Review of Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Hinesville, GA 3*

Just booked this place for a family event. Booked a king room, was placed in a room with two double beds. Asked the front desk and they said the website had been booking king rooms they didn’t have. We set our stuff down and left to go to a family event. Came back around 10:30 and changed clothes for bed. Notices my feet were sticking entirely to the floor because of whatever residue was on the flooring. Pulled back the sheets to find period blood stains…so either housekeeping isn’t changing the linens between guests, or they saw the stains when making up the beds and thought guests would be perfectly fine with sleeping on someone else’s bodily fluids stains $140 a night. The wallpaper was coming off the tops of the walls. The tub had a hole in it that had been patched with tape and fiberglass. None of the ice machines were functional. All the facilities were closed until further notice (pool, gym, etc). We changed clothes and packed up and left. My husband talked to the front desk and she was apologetic. She took all his information and asked him to call in the morning to speak to a manager who would handle our refund. When we called back the next morning, manager claimed we booked through a third party website (we did not) and we would have to handle our refund with whatever site we booked through. She should have been throughly embarrassed of the condition of the room and apologetic about our experience as guests in the hotel, but she was dismissive and brushed it off. We contacted corporate, who filed a dispute/claim and walked us through what information respond to the email with so that our refund could be processed. Avoid this place. It’s gross. We stayed next door at the Quality Inn (because it was late and nothing else nearby had any vacancies) and the service there wound up being phenomenal. Go anywhere else but here.
