Reviews of Hilton Pensacola Beach 4*
One of the best hotels on the beach. Friendly staff and very nice rooms with perfect views of the gulf and bay.
I was not told about all the construction going on. My suite was terribly warm. Temp went no lower than 75. I called multiple times for a fan but got no answer. Would never recommend this place. The wings I ordered from room service were raw. 347.00 a night and I have one more night in this hell hole.
Great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very much appreciated. Was fortunate to get an upgraded room.
The best place to stay on the beach. Great staff, great rooms, great view.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was awesome. We had a view overlooking the ocean. Thank you for a great stay!
Love visiting with Mike at the bar every time we stop by! Amazing food & drinks, IMPECCABLE service and vibes, thank you Mike! 😊
Right on the beach, pool is great, poolside servers awesome, and food is good.
Beautiful! ❤️ Very helpful staff! Great pool & beach area.
Horrible food poisoning from Bonsai. Everything else was great!
Hands down, the best hotel experience I've ever had. We plan on staying here everytime we come to Pensacola Beach. Well worth every dollar.
I love this place! Great food…H2O restaurant the staff is absolutely pleasant and professional. Stacey Byrd my wedding coordinator ROCKS! I couldn’t have done into wedding without her! By far the best place to stay and have my wedding. The staff made sure that my family and friends were accommodated accordingly. Anyone who comes to Pensacola to stay or to have a beach wedding, this is the place!
From beginning to end of our stay the staff were professional and very nice. The room was extremely clean and absolutely comfortable. The pools were clean and the pool staff were so helpful. Loved the hospitality! They knew it was our anniversary so brought us up a goody basket full of sodas, water, chips and candy. Extra nice! I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Great place. They’ve went far above and beyond to accommodate my needs while supporting a convention here. The place is awesome. The staff has been very helpful.
Beautiful hotel on the beach. Very accommodating and the staff is wonderful.
Loved it here! Very friendly staff!
Awesome hotel with killer staff. The Firefighters love this hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, and great service all around.
Loved my stay here. Staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. Ryan and Dotty are amazing. Views are gorgeous and close to everything, but why leave?
Can not say enough about this Hilton! The staff are all so friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay great! Here over Thanksgiving, we usually stay at another hotel chain, but so happy I chose Hilton for this trip. Will definitely say here again!
Came for a work-related trip. Everyone is super nice and the weather was great. Would definitely come back again.
I don’t care what you order… all the food is amazing! The conch fritters were amazing!
Great location, pools, bands and fun for kids! Very nice staff too!
Come here at least once a year. Two this year, so far. Some of the best customer service I have ever had, every time.
Love this place. Great place to stay.
Always love this place excellent location.
Front Desk folks were super nice, along with bartenders, staff over all were fantastic 👏🏽👏🏽 we enjoyed our stay & will be back!
I can’t say enough BAD things about this hotel. But I will start with the fact that it is now day 3 of being charged almost $3, 000 (they charged me 6 times) and not being able to speak to anyone that can help me. I have left multiple voicemails for multiple managers and nothing. I also sent an email regarding our stay. The room was disappointing, the bath tub did not drain (and when we informed them of this they did nothing to fix it). When we requested towels they said they would send them up and they never did. We weren’t able to do early check in or late check out even though we booked the sweeten your stay package. The staff was incredibly rude every time we had to go to the front desk for something. And they NEVER answer the phone. The elevators were very slow and loud and their inspection expired 08/2020. Staying here was a HORRIBLE experience.
Rooms were clean, everyone was friendly, even checked in a day early and they accommodated us. Inside bartender was amazing, he was very busy and kept it running smoothly as some customers were being difficult. Definitely coming back, hopefully in September.
Just spent 5 1/2 hours waiting for our rooms and finally left. So disappointed. What a huge business fail. Apparently fully booked the hotel for spring break without enough staff to clean the rooms for incoming guests.
Great Stay. Awesome sunsets.
Every staff member was super friendly.
Fantastic for any kind of gathering. The staff was fantastic, friendly and very helpful.
Great location.
They are still recovering from Hurricane Sally and they are doing a fine job. The suite is large and the view from the balcony is perfect.
Gorgeous views & excellent amenities.
Great hotel and friendly staff!
We have a three bedroom suite. They have been so good to us. We were able to rent a cabana for a reduced rate. The staff has been awesome. I love it here!
