We were traveling from Fort Myers, Florida to Charlotte, North Carolina, on Sunday, February 17. We stopped at this Econo Lodge around midnight. I called ahead and received a price and because it was so reasonable, I actually got two rooms instead of one room with two beds I was with my elderly mother (who's on oxygen and a uses a walker), my sister (a cancer patient), and my teenage daughter. Amber (I believe that was her name) gave us two rooms beside one another and close to the lobby so we didn't have to walk so far. The hotel was either new or newly decorated. The rooms and the lobby were very clean. We all slept very well. The next day, my mother and sister enjoyed the free breakfast (waffles, eggs, and biscuits with gravy). My daughter and I elected to sleep a little longer. As I was getting everyone in the van (during a sudden rainstorm), the wheel on my mother's walker fell off. I rushed to get everyone in and then went one of the many conveniently located restaurants for breakfast. During breakfast, I asked my family what happened to the walker and no one really knew when the screw (that held the wheel on) fell off. We went back to the hotel to see if we could find the screw. We looked in the parking lot, the lobby, and back into the room without finding the screw. I figured that we could just get another one when we got home because it would function without the screw — the wheel would just fall off every time we put it into the car.

Breakfast is ok; doesn't offer any sausage or bacon. The rooms seem to be clean however, when you're actually in the room with a housekeeper, you see the style of cleaning. Not very sanitary. When changing bedding, they only switched out the sheets. Not thr blankets. Who knows how long those blankets have been on the bed. I began to clean the room with my own cleaning supplies. Also, certain housekeepers wouldn't/didn't knock before entering. That is very rude & disrespectful. There were a few sightings of baby roaches as well. Only one washer & dryer worked our entire stay. Staff was friendly. This hotel could do better.

Econolodge Brunswick exit 28 The room was nice. Centrally located for Brunswick/Jacksonville area. I would stay again.

Had a great experience. Check in was fast, even when arriving at 1am. Room was clean, hotel was quiet. This place gave me a whole new appreciation for Econo Lodge. Enjoyed my stay.

It was ok just too expensive. I won't be back.

The location is convenient and easy to get to. The room are spacious and comfortable and the services were good.

It's ok. Something bitting me at night. Otherwise not bad. Some of my co workers have liquor missing out there rooms or out of there bottles.

Roach crawled across pillow. Next room underage kids drinking. On spring break. 3/3/18. No adult. Police came. Found clothes from someone else near wall by bed. Looked under bed. Tissues, dust, food wrappers. Wont be back.

Stayed here many times. Incredibly friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Easy check in. Room smells like bug spray. Bathroom had water and trash on the floor. No coffee maker in the room. Tub fills during shower and takes forever to drain. Tv has a line down the side of the screen. Glad it was a spur of the moment stay for only one night. Asked for a clean room and was told none were available. Never even offered to come clean the bathroom floor. Pitiful! worst stay ever!

The TV channel selection was very limited but other than that it was a 'very nice place to spend the night.

Arrived after 11pm after driving all day. Place has no elevator. Checked in. Unloaded. Unpacked. Carried luggage up several flights of stairs. Showered and upon laying down around 4am seen several roaches. (one ran across night stand table at bed. One was crawling down wall and the other was on the floor). Went downstairs to report. Was told no rooms were available. And no rooms were available in surrounding area. Clerk called the roach by its specific type — told me she would talk to manager at 8am and gave me 1/2 can of roach spray to use in room til manager arrived 4 hours later. Upon talking to the manager when he arrived was told that it wasn’t his problem that the hotels in the area were booked and since I “stayed” in the room that the only thing he could do was knock $10 off of the bill and the corporate information would be on my receipt. I even offered to show him pics of the roaches. No apologizes. No sorry this happened. Nothing. He was just very rude and non caring. Ended up having to pay for a nasty, roach infested room that was now drenched in the chemichal stink of Raid Bug spray Because of this, my family got absolutely ZERO sleep due to the smell AND the worry of what else might be crawling around and getting into our luggage and personal belongings. Now I’m terrified that I’ll inadvertantly take a roach infestation back to my house! And management “couldn’t be bothered” with my “trifling concern”. Worst experience I’ve EVER had with a motel!

This hotel was surprisingly clean and quiet for a NYE stay. My family and I were happy with the room size and the Internet connection. All in all, it was a great stay for the price.

Perfectly satisfactory room. First floor hallway reeked of cigarette stench, but room itself was non-smoking as promised. And clean. Comfortable bedding, as well. Bertha who checked us in at 11pm was a delight, so friendly and helpful after our LONG drive. Overall, I would be glad to stay here again.

Excellent. Good location. Our visit was shortly after hurricane Irma hit the area. The hotel is clean, comfortable. Wi-Fi was not yet up when we arrived, but was repaired quickly. Friendly staff. We will stay here again.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how horrible this hotel is! This place is a dump! The rooms smell horribly of mold and mildew! The bedding was wet! All of it! Sheets, pillow cases, and blankets! I went to the office and complained. They told me it was due to the humidity! I'm sorry… what?!?!? We stayed in other hotels the last 3 nights. It was just as humid. Guess what? The sheets were dry! We asked for some dry sheets, so we could change them out and use our own blankets from the car. While changing the pillow cases out, we saw the pillows were filthy and covered in mold! This place should be shut down! Do NOT stay here! You've been warned!

We always travel on the cheap and usually expect a pretty terrible hotel. BUT this hotel shocked us with it's cleanliness, hot breakfast and excellent service! The beds are super comfy, the rooms are spacious and have a table and fridge. Impeccable. We will come back.

Nice clean rooms, soft sheets, pet friendly! The staff went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed! Great air conditioning in the rooms. The owners take pride in the hotel. It was a really nice stay. I will definitely be staying there again :)

Was very pleased with my stay! Im a housekeeper in Augusta GA so of course I checked the room from one end to the other! No complaints. Enjoyed our stay! Very nice and clean rooms!

The hotel was okay but the beds were horrifically terrible. The blankets had cigarette burns on them. They also had some questionable stains. The beds were literally like sleeping on concrete. Breakfast was okay though. Great waffles. Definitely not a 5-star hotel. I will not be staying again.

We checked in here after spending 1 night at another Econo Lodge. Trust me I will stay here anytime I come to Brunswick. Love everything about this Econo Lodge nice clean rooms, staff was wonderful never a frown. Housekeepers were great that I dealt with. This is the place to stay. I can go on and on about this hotel.

One of my favorite hotels, I stay here 1 to 2x a week for over the past 2 yrs, and I have never been disappointed always clean friendly staff and most importantly… I have never seen a bug of any kind. Strongly recommend.

Econi Lodge in Brunswick was an alright stay. Room smelled of cigarettes but an overall alright experience.

Very clean and much better then we had hoped for. Not fancy but a clean place to stay. I would stay again.

It was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The downside to the hotel was the noise outside. A garbage truck came at 0200 and was obnoxiously loud. Then the truckers started their trucks at 0600. But its really not the hotels fault that the noise was there outside so thats why I still gave them a 4. You can tell its not a 5 star hotel. But for 59 dollars you get a decent clean place to stay.

Definitely a great room for a great price! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful & very clean. The staff was very friendly. Great waffles too!

Very poor service, we had issues with the stay there and wasnt able to talk to the mangner until the next morning when we checked out. Still didnt get any results for correcting the issues with staying there. Don't waste your money or time going there!

Wonderful! Extremely clean, very nice and comfortable rooms! We came in late night and found amazing rate on a Friday night and friendly staff! Newer hotel. Will be staying again!
