Great place, awesome customer service.

Staying at Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta for 5 nights over Labor Day. Service has been very poor. I understand it is difficult to hire staff with the pandemic but for $350 per night I expect to be able to get a clean towel and blanket when I request them. I have now requested these items 3 times with no response and the lady at the front desk gave me attitude on my last call. This is probably the 5th or 6th time we have stayed here and very likely the last time.

Stayed here August 2017. Came from England to visit Atlanta wanted a hotel close by to the airport. Received great customer service, Rooms not too bad of a size, breakfast was nice, just make sure you get there in plenty of time as we went down 25mins before finishing time and their wasn't a great deal left. Nice to sit outside at night and have a beverage on the balcony. Pool lovely and clean. All in all I would return to this hotel and I would recommend to anyone ☺️

The room is ok, but the walls are terribly thin! It’s almost midnight and I can literally hear the water pipes in the wall like if I was standing next to it. It’s been going on for an hour now. Seriously, terribly loud and unpleasant.

While the staff is helpful and polite the systems are not efficient. The housekeeping staff first came by to ask if we would be needing service, left then came back later, then someone else came by to see if housekeeping had come by and cleaned. Next day, a call came to the room to set up an appointment to change out the phone. She came before the appointment time anyways and didn't replace the phone but removed the phone instead. The lack of proficiency made it less than relaxing and also made it seem like staff was either not competent or not trusted by their bosses to perform their jobs correctly. Either way this is something that needs to be addressed/handled and not in the presence of your guests. Peace and quiet are also important for travelers and guests.

Clean rooms. Decent restaurants nearby. Nice park close by. Breakfast food was not as great as others. Air conditioning kept waking me up throughout the night. That needs to be fixed.

Hotel was clean and the service was excellent. Upscale and very nice. Will definitely come back to stay again.

I never write reviews but after staying there for a business trip I have to say we received the absolute best service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility was exceptionally clean and very nice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks!

I had two nights booked at this hotel. The first night, I was told they were overbooked and sent us to a different hotel for the night. Then we had to transfer back here for the night and they did not pay for our cab back here which was stupid since it was their fault we even needed a cab. Then they “upgraded” us to a corner room in which the bathroom door gets stuck and someone has to let you out from the other side. The room we were booked in was right next to the street and you can hear traffics all night. Not an upgrade. I will never stay here again.

I honestly have mixed feelings about this location. When we arrived wallpaper was peeling from the wall, the valet service proved to be somewhat mediocre. During checkout, I was asked if there were any problems and I stated that the iron in our room gushed water all over my clothing, to which the clerk responded with "okay, have a nice day". This type of service was not very price worthy. Decent pool, no complimentary breakfast, very small lobby area/bar. Pretty basic hotel for $195 per night. Clean/modern but the view was of the parking deck. Overall, a sad experience for the price, when there are other hotels that provide better service and accommodations.

UPDATE: Melissa Turner, GM called me she was direct, transparent, and honest with me about the situation and I really appreciated that. They also showed a nice gesture by sending me a bottle of wine, card, and dessert in the hotel I ended up having to go to… which was showing nice effort. Next time maybe I will get to stay! —————- Thanks for walking me as a Globalist just because you oversold rooms during a busy week when most hotels are sold out. I hope you feel good about making some extra cash just so you can piss off your most loyal members. Also don’t appreciate giving me the run around giving me a fake reason for how my room got flooded but not letting me see the room. I have a meeting to get to in 5 hours, thanks for wasting an hour of my time trying to get me a transportation to my new hotel.

This hotel is all flash and no substance. The check in staff are great and the entrance is very pretty. It maybe be close to downtown but other than that this hotel is the definition of mediocre. Sub par pool and fitness center. No hot tub, cracked paint in the rooms, beyond slow Wi-Fi and awful parking options. The pay option for both the valet which is 33$! a night and self park are both on the top floor of the parking garage which is not covered and you must carry your luggage down a flight of stairs before getting the elevator. Also if you mind housekeeping knocking on your door starting at 8:30, mold in your room or the clanging pipes, this is your place. Really one of the least impressive Hyatt properties I've been to in a long while. If you have other options, take them.

