Had the most amazing Mini vacation mom time to rest, relax and rejuvenate at Arms West. Stayed in J6 and it was beautiful! Everything we needed! Had our groceries delivered so they where there when we arrived. Rented a wagon umbrella cooler and beach chairs all waiting in our lani when we arrived.
The manager Stephen was so great.
I booked through VBRO. But know to call directly next time. As you will then know what unit you will actually receive. Manager accommodated everything I asked for. We are definitely going back year to year to stay there! Thank you for the beautiful place!

Such a great location. We stayed in unit H4. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Exactly as they said 175 steps from the beach. The whole property is very well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing complex in a very convenient location. It is immaculate and on a great shelling beach. The complex has great amenities. All condos have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen.

Good place! But bed was horrible. No support at all. Felt like an air mattress.

We had such an amazing time staying at Sanibel Arms West! The rooms were spectacular! Very beautifully decorated and spacious! Seconds from the beach and minutes away from the rest of the island. We loved every second of our stay there and can't wait to be back!

Excellent service and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and tidy when we arrived. Direct access to the beach, and they provided beach chairs. The pool and gym were great as well.

Just what was needed. Best 4-day vacation we've had in a while. Stayed in furthest unit from the beach and it was still very close. Unit was bigger than expected with two balconies. Close to shops and restaurants. Beach was clean and water was clear (for Sanibel). Great low tide with tons of life. Car is needed or rent bicycles. Will likely stay again.

Loved the condo I stayed in with my family. The beach was literally right behind the complex, which I loved, and if you didn't feel like swimming in the ocean, there was also a pool. Very bike friendly and near other island attractions. Felt very independent, as if the condo was our own, but there was definitely staff available in the nearby office if you needed it. Would stay here again, I had a great experience!

Place is very nice, right at the beach. Service was good too. Stayed in H2. There were a few things that Needed maintenance — but all in all it is a very comfortable place to stay.

Although I’ve had Many excellent experiences at arms Westin the past, this trip I very was very disappointed with the customer service. The dryer in our unit was not heating and we were unable to dry the clothes that we had washed. We did not discover the faulty dryer until 5 pm Saturday and called the office number to be transferred to an after hours answering service. The answering service personnel took down my concerns and advised me someone should be contacting me in a couple hours. That call never happened. In fact, I called the next day several more times to leave messages to have someone call me back with no such luck. The last call personnel finally states that the dryer is not a critical component to the unit and nothing would be done until the next Monday. And unless it’s an AC issue they would not come to service anything over the weekend. Being that we were checking out on Monday, I gave up calling and checked out without any apologies from the staff. I didn’t want to waste my breath at checkout complaining so I just left. So either they seen the complaints and didn’t care, or they never received them from the answering service of arms West. Hope arms west sees this and fixes whatever problems exist with their system so this won’t happen to future guests.

Loved our condo. Been coming to Sanibel for over 10 years. This is our new favorite place to stay!

Recently stayed in unit B8 with my family. Loved it! Very beautiful and clean. Everything was just perfect. Couldn't of chosen a better place to spend quality time with our teenagers. The pool was awesome but most important very clean. The location of the unit we stayed in was a partial ocean view which was very nice and only steps away from the beach. Very happy we chose to stay there and can't wait to go back!

We live the location. The staff is friendly. And the condos are really clean. We come here every year!

We really love Sanibel Arms West. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here. Last year we were in a building that was the furthest from the beach. But it still only took 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Both units that we have stayed in have been very clean and comfortable. There is a pool onsite. The beach is great (I don't think that there is a bad beach at Sanibel — lol). Pricing is competitive with area resorts as well.

A great place to spend a vacation. Reserve early as rooms go fast. It will cost you a little bit more but worth it. Beach front condos and private beach on some premiere south west Florida beach.

Each unit varies wildly on the furniture, style and amenities. Comfortable beds in most units I stay in. Take a inside ground level unit which gives you easy access to the pool and still front door access to bikes, cars and beach. Sat to sat rental is common in condo alike this and arms is no different. Tough because flights for 6 can be $1500 more sat to sat. I'd like to see more flexibility on daily rate so I can take advantage of lower cost flights and get a few more days out here and put that money towards more condo says. Shuffleboard court is fun. Tennis courts too. Typically not busy either. Wish they had more bikes to rent. Sunset beach inn down the way has that and saves me $250 in rental fees.