Clean property, helpful staff. Excellent service in restaurants and at front desk as needed.
Love it here, very clean and right at the beach.
Awesome hotel with a top notch staff. Pool patio and outside bar are excellent! Beds are comfy as they come. Hotel is close to everything Pcola Beach has to offer. B.
This place is amazing from the welcoming friendly staff to the nice comfy rooms to the beautiful beach and sparkling pools!
Staff is very accommodating. Service was very good.
We’ve stayed here almost every year during Mardi Gras weekend. Always a great experience! Love the staff and their friendly, courteous service!
You are right on the beach. Great restaurant H2O in the Hilton. Two pools outside and one inside. Fantastic view.
Super beautiful, plenty of space, quiet, and a wonderful view.
Proximity to the beach, lots of very good restaurants nearby, very good food at the hotel too! Great pool area (though a bit too cold for using in December.
Very nice hotel! Room is comfortable with great amenities and a beautiful view of the beach. Service is wonderful.
Beautiful views, great location, friendly staff.
First class staff and major property upgrades since I was last here. Thank you for the warm welcome and awesome treatment. Best place to stay on Pensacola Beach!
Everything was great except the towels. They were as old and rough as sand paper. Not a fan of that and for that rate the hotel 2 stars out of 5.
Beautiful property with friendly and professional staff.
I love the Hilton and they are always my first choice but this one just missed the mark for me. Starting from our first impression — lobby feels dated and run down. It has a store right when you walk in which feels very down market. Our rooms were humid and everything always felt damp no matter what we did. Beds had hair in them when we arrived and the kitchen area wasn’t very clean — especially the microwave where crumbs and dust had collected in the vent. Also we had a kitchenette but no dishes or utensils so that was kind of useless. We called no less than 5 times before we finally got enough towels for the room — they gave us 3 for 5 people. Also, being an honors member we usually get little extras, or a text asking how they could make our stay better. Didn’t have any of that here. Beach was great though. Food was good. But the hotel part needs a real upgrade.
We come here every year and love it every time! Great service, yummy on-site food, and beautiful location. Fun for the whole family.
All I can say is "wow" beautiful place, staff they are amazing… I would definitely recommend this hotel!
The staff decorated my Friends room for her "40"th birthday… she was so excited, they did a amazing job… The Restaurant staff helped out and surprised her for lunch with candles on a cupcake!
Even the Management staff helped out! Thank you guys so much for making this a memorable trip…
Very beautiful scenic views! Friendly staff and great food options.
Great restaurant onsite, pool, access to the ocean and friendly staff.
For a Hilton Hotel and for the price, the rooms were very basic and the daily room service was very poor. The beds were not made and all the dirty towels were taken but not replenished with new ones. The beds were not at all comfortable and the pillows were too small. The breakfast process was very vague, we assumed for the price, the breakfast was complimentary. We were told after eating it was $16.00 per person for a full breakfast. Overpriced hotel for the off season and poor service made for a bad experience.
Worst Hilton ever… and we've stayed at many. Were suppose to stay for 3 nights, but checked out a day early due to experience. Second day, could not get our room serviced till 3PM… after 2 phones to housekeeping and waiting in the lobby for 1.5 hrs till they were done. In-room breakfast was stone cold — tried to warm it up in the micro but the plates were too big to fit! The full buffet is $15 + beverage… and we had to make our own waffle. Never did get a waitress to explain it to us — had to find it out on our own. Then had to track her down to get our check and get out of there. Oh — and when they finally did service our room, had to track down and get our own towels. And the bath tub took forever to drain from the shower — glad I didn't try a bath. All around, supremely stressful, bad experience.
We were so impressed by the level of customer service. Great friendly staff who genuinely seem pleased to be helpful. Provided a free cot for an unexpected guest and didn't charge us for keeping the bicycles out past the complimentary 2 hours. Of course the hotel is beachfront in a great location, but it's the little things that bring this hotel to the top of my list of Pensacola places to stay. Thank you for your hospitality!
I stayed here for multiple nights with work training meetings. The guest rooms are great, very clean, and no complaints. The customer is great, and nothing less than what I would expect from the Hilton Brand. The meeting rooms were also very good and clean. The pools are clean and nicely regulated. The poolside bar is fun, the inside bar was average… the only bartender bi didn't appreciate was the one who didn't know how to make an Old Fashioned. That was my only negative experience though… great hotel.
