We stopped here on a whim. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Cable was out… no biggie. I forgot clothes and Terri saved the day when I came back. Next time we come through we will definitely be stopping again!

The room was clean. Pool looked nice but didn't have a chance to try it. Had a decent continental breakfast at the front office.

It's good for a low cost hotel for a night or so, and seems to have nice ppl staffed their. Just wash your tub before using ours had a yellow/Brown ring with build up. Ajax helped us though. Ya get what ya pay for.

First room was questionable at best. Non smoking room next to a smoking room. They were gracious and helpful to switch rooms for us. Second room was on point.

Bed is comfortable but the rooms aren't really that clean. Nice size room and very friendly office staff. Need better housekeeping though.

If you want BED BUGS then stay here! You’ll sleep great in until your awakened from itching all over! I awoke itching my arms and felt big bumps on them like mosquito bites, I got up and threw the covers back and turned the pillows upside down and there the bastard was! Now (the following day) my right arm has swollen up like pop i, went to urgent care on this lovely Sunday to get told I received cellulitis from the bug,

Next to a Waffle House, Wendy's, and Walmart down the street. Has a nice pool and nice staff.

Great location, rooms were neat and staff was very nice. The receptionists were very helpful and happy when we came in and helped us with whatever we needed. Easy to get to. The bed was also very comfortable. Would love to visit again.

Hotel was booked solid but we just got our reservation in just in time. The manager was very accommodating. This hotel is really nice and quiet. Property is clean and modern. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. Great experience.

The manager was very rude and should be fired! As many years I have been there ive never had any problems! Please make sure you check room for any damages as soon as you walk in. Record or take pictures. They tried to charge me for damages I didnt do plus the sheets and pillow cases were filthy! # Live & Learn.

Spent a night for a interview next morning. Front desk was incredibly helpful. Slept well no issues. Would stay again if need be.

The room was nice enough considering the price but the service was awful. We waited almost 16 hours for towels and the staff was just rude.

It smells weird in here and the mattress is hard. I image that when I do fall asleep I will be woken up every time I move due to this noisey bed. I shouldn't have driven home instead of stopping and spending almost $100 to be uncomfortable.

Great budget stay. I was working out of town and only needed a evening spot to clean up and sleep. The rooms aren't the nicest but good for the price. Staff was nice, the Wi-Fi was fast and the free morning breakfast was really good too.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel with my family. It was so quite and soothing to stay here. They also have a swimming pool which was very clean. The housekeeping staff and front office manager was very undertanding and was very nice. They made my stay very pleasant. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for a few days for a friend's wedding nearby. Room was great, service was great, breakfast was great!

We were in the room for all of five minutes before going back down to the front desk and getting a refund. The room had an odd, mildew-like smell and many of the things in the room were sticky. The sheets had holes and the toilet looked like it hadn't been clean. Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever seen.

The only good thing was the bed & television. The bathroom & sink area needs an extreme makeover and the unusual smell was bad. The breakfast is very basic and the staff was okay, just chilling I guess. I'm not staying here ever again and do not recommend it.

It's a place to crash. Clean rooms and beds. House keeping does great. The bathrooms need updating and breakfast was anything but special.

Although it's quiet and clean… a little more could be invested in TOWELS… HARD AS ROCKS and the window curtains… AWFUL. Had to use the bottle of wine I had to DRINK to keep the curtains close. Paid for non smoking room but it seems like every cigarette smoked on the property was filtered in my room… staff was nice and it's located close to fast food. Wal-mart any other places to purchase things I forgot to pack.

My stay at the travel lodge was pretty good and was very comfortable with the waffle house right next to it made it very convenient.

I stayed in this shabby ass hotel this past Saturday through today actually. First of all, when I got there, I checked in, that went smoothly. However, when I went up to the room I was given, all I did was open the door, and BOOM it smelled like there had been 6 people chain smoking in they're with the door closed for 24 hours, I am NOT exaggerating. I have bronchitis and could easily have an asthma attack. I went back downstairs to advise that I asked for a king room, non — smoking, the guy at the front told me I booked a double room smoking, which I checked my reservation again and it said kind bed no smoking. He gave me a key to a different room… I went to that room and the clothing rack was full of men's clothing and someone's diabetic syringes and glucose machine were out on the desk! I went back to tell the guy and he looked bewildered that anyone was even in the room and have me yet a THIRD room. It didn't smell of smoke and no one else's belongings were in the room. So we left but when we returned, we noticed how HORRIBLE the room really was. You could not tell if the sheets were clean or not because they were just that dingy, there were water spots on the desk, the furniture had all types of dings and knicks, the wall behind the headboard looked like someone tried to claw their way out, the toilet ran throughout the night every 20 seconds, yes I counted because I couldn't go to sleep! The room looked and felt so bad we slept in our clothes.

