This was our absolute favorite vacation spot. We just checked out today. We were very sad to learn they were bought and no longer going to be a motel. This was their last weekend!

I've stayed here twice with my kids and will visit again. The place is very laid back with an old Florida feel. It's a little rustic and no frills but to me that's part of its charm!

The manager Mandy was VERY rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter. My daughter had planned her Florida vacation and reserved a room here. When she called to confirm her room she was told that she had to be 21 to reserve the room and she's only 18. This would be important information for booking sites and hotels to provide for future travelers. When my daughter was informed of the age requirement Mandy the Manager stated that "it wasn't her problem" and canceled my daughters reservation, she then hung up on my daughter who was crying and upset as her trip is just days away and she was left out to dry with no room to stay in. Lucky for us DAYS INN has fabulous staff and was able to accommodate our reservation. BOO to Nokomis Inn and Suites and the HORRIBLE manager MANDY.

We stayed here for a week. I thought it was great. Close to beautiful beaches and everything you need near by. Staff was great.

We loved it very comfortable, quite, clean and accommodating. We will be back to enjoy the roomy hammocks and rooms.

Very cozy, quite and comfort. Close to Venise beach and wonderful seaside dining. Fishing close by and deep-sea fishing available. My husband and I absolutely love this little getaway. We will be back.

This place is great! The staff are very friendly. Pet friendly even around the pool, rates are great and only a five minute ride to the beach. Great beach decor with plenty of hammocks around the pool. We will definitely be back!

Terrible place to stay. You get charged $25 a towel for having sand (sand is right outside the door) and dirt on towels from the dirty floors. I was charged $50 for a pillowcase for getting makeup on a pillowcase. Apparently they don't have washing machines, to clean towels and sheets. No housekeeping came to the room for the whole 5 days. Automatically charged my credit card $280 extra for towels, hands towels, wash rags, a pillow cash, and comforter. Never, never stay there! They purposely use everything white so they can charge you for any spot that could have been removed with just washing it. They didn't even have time to wash the stuff before they sent me a bill.

I have to say the staff was great and very pleasant to deal with. My request to move to a room away from the very front of the motel nearest Hgwy 41 was accommodated via a larger room at the rear of the motel away from all the noise. This area of 41 has a posted 45 MPH speed limit and cars, trucks and motorcycles go speeding by at 50-65 MPH all day and night. Beyond the great staff, the rooms here are seriously outdated and lacking in basic supplies one would expect at this price. No iron/ironing board, no clothes closet, not even en suite coffee. Both my rooms were badly in need of fresh paint, new doors and windows and the ceiling fan was so wobbly in one of the rooms it was literally unusable. For the price, I paid I really expected much more. Yes, they have a pool and a nice "beachy vibe" but that hardly makes up for the condition and amenities in comparison to the high price. 3 stars from me (and 2 of them are for the staff).

Wonderful, quaint motel. Owner was so accommodating and friendly. Room was super clean and comfortable. Affordable. Pool was warm and clean. The outside areas have colorful hammocks and a true beach feel. You cannot go wrong here. Great place!

Advertised as “Casey Key chic boutique resort” (website description) – This hotel is in Nokomos (which we knew) and is a casual beach themed MOTEL that indicates it was remodeled in August 2016. The pool area in the middle of the property was small but nicely set up. Our room was confirmed as a Luxurious Sunrise King and though the bathroom and room were nicely tiled, the paint was very scuffed up, the A/C unit old and noisy and the furnishings/linens worn out. The bed platform was painted plywood, which made noise when sitting on or rolling over in. Parking by the rooms is limited and the unsecured overflow lot behind the hotel was not lit at night. At 10 pm on our first night I was startled when I almost stepped on a large fist sized (5 inch) toad in our bathroom — which we removed using wastebaskets. (The managers response via email: “The "toad" I can't be held responsible for a toad entering your guest room, it is Florida and there are lizard, snakes, frogs, toads, bugs and alligators. I'm glad we had 2 waist can so you could catch and release the toad, I'm sure it was just as traumatized as you were. ”). Though the office staff was friendly, housekeeping was non-existent for us during our 3 night stay despite specifically asking for our room to be cleaned multiple times, resulting in our having to go to the office to exchange towels, get coffee packets, empty our own trash, etc.

This place was our home away from home during Irma. Close to Nokomis beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Jimmy Buffet style decor, various room types, washer/dryer, reasonable rates.

