Everything was excellent the food, they really are exceptional in hosting a party.

Understaffed, lackluster staff, few amenities; a standard Marriott is nicer.

I have attended many events at this location. It was very well organized. The staff is friendly and have an “at your service” attitude.

Very beautiful place to stay clean and very comfortable.

My husband and I have always satisfied and happy with Westin… awesome service. We love everything about this hotel.

Stephanie in the executive lounge is awesome! My hairdryer didn’t work on day one of my new job and she snagged me one and also told the house keeping staff to swap mine out in my room! My Monday was saved! Above and beyond!

I was in Atlanta for few days for a business trip and stayed in one of the Double Room with Lake view. The room I stayed in had a great view of the lake below. The beds were very comfortable, facilities clean. I ordered room service on one of the evenings; food was good and came up fast. The hotel has a nice fitness center and a decent sized outdoor pool. Uber to the hotel from the airport was roughly $33. (Cons) ◇Mall and restaurants are about a mile out. ◇Wi-Fi was not complimentary ~$13/day slow and drops often. ◇ Give yourself some more time during the meeting rush hours as the elevators are on the slow side, jam packed, and may stop on every floor.

Due to several scheduling mishaps, I ended up at this Westin last minute and I was so pleasantly surprised. The facilities are amazing, the view was gorgeous, lovely mineral salt swimming pool (none of that nasty chlorine). I will absolutely highly recommend.

The location is great for this Westin. Views are top notch. Customer service is excellent. The room I was in was nice and clean although it was slightly cramped. Everything is nice in this hotel but the elevators. They look old and worn out and smell of urine and that took away from the whole experience for me. If it weren't for the elevators they would definitely deserve 5 stars.

Extremely ghetto, very unprofessional and rude customer service or lack there of. Terrible experience and all I did was check in. I haven’t even seen the room yet and I’m ready to just leave. I will never ever stay at this dump again! Update: I checked out today and I have to say I’m going to change my 1 star to 3 stars. The women at the front desk were much more helpful and professional. I really appreciated the the service they gave me. The hotel was very busy and the elevators were very very slow. But it had nice views and the kids had a great time in the pool. I perfer the Westin downtown but I probably would stay here again despite my initial impression.

I was excited to stay at the Westin but please read on… it goes down hill Stayed there for two nights over the weekend Friday and Saturday June 29 to attend a wedding. The wedding was great, the food was amazing at the wedding but the hotel room was average, our room was not cleaned. We checked in Friday and checked out Sunday, so someone should have cleaned our room Saturday right? (at less all the other hotels I have stayed at clean rooms daily & I have stayed at several hotels). Room wise It's like a holiday inn (minus the daily cleaing) with a great zip code. I have been to much better hotels. I was disappointed, may be my expectations for the Westin hotels were too high. Would I recommend it? No, not to my family and friends, but if you are attending an event hosted at the Westin, well?

What can I say? I contacted the front desk manager to let him know my husband and I was celebrating our 6 year anniversary and we were on a budget. When we got to our room, there was champagne and strawberries waiting on us. The room was beyond clean, the breakfast was great, the customer service was great as well. I loved the sectional couch because it was sooooo comfortable. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I really enjoyed my visit.

The Westin, formally the Doubletree, is a well run hotel that has long been among the better hotels in town. The catering and conference services are solid and the rooms have elegant views. A shuttle runs regularly to the near by train station. Service is solid. Worth noting is that their kitchen will meet a wide variety of dietary needs.

Stayed here on two separate occasions and will not stay a third. The building itself is beautiful with enough self parking and the restaurant is good with nice staff. The rooms are nice but the walls are paper thin and the doors are heavy metal! You will hear the people next door to you talk or doing other “activities” like they are in the room with you. The noise levels also includes the people in the hallway and all doors as they slam shut. I tried an end room by the stair case the second time I stayed and even that was not safe from the noise or the door slams. It’s great at night when no one is up but otherwise it’s not a relaxing place to get rest for work or personal stays.