Great location on an excellent beach. Units are well-appointed. Heated pool and workout room. Inexpensive bike rental and lots of riding possibilities. Stay away in summer when traffic and insects are horrid. Best around Christmas.

Great price for a very clean condo. We are staying for a week and love the beach view/access and the screened pool. The area is well-mannered and the environment is calm and friendly! Many different beach chairs/toys available at all times! Local trash spots for every half condo and Xfinity cable/internet. Very happy with our stay, even in December.

The location is very good. Very comfortable and spacious apartments with everything you need to spend an unforgettable holiday. Perfect for enjoying family with private beach and pool.

My family has a condo here (G4) since the 1970s. We love it here! The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat! Very close to the ocean and the town. The shelling on this beach is the best around! Everyone should come to Sanibel Arms West and stay for the best vacation you will ever have on Sanibel!

My family and I were displaced due to hurricane Irma and had to find another place quickly. Sanibel Arms West had a great discounted rate and we decided to stay there. We rented 3 different condos. When I made my reservation, they told me they were going to put it under my brother-in-law's name to make it easier, no big deal. My brother-in-law decided to add more days to his and another family member's stay. The office then charged MY bank card instead of his, causing my bank account to be overdrawn. They say they refunded the money, but 4 days later and I have yet to see it. After repeated calls the last man I spoke to was very rude, offered no assistance, and tried blaming me for their mistake. After spending the majority of my vacation with a negative bank account and having to borrow money to make it back to Ohio, I will NEVER stay at Sanibel Arms West again. I've never had a bad experience in Sanibel until now. **Update: After returning home and filing a dispute with my bank, I finally got my refund.

LOVE that these condos are right on the beach. The view is spectacular, and it's nice to have the ocean breeze at all times. Other guests/residents are extremely friendly and pleasant to be around. In general, Sanibel is one of the most relaxing places to visit. Cannot wait to come back!

Easy access to the beach, with a very calm sea and warm and clear waters.

We've been coming for about 30 years. The facility is nice and we'll kept, but the people seem to be less nice. The folks in A7 have no concept that other people might be here. They and they're children seem to have one setting: screaming. They all have a constant series of problems that they share loudly with the neighborhood. Lots of profanity and constant stream of vulgarities. Not a place for children or anyone wanting a little quiet. They've really put a damper on our experience at Sanibel Arm's West. They're standing out in the street cursing each other currently… go figure.

We have been coming to Sanibel Island for the past 30 years. Sanibel Arms West is the best place to stay. They are nice condominiums with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with a fold out couch, dining room & kitchen with granite counter tops, plus a washer & dryer, 2 screened in porches (a large one on the front & a smaller one off the Master Bedroom. The Condos are right on the beach, but they also have a large screened in pool & a Sundeck that is not screened. Just a wonderful place to stay.

We have held our family reunion here every summer for the last 8 years at Sanibel Arms West. Over the last 2 or 3 years, all of the units we stay in have been renovated, there is now free Wi-Fi in all the rooms, and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant staff. I would never hesitate to recommend SAW to anyone looking for a tremendous vacation value in SW FLA. Yes, cell reception is non-existent inside the condos but seriously, you're on vacation-put the thing down and have some fun!

I've been coming to Sanibel for most of my life and it's only recently started to get super busy. But SAW was very nice, I loved the shuffle board! Not too loud, very clean, awesome pool area.

For me the only place to stay. The condo's are very clean. Everyone who works here are supper great. They have chairs and beach toys. There swimming pool is clean, the walk to the beach is seconds to the beach. The patios have nice chairs and tables, the patios are screened in never have or will I stay anywhere else on Sanibel Island.

Room C7 is nicely upgraded, open floor plan makes great for larger parties. View is amazing of the ocean, 30 steps away from beach.

Online site was very clear with pictures & descriptions, after hours check in system worked great. Great complex, lots of amenities.

Rooms are clean, not big enough to host any parties. It's great that it's so close to the beach.

