around the night stand as well as used tissues with pubic hair in them around the room. The bathroom had what looked like dried blood on the floor in front of the sink. The bathroom itself was filthy, I didn’t even shower when I got up that morning because it was so disgusting. The door to the room would not close properly and a large crack was visible to the hall outside the door. Also, there were no curtains in the room that would let light in without allowing people on the sidewalk to see into our room — privacy was a huge issue at this location. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Superior customer service! Beautiful, spacious room! I LOVE the hardwood floors! My new FAVORITE getaway! I live here in town with my sis and sometimes I just need my space… THIS is where I will go! THANK YOU!

The only complaint was a clean but badly stained bedspread. However they were in the process of remodeling so hopefully new ones are on the way. They are close to everything, shopping, food, conference center, medical care, whatever your hearts desire. For the price and location, not bad at all! And the staff was very helpful and friendly too!

Stayed in an recently updated room, and it was spacious and clean. Front desk personnel were professional and welcoming, as was the motel lobby. They have a couple of necessary toiletries available, and there are a many restaurants & Target within a walking distance.

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel staff, Melissa, Jamie, and Prince were warm, friendly and welcoming at all times, making my stay more enjoyable than any hotel I have stayed at. I definitely will be staying at this Motel 6 in the future.

Check in was nice and easy. The price was outrageous for an old property under renovations. Nearly $80 for a Motel 6. There were mattresses and such in all the hallways. It was clean though. No hangers in the room to put clothes on. No guests really in the building on a weekend with cheaper motels all around.

Comfortable, spacious, great showers. New management seem to know what they are doing. Very affordable, will stay here every time I'm in Atlanta.

We have been staying at motel 6 on windy hill road for couple of months now we are very pleased with the clean rooms the courtesy of the stay Desmond and Jamie as well as the manager Melissa go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the customer service is at the best that you could receive. They have certainly made it seem like we are more family and that they are concerned about us. We are here for work purposes and the weekly rate is very good. The people that clean the rooms make sure you have everything you need everyday you never have to ask for anything. Being pet friendly was a plus as they make sure your stay is the best it can or could be. I am very satisfied that we found this hotel and will be returning when we need to have a hotel in this area. We are conveniently located to restaurants and shopping so you have all you should need within a couple miles of hotel.

I'm currently staying at motel 6 on windy hill and I absolutely love the staff. Melissa and Desmond looked out for me since I got there. The staff love my kids so much and they know my kids by name and what they like… Mrs. Jamie is so funny and she is funny. Desmond is so nice and sweet. I love the staff they are the best. Nothing bad to say about them. Everytime I had a problem they corrected and I was satisfied.

This was my first time booking with Motel 6 which I accidentally reserved and I could not cancel due to a cancellation fee. Once I got to my room it was infested with ants and bugs I did not know of. I was switched to another room that served its purposes but still was not ok. My friend and I had our privacy violated by house keeping which he did not knock and she was in a towel. I stayed there a total of two nights. I was given my money back for 1 night by the owner, she was nice but maybe she should hire and take more awareness of who she hires as well. She did inform me of great changes happening to the hotel though. But I will still not ever stay at a Motel 6 again.

First our sheets were dirty, when I told the lady she just gave me two sheets and said sorry. She could have at least send someone to put them or go see. It’s said in the front that bathrooms provide shampoo conditioner razor soap tooth brush paste. We only got soap. We lost a charger. There were crumbs on the floor and dusty. The cleaners should actually clean and not make it seem it’s tidy sorry for the main boss but they should reconsider who they hire and check that they actually cleaning.

After leaving a very horrible hotel in the middle of the night this Motel turned out to be a bright light at the end of a dark tunnel. I received phenomenal customer service from Brianna from the moment I arrived. The price was surprisingly affordable for a Saturday. The room was a bit old but I was sick and sleep deprived so that didn't matter. The great customer service from Brianna made up for it. It was a great stay and I will return if ever in the area again.

I had two rooms reserved. One for me and one for my co-worker. My co-worker's first room had not been cleaned at 4 pm when we checked in. Her second room had wet towels in the bathroom and cigarette ashes all over the place (this was a non-smoking property). Her third room was OK but the toilet seat was cracked and it pinched her bottom, but did not break the skin. My room had a large piece of wallpaper separating from the wall, Dresser had a piece of wood missing, TV was blurry, lighting very poor (no light at front entrance) there was only one chair in the room and no desk (I used my laptop on top of the dresser with my head lamp to illuminate the area as the only lighting in the main part of the room was a lamp on either side of the bed). There was a weird area in the dark corner of the room near the door with a spigot over a bowl on the counter and exposed pipes underneath. The clerk told us when we checked out and advised her of the problems that the rooms were being renovated and she would discount our next visit. There will be NO next visit to that property. I have stayed at Motel 6 numerous times and been very satisfied. This was the WORST experience with any Motel 6. PS: I overheard other people complaining about their rooms. I can provide pictures if requested.

Worst motel 6 experience of my life… room was covered in mold, floor was soaking wet and smelled of mildew, management as well as front desk person was a complete imbecile. Upon checking in we noticed the problem and alerted them to it. They refused to switch rooms or give a refund. Brought it up to management next day. Same thing, no refund no room change. It was bad enough we notified the health department. Since staying there I developed an infection in my foot and my wife developed a case of pneumonia. So basically aside from working to have it shut down I will most likely be bringing a lawsuit against the owner. I have stayed at various motel 6s while traveling over the last month and none have been near as bad as this one. I recommend motel 6 take its name off this rat trap as this place is giving them a bad name.

