We booked here because it came up at the best price when I searched for pet friendly hotels on Expedia, however this place is NOT pet friendly! Although the hotel was very nice, the room was exactly what was shown, and the staff were hospitable.

Card was charged twice! $550 for one night and it’s a pain to get my money back. They gave me an approval code for me to call my bank and get my funds released. The bank needs to talk to them and now their phones are down. I’m on vacation and this is ridiculous!

This was one of the nicest Best Western's I have stayed at in a long time. Very Clean and terrific customer service! We wanted to go to the beach but unfortunately there was a bad case of red tide (algae) in the area. We still enjoyed our time at the hotel and the restaurants in the area (although they all close much earlier than we are used to. ) We will definitely go back and try to go to the beach another time.

Stayed at another Best Western in Fort Myers the night before and it was sub par at best. This place was amazing. Spotless, up to date, very nice room and excellent staff. Will always stay here now when in Venice.

Nice, clean rooms. Very spacious and had all of the amenities we needed. Easy access from the interstate to the hotel with several casual restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I have stayed here several times and have always been satisfied.

I stayed at the Best Western in Venice, Florida recently. I have stayed there before and I was delighted with this latest stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and was monitored be a very conscientious staff member who keep the food hot and the dining room spotless. The location of this hotel is very convenient to I 75 and to the lovely town of Venice. I will be back for another visit. Thank you.

This is one of the cleanest, nicest, comfortable, friendliest hotels we have stayed in. We loved the breakfast choices and the friendly helpful staff. I told my husband that it must have been a women who decorated the hotel because of all the little thoughtfull extras. The downstairs has a separate lounch where you can sit and watch TV. We will be back for sure.

Top of the line when it comes clean, friendly and quality. The daily breakfast of is delicious and a great variety. Highly recommended.

Priced like a a premium hotel, but room very disappointing. All the furniture had Nick's, scapes, carpet old worn, and ugly. Internet shows hard wood floors, NOT!

Most accommodating staff ever! Breakfast was very good including the best strawberries! I loved the oversized rooms and comfortable bed. The location was excellent. Right off of 75 and 10 minutes to downtown Venice and the beach.

We have been going here for at least 15 years, and we wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else! Great, friendly, accommodating staff, large, comfortable rooms, and beds that feel like home. Add a fantastic FREE breakfast, including hot items, and you get the best place to stay bar none!

The building I'd set up beautifully. Accommodation is the absolute best in the area. It's more on the HOTEL side rather than a motel. Extremely clean.

This is a nice place and a good location. Easy access to many things. They serve a good breakfast and are nice people. Price is good for the area. Myself and my family stay here when in the area.

Drove in late at night and was woken up early by a jackhammer right under our window working on their front entrance. When calling the front desk to ask for a slightly later check out we were offered a “reduced” rate for a few extra hours. Amenities and rooms are fine but the service and courtesy to guests could be improved. Hope you don’t get a room construction side!

Breakfast is not great. Do not stay here for free breakfast. Hotel is nice and everything is in working order. Staff is very nice!

Every hotel should take lessons from this ONE. Caring staff ready to help, spotless breakfast bar, rooms welcoming/very clean, comfy. Janelle, front desk, very professional, called after our check out to tell me I left valuables in room. Junior, housekeeping manager, found and I was contacted. I am very greatful to an incredible staff with integrity & attentiveness.

The rooms and hotel are great. Staff very helpful. Main issue is with the fact that my card was charged twice. And the hotel just brushes off like oh our processing company had issues. It's been 21 days since the second charge and 23 days since the initial stay. My bank says there is nothing on there end showing a refund. So now I have to cancel my card. Wait for a new card, and go through the process of fighting the charge. I am gonna also contact beat western. Because this is ridiculous.

A great hotel! Beautiful spacious rooms. The staff was fantastic. Free breakfast was wonderful. And the housekeeping staff was just excellent. Charlene, Konner says hello.

A fantastic place. Clean rooms with new comfortable beds. 24hr coffee in the lobby always fresh and ready. Staff very friendly. If I am in need of a hotel in the Venice FL area again I won't even bother looking at any other place.

