What can I say. The absolute best hotel in Atlanta. The staff at this hotel take the experience of staying here to a new level.

The Mandarin Oriental chain is, in my opinion and taste, the best of the 5 star hotels. Perhaps it's the soothing zen music, the 1000 thread count sheets or the awesome shower that has just the right amount of pressure, everything checks out. There were things I wouldve changed if I had the power, like the early morning construction or the stone throws apartment building next door where you can see some interesting goings on but it made for the experience. One thing that I thought would be better was the bar. It was a little small and boring but other than that I will definitely be back.

Nice check-in and stay, but bad check-out. I received a warm check-in from a female desk agent and I was greeted by name upon returning to the hotel after lunch. The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable and the house band that played that night was talented. The room was nice, but it was not remarkable enough to warrant an almost $500/nt price. The room was very similar to the Vegas Venetian rooms, which are half the price. The surprisingly clumsy check-out tarnished the entire stay. The male agent who checked me out at 7 am was dry, unsmiling, and clearly unhappy to be there. His manager had to help him complete my uncomplicated, but lenghthy check-out, and the manager, not the agent, offered a belated "thanks for staying" as I was halfway out the front door, as if he suddenly remembered his hotel script. There are plenty of luxury hotels in Buckhead with better 360 service at a similar price point, so I won't be back.

The rooms are just lovely and spacious. The balcony we had was just looking at the building next door, but it was on the highest level we could get without getting into the residence levels of the building. Hotel is very posh and nice.

It was all right. For a five star hotel, I kind of expected a little more. Room was very nice; however, I stayed there for multiple nights and the room was never tidied up. Hotels half the price do a better job than that.

Wow. I booked a half day for me and my sisters for a birthday celebration. The massage option in the half-day package was “peaches and cream journey. ” I was nervous I was going to come out smelling like a Bath & Body Works candle but that was definitely not the case (I would suggest rebranding that service? ). The two-hour treatment was pure heaven. Mark was the jam — he really knows what he is doing. The second treatment was an 80-min facial. I can’t remember the name of my aesthetician but it was great! Almost fell asleep several times — was so relaxing. Being able to access the sauna and whirlpool was the cherry on top of the day. It wasn’t cheap, but completely worth it. I often feel tired and groggy coming out of a massage, but I really felt rested and energized. Also, the facial did not leave me feeling oily at all. Very glow-y (not a word, I know). Highly recommend!

Good food. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Rooms are very small for the price no one told us construction was going on outside our window. They charged us for the mini bar that we did not use housekeeping took the stuff. Other than that it was a good stay. Thanks to Mrs Edith she resolved my issue.

This location is mismanaged and offers a sub-par, frustrating experience. I reserved a room at the Mandarin Oriental because I wanted to offer my wife a special five-star experience to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, our evening was interrupted several times by staff and things in our room breaking. We left the hotel after our stay frustrated by our experience and the response of the staff. More details: (1) After checking in around 6 pm, we headed upstairs to our room and found that the door was open and housekeeping was in our room. We entered and the sweet lady spent a few minutes finishing up and then assured us that everything was good and ready for our stay. (2) Later when my wife got into the shower, she found that the shampoo and soap was open and used by the previous guest. (3) After returning from dinner, our keys would not unlock our door (this was the first time in the evening that we had to use our keys because initially housekeeping was in our room and the door was open). We went back down to the lobby and the staff made us new keys. We went back up and they still didn’t unlock the door. We went back down to the lobby and they sent us back up with a staff member who was able to open the door after trying a number of keys. Once inside, the staff member assured us that a technician would be coming by to resolve the problem with the door.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. I've stayed at all the hotels in the area and this one is definitely the nicest. Location is great (as are all the other hotels in this location) If it was part of SPG or Marriott, I would stay here every time I'm in the area.

Food and Beverage & Engineering issues absolutely destroy this brand's Buckhead location; the service is on par with McDonald's, perhaps F&B should be trained by Chick-Fil-A. Recently stayed here for 2 nights in lieu of an immediate honeymoon. Room service cannot deliver a sandwich to save their life — first attempt abandoned after 90 min wait and 2 calls to front desk; second attempt after alerting FOH manager of previous failure required 2 calls for front desk and actual delivery included wrong items. The lobby cafe is barely aware of duties — lunch was a disaster for our schedule, as it took 15 min since self-seating to get coffees (cold), 35 more min to get 2 hangar steaks (one medium; one med-well), and 20 more min to get the check (gratuity already included). Engineering is competent, barely. The shower wouldn't drain, and after alerting Management, engineering came to the room over lunch to fix. Despite being gone for more than an hour, 2 Engineers were drinking coffee in the room and telling jokes when my new wife and I returned from the lobby cafe bumbling thru lunch service. I've stayed at the Mandarin Oriental's locations in Munich and New York. The Mandarin Oriental Atlanta is but a shell compared to these other locations. All concerns were raised to Management almost immediately, yet room service still couldn't get themselves together. heavily suggest you don't waste money here.

Great food, great service and very spacious! The bed felt like it was harsh and tried to exfoliate me overnight. Other than the rugburn therapy, the hotel was perfect.

