Good price. Lady working there was a little rude. Was from another country and didn't seem to be very good with english.

Great location so close to downtown. A well organized room meeting all needs. Friendly warm, welcoming staff.

It needs to be understood that this is a quaint, older motel with lots of charm. The room and bathroom was small, but how much room do you really need when going out of town? The room was exceptionally clean, and even though the room was small. It had a king bed, desk, two nightstands, good sized refrigerator with separate freezer, and a microwave. The shower was wonderful with updated shower head that had adjustable massage settings. The staff was sweet and helpful. I will stay here again if ever in the area.

Beautiful small hotel. The price is definitely worth it. Very comfortable bed and pillows, a/c-fridge, microwave, coffee pot. New updated tv. Wi-Fi is terrific. Quiet and unbelievably clean. Paid a small fee for our little dog. Non smoking rooms, we smoked outside in a nice seated are, Gazebo also. Kept so clean not even one cigarette butt in the parking lot. Rooms are very clean, even a ceiling fan. Owners take care of the property also with beautiful flowers, plants and shrubs. Even a nice bench swing and a nice neighborhood. I would stay here as often as possible. The staff is wonderful and helpful to your needs. Would recommend this wonderful place to anyone.

Located ideally in downtown Ellijay the room was clean. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Cons: Tiny room and tiny bathroom that needs renovation.

Was concerned by some of the negative reviews, but glad that I didn't listen and stayed here anyway. Complaints were all unfounded. This place is great for what it is. Rooms are small, clean, and quiet. Seems like they have been renovated recently. Perfect location for downtown Ellijay. Friendly staff.

Good enough place to stay. Was 75 dollars to stay from 1 am to 10 am check out.

Our experience so Ellijay Inn was terrible. The owners were incredibly rude. We were lied to about their pet policy, first being told that pets were allowed and would be a small extra charge of $15, and then being told that pets were not allowed upon arrival. They also attempted to charge our card three times for one room, and then refused to give us a refund after all of the hassel and chaos once we decided that we didn't want to stay there anymore. The owners of this facility need to learn the meaning of hospitality if they intend to successfully run a business in a small town like Ellijay.

I was certainly very dissatisfied and hurt. I was made to cry by the people who own and operate this facility. I just came off th Appalachian trail. And I have my service dog. They made me feel bad. Put me in a smoking room cause of dog and dirt. Treated me like a third class homeless drug addict. Refused to get me another blanket and pillow. She yelled at me and was rude. My husband called and was treated same way. Told me to leave my boots outside. I made a bad mess I apologized. But not ok. I’m a hiker not a drug addict. I have a polite dog. Not a druggie dog. We want to hike! I have never been made to cry by such awful people. Ada says all dogs are welcome and not to treat differently. I WAS TREATED BAD and different.

The Place is nice, caring, decent, the attention is excellent and they have smoking rooms.

Only reason for 5 star is it was the only place we could find at 6 am that would give us a room driving through from Florida.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance of town. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Older property but everything worked & extremely clean. I highly recommend if visiting Ellijay.

The staff at this hotel is extremely rude and unprofessional. We (middle aged couple) arrived late at night for check in. Staff was extremely rude. Actual room cost was $13 more than stated on website. We were constantly accused of smoking in the room, we only stayed one night. Checkout was at noon, front desk began calling at 11 am trying to rush us out. Inquired about staying another night but due to staff's attitude decided to leave. Ended up being charged twice on my credit card. When I called to inquire staff was again rude and unhelpful. Had to dispute charge with my bank. Horrible experience. Also, room was not great. Poor bedding and not clean. No tub stopper. Stay anywhere else but here.

Wanted a quick overnight getaway and wife found this place. Have to say pleasantly surprised by it! Can tell they have been working on renovating it and can't wait to see what it ends up looking like. If you're looking for a safe, close to town, clean and cute place, this is it!

Used coffee pack in coffee maker, kind of gross, and only one pack of coffee. I am sure they would have given me more, had I asked. Only plastic cups, and no carafe. Less than 1/2 roll toilet paper. Otherwise, clean place to sleep and shower. Small fridge/freezer, microwave and hair dryer a plus.

Their Wi-Fi doesn't work. There wasn't any where to hang your clothes. No outlets in the bathroom. The building was run down. Carpet was old. They were not friendly at all.

Nasty place, with horrible owners. I found roach bugs in the room, and they don't allow visitors at all. And they are very rude! I don't recommend this place at all!

It's a place to rest for the night. The beds aren't bad. The people in the office don't speak great English though. Hard to understand and they seem to have difficulties understanding guests. Nice enough people, though, from what I've seen of them. Pretty much what you'd expect from a cheap motel.

You get what you pay for. Good for sleeping. Whoever did the remodeling in the bathroom should be ashamed. No vending machines for drinks. Charged my card even though we paid cash… waiting for the money to be refunded to my acct. Not happy at all about that.

Room was fine, but people were loud most of the night. The walls seemed thin, since it was easy to hear what they were saying.

Ellijay Inn is definitely mountain bike friendly place with close, walk distance to town to have a great burger and good beer. Owners of the place were very nice, friendly and treated us right. I would definitely recommend that place to anyone who would like to spend great days in Ellijay.

Looks clean but they have bugs. Me and my family stayed one night. We found bed bugs in both beds and in the refrigerator. We show the owners the bugs and the lady accused us of taking bugs from outside and putting them in the room. I will never stay there again. Ceilings are cracking too. Outlets are in bad shape.

What a dump. Fire trap as well. The fact that they have balls enough to charge money for this room amazes me.

I really enjoyed my room. It was very clean and nice. The bathroom and shower was clean with nice fresh towels. The motel staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price you can not beat it. Enjoy a nice stay in the mountains at the Ellijay Inn.

This place is old and needs some repair, BUT it was very clean and all we needed was a clean bed and towels. The bathroom had new sink and commode. HOT water and it was a very comfortable bed. Will stay again, when needed. Price was cheaper than any one else in town.

We tried to stay the night but bugs started to bite. We found bugs in the bed. We then switched rooms and found another bug on the pillow. The owners only refunded us half the money. We went and stayed somewhere else. The stratford inn is awesome.
