They clean your room every day and are nice people.

When I arrived at the hotel there was no one available to assist me in checking in. There were two of us in the check-in area. No lobby with seating. I used my cellphone to call the hotel, then someone FINALLY came out to assist us. After I entered the room, it looked as if it had not been cleaned since the last occupant. The beds were poorly made, there were stains in the sink, and used soap in the shower. I called to the desk and asked if they had a nicer room and they gave me another room. The second room was not that much better. There was a strange smell, there was a large soil on the comforter, there was a stain in the sink that looks a lot like blood. The sheets were LESS THAN WHITE, and it just didn't look clean. The next day I noticed that the beds were not made and the towels had not been changed. The towels I used were still on the floor, and there was NO SOAP. When I went down to the desk to get some, I was told that they didn't have soap. There were two people behind the desk and a person on the customers side of the desk (in security uniform) who all found it entertaining that I was attempting to get better customer service. They all laughed. I used the toilet and it didn't flush after I tried numerous times. They did fix that. The light was flickering in the bathroom. They fixed that too. Still the beds have not been made, no fresh towel service, AND There are NUMEROUS HANGERS OUT on the sidewalk in front of the property.

It is an ok place to live. Pretty quiet. The staff is awesome.

Homeless surround the property at night. Security is present and polite. Clean rooms. If this the best you can afford maybe you shouldn't come to Atlanta.

Got stuck staying here one night and it was absolutely horrible. Yes it’s a budget motel but it’s about as bad as it gets. There was semen all over our bed and the woman at the front desk got an attitude when I asked for fresh bedding and then it took hours to get it after I went back a second time. As soon as we arrived, we were approached by very shady looking people and offered hard drugs. The walls were paper thin and people were loud and obnoxious through all hours of the night. Needless to say, we didn’t get any sleep. The only thing that made it better than sleeping in the car was the fact that we got to shower. Over all, completely unacceptable. The place should be shut down.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. 3 pillows on bed with no pillow cases. Got hassled by a homeless man inside the gates trying to get food. Pictures online look nothing like the actual place. Absolute waste of money. We walked In and turned around and left. Do not feel safe at all.

I am a Resource and Referral Specialist looking to collaborate with different businesses and learn their true sincerity and compassion for their clients. I am bringing my business from California but This is what. I dealt with at the Budgetel Inn… Checkout staff disrespectful. Management the heavy set light skinned lady could not read my ID and tell the difference from Florida and Alabama. All information totally not mine at all. The helper behind the desk told or asked me why do I want or need copies of my information or what does it matter what is on the receipt as long as my name was on there. Very disrespectful rude Black people for no reason. They even threatened to call security on me because I wanted them to fix my personal information. 3 times, and wanted copies of my information mind you they never could find the form I signed. They told me to talk to GM on Friday. I will talk to the general manager on Friday because I am not comfortable with what has transpired if that doesn't work corporate is next. This doesn't even include the benefit of the doubts for other situations. I believe my credit card is or was trying to be stolen. One never knows who walks into their doors good customer service should always be a priority not who had the highest voice to scare a customer away. Thank you be blessed.

Not a place to stay with a family. Not a safe environment.

I was there and there was nothing I stole I liked.

Not recommend at all. There is no rubbish can in the bathroom and the towels they provided seems to be not cleaned up thoroughly. Also, no landline phone for calling front desk. The sift in the basin is gone. Also, be aware of the surrounding！No offense though, I don't like being stared even I was at two blocks away. Little kitchen and quilts on bed: You can see stains clearly.

NEVER STAY HERE! This was a horrible place to stay. The rooms were run down & dirty. There were low lifes hanging around outside the front of the hotel 24+7. They gave me coffee but never got me a coffee maker. The walls were thin as paper & I could hear the guy on the other side snoring all night. When I checked out & requested a receipt (as this was a business expense) the people at the front desk refused to give me one & told me my receipt was my credit card charge. Terrible rooms, terrible service & horrible location.

Used condom behind bed. 2 beds but only one had pillows. No toilet paper, power was off on our last night. Cable didn't work. Would never come back.

The worst hotel I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of cheap hotels/ motels. Got to the place in the middle of the night — homeless people all around the place, and pretty sure in the hotel as well. Hotel had broken windows, broken cars all around, garbage all over. During the check-in there was a guy there arguing that he didn’t like his room that he was staying at, so the girl at the checkin desk told him she’ll give him a different room, and assigned his room to me! The room was on the first floor of the hotel with entrance from the parking lot. I was told to park in front of my room so I could keep a watch on my car. Pretty sure there was a drug deal going on in front of my room so I didn’t even leave my car — called hotwire and told them there is no way I’m gonna stay at that place — I’d rather sleep in the car. Thankfully got a full refund. Haven’t seen the room so can’t comment on that, but the outside of it was enough to run away — far away from that place! Stay away!