Stayed in the presidential suite. Views were Incredible, room was HUGE and fantastic, Master bathroom was amazing (marble shower and HUGE marble tub) with a TV embedded in the mirror. 1/2 bath near the entrance was quite convenient. Gorgeous artwork, modern/classy feel, hidden bar. The food was excellent. Wish I had time to try the indoor, saltwater pool but had to roll out for work.

The service was great — greeted with smiles at the door, kindness, and quick response. Precisely the level of service you expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel itself was beautifully kept, very modern in feel, and very clean. Bathrooms are a solid size, not huge, but feels roomy. The rooms are small, and some of the modernistic furniture gives it a smaller feeling. But this shouldn't be a problem for the average traveler. Certainly feels luxurious despite the size constraints. Location is pretty good, uber distance from most things, but not quite walking distance from the fun of downtown or Georgia tech. It meets all expectations for a 4 star but does not exceed them.

Fantastic hotel, extremely comfortable, clean, and spacious room. Conveniently located close to a MARTA station. Welcoming, helpful, and very competent staff. The hotel gym was great too, very well equipped. I really enjoyed my stay!

Horrible. I came here Thanks Giving 2017. Checkin guy with foreign accent was rude. I had to wait for him to get off the phone with another guest complaining but he did offer to upgrade my room supposedly to a suite. Yet all the rooms online looked the same except the suite with the tub. So I knew instantly the "upgrade" wasn't much, I went with the flow since there was no additional charge. Upon entering the room I smelled light whiffs of marijuana. There were stains on the sofa. The floors weren't vacuumed thoroughly. I went to turn on the heat as it was late November and cold but the heat would NOT stay on. I realized they literally have a motion detector or some sort of energy saving monitor on their heating systems. How frugal is that? In a 4 star hotel? I got better heat at Motel 6. I called and complained. They sent the maintenance guy, another foreigner to come to my room and play around with the thermostat for 3 minutes only to tell me that's this is as warm as it's going to get. I had put the temperature to 80° hoping it would heat up but even at 80° it still felt like 56° degrees. I was cold the entire time I stayed there. Every other hotel nearby was booked up. So I stayed. They charge too much to bill themselves as "luxury" or "modern" when they don't even let their guests dictate their own heat in their room. They basically save money on heat at the cost of the customer's comfort.

Great location and busy but friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious which made for a great value. Walking distance to a lot of great shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to all of the events we were going to. I would stay here again.

Great location. Booked 12 rooms for a wedding and everyone was pleased. Front desk assistance was great and the best valets in Midtown so helpful.

We had a Great time at the Hyatt, it was very nice and clean. The Staff was also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Location is perfect. Lobby is very nice and the staff was attentive (valet spoke Spanish which was useful for a friend of mine). Rooms are decent. Bathroom is very modern and clean, but there was some exposed wiring behind the bed and the bathroom door didn't close. They let me have late check-out though!

Great location. Great view. Great staff. Great room. Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Gardens are about three blocks away.

It wasn't up to Hyatt standards, specifically the front desk. Not welcoming, friendly or helpful. One of the valet guys was extremely nice and offered his raincoat so I don't get soaked running to the neighborhood bakery. He made up for the poor customer service at the front desk. Remember, the people who work there are the face of the hotel so you should spend extra care in training them and making sure they are as welcoming as possible.

Small property but rooms are adequately large. Located exactly next to Margaret Mitchell's home. Lots of eating options around South City Kitchen is a highly recommended eatery within walking distance… as is the Fox Theatre… Well appointed but just short of luxurious…

Great hotel with nice staff, however the design and amount of staff could be better. The sink design in the rooms is terrible and the ADA room was a disaster of a design for the bathroom. The elevators take forever, and they understaff the restaurant (it's empty because you have no greeter or servers to be seen). The facility is beautiful and the staff you do meet are fabulous. Owners need to make some changes.