Very happy with my two days at The Hilton. I was here for business training and the staff treated everyone like royalty. The place was very clean and well taken care of. The pool area was nice and I watched the faces of all the happy families. There is a nice pool for adults, and a fairly large pool with a tall sprinkler shooting water for kids. Overall a very nice place to stay.
My family and I had a very disappointing stay here. We were in and out of our room all day long. We saw that housekeeping was getting close to our room so we left the room to be out of there way. When we came back to our room at 5:30 PM, the room still had not been serviced. There was no DND sign left on the door. I called the front desk to let them know. We had no clean linens and the entire family needed to shower before dinner. It wasn't until 6:30 PM before someone bothered to come by our room after several calls to the front desk. They brought fresh towels and at some time after we left for dinner, serviced the room. The disappointing part of the experience is that when we checked out… no one at the front desk even asked how our stay was? No one cared enough to ask anything at checkout. Nothing. It was one of the worst hospitality experiences that I have ever had.
Conference services are excellent. Location is within walking distance of several restaurants. Rooms are well appointed, just a bit dated. Hotel is located right on the beach. The hotel staff are extremely accommodating, although sometimes the front desk can seem at bit understaffed. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Pensacola.
What a beautiful property! We’ve never been to this part of the country, very pleasantly surprised at how awesome the beach is! Beautiful fine white sand with very mild temperature water, small waves and perfect weather make for an amazing family vacation so far. The hotel itself seems to have been renovated recently, everything is clean and very modern. Food has been great and surprisingly well priced for a resort! We would not hesitate to recommend Hilton Pensacola to any families looking for a getaway.
Pools are great. 1 foot pool with water spraying arches. 3-5 foot pool. Hot tub. Gulf access. Great breakfast and exec lounge.
Absolutely a lovely stay. Very clean, customer service was outstanding, parking garage available, free pool towel service. There were nice touches with complimentary coffee in the morning, fruit infused water and cookies in the afternoon. The rooms were updated, very clean, with mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely visit again.
Not pet friendly. Would rate higher but I wish they had a nice huge spa that were open to the public (with those gulf views/prime location — us women need a place like this around here) … that the hotel were pet friendly… but they have glorious views of the gulf and restaurant is delicious. Brunch is overpriced though. The pool is fun & they do have a Jacuzzi and kid pool area. I have a great time when I stay here, but I wish I could bring my dog-ter.
Hotel was nice, but I didn't enjoy any of the amenities because I was only there for work and my actual time at the hotel was limited. The air conditioner was not very impressive in the room. It did cool the room eventually, but it seemed to struggle to do so. Hotel staff was very nice and courteous. Had no issues whatever with anything else. Plenty of parking available and pool looked nice and hotel sits directly on the beach. One thing to note, there is a $1.00 toll to enter Pensacola beach from Gulf Breeze. None on the way back off island.
We recently stayed at your beautiful beach front facility. The grounds are nice, the interior is fine, however I do have a few issues I would like to address. I booked our stay on the phone the day before, as my fiance doesn't get alot of time off and its so infrequent I did not have much time to book but wanted to surprise him with a fun night away and to preview a possible venue for our 2019 wedding. You see we live in a small town in Ms, about 4 hours away from the hotel and made good time when we arrived. We got in at about 2 on Saturday and were told that we would not be able to check in until 4, though on the phone while booking I was told due to the low occupancy the night before that it shouldn't be a problem. My fiance was bummed as he wanted to put on his bathing suit and asked if there was a place for guest checking in early to change and he was rudely told he could take full advantage of the bathroom.? Ok then. So we shuffled our things back to the car and then back in the bathrooms to change, I then waited in line for another 20 minutes while other couples were checked in to their room and given their room keys early to ask where I could rent the umbrellas/chair set ups. I was more then upset by this point, we had just driven 4 hours, spent 370 on a room for 1 NIGHT to not even be able to get an extra hour in our room. The room was mediocre at best, the only thing worth the price was the view, OTHERWISE the room was sparsely stocked with any extras.
