My daughter's 10th birthday celebration VIG AG package. Perfect! Had a blast! They LOVED the lady that checked them in yesterday! She made them feel really special! And I also like the fact that I was able to stand next to her to capture photos of my girls. The only thing I would change is the choices in the restaurant for lunch and dinner options. You really need more choices. However, the breakfast as always was excellent!

Great atmosphere inside. Rooms looked great. Bartender is a Penguins fan but he was good at his job (just kidding). Great bar staff. And there were indoor and outdoor pools which was great after it got too cold outside.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel with all of the amenities. Friendly, efficient staff. Exactly what you'd expect from a Marriott. Breakfast buffet was terrific if a bit overpriced. They were also catering to a little girl's birthday with a special package they offer while I was there; they had booster stairs pulled to a reception window with everything decorated using an American Girl theme and treated each little girl signing in there like a princess.

Very nice clean Hotel! The employees are real nice and friendly always speak. I really enjoy myself there for my birthday. Thanks to my hubby❤ pool and hot tub inside.

We stayed in the American Girl Suite! The welcoming of the VIG was exceptional! The room was clean and well decorated. Our sleep was interrupted because the top mattress kept shifting causing my daughter to almost fall twice before I figured out what was happening! As a result, I did not get much sleep. When I tried to push the mattress back in place, the entire bed started moving. During checkout I mentioned this to the employee and was told that something magical was happening in your room! I was disappointed that no one asked about the welfare of my daughter. The breakfast was delicious and we loved that the chef made specialty breakfast items such as the Mickey Mouse pancakes.

We purchased the American Girl package. The entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. The hotel staff was great. They were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included in our package was great. They had a precious check in for each of the girls. They received some goodies. Then they had a movie in the room and got cookies. They loved all the pink in the room! The girls had a blast. It was anything extravagant, but it was perfect for the girls! I would definitely recommend.

The hotel was lovely. The bar was hopping every night. I enjoyed the food in the bar. I am very upset that I was charged for use of water bottles in my room that I did not use and no one from Marriott will call me back. You only get voicemail when you get to finance. I'll look to put my loyalty with Hilton in the future.

This hotel is not handicapped friendly when it come to staying overnight. I booked my reservation and stated I needed a handicapped equipped room with 2 beds. I get there and the room has the walk-in bathroom for wheelchair access. I was glad about that. But it had 1 King bed. I called them to let them know that I needed 2 beds because I do have someone that assists me in doing tasks. They said they had another room that is handicapped accessible with 2 beds. I get to that room and I narrowly made it through the door with my wheelchair. The bathroom was not wheelchair accessible. I had to have assistance getting in the bathroom, because I have a hard time walking alone. The bathroom had a regular tub with no sitting ledge or chair. This made for a complicated stay. The hotel just went through a major renovation. I guess ensuring that ALL guests are accommodated was missed. That's ashamed.

I attend to a Bar Mitzvah. This hotel is easy to see from the road and it looked amazing. Very high end hotel with a beautiful lobby. The staff was helpful and the event reception was amazing.

Most things were fairly comfortable in the meeting halls. The climate was always comfortable, not too hot or cold. The chairs are comfortable. However, the tables were not comfortable. Under every single table, they put some stretchy material around and between the legs. With that stuff, there is nowhere for a normal human being to put their legs. Almost everybody I talked to would, at some point, complain about this stuff. I'm not sure if they thought it looked nicer or had some other purpose, but no matter what their intentions, that stuff was awfully annoying. Just let the tables show their legs. No one cares what they look like. It only matter if the tops of the tables are flat and level.

The staff is very welcoming. The hotel has an inviting atmosphere and contemporary feel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

MY daughters and I planned for months for this trip. We were surprising my granddaughters with the American Girl package. We arrived on Friday night for our stay (we reserved 2 rooms) and after waiting for about 10 minutes it was our turn to check in. The gentleman who checked us in was amazing. He made my granddaughters feel so special. We went to our rooms which were decked out in pink and once again the girls were in awe. Saturday we got up early and went down for an amazing breakfast. This was the end of amazing. We spent the day out at the American Girl Doll store and did the whole Mall shopping thing. Returned to the hotel early afternoon to rest before going out to dinner. We went to dinner but on returning to the hotel this time there was no parking available. We saw many teens in prom attire walking up to the hotel. There was a sign directing us to overflow parking which was quite a hike for us and my granddaughters. When we entered the lobby I approached the front desk to verify that where we had parked was indeed the correct area since it was a parking area for another business. The response I received was “ yes if that is what the sign out front says”.
While I found this to be a totally unacceptable response and it angered me, I let it go since my granddaughters were there.