A place to rest comfortable,

This is a very budge friend place. I had a good time here the rooms where clean however the shower was very slippery and the floors needed mopped. Most convenient thing was the small kitchenette with single cooking burner.

Practically available cooking facilities were just a microwave and a fridge. No kettle, no pan, no cup, no dish, no cutlery, no washing sponge, and so on. Floor was dirty with spots of dried soup or juice or something. Something greasy dripping on kitchen wall. Security was good. Others, such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, shower, worked fine. Convenient location. So I added one star.

I'll start with the bad management for one, reservations was not what I asked for, mined you I reserved it 2months ahead and ended up doing the run around because rooms were not prepared and in disarray. They never came to clean the room not once while I was there for 4 days. Overall the security was great and that's about it… long story short!

They need to upgrade the beds and televisions. I did like the having the kitchenette with stove l, oven, fridge and microwave. The location attracts street walkers and such, but if u don't bother them they won't bother you.

If you grew up in the hood, you'll feel right at home. Not a place to bring the kids. Brothers panhandling outside my 3rd floor room. Felt like the room was going to sink into the ground d every time I moved.

This had to be the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had in my life. My sisters and I flew out from Cleveland to Atlanta for 5 days for vacation and we’re to excited to return home. They originally put us in a room that looked used when got in there the beds looked slept in and the toilet was broken. They switched us to another room which seemed slightly better but the bedding was stained and the floors were dirty. The appliances in the kitchen area didn’t work except the microwave and the refrigerator. In the five days of us being there housekeeping only came to our room once we constantly had to ask for towels toilet paper and trash bags. All of the staff we came in contact with had bad attitudes. We went to the front desk at about 9am on our second day and were told we were on the list for housekeeping but they never came we called Hotwire and the hotel lied on us and said they came to our room and we didn’t answer, extremely false we weren’t able to start our day until late afternoon. We had trash bags piled up on our last day because we had no where else to put them. I’ve stayed in cheap hotels but this was the worst ever. I do not recommend staying here EVER.

You pay for what you get but this wasn't what I was expecting specially paying 90+ after tax, the room smelled like cigs, the bathroom was leaking from the ceiling. I'm just glad the security was nice, the management were able to give me a full refund so I'm happy. Just a waste of my time…

The rooms are clean I haven't seen any signs of bugs or bed bugs. The sheets and towels was clean. And they have security checking every car i. D. That enters there parking lot. Great protection. Thanks Budgeted for a great experience!.

You get what you pay for. It’s very affordable with free Wi-Fi and an in room kitchenette. There is an on duty security guard day and night. The paint is fresh and furniture is doable. Views from fourth floor are beautiful!

I stayed here for almost three months with my husband and one year old daughter. I was six months pregnant when we moved in. We stayed in a single with a kitchen. The place is great for the price. Maintenance is shifty but the maids come every week, security is there to assist with lock outs, and the office is generally pleasant as long as your room is kept clean and drama free.

There were roaches among other things, but overall, I had a great time. I'm grateful to sleep somewhere under a roof and they provided that for me alongside free parking as soon as I arrived. Have a good day!

It's handy to MARTA and inexpensive, and the staff is nice. But it's probably the worst motel I've ever stayed in. My first room smelled of smoke. My second had a chirping smoke detector. The third just had a strobing bathroom light. The phones don't work. Unless you're OK with a pretty urban neighborhood, you won't feel comfortable here.

In 00000000 Cleaning, the room does not look bad but should improve.

I could clearly see the place was under renovation, which was fine but should have been mentioned on site when I booked… my room was mostly clean, someone's clothes were left in a drawer. I could see it was freshly painted, no hangers though… at night there were people just hanging around in the hallways, didn't look like guest just loiterers. Def lots of homeless and druggies around the premises, they didn't bother us but just around, weird and creepy … despite all the people just hanging around noise was minimal I was able to sleep peacefully. I read there was security but I didn't see any. If there was why not tell the stragglers to leave the premises as they create an unpleasant environment for guest? The place was close to everything we needed… I wouldn't stay there again though. I'd rather pay a ill more to feel safe.

The heat worked, the staff were nice, and the bed was comfortable. Floor was really dirty, parts of the walls and ceiling were coming apart and walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors say and do. Bare bones, not exactly cozy, but you get what you pay for.