Hotel and it's amenities were great. We loved the large kiddy pool which was great for the young children in our family (1yo, 1.5yo, 2.5yo, and 3yo). Room was clean, room offerings we're great, and kitchen and such was outstanding. The executive lounge was great for food, drink, and relaxing. Only a few disappointments. 1) Bell hops don't share the luggage carts 2) front desk accidentally assigned our room to someone else. They came in during nap time which was both alarming, uncomfortable, and awoke the kids. 3) we asked if breakfast was included as a diamond member. We were told yes, but found out after we were seated that our group would not be covered. This wasn't a big deal, but would like to have known this BEFORE sitting down. 4) soy milk in executive lounge was curdled (didn't know soy milk could do that). This was uncovered after several folks (in our group and outside our group) had used it that morning. Other than and the other items (and #4) were handled and resolved by appropriate staff.
I am a Hilton Diamond and this hotel is in my top 10 of all Hilton's I have stayed. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel itself was very nice. Can't say enough about the people we came in contact with — professional yet friendly, and made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay at this property again.
The Hilton was a very nice hotel located on the beach in Pensacola. I chose it because of the kids pool which is unique and made it easy for my child to play safety. They have an awesome splash pool that is large and great for young children who can't swim yet. We spent most of our time in the pool and there was always enough chairs even though it was spring break. I liked how large the pool area was and how easy beach access is. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great place and great service. It rained while we were here but we were able to sit and chat with the bartender. He offered great advice and even when his shift was over kept chatting. Pools were large and clean, and the rooms were nice with good views. Our room "without a view" still had a very nice view. It was just bay front instead of ocean front, so you can probably skip the extra money and still enjoy it looking out of your window at the water.
Outstanding hotel! Room was very comfortable. Views from the deck were stunning. Pool side access and private parking at the beach is the way to go. Water at beach was very clear in April. Good prices-excellent value for what you get. Concierge service was top quality. We are coming back!
We had an issue with our reservation, in which we had been booked on the wrong date. The staff did their best to correct the error. The manager on staff, Jean Washington, was nice and made sure we were taken care of. The hotel and room were great and it’s in a wonderful location! Would definitely recommend.
Loved the view from our room. Loved the food at the breakfast buffet. Loved the access to the beach. Overall amazing. Friendly staff who know the area and clean hotel rooms. Perfect stay.
Our stay was two fold, our anniversary trip and we got to see our son who is in the military. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen, granite countertops and all appliances. 5 start accommodations all the way around. Our balcony wrapped around both sides of the hotel and had plenty of space to sit, drink coffee and watch the sunrise. If sunset is your thing a cold beer replaces the coffee and you are good to go. The pools at Hilton Pensacola are very nice, plenty big with one bring perfect for the little kiddos. Sit at the bar and have drinks or at your lounge chair, the server will be more than happy to bring everything to you. Speaking of the food was amazing, most hotel for is just play but the good here was really outstanding. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich on a brioche bun, I highly recommend it. Beach access is easy and the beaches are well maintained as is the entire hotel. The staff is friendly and appear eager to serve. You can't go won't starting here.
Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. Great pool area with plenty of comfy seating. Lovely view from the rooms, easy beach access. We really enjoyed our weekend here!
Being local we enjoy going to the Hilton for breakfast and Sunday brunch. We have always enjoyed your recognition to locals utilizing your dining area with a locals discount. Today we introduced another couple to your Sunday brunch which they enjoyed. Walking through the dining room I noticed that some of the familiar faces of local friends were not there. When we received our check we were sadly informed that Hilton no longer provides local discount. After I left I reached out to one of my friends who wasn’t there today. She advised she had learned of the change awhile back and they had relocated their Sunday brunch to another restaurant. Guess the writing is on the wall and you are discouraging locals.
Every time we come here we enjoy our experience. They have excellent facilities and amenities. I've stayed here with my wife and the room was clean and turned over. The breakfast was great. I appreciate the thought behind much of the service we received. I have also attended multiple events in several capacities and the event staff is spot on with service. It's the sign of a healthy hotel. I would recommend this place for both events and for vacationing.
Great service. Super clean. Great rooms. Awesome views. A lot of amenities. Recommended 100% you will get more than what you are paying for. It surpassed my expectations. Top quality and service. Bar is awesome and prices are similar of what I get everywhere else. Not really expensive in my opinion.
Good hotel and awesome views. Convenient to the beach. Breakfast is amazing and the staff are friendly. Recently remodeled. No silverware or dishes in suites with kitchens. Guess aholes were stealing them and how we can't have nice things. You can hear your neighbors if they are loud and you can tell when your upstairs neighbors flush.
