We booked the Super 8 hotel in Byron because it listed many amenities including a free continental breakfast. When I arrived I asked Dev at the front desk I asked what time breakfast would begin. He said there was no breakfast. I showed him our confirmation listing free breakfast and asked if we would be given vouchers to at least go buy a breakfast he said I’d have to call the manager “tomorrow at 11:00 AM (after our check out time) to see what he could do. ” Dev was very friendly and helpful saying that he had spoken to the manager about this, telling him it was dishonest to state the pool was open and that there was free breakfast on the website when neither were available. I asked for Mr. Patel’s card and said I would be in touch since Dev told me it wouldn’t do him any good to contact him himself.

Beds are HORRIBLE, been tossing and turning on this rock hard slab for 2 hours. If I weren't night blind I'd leave but sadly I can't even see to leave this miserable place. Sunrise can't get here fast enough! I'm thinking sleeping in my car would've been a better choice. Huge waste of $75

Nice clean quite no breakfast since the pandemic but all good.

Stayed here over night was clean and convenient to a lot after parking never moved. I felt secure here and that was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, but needed to be air out. It had a musty smell. The breakfast was great. Overall it was a very good value.

It was dated but clean, customer service as really good they where able to check us early and reasonable rates.

I stayed here because it was near Macon, GA. It is in a great location! The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean and nice. I would definitely recommend it, and I will stay here again in the future!

Pet friendly Super 8 in great location. Easy on and off I-75. Clean room with nice big TV. Desk clerk was rude about giving us the room we had booked two weeks in advance. Just about every fast food place you can think of including Pizza Hut and Waffel House. All burger places with easy to walk. Great margaritas at Casa Mexico.

I had a non smoking room and there was guys smoking right by my room
Playing loud music drinking cookout out on a grill. I paid 90 to relax not listen to a party, there was more but I would not recommend this hotel at all management did nothing, Wanted to say something but did not want my vehicle torn up.

This is the cleanest and most comfortable Super 8 that I have ever stayed at. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly employee who provided me with a quick check in. O The room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and free Wi-Fi. Checking out was speedy and friendly. The gal was very pleasant. Definitely will stay there again!

From Wisconsin and it’s hard finding a good hotel for a good price but this is the first time stopping off the highway and not only getting a clean room but great hospitality! We got in around midnight last night and the front desk lady was great. The room was clean and very cute! Also great breakfast in the morning. The service in the morning was great as well. I was greeted by every employee and felt welcomed. Definitely choose this play when traveling! Thank you for Super 8 staff!

The room was roomy; however, there were insect parts on the sheets in one of the beds, the toilet didn't look clean, and the management is terrible! The owner opened our door in the morning and he walked into the room while I was undressed! When I checked out, within an hour of the occurance, the incompetent woman at the desk tried to apologize. She said she told the manager we had already checked out! I asked to receive some type of credit or compensation, given the embarassment, and was told she was not authorized to do that. I asked her to call the owner to the desk and she refused to do so. The place is also noisy with traffic from the nearby highway and people banging around all night. The continental breakfast is horrible with pre-packaged rolls and terrible coffee. I do not recommend this motel. One expects clean sheets to sleep on an privacy when they rent a room for the night!

Great value. Room was nice & clean. All hotel staff polite. (with exception of young blonde). Decent breakfast. Lots of restaurants, gas stations, etc. In the area.

The hotel was clean, priced right, and no bugs as often seen in so many hotel reviews. The desk clerk was extremely friendly during the check in. He was wonderful in telling us how safe Byron is because I was pulling an open trailer of furnishings to go in a house that we were hauling to Florida. He also told me the trailer would be in view from the front desk as well. They accommodated my large dog when many hotels limit the size to 25-50 lbs. (which makes no sense because it is often the little dogs that bite and are yappy! ) I will be stopping here on future trips to Florida from Michigan. Thanks!

Stopped as a one night travel thru. Excellent for this purpose. Clean, modern with great mattresses after a day of driving. Highly recommend for this purpose.

Nice clean room. Only problem was the bed was like sleeping on concrete. I had king suite.

Fabulous stay with friendly staff. Comfortable room and tasty breakfast choices. Very near to all sorts of dinner options, within walking distance. I would stay here again.