It was a nice night. My band rented out the presidential suite and while it was a very large and a nice room, at the price of $3000 a night, I was disappointed with the lack of technology. It's 2017 and there was no 4k smart tv, no speakers for music, and no updated features. It was a great room and hotel with great service but I think some updates would take the room to the next level.

The hotel staff is just very personable people. The food is awesome in the banquet staff is just top notch especially The bartender.

The staff was exceedingly friendly and hospitable. The rooms were clean, well cared for, and stylish. The coordination between the hotel and attached restaurant needs to be improved.

The hotel rooms fit the 5 star status. From the slippers and bathrobes, to the amenities that the hotel has to offer. However, the lobby leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

A large group of us went there for tea and dessert after dinner. The lounge area's atmosphere is incredibly comfortable, the service was top notch and the food was very good. I had the bread pudding, it was excellent however considering the price you'd think it's the best you'll ever have but it wasn't the best though, again it was very good. I'd give it 5 stars if it was the best.

Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta is great. The place is clean and tidy, customer service is so good. And when I order, the waitress is nice and explains every food I ordered, when I ate the food, it taste what I expect. Delicious. And also, they are well — clean. I will come again and introduce this place to all my friends.

Very nice hotel, you get what you pay for. Great location right in the middle of Buckhead. Rooms were nice, had every amenity you would expect from a hotel like this. The service was also very helpful.

I spent the weekend at MO with my wife, and we had an incredible stay. The front desk staff are awesome and the spa staff are incredible as well. This hotel beats any others that I've stayed at. It's clean, quiet, and the menu options are prepared to the same standard. Phenomenal place.

Very nice and the staff was warm and receptive. My only issue was asking do I want to add a tip on a 15 dollar valet. Please never ask someone to tip a valet when you are paying 15 dollar to park.

For my B-day my husband always gets the best rated hotel either for us to stay or for me to have a spa day. This year I experienced the Mandarin Oriental Spa. The hotel is more like a boutique hotel, very cozy, and welcoming. I had a facial, manicure (very good), luch by the pool, and then the "full" body massage. I felt very uncomfortable having lunch before the body massage, and told the spa concierge about it, but no (attempt) changes were done. To make the story short, I got to my massage room, and told the masseur I loved reflexology. Despite that hint, he mostly focused on my back and shoulders. At one point he did touch my feet, and I said "I need to undo my hair to enjoy this" … and he replied "ohhh. I'm so sorry"!. He was actually just removing the ankle pillow. The massage was over and he did not even touch my feet! What a turn off! Plus, I thought I was getting an 80minutes full massage for 55 minutes price as it was posted at the cocierge desk! I had to assume they did not advise my husband about the offer. My husband expected me to be happy, excited, and relaxed, but I had nothing good to say. I felt so bad for him. I was even more upset when I came across his credit card statement… $400 for something that I did not even enjoy. Never again.

The condos here are super nice! They have nice cleaning service and Modern Chinese style! They let condo residents join in on the activities and when ever they had orderves, they let condo residents have them super nice! I moved to China and got a house but living at the mandarin oriental was super nice! Sometimes I stay in their hotel while I'm on business trips. Thank you!

Ons simple request please freeze my ice pack for my medicine. Staff and Manage put in the refrigerator. Very un organized, no value for customers time. 20 minutes to locate a manager with no viable solution.

The atmosphere was excellent the room was awesome. We had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing. The bathroom was the best feature to me. I recommend this hotel to anyone. My mate brought me here as I surprise weekend getaway. He did an awesome job surprising me this past February. Can't wait to go back again.

Our room was really nice and the staff was real accommodating for our infant. We asked for a crib and refrigerator and they were in the room when we arrived. The location is perfect and easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again.

I love everything about this place from the staff all the way to the decor. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless (hard to say since I am a little O. C. D) I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my time but this beats them all hands down. The spa inside of the hotel is relaxing. I would highly recommend Kayla to help set your appointments for a least a day of relaxation.

This was one of the Best experiences ever! We enjoyed the impeccable hospitality and spacious accomodations. Our expectations were exceeded! We received a hand written welcome card upon arrival from Robert Lowe, General Manager. Celebrating my husband's birthday we were surprised by a delicious chocolate cake especially prepared for the occasion. Our driver John was timely and cordial escorting us to our restaurant for dinner. The fresh flower petal turn down was delightful as well! We royally enjoyed the visit and look forward to visiting again and again.

Had wonderful experience. Service was impeccable. Decor is very nice and clean. Upon arrival, TV was on and ice was placed in the small ice bucket. The concierge services were great. I needed to get my charging cord out of my car, and they had the valet bring it to them and then delivered to the room. The bathroom is pristine clean and the room was absolutely amazing. Great mattress, comforter and delicious pillows. A wine key and wine glasses are available, as well as a small bottle of red ; several different small liquor bottles and snacks are at hand (Yes, you will be billed for the consumed goods) A beautiful place.

This place is AMAZING from start to finish! The room was stylish and the bathroom was very nice! The separate shower and tub was great! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I was especially appreciative of Shavonnah who helped me upon checking in. She asked what brought us to the hotel, found out it was our anniversary weekend and sent us a HANDWRITTEN note along with chocolate covered strawberries. Its the extra small touches that make this hotel above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again.