I just spent a week here. A Wonderful staff, very attentive, polite, professional and they greet you with a smile. The hotel is very clean and the amenities are wonderful. The perfect place for a small wedding ceremony or some type of celebration.
Great beach view from our 7th floor with balcony. Spacious room with nice big queen-size bed. Enjoyed nice warm breakfast buffet!
Great experience. Front desk clerks were awesome. Very helpful and welcoming. There was an older gentlemen working at the bar in the main lobby (hate that I can't remember his name) who provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable. We left several hanging clothes in the closet of the room after checkout and with one phone call they were in the mail and arrived within two days. The stay here exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and customer service. Great job!
Surprise vacation gift planned by family member who is VERY picky. He didn't disappoint! The Pensacola Beach Hilton is beautiful with lovely pool, good service, and our suite was enormous. Beach front view and nice clean beach; friendly atmosphere is whatever you want it to be. Great for couples, families (we saw lots of children), nearby to excellent restaurants. We did not eat in the hotel so no comment there.
This hotel is located on a splendid picturesque Us location in Pensacola Beach. The rooms are well-appointed and include a microwave and coffee maker. The bed linens are very comfortable and include a feather duvet. There's a Starbucks coffee bar on site as well as a Cajun Asian fusion restaurant.
We are locals and needed to stay the night due to home renovations. This hotel is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico. When you walk in the doors you're greeted by a kind professional staff. The have full service concierge and the workers fill you in on all the happenings. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and decorated with seaside colors. There's a restaurant, coffee bar and full liquor bar inside. When you walk out the back, there is a huge pool and hot tub as well as another fully stocked liquor bar. Super easy access to the sugar white beach that feels like baby powder when you walk on it. If you want a fabulous getaway… this will be perfect. All the shopping and restaurants are walking distance, so no vehicle is necessary.
Great hotel. Check in could have been a disaster but Jean made it right. Great pool area. Room layout is odd; large room but very small bathroom. Bell hop service couldn't have been better. Easy parking.
Wonderful hotel right on the beach with a number of places to eat within walking distance. The pool is big enough for all the guests along with the private beach. There are two wings in this hotel the one with 17 floors is newer and nicer.
If you're looking for a great Pensacola beach experience, look no further. This place isnt the fanciest hotel ever, but it definitely is a perfect beach Hotel. Very easy access to the beach, tons of restaurants in walking distance, and the staff was my favorite part. The staff here was extremely friendly. Love this Hilton and definitely plan to return.
We stayed there in May 2017 (sorry for the delayed review) and had an amazing stay. Room and grounds were wonderful as was the employees! Only suggestion I do have is that when it's a room with 2 beds that can accommodate 4 people that there should be enough towels for 4 people left in the room. Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations.
Had a great experience here. Besides the friendly service, cleanliness, and convenience of the location, I had a problem resolved very efficiently. After leaving Pensacola, I arrived at the New Orleans airport only to realize that I had left my passport and some cash in the hotel safe. I called in a panic and Irina sent someone to check the room safe right away. She confirmed that my stuff was in their possession and that they'd ship it to my home in Canada. She communicated constantly about it and even texted so that I could text back with my address for accuracy. Her help and professionalism made an aggravating situation much easier. I'd definitely stay there again.
Friendly staff and hotel. We checked in late with no problem at the front desk, but were given a room with feathers despite asking for a feather free room. Housekeeping sent to people to change the comforter and pillows and they got it done in no time at all. The hotel was bustling in the morning with at least one conference. Breakfast was okay but not worth the over $15, glad we had a breakfast voucher.
Nice rooms and got a good rate. Was a little annoyed by the elementary school rules. You have to sign permission slips to use pool towels. You are regularly asked to wear your pool wrist bands. The beach access gate was zip tied one day as they didn't want people to go onto the beach because of high winds. Winds weren't that bad. We had to walk over to the Hampton Inn to use their beach access.
Beautiful hotel. We got the bunk bed suite and it is like a shotgun house it is so big. Opens into the bunk beds behind the door, double queens, then the bathroom complete with tub and shower, into a spacious living room area complete with sink, fridge and microwave, finally ending on a full balcony with 4 chair table and amazing ocean view. The Fitness room is a FULL fitness room, and there is an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool with kiddie wading pool and hot tub. This hotel is spoiling us.