Upon checking in, our party of 3 was given a room with a queen bed and pull out couch. The pull out couch mattress was about 2 ft wide and 6 ft long. It was completely worn out and less than 3 inches thick. A memory foam mattress topper would have been more comfortable. The bed also did not have any sheets or pillows. The front desk said they could not find any extra pillows and would not be able to get us any pillows for the night for the pull out bed! We also did not have enough towels in the room for the three in our party. After about 15 minutes of complaining, a room was found with 2 queen beds we were allowed to move to (with 8 pillows in it might I add). Also, the mini fridge in the new room was extremely dirty.

Wonderful getaway! They have a great little gated pool area with beach sand, hammocks, and outdoor grills. We loved our get away here and look forward to doing it again sometime. I'd recommend them to anyone!

This place is getting top dollar from FEMA to help people that lost their homes in Hurricane Irma. Now they are handing out letters to their customer saying that if they don't pay the extra rate of $35 per person that they are no longer welcome at their Resort. B. S. Money hungry people. The manager Mandy or Mindy has no conscience for anybody nor does the owner why would you kick people out that need help when you're getting top dollar from the government and trying to rape them for more money. Honestly somebody needs to turn them in.

Awesome front desk lady with an amazing love for fur babies. Clean room… And ocean feel…

Don't stay here! We had a mirror in our room that was cracked upon arriving, we told 3 different people about this, cleaning ladies and the front desk clerk and they said, no problem they crack all the time. Only to find out they charged me $50 for the mirror.

Not a bad location. Loud ac, sewer smell, bad parking. No cleaning service if two day stay.

Cops here twice in our 4 day stay. We stayed here 3 years ago, but it seems to have gone down hill. Nice pool No ice except in office ONLY for Ice buckets in room. Not even bags to buy. We were rather disappointed this year. Sign is VERY hard to see. Ants little tiny sugar ants had party on bathroom sink. Bathroom window would not close. Look elsewhere. COPS here twice in our 4 day stay should say it all.

Nice quiet get away place. Close enough to drive to the island too. Room is clean, smells fresh, pool is sparkling and host is pleasant.

Such a good place. 1 mile from the beach. So tropical. Such good service. Thanks for always getting me ice office staff. The pool was great and the kids loved it. We had 3 rooms and all were soooo clean.

This motel is more than just a motel. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, the staff is wonderful, makes you feel right at home. Probably the best motel experience ever.

We had an amazing experience with this hotel when we stayed there this weekend for our wedding inn Venice! Management/owners were super friendly and helpful, and made us all feel welcome. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the pool area is nice with the hammocks and tiki area. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be staying again for future visits!

This is a charming little place. Very old Florida in feeling. Very reasonably priced. Brightly painted buildings. (like the buildings on the islands throughout the Caribbean). From small rooms to larger 1 bedroom suites (very clean), flat screen t. V. Updated bathroom with beautiful shower. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Nice pool surrounded by a fence and Areca Palm trees located in the central garden area of the 22 room complex. The hotel staff was awesome to us. BRENT, the G mgr. And Wanda (housekeeping) went that extra step to provide satisfaction to our every request. We are looking forward to visiting again later this summer.

Amazing hotel right off 41. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere with sand and hammocks all around and a pool in the middle. Would definitely recommend.

Good price… Great Beach.

Great small cozy place. Love the beach area and pool area with over a dozen hammocks. The room was large and recently renovated. The staff was friendly and courteous. Even though it was right on highway 41, road noise was almost nonexistent.

I may be premature in rating this place but we just checked in last night & I am sorely disappointed already. When I booked the room I was told there were only 2 rooms left but I was not told that my room had several lanes of extremely loud traffic right outside my window at all hours of the night. Maybe they should have asked if I was ok with that before they sold me on the place? I live in the middle of the woods and while I realize I am in town & it's going to be a bit noisy the traffic made my 1st night a little rough on sleeping and we are here for 4 more nights. I also asked about an ice machine on the property & I was told that I could purchase ice next door because their machine was broken. Are you kidding me? Do I look like I carried a cooler on the plane to save my "purchased" ice? I think Nokomis Inn & Suites should have a tab next door for their customers to get ice & they can pay it. Not being able to have a cocktail in my room on my vacation because there is no way to hold my ice is a huge disappointment. I may update my review at the end of my stay.

