The location is great. Is close to almost everything in the area. The rooms were good size and beds are super comfy. There was a bit of mold in the shower and the towels feel like they are made for kids, super small. Other than that, the guy at the front desk was nice and the pool area is fun too.

It was clean to An extent. But the services weren't great. I had a dog with me so I didn't need them to turn down the room. But they never offered clean towels, coffee, sheets, soap. There was also a cigarette butt on the floor and a very small broken screwdriver. Front desk lady also knew we were staying for 5 days and only programmed our card keys for one night. So when we came back to the hotel at 1130pm next night we had to go to the office to get them reprogrammed. Duh.

Our usual hotel was booked up so we decided to stay here and after reading the reviews I was very skeptical. When we arrived, the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hallway is pretty dim but it wasn't too bad because it's so short. When entering our room, we were pretty surprised because other reviews had mentioned bad smell, stained carpet, etc but we did not encounter these issues. I believe they are in the process of renovating because while our furniture was outdated, the walls, decor, and TV looked new. The bathroom was clean and we had a mirror with lights in it that was very bright and made the bathroom look nice. THERE WERE NO PUBES OR BEDBUGS and I was glad because other posts had mentioned that and I was concerned (I also think they probably weren't pubes. ) Although we never went swimming, the pool looked clean. The free breakfast was basic but good (coffee, juice, cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, oatmeal. ) The eating area is small but there weren't a lot of people so that wasn't a big deal and it was very clean. The only issues we encountered were the little bits of renovation noise and people walking past our room/sliding glass door.

Wyndham hotels are the best they are always renovated and consist of the best staff no matter which one you choose. The howard Johnson is my favorite, the rooms are spacious at every location. The complimentary breakfast is always superb. I never have a problem with my booking at howard johnson and the staff know me by name and face. Go Wyndham.

Place looked very creepy on the outside of the building and then when u go inside the hallways to walk to your room the hallways was very creepy looking all the lights in the hallway was lit up but the hallways still looked very dark not very good light bulbs they was using creepy walking down a dark long hallway in thr middle of the night feels like I have to run to my room or boogy man going to get me.

We just checked in, but we stay here often. We love it here! I would recommend it if you want a nice, clean room with our paying super high prices. Also, it is just across the bridge from the beach so you aren't stuck paying beach prices. My husband and I will continue to stay here as long as they continue to be open.

As usual a Indian run Patel hotel with issues. Told the day manager my t. V. Had all kinds of colored lines running through it and he said would get it fixed the next day. The following day called front desk to remind them of TV issues and said would switch out today. Got back to the room and same tv. Went to desk and they said what you would expect from a Petel motel, come down tonight and talk directly to Sunny Petel after 1am. Told them you don't have any problems taking the money, fixing a problem is impossible! I assume because I used Wyndom points they put me in the crappie room?

Good place to rest. Very clean and quiet.

This hotel was disgusting! The worst I've ever seen. Walking in you can just tell its rundown, then you see a chair in the room with dark very noticeable stains all over, urine on the toilet seat and worst of all BedBug stains! I didn't actually see the bugs (didn't stick around long enough for that) but the residue was clearly on the mattress all over the sides. Even for a "budget" hotel this was extremely gross and would not recommend to my worst enemy.

My husband and I got here late in the night… we are on a trip and just decided off hand to stay somewhere for the night. So it was the only thing I could find near us that wasn't 200$ or more but it was still 87 and change with tax and everything… when we got to our room. There was urine all over the toilet, cigarette butts all over the deck and what looked like pube hairs on the blanket on the bed when we removed the top cover. We were so tired complaining wasn't on our mind, so we had to grab a sheet blankets and our own pillows from the car and thankfully I carry wipes with me… thankfully we had all that with us to accommodate. But for almost 90$ totally not worth it and completely disgusting… I don't even feel comfortable taking a shower here because I feel like I might catch something if I get in that shower.

Need Update modern furnishings and lighting is dark. But, doable ✌️

The first room we got placed in smelled awful, stains everywhere. Apparently it had been cleaned twice, they had been having problems with it BECAUSE of the smell, and people were complaining, but they were still trying to put people in it. The housekeeper was great and got us a new room. Unfortunately, it smelled bad too but we were tired and just deal with it. My boyfriend kept making fun of me bc he said I picked a roach motel. Close enough… got bit by a bed bug which I left on the counter dead so staff could see and at that point we just decided to leave. I went to the front desk to tell them of the issue and I spoke quietly so as not to embarrass anyone. The front desk guy just said "oh… sorry about that. " Really? I paid for some crappy room and you can't even try to investigate or call an exterminator or SOMETHING? Yeah… last HJ i'm EVER staying at.