The breakfast was quite organized and tasted delicious. The rooms were clean, organized and spacious/roomy. And finally the room service was really kind and seemed like she cared. Sadly I can't recall her name but she did have accent so if she attends your room make sure to tip her well.
I stayed at the Hilton Pensacola Beach for a work retreat. My family decided to join me at the end of the trip. We moved hotels while we were here and I accidentally left behind a drawer full of my clothes. A couple hours after we left I noticed my mistake. I went back to the hotel and asked if my items had been turned in by housekeeping and they said no. They called up to the room and the elderly woman now staying there said there were no items left behind either. The put me in touch with the head of housekeeping and he told me he would look into it and call me back within an hour. I never heard back from him and after several messages left with him and the hotel assistant manager I am still awaiting a returned phone call. I assumed that since we paid a more premium price for our rooms that the staff would be more honest if any items were left behind. The hotel is beautiful and the front desk, restaurant and bar staff were all amazing! Just disappointing that this hotel cannot be trusted with your items and has terrible customer service at the management level.
Here's a quick list of why my rating is so low: The fridge in our room worked sometimes. Any type of request from guest services (towels, cleaning service, etc. ) had to be requested multiple times before it was accomplished. The 17 story tower only had one functioning elevator, so you literally waited 10+ minutes to get to your floor. Unless you took the stairs, which isn't really an option with a toddler and arms full of beach gear. The fire alarm system was tested multiple times while our toddler was napping. I understand testing an important system, but 4 times in an hour is unnecessary. The only real positive for us was the kiddie pool/splash pad. If it wasn't for that I'd give this place 1 star.
Well Hotel. And well to-do give by the beach.
Comfortable close to the beach with two swimming pools
Beautiful clean to spend some good vacasiones.
This was an amazing start to our family vacation. Stephanie at guest relations was fantastic! The hotel was beautiful, great location on the beach, and our bed was so comfortable — all was well appreciated after a 12 hour drive with 3 kids. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Wonderful staff and beautiful facilities with a location that can't be beat. Also, I LOVED the pools — my husband took our 5yo son to the beach and I had the 2.5yo and 5mo to corral and the girls loved the kids pool/splash area. We really enjoyed our stay, more than I can say, and are making this a regular stop on our family vacation.
Relaxed atmosphere. Hilton beds are the best. Nice pool with a bar. Breakfast was good, buffet style with eggs cooked to order. Grand-daughter thought the cereal and yogurt choices were lacking. Beach chairs and umbrellas have to be rented (only there till 5) but you can put it on your room bill if you don't want to carry a wallet out there.
Pros — Great pool area, room was spacious with a big deck overlooking the pool and ocean, the hotel was within walking distance of 90% of our daily activities, the staff was friendly and upbeat, and we very much enjoyed the pool party and other activities that the hotel facilitated during our stay. Cons — We booked a room for 5 people and received 3 bathroom towels — asked for more but continuously were provided with 3. We were confronted by pool staff numerous times each day verifying that we were guests at their hotel (even though we were wearing the bands provided by the hotel). We didn't mind so much the first day, but it continued every day of our stay. It was very difficult to find a chair (with or without an umbrella) by the pool unless you went out at 8 am to claim one. Even though the hotel policy says you cannot reserve chairs, we watched chairs be reserved in the early mornings and left unattended for most of the day.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The entire staff was great. Stephanie at the desk, Nick at the valet, Sherry in housekeeping, exceptional people. We had a situation arise and was taken well care of during our stay and they were very accommodating in our time of need. Thank you so much for making our vacation wonderful. Will be back to Hilton. Best place to stay!
Great beach location and the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! The rooms are very nice and the staff is very helpful and courteous. One of my favorite hotels for sure.
Valet was good and supposed to be free but we got charged for it when we checked out. Also gave us a double bed rather then 1 king size. Called to question our bill since we were overcharged $50 and they never returned our call. Location and staff were nice but a bit unorganized.
Checked in valet was great, even offered free valet parking due to overflow. Room super small and outdated! Three towels in the bathroom… Went to pool and had to check out towels with written paper receipt… I need to get Credit back on towels… Who takes a paper receipt to go to the water? Plus "spa was Ice cold and it took three walks back to the front desk to even get access to the indoor pool or beach.