Wonderful service, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. I've stayed here multiple times and will keep coming back any time I need a room in the area. While my house is being worked on this is my home away from home!

The staff were friendly and very professional. The rooms were over all very clean The Manager Ben was a great guy and, listen to my needs and help me out in a tough situation. Great job keep up the good work see you again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The place is underrated for sure. I stayed with my husband and son, in non smoking room, 116. Ate the breakfast they had provided, and allowed me to stay till 12. So I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay to over priced tho.

We got there late and the clerk was still there waiting check-in was easy and quick. The room had a weird smell and there wasn't enough tissues.

Service is good. Nice personel. Water in our room had low pressure. Clean.

I stayed here for 3-4 days. This place is very clean and tidy. The breakfast was very efficient. The staff is very friendly n all the rooms are clean and bugfree. I would recommend staying here. Best prices.

I must say this hotel is the best for the price in the area. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very friendly staff and safe. Parking lot was well lit at night, the outside was kept neat and parking lot was not full of cigarette butts and the grounds were kept up. If your on a budget and not wanting to pay a fortune, I would say give this place a try.

Do not stay at this dump! I had to move to a new room after the first night because the room I was in was falling a part, (ceiling in the shower was falling in). Then I had to leave a day early and the still charge my credit card for the night I was not there and refuse to refund the credit card. This place is the worst kind of dive! a complete ripoff!

Some rooms have bed bugs! The lady at the front desk was very nice. She gave me room 106, as usual the first thing I did was check the seams of the matress. Not only were there brown spots on the seams but ALL OVER THE MATTRESS. I sent a photo to my health inspector friend and he said that it was bed bugs and to get all of my stuff out of that room. She gave me a different room on the second floor. No bed bugs in this one (thank goodness). She was very friendly and nice but she didn't apologize for it or do anything about it. I'm here for two nights for business. I suppose this will do. But I will not be returning here.

We stayed a weekend, it was great for what we wanted… clean, plenty of ice, Waffle House next door, friendly staff, free breakfast, microwave, everything worked fine… what else do you want from a hotel this reasonable? NO Bedbugs in our room… ridiculous!

They have BED BUGS! I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did not want to go there, but the Hampton across the road was fully booked. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very polite, but not truthful. As soon as we entered the room and begun to settle in, the lady from the front desk came to the room and told us that the room had recently been exterminated and it may have a smell. That was a red flag for me. I immediately asked, for what was the room exterminated for and did they have bed bugs. She assured us that they did not have any bug issues and the extermination was just routine. That very night I woke up and found three small bug bites on my right hand. I showed my husband and he said it could have been a mosquito, so HE went back to sleep. After that I could not sleep, I was itching all night The next night my husband woke me up and it was a small round bug crawling up his arm. He pinched the bug, and it popped. It was filled with so much blood that when it popped blood was the only thing left. We looked around the bed but didn't see anything else. The next morning I had a bug bite on my forehead and my leg but my husband had nothing, The third night my husband woke me up about 3:30 am. He was looking on the other bed were we didn't even sleep and found a small bug. Then I got out the bed we were sleeping in and took off two sheet and found another bug. We killed one bug but not the other and looked on the internet and confirmed it was BED BUGS.

Wife and I have had a great time will be back Very quite and close to everything in town.

This hotel was what you'd expect from the price — a cheap roadside dump that should really only be used if you need somewhere to crash for a night or two. The hotel was under renovation when we were there (5/3/13 — 5/5/13) and our room smelled like paint, which I guess is better than smoke or some other substance. The air conditioner sounded like a diesel engine and the refrigerator made an odd ticking sound, so we unplugged it since we weren't using it. The carpet appeared to be relatively new and the bathroom was decent. We had a king-size bed which was comfortable enough but when we got there there were only 3 small square pillows on the bed. I attempted to call the front desk with our in-room phone but the phone didn't work. I then tried calling the hotel's listed phone number and got no answer, so I went back to the lobby and asked for more pillows. The staff were helpful but they had a hard time finding more pillows for us. They do offer a hot breakfast consisting of biscuits, sausage patties and waffles (your typical continental fare was there too) although there is a Waffle House directly beside the hotel. There's coffee and juice available but we found that the coffee was cold and the juice watery. If you have to spend the night in Covington, spend an extra $20 and go to the Hampton Inn.