It's conveniently located near the MARTA Midtown train station and is also a short walk from the Flying Biscuit which is a great place to grab breakfast. The saltwater pool was just the right temperature. It's long enough for swimming laps and shallow enough on both ends for small children. There aren't many convenience stores in the area, but Amazon Prime Now orders can be delivered with no issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that they don't offer rollaway beds, and the circle drive can get a little congested. It may be best to meet a ride share on the lower level.

The parking garage had us turned around. It’s the worst parking garage I’ve ever seen! Can’t even go out where we came in! By the time we found our way into the hotel we were already not happy, and the person who checked us in wasn’t overly friendly. And what was worse was that when we finally got our room there was someone else’s stuff was in the room! Thank goodness there were no people in there! So we went back downstairs, had to wait in line again, and she didn’t even apologize! How do they give two people the same room! And this is supposedly a 4 star hotel? No. Not worth it. I’ve been in a lot nicer rooms for a lot less money. The room was small and ordinary. Never again.

Staff was warm and welcoming, and the room was spotless. Great bed too! Parking overnight was reasonable and convenient ($20). Walkable to plenty of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed my stay here. Nice clean rooms. I would advise working directly with the hotel staff for booking. Had a small hiccup with the customer service line. Hotel staff did their best to resolve it.

Great location, but disappointed with some of the staff, they had not knowledge about restaurant with happy hours neither were able to recommend any place nearby. The place was extremely noisy! Definitely will no recommend this place to anyone, nor will stay there ever.

Plenty of space and clean rooms. House keeping did a great job of keeping the place clean. Concierge and room service was good. Only comment is that the bathrooms could use an exhaust fan.

So far so good. Gym is better than average hotel gym. Salt water pool looks nice. Friendly staff. Surprisingly quiet. Large parking garage for $20 per night. Location is amazing!

Great location, in the heart of Midtown. Nice clean room, staff was very attentive to my needs. Celebrated Atlanta's Gay Pride 2017 in style! Thank you to the Hyatt Midtown and their staff for supporting the LGBT Community! We should remember that we are all GOD'S children!

Was nicer and posher than what I was expecting. From the moment the valets take your car and all the way to the reception, the staff is really attentive and courteous. The location is prime midtown and has lots of nearby attractions at walking distance. Rooms are nice and comfortable but the attention to details impressive.

This is like any other Hyatt it's very nice and clean. The staff here is friendly and very cool. The location is great not much shopping near but a lot of good food in the area. If you like tacos walk around the corner to Rreal Taco. You won't regret it.

We went here because it was the only hotel we hadn't stayed in for Music Midtown. Honestly, I don't know why they rate this as a 4-star hotel. It's not that nice on the inside. The service isn't great. The room service stops at 10pm (no overnight dining). There isn't a convenience/gift shop in the hotel nor a real snack/drink bar. They do have a restaurant but that also closes at 10pm… aside from the bar which closes at midnight. The room is ok. The one we stayed in, the shower drain was broken and so was the coffee maker. The bed was lacking a true comforter. Only thick sheets were covers. If you want to stay in an upscale hotel, choose the Loews or the W. You'll have a better experience. The rooms are priced better anyways.

Friendly service, accommodated my super early arrival and had a room available. Location was convenient to the offices I was visiting and had plenty of great places to eat nearby. Room was clean. Had a fine stay.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend. I chose this hotel primarily because of its location. You can walk to many restaurants and bars. The property has a nice modern appearance and the valet entrance was quick. Check-in required a wait of 30 minutes while a room was prepared. It was a minor inconvenience that was offset with a couple free drinks at the bar. And that was about as good as it got. The elevator smelled like marijuana. It could have been a patron, but later that evening we ordered some bottled water to the room and the man who brought it also smelled of marijuana so I can only assume some of the staff likes to party while on the job. The people in the room next door were loud from around 11pm until 2am. The staff apologized to us for the noise but did nothing to stop it. I am sure that the things we experienced could have been isolated incidents, but I will probably not go back. There are just too many other places to stay that have the same location and amenities.