Great security and office personnel! Very helpful and kind… No longer do you feel that you are camping on the Savannah alone with wild beast roaming about ready to attack… What a difference New Management can make… The Specialist gives these major improvements… 4 Stars!

Where should I start? The entire front desk staff all have bad attitude issues and should all be fired and replaced. The place has been partially renovated but the hallways / breezeways are filthy and smell like urine. The washing machines and Dryers are brand new but still only half of them are hooked up and usable. The laundry room rarely is clean and the air system is broken/ doesn't work. Rarely will there be a staff member at office that will care to count out quarters for the laundry use. Also the front desk is singling out certain long term guests and manually changing their bill receipts to reflect different rates and charging taxes to permanent residents that the tax codes state that permanent residents do not pay taxes after so many days. This business seems to think they are above the law. Hmmmm.

All I can you if you don't Know is it's Fulton Industrial people! Home of prostitutes, pimps, drug sales, and cheap stuff regardless. The hotels are not off limits to this,. So consider yourself lucky if you get a good room where everything works.

This was not a good hotel. They have a lot they need to improve. They also have roaches.

Not all that bad, but to each their own. No problems save for the occasional too loud neighbor. They do have security at night that does a great job.

Mediocre accommodations at best. One room I stayed in had a fridge that didn’t work. In the next room they put me in the rug was so filthy just walking across the room made my socks black. They never answer the phone at the front desk and I’m starting to think the girl who works there is Houdini with how fast she disappears around the property when you need something. Some of the security is alright but some of them don’t even remember who’s been there and hassles the wrong people. Wi-Fi was spotty but the cable was okay.

Prepare for your random wake up call at 3am! Every night there's always something that will wake you up wether it's a guest or something from the streets. And when it comes to hotel guest making a distraction the hotel staff have no apology for this sort of action. So be warned apart from that getting to places is very simple to get to.

We arrived here in the evening and our room was ready and very clean. We checked in with no trouble at all. Despite other reviews yes there are homeless people just like in every other big city but they were not begging for money and they didn't even bother us. This is a great cheap place to stay and convient to midtown Atlanta and great shopping. There is even a public only 2 blocks away.

Under new management with Budgetel Inn and Suites and the remodeled rooms are nice and close to downtown. Carpets have been ripped out, all new mattresses and linens. The entire area is changing (there are luxury apartments and a Publix Market 1-3 blocks away). Give this place another year and it will be a great extended stay inn. Even new restaurants and bars opening nearby. Staying here for a conference and while it's still changing and definitely low frills not the nightmare it once was. Have stayed in far scarier hotels in NYC.

Absolutely crummy. Barely helpful staff, place looks totally murdered in, or where you should absolutely hold your next drug deal. Barely worth being affordable. But to be fair, the rooms were fairly clean, except the shower.

Absolutely horrible! Pulled up and saw people hanging out of their rooms. Even with security it was scary to stay here. Room had used blankets that had marker marks on it. Bathroom toilet paper holder was broken off the sink. Tiny shower with dirt all on the floor. Had to rewash my feet leaving the shower to get my clothes off the bed. Had huge COCKROACHES outside of room. Little babies crawling on the floor of the bathroom. Completely disappointed and grossed out!

Admittedly, it was being remodeled, and it's close to the aquarium and downtown. But that's about it. Very sparse room. Hole in the shower patched with… something. Literally right next door to a homeless shelter ("Have your TB cards ready" sign! ). Homeless people vagrants and panhandlers everywhere. We walked to dinner, realized our mistake and left after an hour, continuing on to Alabama. Seriously sketchy place. Glad I only lost $61.

My sister just checked in to the motel last night and couldn't sleep. She was completely freaked out at the amount of cockroaches in her room. Yes, IN her room. That is unacceptable and a reflection of what must be a bigger problem. A few roaches don't just show up in a room without there being an infestation on the premises. Where is your moral compass? I am sure there are a few health code regulations broken here to say the least. clean up your act!

They are a rip off. They do anything to keep your deposit. Don't go there and someone got shot right in front of my room. You also might get robbed because it's people hanging out all times of the night.

Just run (away)! We got there and we didn't even check-in because looking at the building and at the reception was enough! The outside is very run down and the entrance was dirty and smelling. One person was complaining about his room: the light and the fun were not working… Definitely not a good first impression! The area is disgusting and not safe: the street in front of the inn smells like piss and there are all kind of homeless living there. The inn has a police officer as a 24hrs guard… so if they need such security, probably there's a good reason… By the way, they refused to give us our money back, bad management.

It's ok. Not amazing. Probably won't stay again. The surrounding area not amazing. No real complaints other wise.