The staff at the hotel are top shelf and make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are quite nice and well maintained. The breakfast service is typical of this level of hotel and are adequate for most travelers. The selection of items is limited but okay. The property is well located right off of Interstate 75 on one of the main entrance roads to Venice, FL. The value of the hotel is okay also. We've stayed there twice now since January of 2017. Gas, food stores and restaurants are within easy reach of this property.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel and have always had great things to say. However, not this time. When returning from the beach and taking a shower I found two long black hairs stuck to the wall of the inside of shower. Being raised within the hotel business, I knew it had not been cleaned. 2nd, the matress was so old and thin I could feel every spring. This forced me to squeeze into the other bed with my small children. On a positive note, the staff was amazing as usual. Front desk was always smiling and helpful. Think next
time we may have to try a different location.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the room was a nice size. The fitness room was small but it had enough equipment for me and I enjoyed the weight machine. The pool was outside and it was also a smaller one but my daughter enjoyed it. I would definitely stay at this property again and I highly recommend it.

We've using this Best Western for 3 yrs in a row. We are 10min away from the beach and shopping. The beds are usually comfortable. This time we received a double queen room which left us with no room. The remote control did not work well, and there we no spare rolls of plastic for the trash can. These problems were solvable. We still had an excellent experience and would gladly return.

Great hotel with friendly staff! Wonderful over size rooms for a long family stay. Only 15 minutes from Venice beach and Sarasota shopping/beaches. Excellent quiet location with quick access to everything nearby. Definitely would stay again.

This hotel is Very nice. Clean, quiet and beds are so comfortable. My husband and I have stayed here on three different occasions. The staff are very helpful. They gave us several ideas of places to eat and several ideas of things to do in the area. We were very happy with each of their suggestions. The room size is amazing! The price is great for the area and what you get. I wish the pool had a Tikki bar and the water was warmer because it is nice to swim after a long day of sun and fun but the pool temp is to cool to do that during the winter months (maybe next time it will be warmer). Breakfast is good, always plenty of choices. We were even shown the honeymoon suite in case we wanted to stay for a longer period of time. (it was really nice). We hope to return next winter to enjoy the sunshine instead of upstate NY snowstorms.

Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, staff were always very friendly, downtown was only a few minutes drive as well as the beach. Breakfast was fantastic and there's something about the coffee here. Overall, very pleased with my stay here and would definitely do it again and recommend to a friend.

I originally planned to stay at the neighboring holiday inn that I always have problems with, but they booked me on the wrong day! I went over to Best Western and told them my situation and received a free upgrade to a beautiful and clean room. The rate was the same as Holiday Inn but the difference is I got my monneys worth here. I will definitely be returning.

Good location, close to downtown venice. The rooms are big and spacy with nice sheets and the staff there is very friendly.

Best place to stay for a vacation! The staff was so pleasant and the accommodations were great. The room was very clean and spacious. Also the fact that the hotel loans out beach towels, beach chairs, shark tooth and shelling shovels was has Huge Bonus! The breakfast was good every morning. And We enjoyed the pool as well. We will definitely be returning here for our next vacation.

It was a super experience. The motel was immaculate, the service perfect, morning breakfast the best, and even the 6 pm cookies hit the spot! Recommend this place big time.

My 2 sisters and I rented a room here for 1 week to surprise my Mom (who is snowbirding in So Florida) for her 80th Birthday. This hotel couldn't be more accommodating! From the minute we walked through the doors, late, after renting a car, eating at a local restaurant and landing from NY late at night, the 2 people at the front desk couldn't be nicer or more welcoming. My sisters and I decided to take Mom to Venice Beach for a day, but didn't want her (or us) to have to sit on the sand (we're all in our 50s, except Mom — lol). The man at the front desk (who looked like our cousin, Henry) was more than happy to lend us 3 beach chairs that previous guests left at the hotel! The breakfast was awesome — knowing it was right there when we were ready to have it, the pool was perfect (not too big, too crowed or too small), the hotel was clean and inviting and I was actually able to sleep on the comfortable mattress — which NEVER happens to me at any hotel! An all-around amazing trip — and thanks to the Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites, Venice, FL. We decided to make it a yearly visit to Mom and will absolutely stay at this Best Western again — we don't even want to try another hotel in this area. Thank you — BWPASV.