The hotel is in a great location. It is beautiful without being pretentious. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was super soft, the bathroom very large, and the walls were thick enough that we never heard neighboring guests. We visited the bar at night and had such a great time with the bartenders. They were hilarious and very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

I loved the room and room service. Clean and fresh smelling bedding is always a plus! The only negative is the caucasian gentleman that was aggressively using a racial slur in the main lobby of your hotel. No one attempted to diffuse the situation and I and my young step daughter quickly exited before the situation escalated any further. It definitely placed a damper on an otherwise amazing visit.

The service was great. The facility was very nice. Our room was also nice, but there were a couple details that could use some attention. A piece of moulding was missing from the closet door and the sliding door to the restroom made a loud screech when closing. Also there was and intermittent electrical sound every twenty to thirty minutes. It was short and the a/c drowned it out farely well. The staff was great and we would stay again.

Really nice hotel. They have a nice gym on basement level which has free water and towels. Pool is nothing special. Lobby is huge and has a lot of great seating all around. Room was nicely updated with a great view. I had no complaints in my 5 night stay. Very happy all around and the staff was nice and accommodating.

Located in the midtown, the hotel is very close to the Piedmont park and local bars and restaurants, as well as Margaret Mitchell House. I am happy with hotel's valet parking service, however $28/day is a bit pricey. The room is modern and maintained clean but lacks excitement. Free bottled water was not provided on my second day's stay. Overall, this hotel seems to cater to business travelers.

I really liked this hotel. Beautiful rooms, great free Wi-Fi. The only downside is the parking situation. You have to pay to park in the public lot next door to the hotel and drive up to the 9th floor of the structure. It was a little inconvenient.

The location is pretty awesome, it's walkable from alot of restaurants and bars. The only down fall is the fire station is underneath one side of the hotel and it's quite a busy station so it gets pretty noisy quickly. Other then that the bar is great and so is the hotel staff.

Nice clean rooms. You can hook an HDMI input to the tv, which is nice. Had to wait a bit for a room to become available, but that wasn't a problem.

Great location. Walkable to the park and many different bars and restaurants. The amenities and staff were wonderful. We had a billing error that was immediately taken care of. We will definitely be staying here for our next visit.

Arrived late (1am) and left early (7am) but slept soundly in the spacious, comfortable bed and particularly liked the light, clean, modern bathroom with a large shower.

Not impressed. Could give it 2.5 stars as it was just an average experience at best. The hotel had no parking, but a parking garage was next door. $20 a night. No direction/signs on what to do for parking. We ended up parking on a very inconvenient floor — — the elevator didn't go to the top, and walked the wrong direction. Rooms were decent. Nothing to get excited about… and needed to be dusted. The key reader on our door went out half way through our vacation. Not great walls for sound. Little things like that, that just annoyed me.

The hotel is slightly out of shape. The room was twice without towels after clean up. The cordless desk phone did not work. The clock was not set and I could not set it. But the front desk extremely nice and fixed the issues as I raised them. The hotel has a great location near a few pubs and the High Museum of Art. It is a block from the Marta train line from Atlanta airport.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel had a overall good feel to it. Definitely would recommend.

We went to the Hyatt Atlanta Midtown hotel on a Tuesday night while visiting Ikea. The hotel and the rooms were very nice and clean. The the staff was friendly and helpful. They even had good recommendations for restraunts within walking distance. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice hotel. The parking garage next door was a bit of a hassle. I'd suggest checking your parking options prior to arrival, but this was probably an isolated incident. The hotel amenity spaces were really nice, especially since it rained all weekend. Breakfast buffet was above average. Staff everywhere was perfect.

Ok hotel just not a four star hotel service was decent rooms had screws coming out unable to lock bathroom toilet paper holder falling out of wall not very clean.

