Loved every second of this trip! Stay on the 2nd floor if you want an incredible view 😍 they provide beach chairs which I loved. Bed isn’t all that comfortable but that was about it. Great experience all around. We will be back for sure!

Possibly the best beach in Florida I’ve been to, and I’ve been to around 20 or so. It’s just peaceful, quite, very few people come here and it’s typical either really old people or middle aged people with younger kids. No loud drunk college kids with their terrible music and hygiene. Lol.

We love how helpful they are for checking in and any thing you need. The rooms are nice and the price is right for what they offer. The views from here are amazing and the access to the beach is very convenient. I would stay here again in the future.

Beautiful getaway rooms that allow you to enjoy the comforts of home with beachfront living. This resort allows you to walk out your back door to your private patio and access to a private beach.
I recommend this for anyone needing to just get away and relax for a while.

Great place. We got victimized by red tide. So we had to leave early. They very graciously gave us a fair refund.

We loved it! Rented room 223 upper level ocean view. Waking every morning with the view and breakfast on balcony was perfect. It's a small little apartment but was perfect for just the two people. There is a pull out couch that could sleep 2 more. The unit has all the amenities needed to prepare and cook meals. Dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. There is a Publix grocery just a mile down the road and other conveniences when needed. The room was clean upon our arrival and regular maid service daily was helpful in replenishing needed supplies during our 5 day stay. I wouldnt say this was luxurious like a higher-end resort, but if you want peace, relaxation, and just steps to the beach I'd highly recommend.

Totally enjoyed our stay in an AirBnB at The Beach. The room, grounds, and pool were clean and the front office staff was very friendly and professional! There are only two levels and 14 rooms so the beach and pool are never overcrowded, however, parking can be an issue especially if you have an oversized car or truck… so drive your compact car if you have a choice. The Beach offers umbrellas and chairs at no additional cost which is a huge plus to us! We will definitely be back!

Finding the beach access is a challenge and parking is very limited. But once there, it is a beautiful area. The only crowds are by the beach accesses. Otherwise, you only have a few people here and there. The beach itself slopes to the water so walking may be a bit of a challenge. The water is crystal clear and that pretty blue green color. There is a sand bar slightly offshore which breaks the incoming waves. Overall, it is a lovely beach. It is not a shelling beach, more for swimming and reflecting on the waves and birds. There are no facilities. It is a short walk from the parking to the beach. Very nice.

In our opinion the is the best place in Sarasota to watch a sunset. We used public beach access parking and it was a short walk out onto a much less crouded beach for a nice and quiet sunset. We also found lots of great shells in the area. Be mindfull this time of year and look out for the Sea Turtle nests.

Longboat key is just heaven, simply heaven. No matter where you stay or where you go.

Had to leave early from this gem 5 miles of relaxing and breathtaking views into gulf of Mexico drive. U get so awe struck just driving GOMD that before you know it you are at The Beach! Take it in cuz it's easy to forget the fact that you just open ur back door and ur in paradise.

I love this place. It is a good place to unwind and relax from the stresses of life for a second.

We have been going here annually for eight years. We love the quaintness of the beach, the proximity of the hotel to the beach and previously the hotel and hotel staff. However, our last two visits have been less than satisfactory. Two years ago upon arriving, our room was not ready, we asked to leave food in the room while we found something to do until it was ready. When we went in for lunch the next day, we found several items that we'd brought were no longer in the fridge. It took more than two weeks for the management company to satisfactorily resolve these issues but they never actually followed through on the resolution and I was too disappointed to continue to follow up. Our latest visit, the weekend of August 12, left us feeling like we spent way too much money for what we got. In the eight years we've been going here, the units do not seem to have been updated. The floors were dirty when we checked in, there was still sand on them and my feet were blackened from walking barefoot in the unit within the first two hours The dish washer was rusted, pieces were falling off the bottom drawer and it leaked when it was run. The bedroom had very little air conditioning going to it and the fan was broken (it would only go one very slow speed but made noise like it was trying to go faster), making the bedroom very warm.

Beautiful beach, has benches and shaded parking. Careful or you will drive right by this gem of a beach. Quiet and serene! Worth the visit.

Took the family here and loved it! Beautiful, clear water with white sand. Not over crowded either.

This place was a "GEM"! Martha the office site Mgr. Was unbelievably accommodating and jovial and downright warm on our welcome. She was well versed in giving us directions and great advice throughout our stay! We had such a great stay at this perfect location! Steps to the Gulf Beach and great views! The cleaning team were very efficient and gave us terrific pampering with our schedule.! I will book this condo again for the price the views and the exceptional staff that made our stay here AMAZING. We thank them all.! KEVIN and JENNA!

The Beach on Longboat Key is absolutely breathtaking. Clean beaches, soft sand, and not so many people that you can't enjoy yourself. The Downtown area on Longboat Key is great too! We bar hopped and ate at a few different restaurants while we were here, my favorite being Patrick's. Best burger in town for over 30 years! They definitely earned that!

Only the location as far as the beds was the worst and also full of fleas.