Gave my room away even after I prepaid… I booked a specific room with just one accommodation of having a soaker tub. I spoke with the staff and booked directly with them over the phone and was promised several times along with an email confirmation of a king size lake view bed room. I live 4 hours away and needed to travel to this hotel for a business trip and the only thing I wanted to do was get to my room after a very long day and soak in tub as I worked all day on my feet and drove 4 hours afterwards. I get to check in only to find out my room has been given away even though I prepaid the full amount. I ONLY booked this hotel for that one amenity the only thing I looked forward too. I would have went some where else had I known they didn’t have my room available. In addition to that when I booked over the phone I was told the latest I could check out was 3PM, the next day I leave for business just to be told by receptionist that the hotel was in — 6% and I had to check out at 12PM and all late check outs were canceled. I don’t work within the hospitality sector so I’m not sure why that information was even shared with me. This was yet another huge inconvenience as my husband traveled with me and had to leave earlier than expected. The staff did not care to accommodate or offer a reimbursement, worst experience ever and I will never book with this hotel again. This was my first and last time staying with any Starwood/SPG hotel.

One of the best hotels where I've been. The rooms are comfortable and functional with double bed very comfortable, desk and a beautiful view. The hotel features a gym, business center, bar, cafe (Starbucks) and a restaurant with delicious food. In addition, they have shuttle service to go anywhere in a 2 mile radius. The staff all areas was incredibly friendly. I recommend it highly.

Location is good, about 15-20 minutes from most things not including the traffic. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was ok, not the best for what I was expecting of a 4 star hotel. Cracks in bathtub tile and toilet paper holder kept coming apart. Also bathroom is pretty small. Window in room could have used a good cleaning on the outside, it was covered in pollen. Tried to use the phone for room service but constantly had busy tone.

Beautiful hotels! My boyfriend and I love the Westin chain. Very clean, quick room service, borrow brand new new balance gear for just $5. Love this location. Will be back!

For $200 a night I was extremely disappointed in the room, and the fact that nothing is included. You have to pay for the Wi-Fi! The room is no different than a Hotel that cost $80 a night. In my opinion the Hotel is overrated and not worth its money. We will not be wasting our money staying here again.

The manager there was not helpful at all. They gave me a king bed when I request a double bed. He never apologized to me not once he said there was nothing he can do when I booked through 3rd party. But they are sure happy to take my money even I did not stay in that hotel.

Great staff and decor! Nestled in an area that was very close to major highways, yet in it's own quite enclave. Rooms are beautifully appointed with tons of outlets for charging your devices (a big issue in a lot of hotels). Self parking is free on the weekends which was another major plus. Otherwise it would have been $28 for the 2 days. Will definitely return!

The cuartod are not very large as others in Westin see other cities, but I liked it a lot.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we expected to be greeted more kindly, especially considering this was our honeymoon and we had just became married less than 3 hours prior to arriving. The belhops were very nice. But, the young lady at the front desk was rude, very hasty, uninterested and dry. She was more interested in our identification and proof of payment versus providing A+ customer service. We ordered room service one night and the food was delivered lukewarm, borderline cold. HOWEVER, the gentleman who answered the phone for the room service was extremely pleasant, upbeat and warm. We also expected for the pool and/or jacuzzi to be located on site so we were sad that this wasn’t the case. There was also no continental breakfast included. We anticipated more from The Westin, considering it to be a 4/5 star hotel resort.

Staff was extremely helpful, room was impeccably clean, the room service was great… I could go on and on. I can't recall anything that would detract from a positive experience. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for", and that was the case with my stay at this hotel. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Awesome! Just awesome! The employees were helpful, polite and on time to address any concerns. The atmosphere was pleasant. The rooms were clean. The location was perfect! We will definitely stay again on my next visit.

For the amount paid my room could've been more clean! It was hair on tile in the bathroom, dust, windows not cleaned, to crumbs on the floor in the room. However, "eventually" a house person came and vacuumed. Aside from the poor housekeeping, the staff was awesome and the room service was perfect.