Very courteous and helpful staff from the house keepers to the front desk. Junior suite in the newer taller building was very spacious with a great view and worth the extra money. Hotel was well maintained. Restaurant was a little pricey but good for breakfast and good to very good for dinner. Sushi was very good. Indoor heated pool was small. Outdoor pools were large with lots of chairs but I don't think they were heated. We will return to this Hilton next time we come back to Pensacola Beach.
They had friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. My friend had her baby with us and they did everything in their power to ensure we were taken care of. They gave us fruits and little snacks when we asked. Staff was always smiling and seemed more than happy to help us however they could. Upon asking the front desk, they let us extend our check out by just enough time to let baby finish her nap and for us to pack up. They then helped us carry our bags down to the lobby. I would happily stay here again in a heartbeat!
Second time here. First visit was for business second just because for a night with my fiancé. As before, staff was so friendly and professional. It's our go to to get away!
The staff at the Hilton was amazing I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at theor hotel. The envorpment here was extremely Clean, Friendly, and professional.
The staff was very friendly and accomadating. The prices were very reasonable. The pools and view were gorgeous as well as the beach. HBO and Internet are available for free. One of the elevators was under service while I was there but this wasn't too much of an inconvience. Also, there is an indoor pool and work out facility in case it's cold.
An extremely clean and fancy hotel with plenty to offer! With is being right on the beach, the views are way more than you could ask for. The rooms are very roomy, giving you plenty of space for friends and family to hangout. There is a kiddie pool right along the side of a decent sized pool for everyone else.
I recommend this hotel to all my family and friends, the room are large, plenty of room for a family. The view of the beach from my room was the best, the staff was very helpful, the food at the H20 restaurant was great and so was the staff. The location is convenient you can walk to most places. I will be coming back, Thanks for making my much needed vacation stress free.
Nice Hotel great location, beautiful view… Nice people. The front desk has provided everything we needed, also sent birth day card with a slice of cake for my wife, that was so nice of them and also gave us a free full brackfast as a courtesy.
Disappointed for an over $300.00/night stay! Our oceanfront room had a wonderful view, the pool and beach were awesome! The front desk staff was very good. Room service exceeded my expectations. However, when we arrived there was no one to help us in with the bags and we were asked to go park so other people could get in. We ended up carrying our own bags from the upper level parking lot. In the room, a piece of the dresser fell off as soon as I touched it. There was a mysterious pink pill embedded in the carpet-glad we did not have kids with us. The H2O restaurant was a huge disappointment-slow, not knowledgeable waiter and no frozen drinks. The food was good when we got it. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. The first day I came in from the beach about 230p and was able to get towels exchanged and some new glasses. The second day we were in the room when housekeeping arrived at 3p, so they gave us 10 minutes to get ready to go out and we left for a few hours. Came back and the room was not serviced-again swapped out towels and glasses. Didn't even expect cleaning the last day and it was there was none. As far as I know, the pink pill is still there. I expected more from a Hilton and at over $300.00 a night.
Great location where you can walk to most places. The lobby is great, it has Starbucks, a restaurant and bar, and is kept clean despite people coming in from the beach and pool all the time. Even though we did not have a beach front view or balcony, we looked over the bay. The rooms are looking worn and dated though as the carpet and furniture is looking tired. Biggest complaint was with housekeeping. By 2 PM they still had not gotten to our room. Oh, and one of the beds smelled like nasty feet or mildew like the bedding was washed and stayed wet. Not one of my finer Hilton stays.
Awesome Location, Awesome Hotel, Awesome restaurant, Awesome Staff! Good Job, keep it up! We'll be back… 4th or 5th stay here with NO issues!
I arrived at the hilton on Thursday checked in my room booked a king size with deluxe view thinking I would be looking at the ocean. Wrong my view was of the pool and the ocean. But no worries continued with my vacation because I'm here to relax and enjoy. Room is cleaned on yesterday wake up this morning and there were blue spots on the comforter. Surely not the world known hilton brand. I couldn't believe it not only dirty comforter. I woke up at 540 am to go walk the beach and enjoy. I comeback change clothes and go downstairs for breakfast while downstairs I make the complaint about this horrible comforter. Comeback upstairs to my room and five minutes later I get a knock at the door it's maintenence Ed Hill says I got a call from my front desk to come to this room. Let me remind you I'm just getting back to my room, I know this is a non smoking property, and on top of that I don't smoke. Ed goes on to say do you smell that I'm like smell what? At this point I'm still clueless I didn't call for maintenence I just got back to my room and if you smell Marijuana call the police why would you send maintenence instead of security. Smh so he goes on to say it's a 300.00 fine by this point I am livid. Call the front desk speak to the manager all she can do is offer to change my sheets and ask if I smoke. What an idiot clearly I don't smoke if I feel violated and insulted by this robo cop and friend knocking at my door. Hang up on her and decided forget it I will leave.