Was clean for the most part. Was thankful to the staff for checking us in over the phone, as we would not be able to get to hotel until after the front desk closed for the evening. Security that was working let us into our room and was very helpful.

Ok, just to start, those pictures on their webpage are false, the place is disgusting, I understand that for the price you dont get anything fancy but at least should be clean. The smell was so strong we had to leave and lose the money we paid. The pillows were yellow like never got wash before and the carper sticky and covered of stains of all colors. Garbage everywhere outside the rooms. WE GOT IT! Is cheap! But al least Clean!

They are the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. The pictures online are a total misrepresentation of the rooms and what they offer on site. They didn't even have towels for us. Thank God I packed my own. No soap, shampoo or anything. It was literally just a place to sleep. I can't even rate it, they don't have negative stars. Pay the extra money to go ANYWHERE else. Never again.

Do not even think of staying here. Scary place. People hanging outside of the rooms, homeless shelter right across the street. Security guard 24/7. I can't believe that we got fooled like this.

This place is infested with roaches, bed bugs, rats, thieving, lying staff and mass illegal activity. Not my cross to bare at the end of the day. I would rather sleep in my vehicle then waste money in this filth even as a last resort.

Great place if you want to be on an episode of cops atlanta. Right next door to the homless shelter hookers and drug dealers outside on the side walk. I would recommend getting your carry license for a handgun before booking. I spotted a member of the atlanta twerk team while sitting at the stop light. Extremely classy place great for a honeymoon or family birthday party. Room includes used condoms.

Well… You get what you pay for. The area is convenient for if you want to be staying in downtown Atlanta for cheap, but it is definitely a motel. Great for cheap/poor college students, and those trying to save money. Probably not so great for families, children, people with standards. Make sure you request a room close to the front office so that you can actually access the Wi-Fi. There is "security" on property, potentially to ward off any of the homeless people who might wander over from the homeless shelter across the street (not kidding). My group never felt particularly in danger, although the first night left us wary. The room was decently clean, although I would suggest against inspecting anything too closely, should cleanliness bother you too much. No bugs. Fresh sheets and towels. Working/hot shower with good water pressure. Some units come with a working kitchenette (stove top, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, sink). You can likely get a price match directly from the front office itself if you call beforehand and tell them what rates you find online.

Zero stars. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in by a land slide. I stayed here because it was less than a mile from the music festival I was attending. I was aware it was a lower end hotel but it's no excuse for being completely unsanitary. Stains on the walls, ceiling bed, sheets, holes in sheets, sticky floors and surfaced and terrible oder. I don't even know how that establishment passes health code. Our key didn't work 3 times and the receptionist was rude when we told her that the room we finally were able to get in was completely disgusting. The rough area didn't bother me so much as the lack of upkeep and how completely disgusting the hotel was. It was literally a crack house.

Was the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. It was completely dirty from sheets to the carpet and ceiling. The smell of the rooms were atrocious. I went and bout sheets, and air freshener and cleaning supplies. The hotel was out of towels and cups. The new clerk was the most helpful, she was trying. The lady that was suppose to be helping/training her was short with customer. Was to busy talking on her cellphone and watching TV to do her job. It may be a lower in hotel BUT that doesn't give you the right to deprive guests of a great stay. Treat other how you want to be treated. This hotel needs to do better from the non existent house keeping to the front desk. That was ridiculous, if it wouldn't have been so hot I would have slept in my truck. Do better or close and fire everybody!

This place is in a very rough neighbourhood, literally next to field with homeless people. We were advised not to walk outside the motel as it would not be safe. It seems most of the guests live at Savannah suites. And There's an armed guard on-site who tried to keep the peace. The rooms are broken, filthy and you will not feel safe staying here. Do not go here.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! The place is in a horrrrrrribbbbbbbbble neighborhood by some homeless shelter. The place next to the "hotel" has barb wire on the fence because it is in such a bad neighborhood. The room smelled like mold. The bathroom had used soap (did not put new soap left old soap), the sheets on the bed were not changed and had urine stains and we had to sleep with towels on the bed because we felt the bed was disgusting and dirty. DO NOT go here not a place for kids or anybody! Not worth at all the price we paid. : (

I felt very unsafe, and the room was absolutely filthy. First of all, the "hotel" (actually barely a motel) borders an empty lot and a homeless shelter, so there are a couple dozen people to wade through to get to the motel, and I was harassed and cat called several times just trying to make it to the office, and this was in the middle of the day. I can't imagine how uncomfortable or unsafe it would feel coming back in the dark from the conference I was attending downtown. The room itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all in quite some time. There were splatters of various liquids on the walls and mirrors, cigarette burn holes on the comforter, and what appeared to be years of smudges on the doors and door handles, and something that was maybe nail polish spilled all over the carpet. Further, I overheard the clerk in the office telling a fellow guest that he could go ahead and smoke in his non-smoking room because they just spray it with something afterwards. I stayed all of an hour, while I tried to sort out an alternate place to stay, and they said they could only refund me 2 of 3 nights, since I had already checked in. Yet, 4 days later, they have still not refunded the other 2 nights and are not returning my calls. I wouldn't stay here, even if it was free. It is just not worth any amount of money for the discomfort and feeling unsafe.