We were two couples. We got there rather late in the evening. Front desk staff, Murphy, was able to give us rooms on the same floor, although only on the 2nd floor and at opposite ends on the floor. Not a problem. The rooms were clean, had everything we needed. Although It didn't appear as though the rooms were vacuumed daily as the same peanut shell I had dropped on day one remained for our entire visit. The pool was clean but extremely cold, too cold to remain in it for any amount of time. The good thing about that is there was nobody else there. There seemed to be a shortage of towels at the pool as well, one call and someone came with them. The staff had an acceptable amount of knowledge about the area and restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay, comfortable waiting area, attentive staff.

Horrible! Do not stay here. Took my wife to the hotel for a nice mothers day get away. Fire alarm went off at 3am, woke my pregnant wife. We complained at the front desk, they could have cared less. Claimed someone was smoking in the room so the whole hotel was awakened. When we left, the parking attendants had hit something with the front bumper of our Tahoe. We filled out a report, and now they are refusing to pay for it and claim they didn't do it. Don't stay here, horrible.

Great walking distance from everything. The hotel is nice, but for a 4-Star hotel there is no doorman and no one to greet you on the inside. Decor is nice. The restaurant on the left is also nice, but watch your change. Gave the woman bartender a twenty for two five dollar drinks and got nine dollars back — after I had to come back and ask for my change. Just gave her another dollar to make up the rest of the tip, but either she needs to be more careful or you do. Male bartender made a great Old Fashioned — go see him.

The Hotel is nicely decorated and the amenities are nice. However, I think the value was way overpriced. I could've had the same experience at a Courtyard or Springhill Suites.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel for a NIN concert. We love Atlanta and especially Midtown and we wanted to book something that would be within walking distance of some good restaurants. This hotel was perfect for it. Things like Cafe Intermezzo, The Flying Biscuit and Taco Mac (just to name a very few) were all about a block away. There was a Caribou Coffee, Vortex and Joe's on Juniper all very, very close, too. Oh and you're really close to Piedmont Park and a Publix as well as Regions and Wells Fargo. The rooms were very clean and the beds were just right. They were a little firmer than I thought we would like, but it turns out we ended up missing their beds once we got home. The king size was massive. We had a corner room with a city view and I loved every bit of it. We were on a lower floor, so we did more people watching than getting views of the city on a larger scale, but it was still really cool. I don't remember hearing other guests, and there was room directly next to ours. The shower was clean (standing only) and we never had a problem with the hot water. The service was very nice all around. We didn't order room service, but any time I called down with a question, they seemed more than happy to help. The valet attendants were really nice and did a great job. They loaded and unloaded very quickly. They pulled the car around very quickly, too. They were never rude and always smiled.

Fork and Juniper in the lobby of the Midtown Hyatt is amazing. The food is awesome and reasonably priced, offering a variety of options and the brunch favorite Farm Table buffet. They have themed meals like Tuesday Burger Night, which offers a gourmet burger, fries and a cocktail for $13. The drinks are crafted by some of the best bartenders I've seen in Atlanta at reasonable prices. A whisky Old Fashion'd is $7 at fork. It has great lighting, uniquely curated music and live DJ's for weekend brunch and select nights. Recently renovated the building looks amazing and they valet park for free when you eat. Check out Fork, you will be happy you did so.

I stayed at this hotel three weeks ago and was physically attacked on hotel property, while the night manager and valet attendants stood by and watched. 3 adult men who are Hyatt employees watched me get attacked on hotel property and neither offered assistance nor called the police. To add insult to injury, after the assailant was pulled away, the night manager began yelling at me instead of calling the police or asking if I was ok. In addition, after the encounter, I could hear the valet attendants and night manager making fun of me on the other side of the entrance. All of this was caught on tape by the Hyatt security cameras. The next morning, the day manager apologized. While the apology was appreciated, the whole situation was inexcusable and I will never stay at a Hyatt again! I advise that others beware.

What a great stay I had. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. They offer free Wi-Fi and the elevators require a key for security. The hotel is conveniently located in Midtown — — within walking distance to Piedmont Park and many other restaurants and shops. The room was large and the hotel was recently renovated. Very nice choice! The restaurant in the lobby also makes some great cocktails.