It's a little out of the way for activities in downtown Atlanta, but it's a nice hotel. Newly renovated. No complaints other than a lack of fan in the bathroom.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible. The Front Desk staff was so welcoming and accommodating and even took the time to interact with our children. Our room was very clean and had current/modern decor. The entire hotel was clean and every single staff member was exceptionally friendly. The location is great and was very accessible. We will definitely be repeat guests. Highly recommended!

Good place, nice rooms, free parking. Good restaurant and bar but concierge lounge needs an upgrade on their food (it was salad night with tuna fish and curry chicken salads — crackers and a poor attempt at cooking tomato, and zucchini — all raw). Cheese plate was cheap cheeses. Grounds are nice. Just need a upgrade on lounge. Rooms are cold but temp won't go up (set to 73, stays at 70-71F)

Nice and comfy, great bar and service for a hotel bar, nice pool and gym. Floors are oddly long on one side though so can lead to long walks to the elevator. Good conference center.

It's a very good place to stay. I have stayed in quite a few Marriotts, and this is a nice one. The staff has been very friendly, particularly in the restaurant. Very large televisions in each room with HBO and many other channels to choose from. I was very happy with the cleanliness of my room and the cleanliness of the entire facility If you are looking for a safe and clean place to stay if in this area then this is a place that will fit the bill.

Hotel is nice. Good was not that great. The breakfast is over priced. The food for the conventions was very good; however the group dinner was not organized and The service was bad. Safe nice place but I would rather have more bang for my buck. Oh there is a car rental place here which is convienent. Rooms were great. No complaints.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. This full service Marriott is a treat for the every day business traveler. If you travel with family, they will enjoy the large pool, amenities and the free shuttles to surrounding areas. I enjoy the concierge lounge on the top floor. Nancy does a wonderfull job to make people feel like home.

They would get NEGATIVE 10 STARS if I could give that rating! NEVER STAY AT AMY MARRIOTT! The rooms are dark, and the mirror in the bathroom was so far away that my wife had to climb onto the counter, over the sink, to put her makeup on. The showers have a little water pressure, but the sinks have no water pressure! Parking is insufficient! We came back from a dinner party at around midnight, and there was literally one 1 spot at the furthest end. I probably could have parked in someone else's lot and would have been closer to the hotel! We were part of a group of reservations, and they could (would) not accommodate. They even lost the 2 room reservation of the host, who made the reservations! The manager's, Denise, response was "Well, what do you want me to do? " Good old "southern hospitality" or corporate responsibility — where did you go! I have been meaning to get in touch with the president of Marriott, but have had more important things to deal with! NEVER STAY AT AMY MARRIOTT!

The hotels remodeling looks very nice… my room was overlooking the back side of the hotel and all I could see and hear was the roof and the loud heaters. I stay in many hotels and this one is losing its touch. The rooms seem to have the thinnest walls where you can hear everything. I wish a corporate rep would stay there and they could see or perhaps hear what I am talking about. Any member of the Marriott is welcome to call me and I will explain in further detail. The hot wings are delicious and room service was polite. I Think I was spoiled from the Marriott suites at sand key the week before which I feel is always one of the best places to stay… try their tomahawk steak at that particular Marriott… outstanding service … it's always about service and food for me. Thanks.

Great place in the area and may be the only full-service hotel around. It is always quiet and comfortable and easy to get a burger and a beer at the bar. The only bad thing about the bar is when it is cold outside it is usually freezing in the bar area.

Hotel has huge lobby with chandeliers and couches with a bar area and Starbucks coffee offer as well as a huge dining room for breakfast which is served buffet style with a variety of meats eggs made to order omelettes… whatever you're in the mood for they have. There's also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool hotel was very clean and quiet. Hotel also offers American girl experience which every young girl should try… great experience.

Blows. Check-in was extremely awkward, restaurant is slammed — in room amenities and perks here for Platinum Elite are even less than what is given for Hampton Inn (hilton) gold members!
**Update: If you are an adult and think that you are going to get some relaxing time in the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, forget about it — completely full of children. Also, if you expect to do laundry in the laundry room and want some quarters in order to conduct that task, you can forget about that as well since the hotel has no quarters whatsoever.
**Update: the restaurant continues to be remarkably understaffed — don't expect service.
**Update: if you want to watch television in your room for a few minutes before you go to sleep, you can forget about that as well since the cable is currently out. How is this hotel in business?