Scary surrounding and a cheap motel style.

Unsafe, unclean, and unmaintained. The door latch to the room swings back and forth till you can see it. The sheets on the first room look to have blood on them, but the front desk was nice enough to move us to another room with sheets that where only dirty. Though both rooms did have mini fridges both were dirrty and froze over, one wouldn't even close. Do not stay here.

This is the most horrible place ever! the rooms are nasty as hell! was not informed that it was located by a dam homeless shelter! on the site they made the dam rooms look nice but for here and the rooms look a hot ass mess… smh… this is sad! me and my husband anniversary weekend and we get a suck ass room in a suck ass area! never ever rent a room here! plz don't! this place needs to be condemed! and customer service was bad! the witch was not friendly! just awful! awful! I want my dam 139.99 back for this bullshit! yes i'm piss! very pissed.

Wild highly recommend not going here. Disgusting! Hair all over walls, bed, fridge… people getting arrested in parking lot. People screaming in their rooms fighting. Just overall did not feel safe or comfortable even being in the room for more than a minute and they still charge for the entire night. Horrible.

First time in Atlanta worse experience ever No room service Manager rude Security didnt care who went in or out although they made you stop at the entrance every time you came in Horrible beds we had to change our rooms since our bed had wholes in it The only reason we stayed is because it was valentines weekend and everything else was bookded.

. The front desk, security, beds, and rooms were grade A for the monies. I been to better with less class, service, and more dirt. Great location! City life just be aware of your surroundings. Toilet a little slow… OCD I carry it all, slippers, sprays, blanket but that's for all of them! Kasim Reed shame on you and the homeless situation. I have fed them from my own pocket!

Filled with roaches and after I paid $35 for a gate key the dumb manager said he would give me the money back after I checked out but then he lied and said there's nothing he can do about it and tricked me in giving him the key. Total BS o wouldn't recommend staying here at all. Full of bad lying workers and management! Plus they lied about the free Wi-Fi too the Wi-Fi hardly works around the whole building only in the office.

Don't ever think about renting any place in Alanta downtown even one night if you want to be safe! 10 minutes after parking, 2 black guys came around my car (when I was already in the hotel room. ) I have to watch every couple minute because of the strange sound. Then when I quickly took my shower, my car was broke into, the trunk was unable to close anymore, even worse, they flat my back tire. Police can't help. I did my best to move my car into the nearest gas station with the hope for help, another black guy on the street offered for help, I was unnoticed until one girl in the station whispered me that guy had his knife behind his jacket and he almost went after me when I open the car front door. Then he realized more people was watching him, then he ran away. First time in downtown Atlanta, GA. Horrible experience!

The only thing I liked about it was the air conditioning. Other than that, it was roach infested when we first got there. The phone never worked. And their rules makes you feel as if you have no rights, even though you are paying. You can't have boxes and black garbage bags and you can't have your own blankets and you can't have visitors past 9 pm… they went into my room without my permission and complained to me that it wasn't up to their standards and told me I had to go. The manager is very disrespectful and talks to people any type of way. You are much better off being in a shelter than staying and spending one dime at this place. People smoke weed in the open and didn't care that kids were around. The whole placed smelled of weed. Pure disrespectful and terrible stay.

Their main office closes at night, so we could't check in when we arrived after our long drive. I can't blame them, I wouldn't want to stay open at night in that neighborhood anyways! When I called to tweak our reservations I was met with an attitude twice. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else! The only thing nice I can say about this place was that the parking lot security lady was nice. Fortunately we were able to cancel, and received a partial refund.

Manager at front desk very arigent and rude stayed ther for a week but wouldnt renew cause of his high class attitude on a roach infested room. He is rude not acomidating and needs training on service the other lady was sweet still did her job but with a smile and since of understanding and well mannered as he was confrintational and not well recived.

It was a nice stay ill go back and stay again if the price is right.

I never sleep under the sheets when I stay at hotel this inexpensive but I'd say I slept well. Friendly and help you if you need it. Okay place.
