Truly the best bed and breakfast. They make you feel so welcome and at home. Amazing breakfast in bed, breakfast on the front patio. It’s within walking distance to everything but far enough way to where you don’t hear too much noise come bedtime. My fiancé proposed to me here on the balcony after coming to celebrate dating for 4 years! We came here last year and fell in love and will definitely be returning in the future since they hold a special place in our hearts now. Would highly recommend and have recommended to so many friends and family members!

Wonderful experience! Beautiful private room that was very clean. Staff made you feel as if you were the only people staying there. Parking was safe and secure. Walking distance to all the fun. Would recommend to anyone who is going to St. Augustine.

My husband and I just experienced the most wonderful 2 night stay at this quaint Bed and Breakfast. EVERYTHING appealed to us… the staff were pleasant and totally accommodating, the Inn was vintage, well appointed and comfortable, the location was PERFECT and we could easily walk everywhere. The breakfast was tasty and creative… although light, it held us until lunch and was healthy! Soft music welcomed us upon arrival, Dean, the manager gave us information for tours and dining and made reservations for us and they even sang Happy Birthday to me at breakfast! We felt comfortable and welcomed! We made friends and an awesome memory… thank you to all the staff for making our stay very memorable. We have pledged to come and stay in each of the very lovely rooms. WE WILL BE BACK! AND… we also made sure we voted online for them as the best B&B in St. Augustine! Pam & Ken Weber, Palm Bay, FL.

This was the very first B&B ever that my husband and I stayed in. It was our Mini-Honeymoon and after lots of research we chose the Carriage Way Inn Bed & Breakfast. I must say, BEST decision! The service, Mary Lynn, Julio and their staff, were amazing! As soon as we checked in, they gave us an option to upgrade our room, at no charge, because it was available. Instead of being downstairs near the front door, we got the Tourmaline room, which is upstairs away from the front door traffic, with our own private patio. Hello! We took it! That room was beautiful! It had a king size bed. Loved that the sink was on the outside from the shower. We had nice robes to wear while in the room. OH! And since it was our Honeymoon, they had a bottle of Champagne waiting for us at no extra charge! The only thing we didn't like about the room were the pillows, they were a little too stiff for our liking. So bring your own pillow if you need it to be softer. The location was great too, super close to St. George Street, Flagler College and The Fort. We parked our car and left it the whole time we were there. We couldn't ask for a better location! We walked everywhere! The owners were super sweet and helped us out with everything we needed. Even when we forgot our toothpaste, they had these boxes around the B&B that said "Forgot something. ", which I LOVED because it had little things in there that you may have forgotten to pack like soap, cotton balls, razors, etc.

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast and it was such a wonderful experience. The owners and staff were so attentive and helpful. Not only did they make our stay enjoyable but they offered fantastic suggestions on enhancing our visit. Looking forward to returning.

Dean is the best! Tell Red I said hello! Honestly there is a reason this place is voted the best bed and breakfast. From the personal touches such as a REAL homemade breakfast to complimentary water, coffee, tea, sodas, wine and liquor in your room you will not be disappointed. Dean is awesome and will point out some great local places for you to try not just the standard places, places the locals go and that is what makes the trip more memorable. Easy walking distance to anywhere you could possibly want to go and free on site parking. Rooms are neat and clean with very nice period furniture in the rooms. The upstairs balcony is great to just sit, unwind and watch people go by as well as the ghost tours at night. I will be back again as our stay here was nothing short of perfect.

Super cute, super friendly. Great location. I am so glad we canceled our hotel reservations and decided to stay a B&B. Very clean and safe area. I would def recommend this to anyone.

We visited here for our anniversary. Wonderful location, beautiful home, friendly staff. Upon check in, the inn owner went over the map with us and gave us tips on all the places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The rooms were quiant and really had that old time feel. There is wine and water available at all times and some sweet treats in the afternoon (mainly cookies). There is also complimentary wine in the lobby and southern comfort in the rooms. Breakfast is also served in the lobby and it was delicious. We will definitely be staying here again. I forgot to take my photos before, we checked in early and headed out and about. The bed was made very nicely with 2 chocolates on the bed.

Upon checking in we received a very nice reception and was given all the information related to our stay and interest of activities around the town. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a flavor of times gone by. Breakfast the next morning was delicious as well as healthy. Parking was a plus and available at the B & B. Located steps away from the historic shopping district. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit St Augustine.

