There is no wheelchair access except by the office and even after my wife told the woman at check-in I was in a wheelchair she put us in a room on the far end of the complex room 115.

Very quaint and family friendly! Pool side rooms are the best! Such a peaceful atmosphere.

I was able to bring my mom and my fur baby with me. I asked for a ground-floor room because my mom and I have trouble getting around. We were able to back the car right up to our door. Rob the manager made me feel like I was a friend of his. He is the kind of person you just want to sit and talk with! Chiquita at the front desk was amazing. We just left yesterday morning and I'm already ready to come back. We kept extending our stay. I miss you guys already! Thank you for allowing me to have these memories with my mother!

It's a great place! I been here for over a month in still here. Wonderful staff and the Hot Tube is my favorite.

The rooms are beautiful, very restful and clean. Everything is fresh and welcoming, we will be back. The staff was helpful, professional and friendly. It was too cold to get in the pool, but it was clean, nice size and inviting. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the waterfalls. Loved the waterfall! Breakfast was delicious and many choices. A nice size room for breakfast with hot food! It is our thirty-ninth wedding (Jan 24th) anniversary, it is a super place to celebrate! Such a fun weekend!

Stayed here for the 1st time. Had early check in with no problem besides the room was upstairs and it was alittle hard to carry my special needs child but they said to let them know if I needed help. Room was ok. Kinda small, and No microwave which was not a good thing. Hot water took forever to get hot. So. Overall all an Ok place to stay…

This place is beautiful and Brandy the front desk has the best customer service… Good breakfast and also love the pool and hot tub.

A nice surprise. We loved our stay here. Easy checkin, free cookies, coffee and tea in the lobby. The rooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. There is a really good breakfast. It’s really quite. Only disappointment was we wanted to try the hot tub. It either had kids using it as a kiddie pool or full of adults smoking or drinking.

Room was nice and spacious for 3. Pool area was very pretty. Hot and cold breakfast was free and good Super close to stores, restaurants and the beach.

Our room was not clean. There was left over items under the furniture from previous guests. There was an musty odor that we finally traced to the mattress. Pulling back the sheets we found a stain that was clearly the source of the odor in the room. The room was not cleaned at all during our 3 day stay. When we asked why the room was unmade on night 2, we were told that this happens all the time. We had to go to the front desk to retrieve fresh towels and such as we were told there was no staff to deliver anything to the room. Paint was chipped, patches made to the walls with no sanding or touch up paint. Power cords to the room lamps were coated in dust. For the price we paid and in such a good location we were very disappointed in the visit. Being a Rewards Club member I hoped to obtain resolution to this matter. When I contacted the management of this Best Western and shared the pictures and details I was told that we needed to understand that mistakes are often made and that there is really nothing he could do for us other than apologize. I really expected more from a quality brand such as Best Western.

I enjoyed my stay at this location, it's only a short drive to East Beach & The Pier. The staff was friendly, the hotel is adorable and clean. My daughter and I had fun swimming in the pool, I couldn't find another hotel on the island with such a nice pool/hot tub setup! My only issues were house keeping was running behind schedule, so our room was not ready by 3, which is check in time and the size of the room. It was a standard room with 2 queen beds and we had 3 adults and 1 child. It was slightly cramped. A microwave in the room would be nice too. I will come back to this location in the future. Hopefully I will be able to get one of the suites next time!

Where to even begin? We booked our rooms around a month ahead of time. We were told check in was at 3 P. M. We arrived just after three, and were told that the rooms were not ready, go have some lunch and explore, and they would call us when it was ready. We went and ate, and walked around town a little bit. Around 3 hours later, we went back to a lobby full of around 20 people. They told us all the manager had fired all of the housekeeping staff the day before, they did not know when or if any rooms would be ready. To top it off when the girl, Amber, who was running the front desk would call the manager, who was not at the hotel, he told her he was not coming in, and just deal with it. They would not refund anyone's money. We were finally able to get our money refunded, and got the last room at the Holiday Inn next door. We were told to come back the next day, and they would work something out for the inconvenience. When we went back, the manager, Jeremy, was in a back office, and refused to come out. He had a lobby full of people waiting to speak with him. We waited 30+ minutes before leaving. Still nothing has been worked out to compensate us for our time lost. If one bright thing can come of this, it is Amber's attitude. She was a shining star, and handled it very well, even though her manager was not backing her up. Maybe she should be made manager instead?

Cozy hotel, clean, the rooms exit to the outside. The prices are sort of high, but they are in a tourist zone. Breakfast is good and they always have tea coffee in the lobby. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The only down side the rooms are not very spacious. They simply tried to put too many things into the room. Barhroom is another tight space.

Hotel seems reasonably updated on the surface. Room was nice and modern but a. C was old and not very good at cooling the room down. Staff was friendly and check in/check out was fast and easy. Nice pool area as well.

This place was a surprisingly great stay. The rooms were updated and clean. The pool was nice. The breakfast was a full breakfast which a lot of 2 star hotels don't have. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a place I would definitely go back to.