My family and I have been coming to Sanibel for about 15 years and Sanibel Arms West has to be my favorite place we've stayed at yet. Everyone is friendly, there is access to the canal for fishing, and the tennis courts are pretty nice too. I would definitely recommend this place to someone visiting Sanibel.

We stayed in A-1 For a week 9/11 through 9/18/2015 Was myself my new husband, My aunt and My Sister. We had a blast everything was awesome except the drier in the unit didnt work they said they would be back the next day to fix it but it didnt get done. All and All It was just a awesome time my older sister had never stayed on the beach and was like a kid in a candy store. My Aunt did some complaining but that was nothing unusual she had to walk a little bit to the beach! LOL I Just want to say all except for the drier WE WAS VERY SATISFIED! I WOULD RATE IT A++++++ Would like to stay again next year …

I can't wait to book again! I have been anxious to make another reservation since January. Unfortunately I have to wait for the family to get the dates in sync. Since our last visit, SAW has left me wanting more. This is a family oriented resort, making vacationing too easy. My cellphone does not get any reception, so I can not communicate with the outside world; just the way I want it. Beach is only a few steps away, down a beautiful wooden board walk. If the beach is not your thing, try the screened in pool. (Best advice: If your not with the kids, try the pool early in the morning. ) Rooms are great; full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, 2 patios. Go fishing in the quiet salt water creek, and grill your catch on their community gas grill. Bring your boat, dock without an additional fee. What are you waiting for, just book it. I guarantee you'll be back. I wish I lived in SAW.

I've been going here since I was 7 and now I'm 17. This place is beautiful and I look forward to going every year! Very well maintenance and very comfortable! I highly recommend Sanibel Arms West to everyone who is looking for a place to stay! Fyi, this is not a hotel and people need to stop complaining about how everything is not "up to date"! It's a just how the owners feel how they want to decorate their condo! There are many to chose from :) I will 've revisting this place in 3 months! I can't wait! :).

Terrible Hotel! Furniture from the 60s, the worst Hotel I`ve ever been. Dirty beds, loud fridge and an very ugly carpet! I strongly recommend to search for an other Hotel.

We have been renting units here at Sanibel Arms West (SAW) for more than 12 years for durations of several days to several weeks. We love Sanibel (the island) and we like this condo complex a lot. SAW is right on the beach (or at least as close as you can get) — just a short walk away. There is lots to do on the islands and, of course, you are just a short car ride away from Cape Coral and just a ton of places. SAW has a very nice heated and screened pool in the center of the complex for a swim. We usually rent bicycles when we come here and the car hardly moves out it's parking place! The condo units here are all the same basic size and arrangement (2 bedrms, 2 baths) but vary in their interior appointments (e. G. Washer and dryer) and some may have just refreshed with new furniture, etc per the desires of the particular unit owner. So we urge any prospective renter to carefully look over the selection on SAW's web site. Our units have always been well prepared for our visit — clean and well equipped. Overall we highly recommend this complex.

We were 11. July to 15. July 2012 in the Sanibel Arms West and inhabited the Condo C7. This is in 1. OG is one of the 4 blocks with sea view. Rarely, we have the sea, a nice stay enjoyed. The equipment of the Apartments and the entire plant are outstanding and, at any time, to recommend. The C7 has a large kitchen with full modern equipment. We have nothing missing. The spacious parents ' bedroom and the children bedroom with 2 separate beds each have a private bathroom. The air conditioning works perfectly and is just right for us Central Europeans are well proportioned. In each room there are also ceiling fans. The Apartments are self-catering set. Purchases can be in one of the well-stocked supermarkets in the village do. This can be reached by car in about 5 or 10 minutes. Throughout the facility there is a free Wi-Fi/WLAN Verorgung — nothing to the movies download but for writing Emails and Blog filling it is always enough. The Biggest, however, is that the Golf course directly in front of the door. The water is gorgeous, some maybe even a bit too warm. For us, it was great. Our girls did not go out of the water. We would like to get back into Sanibel Arms West drive but only in one of the "Beach Front apartments" even if this is a Kostenaufschlag. The view to the sea, by the way to the South/Southeast is gorgeous. Cleanliness and Service were in the entire plant during all this time, without objection, although almost fully booked.