Very quiet and I appreciate the size of the room and location. The bed sheets were clean and definitely smelled fresh out of the washer and I loved that we could control our temperature. However, I do feel it could have been a little cleaner. My fire alarm was broken which is a complete hazard and tons of the fixtures were broken. The shower curtain was extremely too small for the tub and so we had to mop up water when we got out. I would have appreciated a TV guide as well. Other than that my stay was fine.

Bathroom was dirty. Spa bath was not working at all. The box spring was filthy and the elevator was raggedy. The hotel would be so much better if the hospitality and cleanliness was excellent. The lady at the front desk seemed like the only worker and everyone was giving her a hard time. She's only one person and can do so much. She was very polite and helpful. But had little knowledge on the maintenance of the rooms. Also our toilet had stopped up on us. The area that the hotel is in is excellent. They really need ground maintenance and interior and exterior decor. This hotel needs to be a five star hotel because of the area but it needs more work.

There was a variety of issues with this hotel. Which I have listed below: Room wasn't cleaned properly Holes in wall at variety of locations in the room A sticker from a degree deodorant covering up the peep hole of the door Foul smell in the room Trash overflowing in the hallway receptacle Lack luster staff at the front desk. Asked for an iron, the receptionist stated "I don't know where the housekeeper is, but they have it". When I brought up my concerns with the staff members at the front desk, they informed my that I had a 30 minute window to voice my concerns and that time had passed. I asked to be checked out of the hotel at this time. I checked in the hotel around 3:30pm and checked out the hotel around 5:50pm on 8/26. I asked the facility for a refund, but they declined to issue a refund. So we are at this point. It disappoints me because I have stayed at many Motel 6 locations over the years in several cities in the USA and Canada and have never been disappointed to this magnitude. Thank you for your time.

I had a conference at the Atlanta Sheraton but wanted to stay at a less expensive place. I did some research — — this seemed like a good option. The staff was great, the hotel was clean, my room was good, the area around the hotel was quiet and it was a good experience — — better than my last few Motel 6 experiences. I would stay there again. Also, Braves ball park is only a half mile walk down the street. Perfect.

Bad hotel with bad service. Also you have to pay for Wi-Fi and there is no free breakfast. We had a horrible experience. Would not recommend even for the cheap Price.

My husband and I had a late check-in. We arrived around 12am. We stood outside for at least 5 minutes ringing the outside buzzer because we could see no one was at the front desk. So I called the number for the hotel and le it ring another 4 to 5 minutes, still outside. Finally a man came out of a room across from the front desk and buzzed us in. So we went in the room. The sofabed was sunk in because there was no mattress in it so we couldn't even sit on the sofa. There were hairs from someone else in the bed. The carpet looked old. Also the HEAT was on when we got in the room. The towels were the size of a baby towel and washcloths felt like sandpaper. So when we checked out, the clerk asked for the room key. I told him I was keeping it. He said that I couldn't keep it and they get it from all customers. I told him I've never given y room key back and he basically demanded that we give it to him. So I will not be going back to Motel 6 with workers like that.

This New Motel 6 is now remodeled. The paint looks great and the inside of it is awesome. If you had any bad experiences with the hotel, you should see it now. Come and see for yourself.

It's a good place people are very nice I wouldn't mind staying again.

Gross. Just gross. The outside of the building was the first clue but I walked into the lobby and it seemed alright so I went to go to the room. The smell hits you as you walk past the lobby, but I didn't think it was indicative of the room. It was. It's gross enough that I was worried about bedbugs. Seriously. Just leave and book somewhere else. The low price that priceline can get you just isn't worth it.

Dude at the dest keep asking me can I find hookers for him to pay for sex white girls only I asked him could he stop harassing me then he yelled at me n told me to get out … No only did I leave he kicked me. Every morning there is a black man that bang on your door very rude he stays in room 204 don't go there.

This place should be shut down bed bugs, mold, smells like smoke I would not take a dog its just that horrible it needs to be torn down ASAP book somewhere that's clean.

This place was not pretty. The beds DID NOT have beg bugs. They certainly used all the pine cleaner available. (There are your two stars) It was overwhelming the smell of cleaner. We had two adults and one child. We were given two towels. The man at the desk was rude and spoke limited to English. He was frustrated by his lack of English. The handyman was interesting. Our lock would not work properly. He had to come fix it — he said it was the infra red rays from the Coast Guard. We booked this room on Booking. Com We will never use that site again. It fits in with the Tacky Tybee motto.

Accidentally booked this place on priceline. It was my first attempt at using priceline. This place was disgusting. And I asked my money be returned on my card because I would not be staying here. The guy at the counter gave me the run around and told me I had to contact priceline. They of course told me he had to okay my cancellation. I'm apparently going to be lucky to get half of my $130 back. I wouldn't stay there for $20! What a dump! And the Indian guy at the counter was extremely rude! I do not recommend!

IT SUCKED! The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because I have to… The pictures on the internet don't even remotely look like the hotel on the inside… the first room when we entered the lights didn't work, the bathroom doorknob was broke off and when waffling in the bathroom the door got stuck. When I went downstairs to let front desk know they gave me a second room. The second room had someone else already in it. Going back to the front desk for a third time to let them know the second room has someone else in it they tell me that no one on the list for that room so they don't know why someone was in that room. So finally they gave me a third room. The third room after walking in everything looked okay but walked in the bathroom there was no shower curtain no wash clothes put back the blanket on the bed and it had pee stains in it. The couch and the chair were filthy. Finally I just said forget it and went to ask for my money back. The guy looked confused to y I wanted my money back. Yes bad review like I told him I was gonna do… DO NOT GO TO SKY SUITES, EVER…