Great location, good service.

BE VERY careful when booking at Marriott. They told me at the time of booking we had for sure a connecting rooms. When I arrived the staff could not have been ruder and offered nothing for their mistake. We have a 2 year old and would not have booked a hotel with them if during the registration process they told me mt connecting rooms was a "request". The front desk did nothing, I finally asked for a discount and got a very small one. I will not be returning to a Marriott any time soon. Plenty of better options nearby.

I have to start out by saying, Courtney King is amazing and we LOVED working with her. She is the only reason this review is getting more than one star. Everyone else we came in contact with was absolutely dreadful. We had our wedding block here for our guests and regretted it. My dad and I came in on Thursday morning, November 2nd, to drop the hotel bags that we were leaving in our guests' rooms. When we walked in we noticed there were renovations taking up the entire lobby bar. This wouldn't have been an issue if we had been informed, but walking into that chaos the day our guests were arriving made us really worried. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because we knew our guests would enjoy the bar. When we addressed it with the Manager, he honestly could not have cared less. I hate that I'm forgetting his name right now because we believe he deserves some accountability. We are not hard customers to please, but we felt like this was common sense… to inform the guests that the whole bar and lounge area was out of service. When we asked the manager about when it was going to be finished, he said "I dunno. But we have this area back here as a bar instead. " (It was a back room with a fold out table as the bar). Listen, we understand that the progress of the renovations is not in this manager's control… but he could have been a little bit more apologetic about it! He treated us like it was "no big deal" and made us feel dumb for even asking about it.

The Alpharetta Marriott deserves a 5-star rating. The bed was comfortable, my TV was rather large offering Netflix as an option. The bathroom was larger than average and I had two closets. I stayed for 3 nights and took them up on their offer of not having housekeeping for a day in exchange for extra Marriott points for my stay. The meeting rooms were very comfortable and staff very pleasant. I will return.

The hotel was undergoing some renovations and looked to have had some completed recently. The lobby and conference rooms were nice and the food was good. We had to use the indoor pool restrooms as the main restrooms were closed. The indoor pool had a strong chlorine smell. There is also an outdoor pool.

We stayed here for one night and our stay was very pleasant. The previous comments from a previous customer about unwanted critters was not experienced by us, we were on the sixth floor. The room was warm and accommodating and the staff could not have been nicer. Even though the first floor is under renovation, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I recommend them to everyone as well.

Great experience! Came for a family's wedding. We can be a disorganized and sometimes rambunctious bunch, but the staff was extremely accommodating, polite, and friendly. The rooms and ballroom for the wedding were all immaculate. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Under construction. I needed to pump because I an a lactating mother and I had no place to go. Parking was great. Everyone was friendly.

Love this hotel. Definitely my favorite in the area. Tends to sell out extremely quickly and can be pricey, but it's a great location. It's a full service hotel with a couple restaurants, bar, store and much more. Rooms are awesome, staff extremely polite and friendly, and warm welcoming feel when you walk in.

Room was decent, but hotel service was pretty awful. I prepaid my stay, but was charged for an extra night when I first checked in. The hotel profusely apologized, but the charge cleared my credit card and it's still in the process of reversing, so it carried over into another billing cycle because that was almost a month ago. Most hotels charge nothing until you check out. They said this was a "System error, " but that front desk person clearly didn't understand that I had already pre-paid, even though I am a rewards member who used the app. It should not still be on my credit card. We asked the front desk multiple times the first day and again the second day for extra pillows, which they said they would put in our room — nope. Never happened. Definitely will stay somewhere else in Alpharetta when visiting family next time. Facilities were decent, but staff needs a LOT of work.

The Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. Breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay again.

Very good facility for meetings & nice hotel. Rooms are good. Restaurant & bar on site including a Starbucks coffee shop (not as good as stand alone stores but still good). Large variety of setups for meeting rooms. Great snacks/beverages for breaks at meetings and nice lunch buffet during meetings available.

Pleasant staff. Very modern. Smart TV in room to connect to internet services. Can get pretty busy.

Working for Mercedes Benz we stay at Marriott hotels. This one needed some upgrades. The tub was old and re-glazed. I had hair in the tub and one very long hair on the bath towel in the tub. I was shocked at this location since I am sure they have allot of business. I am unsure this property will be used again.