We're staying out of necessity and because other hotels are booked. But this placed is filthy. The first room we were given had stains all over the bed. The second that we're in now hasn't been cleaned — the beds are made — but the room is not clean. The bathroom smells like a urinal, the sink has toothepaste in it, and the tub is dirty. There's still food on the nightstand. Need on go on? One star and will NOT recommend this dump to anyone.

Decent place with reasonable rates. Rooms were ok but for the price we didn't expect anything else. Worth an overnight stay for sure.

Nice location. The rooms were well above-average. The staff were very friendly and met expectations. The rooms were nice and clean but needed some professional maintenance. This is an older facility so everything is not brand new but very well kept. I would stay here anytime.

This hotel has great rooms, pool with a machine for handicapped people to help them get in and out of the sbwimmimg pool. Great maid service. Family friendly. 5 minits to Indian river and the local beaches. Overall my stay here was thoroughly enjoyed. Im a happy customer. Close to lots of other places for shopping. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Gre at place for 1person or for the whole family. I loved my stay here. Friendly desk clerk n staff.

The room was clean. The staff went above and beyond to help me. I would stay again.

The location is convenient. Located within walking distance of dinner, drinks, entertainment, and Publix. Rooms are modest but furnished appropriately. The building is showing its age but that isn't as evident in the rooms. Nice accommodation at a reasonable rate.

The rooms were clean, great pool and access. Staff friendly and accommodating. Will absolutely be there again. Most affordable for the area and honored our military with military discount.

We got double queen beds in our room. The room was big and had the pool view. Smelled like smoke and had that nasty rug smell but remember you get what you pay for. We only showed and slept in it. We only used it for 8hrs. Location was great. Close to everything. Service was ok, like I said we only used it for 8hrs. We got there and used the bathroom, showered, slept and left. There was no need to rent a nice room.

The first room we got reeked of smoke, but they moved us to another room and it was very nice and clean. The internet is pretty fast as well. Overall pretty good experience.

Got in very late and was extremely tired. First used bathroom and nasty hair all over the floor. Then went to get in bed and found hairs on pillows. Luckily I brought my own, so threw them off the bed. Then pulled the covers back and hairs all in the bed. Even pull sheet back to look underneath it and hairs on the pad and the mattress. Just extremely Gross. Today had the housekeeping wash it all and came back and pulled it back again and found what looked like a pubic hair! Then I noticed down behind the mattress against the wall, pubic hairs all over the place. Why pay housekeepers is they aren't gonna clean?! I will never stay at a Howard Johnson again and I will tell everyone about this nasty experience. This is probably the nastiest place I've ever seen!

Not bad not the best but not bad.

Poor management, poor housekeeper (no speak English to the point of rude) (terrible housekeeper), poor attitude, very poor breakfast, room has difficult wyfi, no temp control on fridge, keys demagnised, poor soap.

Small, dingy rooms. The smell is terrible — we asked for a new room because our non-smoking room stunk of smoke, only to find that the new room stunk of mold. It's kept mostly clean, although our linens were not replaced once in our three-night stay. Staff at front desk was friendly, but cleaning staff was rude and told us to be patient about having our room cleaned despite the fact that we were just walking down the hall and didn't ask. The continental breakfast is pitiful; nothing is fresh (even the toast is individually wrapped). You get what you pay for, I suppose — I would not recommend to anyone unless there was nothing else available.

Thank you, thankyou, thankyou your hotel saved us we had an emergency at home and needed a hotel for the nite. Not only did you get us a room, at the last minute, but the gentleman at the front desk was kind, curteous, and helpfull. The room was extremly clean and comfortable. The pool area was beau6tifull and I was impressed that you even had a handicap lift to go into the very thoughtfull. Oh and your house keeper vicky was great offered to give us extra towels to use at the pool. Will recomend your establishment to all our out of town guest, the galanti/ vandervort family.

In December I was in florida for a short getway, my wife and I stayed at this hotel and were very pleased with the room and service. We had left our cell phone behind and the manager sunny fedex mailed it to us. We were very happy because we had just got the new phone. There are still honest people in the world, which is nice to come across. We will always stay at this hotel when ever we are in florida. Also we plan to tell all our relatives as well.

Old motel. If you only wanted a roof and bed, it's' OK.

I will stay here a gain very dirty sheet never changed hair in sink an it was so nasty.
