Great place will be coming back.

Better training in sexually inappropriate behavior of check in clerk and better training of management's problem resolution and courtesy would be my recommendations. Also their privacy practices are lax. They enter the room, without notice, or invitation, even while a minor girl was changing clothes. Knocking, or a simple call from the desk would help!

This place is very poorly managed. It's dirty and broken down. We stayed 4th of July weekend, and while the location and view are amazing, the hotel itself is old, poorly kept up, not clean, and has major maintenance issues. Our last night there, a water leak sprung somewhere above us, soaking our closet, our clothes, and our shoes just after midnight. The carpet was flooded. They gave us a new room, so we moved, but the toilet in the new room was broken. When we went to check out in the morning, the general manager had approved — — get this — — $20 off! For all of that trouble, and only $20 as compensation. It shows the priority of the management to make as much money as possible and hope that people don't check reviews like this. There are plenty of other, much nicer, waterfront options. Pay the extra expense and have a much better experience!

Nice view from the room! The balcony door doesn’t close all the way! Bathroom is a little small…

I love the view of Peace River. It took a few minutes (within reason) to check in because it was busy with a convention close by. Our room was clean and well styled. I always check the mattresses and they were clean, comfortable too. Continental breakfast is decent — bagels, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee and juice — okay choices but in a small room. Oddly, with this being Florida, there is a vent but no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which is likely a reason some reviews mention mold or musty smells. Overall I've seen better (for a much higher price) and a lot worse. For the low price, I was very satisfied with our stay.

Horrible Place is moldy, ignorant workers, dirty and not at all what was promised.

I get there waited 30 minutes to get checked in. With 5 people in line ahead the other manager could have helped check in. Asked for a room with a view of the water got a room looking at parking lot. The room was very clean though. The breakfast was just toast and bagels. Nothing more. The restaurant Hurricane Charlie’s there was very good food but barely had any business the music was a 1 man band probably the owner.

I saw all the bad reviews, but honestly we enjoyed our rooms. We booked this hotel due do the convenience of location. The convention center was in walking distance to the right and fishermens village was only 1 mile walk away to our left. Beautiful sunsets. Nice pool. Friendly staff. The young lady who put out the morning breakfast did an awesome job. A maid chased us down the hall to retun my friends Yeti cup. Than she helped us with our bags into the lobby. We plan to book this hotel next year too.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible customer service! The manager — Trent has not returned a call or answered an email after I left 5 messages from October. Our experience with the front desk employees was awful as they went to call the manager about our disappointment with our rooms and we could hear them talking very poorly about our family. The so called room upgrades they assigned us to had curtains falling off the windows, the carpets had several stains and were very dirty. Housekeeping missed cleaning the rooms 2 out of 3 days and when we asked for just towels to shower with they said they did not have any clean ones. Are you kidding me? Do NOT stay here. I have contact the BBB and will not stop until I get a reply from Management.