Nice hotel, a little pricy I thought. But over all nice room, comfortable bed I slept well. TV could have been bigger. Doors and keycards seem a little dated, could use an upgrade in that area maybe. Room was quiet, wedding was going on and thunderstorm, didn't hear anything and slept great!

The Alpharetta Marriott ALWAYS makes you feel at home! We recently stayed at this property for 3 nights & 4 days from March 17th-20th. We were in town for the 6th Annual Suwanee Beer Fest. From the time we checked in, too the time we checked out, EVERYONE made us feel at home! The staff was exceptional on many different levels. Especially the staff at the hotel restaurant Vidalia's. We ate breakfast there each morning of our stay, GREAT FOOD! Our server Valerie did an awesome job taken care of us. Employees like Valerie, are why we will come back to stay at this Marriott property again. We had the pleasure of meeting some of the management staff at breakfast one morning. Roland and Mark Van Wagenen we're very accommodating as well. Our overall stay was absolutely wonderful. We will be staying here again in the near future. We would HIGHLY recommend anyone to stay at this property when they are visiting Alpharetta area. You'll feel at home!.

For $500 dollars a night, I got a very standard room. Comfortable beds and a friendly staff. Save your money, my experience here was no better, if not worse than many of the $100 dollar a night hotels in the area. I chose this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in town with a hot tub. Unfortunately this was in vain as 20 screaming kids were in the pool and Hot tub for the whole night. The lobby was packed with both a Batmitzvah event and another business event. Thus, the place felt like a Zoo. I decided to order room service, and the food was over-priced (understandable) but not very good. The ice cream I ordered was so badly freezer burnt that it was not edible. Overall, I wouldn't come here again. But recognize my experience could just be unfortunate timing.

It's probably the best place to stay in Alpharetta. Not the fanciest of hotels but the staff is very friendly and rooms are clean.

They were very polite. The room was clean and the decor was very inviting. We also used their indoor pool which was well kept. We had a great time!

Love the rstaurant and service. I have stayed there 12 nights over the last year or two and twice I've been charged for meals where they were comped (or included with concierge)

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff including the front desk and food service people were cordial and top rate. All our needs were taken care with excellence by the Marriott employees. The foam bedding provided for a good night's rest. When the TV wasn't connecting, they had a Johnny on the spot person to immediately get it operational. The Vidalia Restaurant in the hotel was fine dining. My spouse and guest (who said he was a connoisseur or meat loaf), both said it was the best they had ever consumed. (The meatloaf contained three types of meat to give it a great flavor). As for me, I tried the recommended pot pie, which was stuffed with chicken and vegetables and was the best I have ever enjoyed. The morning breakfast is outstanding and a must stop for everyone staying here. Parking is plentiful; location ideal for shopping and enjoying the Alpharetta area. Restaurants, grocery are nearby.

Had a comfortable stay here, I would stay again.

Very old, need remodeling.

One of the company I work for's executive's AMEX was overcharged for my stay so I called to request a copy of the folio. I was told to call back if I did not receive it in 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes, called back, was placed on hold (am still on hold) for 20 minutes now. I see that the copy has been emailed to me, but no one has returned to the phone to end the call.

Standard rooms, nothing special. No mini fridge, no microwave. Can't believe they try to charge you for Wi-Fi, what is this, 2002? $15-18 a day for internet is outrageous, let alone archaic. Only reason I am here is because of a work conference. I will not be staying here again. Spend your money elsewhere, you'll get more for it.

Wow! Who would have thought that profiling still occurred these days — especially at a Marriott! Visited the concierge lounge at the Alpharetta Marriott North (As a Platinum Member no less) and in front of everyone was asked to "prove" that I belonged there because I was in tee shirts and shorts. Disgraceful.

Poor Customer service experience. Rude staff. We had a confirmed booking and they waited until 11pm when we arrived to tell us they were over booked and couldn't honor our booking.

I have always utilized Marriott hotels but I have to say by far this has got to be the worse as far as customer service. My bill changed three times since the first intitial night there. The Hotel is beautiful but be careful with providing your credit card or debit card they will charge you for items that was originally included in your package and you won't see it until after you check out. My fiance and I paid for a package with breakfast included only later to find out they charged for an extra meal and continue to charge for additional items of which I didn't notice until almost home. I am disappointed with this entire experience and will never utilize THIS hotel again during my stay in Georgia.
