Regency Inn & Suites - Busch Gardens Hotel

The staff was wonderful and provided great customer service. The rooms are pretty nice and I didn't have any problems during my stay. I would revisit this place.

Its a little old and dirty. My room didnt lock and I didnt look like it had been cleaned.

They gave us a room missing a mattress and never fixed the problem. Roaches everywhere. The manager yelled at us because we complained about it.

Nice spot a little bug aint hurt nobody convenient to a lot of other near by businesses.

Nice area believe it or not. Service friendly and amazing. Thia is an old building but clean for the most part nice place to stay few weeks.

The customer service is horrible the receptionist is rude and the manager is rude. I booked a room for a week and they put me in a room under maintenance that should stay vacant. I had no microwave the phone cord was cut the cable didn’t work sheets were dirty with hair and cigarette burns paint and wallpaper peeling big hole in the wall no clean towels light on wall unsafely exposed they told me I can use microwave in the lobby and my shower didn’t work. They told me I had to wait till next day for a room then tried to move me to a room on the 1st floor and not help with moving my belongings plus no elevator. I was told to pump my brakes and I can leave if I can’t move all of me and my bf stuff by myself I’m flying to Cali in the morning my Nd he will be stuck in this dump until the week is up not worth the money they’re charging these are $20-$30 rooms going for $70-80 I also see roaches dust mites and I’ve been itching since day one no security the doors open without needing a key horrible horrible place it’s more clean in the most ghetto hood projects than this place it should be condemned and sold back to Howard and johnson zero stars if that was an option.

The breakfast they serve is danish no real food they have mice and roaches. Nothing works no ice machine they have one washer and dryer. They charge different rates for different people.

Toilet (tank lid missing) over flooded and the manager blamed us Quote one of you didn't put the handle down.

You're better off sleeping in the bushes… less bugs and better company, bed bugs time my daughter myself and my wife up. No heat. They would not move us waited for a Week for them to fix the bed bugs… they never did instead made up a lame reason to not renew us Blessing In disguised. They will never refund or give you a day free. Listen don't stay there it's terribly gross dirty and code enforcement should shut them down. Geez for $70 a Night you would think they could give you decent towels they don't three the towels blankets and sheets need to go to the dumpster. This place was disgusting.

Went there to rent a room the lady at desk was so rude she said id have to wait then she told me I couldn't wait there and id have to leave property… I asked if I could charge phone she yelled no! don't stay there drugs dealers and prostitutes right out front but chasing me off property.

Night shift is great!. Morning shift woman, not so much! The day I paid for the room with my credit card and you took my ID, shoulda been the day you added my name to the room. I just want my stuff with no problems and no police.

Listen every bad comment on here is true. Roaches crowing on the bed. Front desk people are nice. Place is dirty beds have hair in it. Stains on the bed. And look like they were used 4 a trick then turned in. Man one of the worse… it made me pick a star I wanted none. Because 1 puts them on the map.

I didn't want to give this hotel any stars! 9/23/17 2:23pm I asked the worker at the front desk was there any bugs present in the hotel. Also let him know I had a 8 month old baby with me. He replied yes, bedbugs but those room are Shut down and will not to be occupied. I payed for the room for 2 days going against my own judgement. In room 224 I found live and dead roaches crawling on the wall and table. Sheets ripped with a cigarette burn, a dead bug looked like a ant on pillow. In the Bathroom the towels were clearly dirty and ants on the ground. I took the pillows off the bed praying the sheets were clean. Placed my sleeping baby down so I could take a shower. When I got out and put my dress on I sat down on the bed for 2 minutes And seen a small red bug crawling on the bed. I grabbed my baby so fast and everything else with one arm (left the baby's blanket on bed) went out the door didn't even bother to grab the key, get a refund, I drove off! I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. If you have no where to go there are shelters that are cheaper that you can sleep without bugs. The location is rough! When I was leaving there were 3 men in street clothes standing my car actually stopped talking and all watched me. I was afraid for my life. And no I'm not a scary woman I am 190 5'10 and black to scare me something was very wrong with this hotel. Stay away! Please.

Clean room nice tile floor small fridge and microwave in the room. Very soft and comfortable beds. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Close to Busch Gardens but awesomely priced. They even have a free breakfast with juice, coffee, and danishes. Loved it!

Reasonably priced but in one of the worst parts of town. The room was clean, but the building is pretty run down.

The rooms was nasty and dirty, found died cockroaches in the dressers the rooms stunk the Wi-Fi didn't even work. This place was horrible.

Seriously trying to figure out how this place is allowed to still be open! Anyone gave it 5 stars is LYING and probably work for the hotel or on drugs!. This is by far the WORST hotel I've ever been to. Woke up with an Extreme breakout from BEDBUGS! I switch my room 5 times and every room was the same black spots, bugs, and dirty sheets. Sadly for me all the other hotels were booked in Tampa busy weekend. Roaches everywhere! Can't even put food in the fridge, Old moldy carpet with stains, broken doors! Room smelled horrible, dirty fridge, bathroom dingy and dirty with rust stains. I honestly think a lot of drug addicts and homeless people stay here. The area is scary and not safe! Weird creeps walking around late night. I slept with pants and long sleeves and on top of clothes STILL woke up with 20 huge bed bug bumps all over my face arms and legs. Never thought bedbugs was even a real thing. The pain, large bumps and extreme itching for DAYS is not worth it. Your better off sleeping in your car or on the side of the road. TRUST ME! Cheap does sometimes come with a consequence.

The room was nice, no bugs comfy bed. Only issue is every time I stepped outside I was asked if I was a prostitute. So not the best Area.

Roaches and bedbugs they want refund your money or move you to new room. Worst hotel ever.

Located in Tampa Florida, the rooms are ok and the service need some work.

Many crack heads, roaches and I lost a lot of my items there and they have a ignorant maintenance man as well and lets not forget the maids trifling.

Loved it would go everyday of could. There is always someone there to hangout with or talk too. Everything and everyone is right there on hand when you need and want it. Food, shopping, and fun. And the staff is friendly.

Horrible experience parked my car in front because I'm pregnant did not feel like parking all the way in back to pay for a room that was going to literally take me a secoond. This man tells me to move my vehicle once I'm out the car. I asked them if they could back up he said no I asked why not. His response was because I'm a manager. Since when thy give crack heads management positions didn't know a title means you can talk to anybody with no respect. Horrible customer service. On top of that when I do move my car he tells his staff that where sold out clearly they went because I asked if they where or was that his manager he said either or u can't get a room. So now I can't even lay down n relax now I have to be in the hot sun pregnant and all horrible horrible custoner service.

They never cleaned my room. When asked for clean towels they were not able to provide because housekeeping left for the day and they were the only ones with a key.

We are resting sleping and some guy show up to fix something whent we resting why this guys give you a room that is not on good condiccions. And dont live us sleep I will NEVER COME BACK HERE. ; (

It was one of my ugliest experiences, very dirty, smell bad and the service is worst. I left the room and they denied my money back. Don't use their service, real bad. I though they were following the Howard Johnson rules, not even close.

Nice staff and rooms are nice and price is great does need to be treated for roaches in some of the rooms but all in all its a great place.

Used to be Howard Johnson but, many years removed from that. Very Nice, helpful staff but should be a one star. Roaches abound, loud, remote for TV doesn't work. AC barely works. Need a cheap room then this is it just be ready to accept the reasons why it's cheap.
