Not terrible. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Possibility the worst place ever. Unaware, made a reservation, as I needed a room for the night. As I pulled into the motel, thought this was something out of my worst nightmare. Run down, funky, meth zombies milling about, the unmistakable aura of desperation and despair. Before I had a chance to walk to the office, a young woman came out to ask me what I wanted. When I told her I had a reservation, so told me there were no vacancies, that the owner does this a lot. I was relieved, yet annoyed that the website not only took my reservation but also my credit card info. She then told me if I was desperate, I could look at "room 19", and pointed to a dark doorway in the far left corner of the property, almost like it was code for something evil. When I asked her what that room was like, she shrugged and told me she'd try to clean it first & would I like to see it. I decided to accept that there were no rooms available and left. By far, the scariest place I've seen outside of my worst nightmare. Feel like I dodged a bullet with this one. Best to stay far, far away from this hell hole. If you doubt this review, just drive by any time of the day or night. Pay close attention to the back of both buildings. You can almost hear the violins from the shower scene in Psycho.

Do NOT believe any of the other reviews here! This is the absolute worst motel I've ever seen. First, I tried to cancel within the first ten minutes of accidently making the room reservation; the wouldn't let me cancel. Got there half an hour later, and the no vacancy sign was up and I had to bang on the door to wake the office people up so I could get my room. First thing I asked was if the room smelled like cigarette smoke since the office smelled of cigarettes — he said no. Got to the room, and it smelled heavily of smoke and I even found ashes not only on the side table but on the bed. There was an actual cigarette in the toilet. I went back asked for new bedding, and they only gave a washed comforter in place of the the covered in cigarette burns. After lying in bed and seeing ashes and dirt in sheets I went back and asked for more sheets, and they didn't want to give them to me because it was "already cleaned" and that I could go ahead and charge a check out (note: it's 3 am). When I finally went to bed, I pulled down the blinds to find that they were broken and heavily molded & dirty. We also had to wear shoes inside the room due to dirt built up on the floor. Not able to take a shower due to how disgusting it looked. I had a hard time even sleeping because of a guy pacing around my car for about two hours. The least of my concerns, but also part of this horrible experience was the amount of noise coming through from outside.

Rooms are clean, staff friendly; pet friendly. Also, free Wi-Fi.

This is honestly the nastiest sh**hole ive ever been to. The guy at the counter was nice, yes. But any comment saying these rooms are clean and organized are obviously doing it for the owners as a favor, if not the employees themselves. There were were more stains on the carpets and walls than a french brothel. The a/c was never on in the room, making it smell like mold and stale cigarettes. There are tiny bugs biting me all over my legs, all I can do is pray they are not bed bugs. Do NOT stay here. Do NOT believe the other comments. I travel the country for a living, going on 4 years. And this is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to.

No-hassle and easy to reserve spacious rooms.

The people there are VERY friendly and understanding of situations as long as you talk to them about it. Francisco and Sam are the nicest people I have met since moving down here and deserve high praise and recognition! Because of them, I would recommend Economy lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay! Keep up the excellent work and attitudes!

My wife and I just checked out of Economy Lodge Silver Springs this morning. Wanted to write this review while everything was still fresh in my mind. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Stefano. He was friendly. He asked us how our stay was and offered us free toiletries on the next visit. The rooms were spotless the entire vacation. They stayed on top of cleaning and kept things organized. Most of the time the parking lot had plenty of space and there were plenty of friendly people outside their rooms as well. We indulged in various activities since there were food stores, bars, and clubs nearby to this lodge's location. We recommend this lodge to anyone in the Silver Springs, FL area.

Economy Lodge Silver Springs had really nice rooms for the low price. I expected it to be low quality since the prices were around $45 a night. I was really surprised to see the rooms so well maintained and as meticulous as they were! Very impressed, keep up the hard work!

Economy Lodge had beautiful scenery and good prices to match! I enjoyed the company of the people residing in the rooms close to me. There were non-smoking sections and smoking. The lodge was divided up nicely. Can't wait to return. Was like a private getaway for me…

We went here recently with low expectations. The prices are such a steal for the amazing quality of this lodge. Pet-friendly, clean, and friendly employees. We were totally blown away! There was free Wi-Fi and many things they offered here. We would surely utilize their services again!

Economy Lodge was a nice decompressing vacation that we all needed in this family. We needed a break from our work and school lives. We came here for about a month and it was like a private getaway for sure. We met a few new friends and exchanged numbers with them. Went for a swim and enjoyed the weather. This is a nice lodge with clean environment and plenty of parking.

Economy Lodge Silver Springs was a lot of fun. We were able to book a room last minute and get a nice room that was not only affordable but clean as well. The staff had better time than what I am used to. They usually yell "Housekeeping" at the worst times and continue to badger you even when you're half dead screaming "Go AWAY! " I didn't have to deal with that here. Would gladly come here again.

We had a good time at this lodge. There was free Wi-Fi, nice people, and convenient stores in the nearby vicinity. This was a relaxing and luxurious stay. Economy Lodge Silver Springs has my families vote!

The hospitality here was above average. The staff was very attentive to cleaning the rooms and they always made sure they checked in to make sure I had everything. I would definitely come here again.

This was a relaxing trip. I took my girlfriend here for 3 weeks. We got a good price for the duration of our stay. I was conveniently able to travel to a nearby Walmart to get some bear essentials so that we could have a comfortable stay. Everything was within our reach, including the staff's assistance if we ever needed it and phone numbers to call if we had problems with maintenance. The room did not give any problems at all. I am accustomed to broken ventilation and lack of hygiene in some hotel/lodge locations. Glad to see this was not the case. I would highly recommend Economy Lodge Silver Springs with confidence.

We went to the Economy Lodge as a family vacation. We even brought our dog Charlie since this place is pet friendly. I'm a web head so I was on my computer most of this trip. My family yelled at me for it, but I still enjoyed myself nonetheless. We liked the availability of the employees and how they were easy to get a hold of if we needed emergency assistance. There was also a Wal-mart we went to a few times for a quick round up of basic food items. Great place to stay for a vacation. We were here for 15 days and enjoyed our time here.