The employee Kevin that works in the front desk should be the manager of this facility. He is more helpful than the current manager. I made a reservation a week ago. I checked in Friday, (Jan26). The front desk employee stated that she couldn't find my reservation by my name or confirmation number. She went to the back and spoke to the manager, who told her to tell me to go call the third party where I made The reservation. The manager didn't take the time to come out and talk to me personally. I had to make a brand new reservation, with Kevin. I had no choice becasue I am visiting from out of town! Saturday (Jan27), I called the 3rd party company and they stated that my reservation was there under my last name. She will put in a refund for my reservation I made through them. Third-party had a better customer service than the Westin. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

If I could give it ZERO STARS I would… Almost two years ago I travelled to Atlanta for a couple of days during my kids spring break. After researching hotels we decided on the Westin Perimeter, what a MISTAKE that was. After spending our day at the aquarium and CNN we went back to the hotel. While getting my kids ready for dinner I noticed that the floor of the bathroom was super slick, so we saw one of the cleaning staff outside in the hallway and asked for towels to put down by the tub. We went out to dinner and went to bed, about 4 or 5 am I woke up and walked to use the bathroom, I slipped as I was getting up from the toilet as water had run down from the shower curtain onto the side of the toilet, that's all I remember. I was awaken by my husband who heard a moan, and realized that I must have hit the floor breaking my font 3 teeth, severely bruising my chin and blacked out from a possible concussion. In great panic my husband started calling hospitals to see if they would be able to take me and if they had a dentist on staff who could help. After many calls my husband was informed that it would be best to take me to an emergency dentist, of course, none of which were available. At no point in time did he consider calling the police because he didn't want to scare the kids, or prolong my pain. He proceeded to call a coworker at 6:00am on a Sunday morning back home in Columbia, SC whose wife is a dentist to see what we could do.

Okay. I've stayed here 3 times. It is nice. I love how clean it is. The rooms are pristine and amazing! They have a really good room service menu, and they have great tea and coffee. They have a good confrence area. I really enjoyed the lobby. I loved the food at Savor, especially for Breakfast. I loved this place! The only thing is, I think the Starbucks should be separated from Savor. Overall, I liked this place.

I'm tired of getting a handicap accessible room with an ugly bathroom. I don't request it. Yet I get it. I came to the Westin because I thought it had nice bathrooms and contemporary rooms. The room is average and the bathroom has an ugly white tub and an ugly bar going across. I've had better at the laquinta inn. Drive 3 hours for this. Not again. Next time I'll go to a nice hotel.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Everyone was very nice and professional. I enjoyed some peace and relaxation. My room was very clean. Would have been nice to have a microwave in my room. The food was wonderful and reasonable.

I really like the Westin brand, and look for it when I travel, but I was somewhat disappointed in the Westin Perimeter. The room was nice — great shower, comfortable bed — but the hotel itself is showing signs of aging. The elevators are scratched and dated, and there was more than one area of the lobby where water was leaking through the ceiling during a rain. The restaurant/bar was fine, but nothing amazing, particularly given the price of drinks. The one standout — which has been a mainstay of the Westin brand in my opinion — was the service. Every single person I spoke to had answers to my questions and a kind and helpful attitude. And you can't pass an employee without getting a smile. Even with the need for some updating, I will stay here again when I'm in the Perimeter area, because the service is excellent.

Good place but apparently they are not prepared for large events in question, their services they offer.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are relatively well kept and overall clean. Had my wedding here in October. Wedding went great minus quite a few billing errors. I'm currently working with the Director to find a reasonable solution that makes everyone happy. Despite the billing issues and overall stress resulting from it (which, to be honest, was quite a lot of stress), I still think these people are good at heart and the hotel is a great value.

Love this hotel. Great location in perimeter. Free self parking and nice suites for gold members. Executive lounge is only for platinum members. Nice breakfast restaurant on the bottom floor and you can go for a walk with a bridge over water with a nice view.

The hotel grounds are very nice. Danielle at reception desk also very nice. The chicken wings at the bar were tasty and relatively inexpensive but some were tiny (smallest I have ever seen). We ordered room service from the late night menu & couldn’t even eat half of it: the club sandwich did not have toasted bread and not cut up at all & the French dip was horrible. Not hot and no AuJus. A man at the front desk said it is because the food is premade (I could figure that out). Don’t expect them to take anything off the bill if you are unsatisfied either. The “heavenly” bed and bath is a joke. It was NOT heavenly at all. The pillows were so flat that my neck is messed up and the bathtub is small. Puzzled about the name “heavenly”. If I stayed there again I would bring my own pillows and not order any food after 8pm.

Absolutely perfect. Everyone was curious, polite, helpful. Even the waitresses would help one another if they saw someone seating themselves and that waitress was busy. Awesome and refreshing.