My fiancee and I stated at the Carriage Way B&B for one night in their Gold Suite. Our room was a bit larger than average, and complete with a separate bathroom area and a Jacuzzi style bathtub large enough for the two of us. They have a great location just a block away from the pedestrian shopping district and our stay was very quiet despite being so close to everything. Morning breakfast was delicious, although we each encountered a piece of eggshell in the frittata. Overall, we had a nice stay. But to be honest, I believe it was a bit overpriced, even with the accommodations.

A great place to stay with a staff that is so friendly and personable you'll feel like you're home for a visit. We stayed in the Gold room which was very nice. Hot water was plentiful in this historic B&B. Never stayed anywhere with a bed that was more comfortable. The little extras both in our room and the breakfast room show an attention to detail that is focused on hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We will be back and highly recommend it.

Staff was beyond kind and helpful! Very friendly! Provided lots of recommendations with places to go based on what you enjoy! Room was nice, oversized, comfortable, and included modern amenities with an antique touch. Breakfast was served outside on the porch by the owner himself and was delicious! We would recommend this place for anyone young or older and we will definitely be back!

The best cervicio I was on honeymoon with my husband and we loved grabbed a package that included roses in the room, a beautiful room, champagne, horse carriage to know the city the Cervicio of room is excellent treat you super well and if You need something are there immediately, AAAA also took us breakfast in our bed… I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a beautiful night this is the perfect place.

My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff and accommodations. We were thrilled with the decision we made to stay at Carriage Way. The location was absolutely perfect to everything we intended to explore while we were visiting. We will absolutely be staying there again and we highly recommend.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We spent two nights in the Ruby room, which was small but cozy. The staff was nice and respected our privacy. Only complaint was the shower was built more for style rather than comfort or efficiency. Basically zero water pressure coming from the straight down nozzle and took almost 5 minutes to get warm. Would definitely recommend changing it to something better and checking the water heater.

This is the third time we have stayed here and we are always warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The rooms are decorated very nicely without all the gaudy furnishings that most B&Bs suffer from. Great breakfast with 24 hour access to all kinds of treats, snacks, and drinks. Well worth a visit.

Unbelievably Exceptional Everything from the moment of arrival was catered to comfort. Rooms were very well appointed, beautifully decorated and cozy on cooler nights. Breakfast was outstanding as was the service and attention to detail.

I took my wife here for a few days on vacation. We stayed in the diamond suite and it is absolutely worth every penny. Such a beautiful inn and the owners and staff are so helpful and very aware of your needs. We will going back very soon.

My husband took me to Carriage Way for a night. I had never been to a Bed and Breakfast. The owner and staff were outstanding. The house was very warm and inviting. We loved it! We had an amazing stay and I would highly recommend!

My husband & I could not have enough good things to say about the Carriage Way Inn. The owner & staff were absolutely delightful & very accommodating. After mentioning to the owner that we'd just gotten married, she so graciously hand-delivered a beautiful bottle of champagne w/two glasses to our room! She is truly a sweetheart! The Inn is simply gorgeous w/the vintage/modern decor. Breakfast was delicious and served up beautifully. Early morning coffee served just outside of our room was a very nice touch! If we could give them more stars. We would! We will definitely be returning to what is now our favorite B&B at St. Augustine! ☺

I HIGHLY recommend staying at Carriage Way B&B! The staff was extremely sweet and so attentive. The breakfast was delicious in the morning and the unlimited wine, sodas, sherry, coffee & fresh baked goods was awesome too :-). We stayed 3 nights last week/ weekend with them and couldn't be more pleased with our stay. To begin with they accommodated our late checkin without hesitation and even called before leaving for the night to check on us. After breakfast the next morning Julio sat down with us and offered suggestions on the best places to visit and circled everything on the map and showed us where things were we had in mind to visit. He wasn't familiar with one place we had in mind so he offered to look it up and get us in the right direction. All of the staff was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was amazing every morning! Friday they delivered an anniversary cake to us that was hands down one of the best cakes we've ever tasted. The Gold room was wonderful, comfy bed, nice bath and shower combo. All in all we don't regret our choice of staying with them and planning on staying with them again!

The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was clean. The ruby room was very small and located just off the living room/reception area. The sink and shower were free standing in the room, the toilet at least had a door. There was no closet or armoire. I've stayed in many, many B and B's before and look forward to the breakfast. There was no choice, you got a breakfast burrito, a miniature amount of slivered fruit and a cinnamon muffin. I didn't like it so they made me scrambled eggs. A plate of scrambled eggs, no bacon, no sausage, no toast! I was very disappointed! We left our umbrellas and they called to let us know which was very nice. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We stayed here for the first time a few weeks ago and our stay was wonderful. The owners took the time to sit down with us and make recommendations for things to do and places to eat. They had chairs and beach towels available for our trip to the beach. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had the room directly next to the front entrance and did not have any noise issues. Breakfast was great both mornings. We will absolutely stay here again.