This was my first time staying at this property, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Hotel looks to have been recently updated, rooms were quite nice, and the bed was great. Hotel staff was really nice, and accommodated my request for a ground-floor room when I checked in. Overall, one of the better places to stay in Byron, I'll definitely stay here again in the future! Friendly staff, clean room, good bed, affordable, good location!

Our room was nice, and all we needed was 7 hours of sleep time in it. However the sound insulation in the road facing side of the room is nonexistent, which is often the case in older motels. The HVAC system would not stay in fan mode, so the heater cycles loudly all night. To get good sleep here requires really good earplugs or excellent noise canceling head phones.

It was awful owner is rude mold in the room smelled and no hot water Luke warm wanted a hot bath Luke warm we go to that same hotel every year this was pretty bad I hope to get a refund.

Stopped here late for some rest on a long drive. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I'd stay again and the rating is a reflection of a decent price too. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms were clean and there were no signs of bed bugs. There was some dust in the corners and some wear and tear on the furniture, but the bathrooms and sheets were very clean. The room was pretty large and comfortable. The owners and staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Wi-Fi works well! We recommend it.

The smell of the room was not a pleasant start to my evening but my night was fine and everything worked and was nice for the night when I got the A/C going and the air moving in the room.

Rooms are clean and look fresh. AC works ok, I like it 65 and was only able to get it to 72. But the worst part is the bed. Felt like I was on a sleeping bag on plywood. Bed is very hard. If not for the bed I would give this place a 3 or 4.

Very help fill nice guy even let me keep my Sierra truck fill of took up front. Going to Florida to help my elderly family.

Stayed here just to sleep halfway to our destination. Room was very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Nearby restaurants. Was pleasant and comfortable. Liked it better than some I've paid twice the price for. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent hotel The Pool A little small but no matter everything was clean.

Room was clean, AC was cold, shower was hot. Bathroom could have used some touch ups from the sheet rock being warped and bubbling from constant moisture exposure but what do you expect for an inexpensive motel. They also have breakfast which ends at 9am. No eggs or bacon but they had a make your own waffle area and the biscuits and gravy we're very good. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed one night, just to get off the road and sleep. Beds were arguable for comfort. We slept good but we were also incredibly tired.

Don't pass this by! AS GOOD AS IT GETS. Totally renovated just enough to put it up there with the fancy chains. Great sleep.

The rooms have a musty odor especially the two we stayed in on ground floor. Part of the issue is the carpet and the fact that the air conditioning systems are left on 77 or higher. When you walk on the carpet, it feels slightly damp and I would bet that mold/mildew is underneath otherwise the rooms wouldn't smell musty. This is an issue if you have allergies. Bed was older and squeaky but okay. Make sure to book on Expedia versus walking in, you will get a better price rather than what the hotel assistant can give.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Nothing super super fancy but for a motel near the highway its the PERFECT place to stop and rest for the night. Nice area. Breakfast. Multiple stores and food places near. Great location.

Who would have ever thought super 8 would have been so comfortable. Nice comfy beds, immaculate rooms. Only complaint is the front desk I believe overcharged me. I would stay here again!

The room was really nice. I stayed 2 nights and the bed was super comfy so I got some good sleep. The bathroom was very clean, and showers were great with good water pressure and newer shower head. There was a nice flat screen for the TV. The refrigerator was pretty big compared to others I've sern/had in rooms before. I all the electronic amenities: hair dryer, and coffee pot, and microwave all worked. I the A/C was jam up great! THE BIGGEST Downfall and DISAPPOINTMENT AND was that the pool was disgusting all murky and lined with algae which really upset and aggravated me since I paid full priced rates and spent $150 for 2 nights when all the advertised amenities were not available. I will say though that when I checked out they had the pool drained completely with nor a trace of algae but it still had no water so wasn't worth spending the money for another night.

Good clean room with good pillows, comfy bed, coffee maker, hairdryer, flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. Almost completed redo. Toilet was not secured and some trim areas are not painted but other than that it would have made 5 stars. Didn't try breakfast.

Very clean room. This was a great affordable little place off the exit. We were in a cinch at 1 am, and the employee was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was waffles, biscuits and gravy, 2 cereal options, apples and a packaged donut. Coffee and milk were beverage options.