Beautiful modern styled hotel right across from an Arby's and a Publix Supermarket in the heart of Sandy springs right off of the 285 North perimeter. Just down the street from lots of shopping and dining. Nice pool and workout facility. Clean streamlined rooms with amazing overhead rain showers. Late night food menu at the hotel.

Clean and up to date. Nice staff. The bar downstairs is roomy and nice. The hotel is well equipped and you won't be disappointed. Good prices too and conveniently located.

Very nice hotel with great service. I stay here often and am never disappointed. It also has easy access to MARTA in case you need to get around town.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The bed was really comfortable and I was able to sleep really well. The hotel staff were all very nice. They have free self parking that isn't far from the front door and some of it is even covered for those hot Georgia summer days. Definitely worth staying here again.

Location is great and service is fantastic. The lobby seems updated but my bed was worn and the pillow top was separating from the mattress. The shower heads are really nice with a rainfall and detachable head. There's a nice water feature but it's poop brown and dreary. Parking is ample and covered which is a great respite from the Georgia heat.

A very classy place and very classy staff. Rooms were clean and we had a nice veiw. Campus was beautiful all the way around with a great pool and gym. Lots to do around. Perfect for business.

Good location if near business you are visiting. Hotel staff very friendly and one of the few Westins with a concierge lounge. House keeping leaves a little to be desired as they don't always do a good job and once even left a used bottle of mouthwash. Good in restaurant was good for a hotel. Giving three stars because as an upper level hotel I expect more but I would have given four or five stars for same experience at a holiday inn.

Very clean and the employees very friendly.

After booking a room, Nice high price, we entered our suite and noticed how the sofa was not very clean or even straightened out. Then the oversize dirty sofa took over almost the whole room and the whole view of the lake. Then we had the oversize dining room and chairs which took over the rest of the room. There was no place to sit in front of the large window and look at the lake and enjoy. There was dirt and trash between the cushions of the sofa too. Bad choice for us.

Clean rooma, comfortable beds and a nice staff. We got a deal on Hotwire so I felt like we got away with a steal.

Great area, business section. Beautiful scenic grounds. Athletic complex access. Clearly the weekend spot for weddings, bar mitzvahs, etc. Main lobby areas are as expected and rooms are just avg. Nice but average. Service was fantastic.

Didnt get the king size bed I was promised, BUT that meant more pillows and blankets to make a sick AF fort. Shower was a lil dirty for a Westin but the body hose was pretty tight.

We enjoyed our recent stay at The Westin. The entire staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and updated. It was within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. And, lastly, the view from our room to lakeside was very nice! We will definitely choose The Westin again for our stay.

We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had the junior suite, upon entering it look and smelled very clean. We had a small fridge behind a cabinet door, mini shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash. There also was a very comfortable robe I enjoyed and the view from our room was nice it over looked their lake. The only con is you have to go all the way to the lobby to use the microwave. OveralI I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Our family stayed here during a quick weekend trip to Atlanta. We arrived extremely late and was greeted warmly at the reservation desk. The hotel was in great condition. It was very clean and welcoming. Since the kids were with us, we got a room with two beds. It was two full beds. This was my only complaint. I and 6'1 and my feet we off the bed. The bed was very comfortable though. The people there were very nice and helpful.

Really lovely hotel with great modern styling, and pleasant staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, nice toiletries, but the walls are super thin, so it's easy to hear your neighbors getting freaky at 5:00am.

Very nice hotel! Didn't stay, was there for a three day seminar. All staff I came into contact with were professional and polite. Parking was good, and access was easy from GA 400. Only complaints are minor — non responsive soap dispensers in the bathrooms and the chairs in the meeting room were incredibly uncomfortable.

Located in the swankier business-y area, near some good restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, room was very clean and well furnished. Sheets were a bit over-starched and made a lot of noise for someone who turns a lot at night.

The location was convenient and the room was clean and spacious with a great view of the city. The service was excellent. We requested a roll away mattress and not only did we get it delivered promptly, we also got a follow up phone from the front desk to make sure we received it and had everything we needed for the night. Our favorite hotel in Atlanta!

My biggest thing when I stay at a hotel is a good nights rest. The beds here were extremely hard and uncomfortable! I tossed and turned all night and woke up with my body hurting all over. Which made my day very hard to get through because I wasn't just really tired but my body hurt all day as well. There was some mold or stains from previous mold in between the tiles and handrail in the shower/tub area. Other than this the staff here was excellent and very friendly! And the hotel otherwose was clean! I probably wouldn't come back unless they have decent beds to sleep in because a good nights rest is very important to me.