If only all Best Western's can be as beautiful and pleasant to stay as this property has made itself to be! The concierge staff was with warm welcome and smiles to the clean and spacious room. Recently renovated. Nice rooms. Customer service is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly. We had an a/c unit not working. They swapped it out and discounted my bill. We had a king suite. Mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. Free breakfast every morning. Not one of those crappy breakfast that only serves danishes and cereal. Eggs, a meat, Belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels, pastries, and more. I would stay here again. Only complaint is the bed was too firm. I prefer a soft mattress.

Room is small, a/c didn't work correctly so we were hot. Breakfast and staff were great. The pool and hot tub are a nice bonus. We had a solid stay outside of the a/c issues.

GREAT, great location, just minutes from the coast, clean, well-groomed, friendly staff and inexpensive, it can hardly be better off.

We visit Saint Simons at least 3 times a year and this has become our go-to destination on where to stay. Any hotels will claim that they offer a free hot breakfast, however this one does an amazing job at making sure that everyone is fed up until 10 a. M. And that the food is delicious. I just wish they would have bacon more often. The rooms and the pool are always impeccably clean, and my wife considers the bed her dream cloud.

Wish I could give 3.5 stars, but in fairness will give 4! They did upgrade us when we got in. Room wasn't ready twice and the ice machine was down so it was a little bit of a journey looking for the other ice machine. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy, and the property hot tub was clean and a treat for my 6'5 hubby who Otherwise cant fit in a bathtub to soothe his muscles. Otherwise, all was good.

From Ohio, we Stopped through on our way to Florida. We stayed in rm 129. Very awesome and shabby chic, its a rarity when the pictures actually match the room. Very quiet and in an Upscale neighborhood. Surrounded my mid to upper 6 figure homes, it makes you not want to leave!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. The first time it was great and the room was clean. Second time was about a week ago and I can not say the same. The room had a weird odor. The first thing I do when I stay in a hotel is check the bed. So, I pulled the covers down and there were at least 10 different hairs all over the sheets. I tried to call the front desk but both the phones did not work. I had to use my cell. They couldn't bring my new sheets so I had to go pick them up myself. When I got back to the room and changed the sheets myself, my son noticed a dead roach on the window seal. The bathroom also had hair in the bathroom and on the toilet. It was like the room wasn't even clean. Very disappointed.

Stopped here to get road conditions for travel to St Simon on Jan 4, 2018. The employee working that day knew her stuff. She advised us not to get on I-95 due to shut down. That saved us many hours of travel. She was so helpful and informative. Georgia is so lucky to have her work in their welcoming center. So happy we stopped.

Though there was about an hour delay with getting our two rooms, the woman at the reception did her best to make us comfortable while we waited. Our rooms were fantastic. They were exactly what we needed after a long drive from West Alabama to the Georgia coast with sight seeing thrown in. The housekeeping staff did a great job as I still believe that "cleanliness is next to godliness. " My family and I would definitely like to stay at Best Western Plus again.

We love this place the staff was wonderful the rooms could have been a little cleaner but we enjoy the hot tub at night the pool is not heated so this time of year it was not really used great hotel for the price.

The place has been renovated and is a much nicer place top to bottom than it was a few years ago. A really good breakfast, and the room was very clean, with lots of well thought out creature comforts.

Absolutely terrible experience here. We paid for 2 queen beds, and only got 1 king bed. When we went to the front desk they refused to change the price to the price of the 1 king bed or move us to a room with 2 queen beds. We could not accommodate all 4 of us, and had to leave early! We even tried to cancel the room and get a refund for the last night due to the inconvenience, and they wouldn't let us. DO NOT STAY HERE! All they care about is scheming you out of your money!

It was my first visit to the island and it was amazing. I can say that I will definitely go back. The hotel and staff were great.

A nice quiet weekend getaway place to stay. The room was a typical room but upgraded which was nice. The breakfast was so so.

Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms, clean pool, clean hot tub. Nice lobby and Continental breakfast. Very quick response from maintenance when issues arise. I ONLY wish my a/c would've cooled the bedroom lower than 67 (I like to hang meat in my bedroom to sleep lol)

Everyone there is EXTREAMLY helpful & very polite! Jeremy Thomas, the General Manager, came up, asked how our stay was and if there was anything he could do for us while we were there. It is wonderful, especially these days, to know that Customer Service still exists and people really do genuinely care. I would, and WILL, recommend this hotel to anyone going to Saint Simmons if they want a Great, beautifully decorated place to stay. I know we WILL be back!

My wife and I got the King Suite "wow" is all I had to say. The room was very nice the bed was very comfortable. We loved the barn door going in to the bathroom, the hotel had bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower if you happen to forget it. The hotel has an amazing pool and jacuzzi area that has the moss-covered trees that makes for a peaceful swim. Everything you need is a short drive away. Highly recommended.