We were within walking distance to everything At. Augustine. Our room was gorgeous and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning has been nothing short of delicious. We will be back.

I cannot stop talking about how amazing the staff is. Once we arrived they offered drinks and sat down with us, discussing sights we wanted to see in St. Augustine. They circled every attraction we were interested in on the map. We stayed in the Ruby room which was very clean and quaint, with a beautiful tile shower in the room. Drinks in the kitchen are available at all hours, and they were very flexible with breakfasts given our vegan diet! Carriage Way is in the perfect location for walking, we did not have to use our car all weekend. Highly recommended!

Awesome! First time staying at a B&B and I absolutely loved it. So quiet and cozy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The second my husband and I walked through the door we were greeted by name with cold glasses of ice water and chilled jasmine scented towels. The innkeeper and staff were all so friendly and personal. The place was well kept at all times and it was so easy to relax. I literally enjoyed every single moment of the entire time I was there. Would I go back… definitely.

My wife and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The staff (Dean) was incredibly helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is located on a quiet street in the historic downtown of St. Augustine. We recommend the Amethyst Room! We'll definitely be back again.

Stayed for our wedding weekend. Staff was very friendly and conversational. One of the cleanest B&Bs I've ever seen. It is an old house but it was updated inside. The owners clearly take great pride in their establishment. Breakfast was very yummy after a comfy night's sleep!

Stayed in the platinum room, cute decor and spotless for such an old building. Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful. Great attention to detail, rooms come with a bit of sherry for sipping and parking was convenient. Fantastic stay.

Located in the heart of Historic St. Augustine, you truly feel like you have stepped back in time. My girlfriend and I came here in August for a surprise weekend getaway. The room was cozy and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, Michaele was very friendly and helpful! We did their artisan picnic and had a very picturesque lunch by Castello San Marco; scenery and food were amazing! The location was great, we were a short walk away from most places we visited. We have already planned for another trip to celebrate our anniversary in December. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first time staying at a B&B and it was an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Tanzanite room… WOW! It was breathtaking. The staff was so friendly and accomendating to our needs, the location was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere. The entire place was booked but it remained quiet the entire stay. The breakfast was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. I would love to plan another trip here soon.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was adorable and had an antique claw foot tub! Very easy access to everything downtown has to offer and only a short ride over the bridge to the beach. Ammenities galore! Snacks, ice, and cold beverages available to guests 24/7. The breakfast was fantastic as well! I would highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again myself in the future!

We recently had a fabulous stay at Carriage Way. From the moment we entered this beautiful bed and breakfast, we felt at home. Michaele is an exceptional host. When we arrived, she gave us a map of St. Augustine and spent much time talking with us about places to see and things to do. She asked about our interests so that she could help us plan two days of sight seeing based upon what we like/like to do. Our room was comfy and cozy. Breakfasts were very good. Each evening, there were drinks and snacks provided for guests. The location is perfect. Within walking distance of all attractions. If you are planning a trip to St. Augustine, you will want to stay at THIS bed and breakfast.

Our Carriage Way experience was our first-ever stay at a B&B, and we were not disappointed. We had a very peaceful few days at Carriage way. Location was great. Parking was on the property. We really liked that we only had a short walk to most of the fun and beautiful parts of St Augustine. Our room was quite and clean. We are looking forward to visiting again. We were made to feel very welcome in this beautiful home.

Our family stayed at the Carriage Way for a family celebration. The owners were terrific, the food was delicious (I even had grits and didn't know it), and our room was quiet, bright, cool and most comfortable. We will definitely be back.

We had such a great time at the Carriage Way. John and Jeanie were wonderful. Breakfast in bed was exquisite. Their food was excellent! I don't really eat a large breakfast, but it was hard not to because it was so good. I never, ever, eat coconuts in anything, ever. But, Jeanie made the best Chocolate cake and cookies. The B&B was a block away from all historic sites, restaurants, downtown, etc. Jeanie gave us great tips on the best places to go. When we arrived Jeanie and John gave us a warm welcome. It truly is a home away from home. We highly recommend the Carriage Way Inn for anybody, and when we come back to beautiful St. Augustine, we will certainly go back to them.

The individual care, the outstanding breakfasts, comfortable room. John and Jeanie alw welcomed us and make us feel special. John gave us some tip to see and do in the area and it was all in walking distance to the beautiful Inn. Coffee right outside our bedroom was wonderful to have while getting ready for breakfast. My husband and myself didn't feel like a room number, John and Jeanie knew us by our names. We will be back soon.