The place is cute and quaint except for the beds (hard as a rock) and if you like being treated like a second-class citizen by the lady who runs the front desk. We were chastise and told that the beds were brand new, and that's great if the beds are brand new but not all people like to sleep on extremely hard beds they should be equipped with some type of egg crate or something. We had parked in a designated area for trucks and trailers and the same woman told us she couldn't help us she didn't have a list of people after we were blocked in. Too bad it's a cute place but you're treated nasty.

Loved this hotel so much! Sound-proof brick walls, super clean, beach-themed rooms. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. After booking online, check in/out was the fastest and easiest I have ever experienced. Literally took less than 90 seconds for each. The atmosphere is great, steps from your room you're surrounded by palm trees, sand underfoot, hammocks, … you forget this hotel is on Tamiami Trail. Easy to drive by it, it's tucked back behind palm trees in its own little tropical nook. Only 5 minutes to the beach, I can't get over how great this little hotel is for the price.

This place is terrible. They have changed owners and now don't want to honor guests reservations because they were at a price point they find to low. Sorry, when you bought the business you bought the reservations too.

Being renovated currently-said should be finalized next week. Was in finished room which was great. Pool was awesome-hammocks near pool and sand play area next to pool. Gulf beaches not far.

The staff was very nice they felt like family the pool was sparkling clean the rooms were a decent size very clean! Very good and I Highly recomend staying there! ❤

My husband and I wanted a weekend at the beach and booked a 2 night stay here. The grounds are clean, pool sparkling and rooms were very clean. It's conveniently located to Nokomis beach, and about 20-30 minutes from siesta key. What stands out about this quaint little place is the outstanding employees. Everyone from the manager to the cleaning lady provided great service. Very helpful, and accomodating. I would definitely stay there again.

We truly enjoyed our week long stay! It is located w/in 1 mile of Casey Key beach and the north jetty! The room was very spacious, we had a deluxe suite, 3 of us stayed comfortably. The energy of the place was very warm and friendly. After a few days everyone staying there and the staff started to feel like family. The pool area is very nice, we ate breakfast poolside every morning! Brent, the manager, is a fantastic and friendly guy! Wanda, the housekeeper could not have been any nicer! They are doing some amazing renovations and I can't wait to see how it all turns out. We will definitely be back again!

I have been staying here since the beginning of oct. 2011 and have not experienced any of those things since the new managers took over and have made our stay very enjoyable the rooms stay clean the pool is spotless and everybody gets together on fridays to have a cookout if you so choose to join in. Plus your only 1 mile from beautiful casey key beach. If if that isn't convincing try finding a better area and place for their rates.

I stayed one night of the three I booked. I have contacted Expeida on this. Between the HUMAN pubic hairs I found on the comforter that smelled like dirty feet and sweat, the rude and very uninformative manager, the owner who was just plain rude, the noisy not efficient AC unit that resembled something that would be used in some sort of shanty shack, and the pool which was disgusting… my stay was very unsatisfactory. I have stayed here previously in mid-February and the new staff change is not something that is cohesive to the rest of the hospitality industry. The old manager was very pleasant and nice to deal with. They offered fresh rolls in the morning, the office opened up at 6:00 am, and they offered fresh OJ. However, now the office didn't open up until 8 am, I had to hunt down someone to inform them I would be checking out and voice my complaint, and the coffee was left over from the day previous. It is NO WONDER the parking lot was empty. At least when I stayed there previous, the parking lot was full, and the rooms were decent. The smell of the bleach or what ever chemical they use in their water smelt up my entire room, and I itched for 3 days after I checked out. The smell of raw sweage from what seemed to be coming from behind my room, and the smell of the one housekeeper/manager (I guess they can't afford a real manager so they have a very unprofessional, non-experienced manager), they stay was terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

After we checked into a non smoking room and it smelled like cirarettes and went into the bathroom and the toilet had lots of cigarette butts and ashes in it. We asked them to come see and she blamed us for it. Then did nothing but argue with us and when we defended ourselves she even told us to shut up. Then I got angry and did tell her what I thought. Even though the room was paid for she told us to leave and that we were low class and to go down the road to motel 6. She told us to leave the property in 30 seconds or she was calling the police she didn't even want me to go back in the room to get our things but I told her I was anyway. She would not refund our money nor let us stay there. She was the rudest person we have ever encountered. I would not recommend that place to anyone. They don't even deserve any rating it is pure disguest.