The appearance is very nice, the lobby is clean as well as the grounds. The housekeeping staff, horrible. They are not friendly or professional, they do not do a thorough job on cleaning/stocking the rooms. We came in after a full day on the island and at 330 we did not have clean towels (and they had taken the dirty ones) to shower with. We finally got towels but no wash rags. Ive never stayed at a motel that doesnt have enough towels and wash rags, and we travel alot.

Was surprisingly pleased. This is an older hotel that was totally remodeled. Kudos to the decorator! Felt like I was in a modern newer hotel for a fraction of the cost.

My husband and I arrived on Saturday everything seemed nice, the appearance is nice. We usually do not ask for house keeping we just ask for clean towels each day. Sunday evening we got back to our room around 330 and we had NO towels, clean or dirty as well as an empty soap dispenser in the shower. My husband went and got us towels from the front but were not able to get wash rags because " they were still washing". We went that night and bought our own towels and wash rags to insure this did not happen the next evening and just put DND on the door the rest of the stay. While moving things around in the room to get situated we noticed the filth on the ac unit inside the room, looks as if it has not been wiped down in months. When moving a stool under the desk in the room, we found a t shirt that someone obviously left behind and housekeeping did not clean well enough to find. The house keeping This is just a couple of the problems that we had with our stay. For the price and location we expected better service. We will not be staying with Best Western SSI again.

The place is nice. Great pool, great rooms. The breakfast was very nice. About $190 for a king bed room. Service was good with the front staff and the worker Manning the breakfast. However the house keeping staff were very rude and unprofessional, making vulgar jokes with each other. In one instance, I was asking a house keeping staff member something, and halfway through my sentence she pulls out her personal phone and started talking to her friend, completely ignoring me. The above reason is what prevented this from being a five star review. Certainly not worth the price for the level of service you receive.

Have stayed here several times. And love all the changes you've made. The breakfast room looks really good. Would recommend to anyone.

What they have done to this hotel is a miracle. Was not tbe best place to stay before it changed hands, but now it's like a spa at every turn.

This was our first time staying here and we were more than pleased! The place was very clean, everyone was very. Ice and helpful, the breakfast was very good not your average danishes and fruit. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, it was too cold for us to enjoy unfortunately. We will definitely be back! We have already recommended this place to our family. Hope to come back in warmer weather and hope we get as good of a rate as we did this time.

The room was so nice. Newly renovated and very clean.

It was still being remodeled, but our room was done. The pool area was very nice. Our room was the star. AC worked very well, and one thing I noticed was it is very device friendly. Plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging.

Hotel is still under construction, but the room we stayed in was complete. Beautiful hotel very modern, still smelled new. The furnishings and colors were modern and beautiful. Lots of charging docks throughout the room. Sliding pocket door to the beautiful tiled bathroom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was beautiful and well landscaped. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful! The inn was still under renovation but the pool is. Gorgeous with mature landscape and ambient lighting. The room was stayed in was completely redone and very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's not on the beach but it's perfect!

My advice to everyone is NOT to make reservations with this hotel. I made reservations back in February and cancelled them back in February as we decided to travel elsewhere. I received confirmation emails of both the reservation and the cancellation. There was to be NO fees charged to my card. However, the day after the reserved check in date, two transactions were posted to my account. I contacted the hotel and explained the situation. They were supposed to reverse the charges. I spent every day for over a week trying to contact someone and get help in resolving this issue. I was given the "run around" every time that I called, that is when anyone even bothered to answer the phone. They finally reversed one of the charges, however, they still have not reversed the second charge. When I call I am told that I must speak with the manager, who is never available and has yet to return my call. I am informed that there is no corporate office and it is independently owned so there is no one else I can contact. Doesn't sound like a legitimate business if you ask me.

My husband and I stayed here every year for our anniversary, well. My daughter and I went a few weeks ago and I was so disappointed, when I booked the room. No one told us that the pool and Jacuzzi were not useable. After getting tucked in, we saw bugs. So, then I was told that there was no Wi-Fi in rooms, we had to go to lobby or desk to get it. Although it is beautiful in the area, its definitely not worth it. It will be a while before I will be going back. If ever.

My family stayed at this hotel and were seriously underwhelmed. The room had bugs in the bed and we couldn't even get the staff to give us fresh sheets after we killed them. The pool was closed for "renovations" and the hotel does not have Wi-Fi. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. The price and location may tempt you to ignore this review, but why pay to stay in a dirty location with few working amenities and staff/management that does not care.

This was not a very good place to stay on the island. The pool and hot tube were closed for renovations. No one told us this when we booked the room. Yes, we could use the pool next door at the Holiday Inn Express which was only big enough for the 10 kids in the pool and their parents. Literally there were 10 chairs. The mattress sank when I layed down. I am a petite below average weight female. I will not be staying here again. I asked for a discount when I checked out, but the desk clerk said that he did not have the authority to make adjustments. (that cannot be true). The pool area was beautiful, wish we could have used it.