My 9 month old daughter and I tagged along my husband on his 5 day business trip. The staff here is amazing, so sweet and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is really good. The room is well kept, modern, and comfy. I loved it!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, right off of a lake. It's a bit out of the way, and the parking is sparse when it's busy, but I didn't really find those to be huge problems. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice (including the cleaning staff). All in all, would probably stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Got an incredible deal from hotwire for $79 a night. So it was by far the best $79 a night hotel of all time. Restaurant was good. Room was luxurious.

The staff were incredible in addressing my family's needs. The hotel manager was one of the best I've ever interacted with and we travel quite a bit. A set of requested towels arrived in record time. Clean. Beautiful.

Choose this hotel for a "makeup" honeymoon after terrible experience with Marriott. Staff were so friendly and can't count how many congratulations over our weekend. Despite size really felt like family not another guest. Beautiful location modern design without sacrifice of breathtaking natural view. Can't go wrong and will be seeing us again soon! Thank you for everything, making our honeymoon better than we could've expected.

My colleague and I had dinner at Savor bar and kitchen inside the Westin in hotel. Excellent service, great food and the atmosphere was nice. Our waitress (Lili) was very attentive. She took her time to explain the menu. We asked her for her recommendation and she recommend the Salomon and Scallops which was excellent. Our experience was Awesome we will be coming back soon.

My company sent over a credit card authorization form on 12/22/14. When I arrived for my stay on 01/19/15, I was told there was no authorization and that I would need to pay out of pocket. I arrived between 10-11 pm. I had no one in my office available to verify our cc authorization. The person at the front desk (who was very nice) told me they would check into it the following day. When I got up to the room I was supposed to stay in, the door was open about 4-5 inches with a sheet stuffed into the door to prop it open. The lights were off in the room. Honestly, it spooked me. I didn't go into the room and instead returned to the front desk and requested a new room which was given to me promptly. The following morning I discovered that the coffee machine in the room would not turn on. I was given a working machine to use for my second morning stay. By the time I checked out on 01/21 the billing issue was finally fixed. The shower has mildew in it and the bath portion looks stained. I had expected much more from a hotel with the name Westin on it.

We requested a king size bed and a bathtub in our suite when we booked to celebrate our anniversary. We got the king size bed, but no bathtub, just a shower. We also noticed that the counters in the suite were dirty from the last person staying there. Coffee creamer, cup rings and old food were not cleaned up, and this was a suite, not just a regular room! When I brought this to the manager's attention he did not care, all he said was "sorry, but in the newer hotels you have to request a handicapped room to get a bathtub with a king size bed. " We should have been notified of this and they should not make us use a room reserved for someone who needs special accommodation. Very disappointed in the hotel overall, the only reason we gave 2 stars is because the bed was very nice.

Mediocre at best. They say heavenly beds. My butt. They are just a little more comfortable then a park bench. For a Westin I expected something softer. The food is blah. Maybe I watch to much food network but the fried green tomatoes were not fresh. You could tell they came from a bag. You get 6 little discs that were completely over fried. But the garnish looked nice. You couldn't eat it but it looked nice. The hummus is something you could buy from a store. Straight out of a tub. You can tell when you are eating freshly made hummus. The wings were good. Not great but goood. The were big but a little dry for my liking. Our bill was 46.00 which after the food cost came out to be a 50% tip. Charged us a delivery fee, service fee, and a 22% room service fee. Seems like a lot of fees. The only reason we ate the food is because my wife was so hungry she was shaking. Now don't get me wrong I know hotel food comes with a price but for a hotel with the Westin name they should have a much higher standard then a Super 8. I mean come on Frozen fried green tomatoes. I would not recommend staying here.

This was the second time that I stay at this hotel. First time was Ok. Room was clean, but this time the service was really bad. It's not safe! Some one was knock my door at 2:00 am! That was crazy! Really scared me. And staff was not friendly! never come back again.

I don't think there is a better option in Sandy Springs! I've stayed here one night for a conference. Friendly faces, good attitudes, and a clean room made my stay totally worth it (company expense). Lake Rita is a nice view to wake up to. The Starbuck's downstairs was icing on the cake. Enjoy.