I loved my overall experience at the Hilton at Pensacola beach, however, I left my new apple watch in the room when we checked out and called a few hours later when I realized it was not in my luggage and the housekeeping services at this location did not turn my watch in. My husband and I went to this location for a beautiful first anniversary weekend and the Hilton had exceeded all of our expectations until this incident. We were greeted by friendly staff and the breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and the pool was fun, however, we left feeling violated that my watch was not turned in after it was left on the dining room table in a non-discreet location in our room.
Overrated! Hilton hotels in Europe and all over the world are way better that Hilton on Pensacola Beach. Slow service. Expensive but not a classy stay at all.
We reserved a 3 bedroom suite at over $500 a night and I expected more, to say the least. Upon arrival we were asked for a credit card for incidentals. We gave one and asked that it not be charged since we were paying in cash. The front desk clerk assured us that it was going to just be kept on file for incidentals. The next morning I received a call from the front desk stating that my card was not authorized for the amount of the stay and I informed the front desk of the conversation we had at check in with the other front desk clerk. I then realized that my card was charged for the full price of the stay and that I had over draft fees because of this issue. I asked to speak to the manager, so I was put on hold then someone picked up the phone and was laughing at the time they picked up and asked my name and how could they help me. So I asked if she was the manager and she was not, so I was put on hold again. When I did finally speak to the manager she said that she would get the issue with my card fixed as long as I paid the amount of the stay by 2 p. M. There was NEVER an apology for the inconvenience or miscommunication or for anything. At this same time that this was happening our hot water was not working. It was mysteriously coincidental that it started working again as soon as the room was paid for. Again, no notice and no apology. Also at the same time that this happened, 3 out of 5 card keys quit working.
Our family went there for the Mother's Day Brunch today at 1:00. We were all disappointed. For $48.00 per person, everyone expected something nice and a bit more upscale since it is the Hilton. It was like eating in a mess hall. Tables crammed into a convention room. No windows, lukewarm food. Didn't even include a free Mimosa. So basically, it sucked. We would have been better off going to Ryan's Buffet where the food is good and hot! Cheaper too.
We just spent a weekend at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. The room was spacious, attractive and clean. It included a king sized bed, sofa, chair and ottoman, lanai, mini fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options, including cooked to order items. The view was spectacular. We would definitely choose this hotel for our next visit to Pensacola Beach.
:I'm local to the area and wanted to give my wife a luxurious night out away from the kids, etc. I chose the Hilton based on reputation, reviews, even price. I reserved a king size room with delux view (overlooking the gulf), and asked the highest room in the tower that they could give me. I stayed in tower 1 on the 4th floor. The cost was about $225 per night. I understand we're staying on beach front property in a Hilton hotel, so it's going to cost a bit. However, my expectations were far from met. The room was average at best with many of the details severely overlooked. The ironing board pad was so thin that I felt like I was ironing directly onto the aluminum frame. The iron continuously leaked water onto my shirt. The hutch holding the microwave and mini fridge was rotting on the bottom. The dresser was all scratched up. The air vent over the bed wasn't securely fastened with a one inch gap between the vent and wall on one side. The TP holder is poorly placed such that I was forced to sit diagonally on the toilet. The showerhead was cheap and ancient. Even after agreeing to over $200/night, they still charge for Wi-Fi, and a movie rental on the TV was $14. The old paint is exposed in several places in the bathroom. The view of the gulf was great except for the other (I assume newer) tower blocking the view to the east. I asked for a manager to come to the room so I could point all of this out.
We stayed top floor ocean front. The view was Gorgeous! The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We will be staying again! (We stayed here February of 2014).
I stayed one night at the Hilton and the entire experience was to die for. The customer service is absolutely perfect, and our room was incredibly clean. All of our needs were accommodated for, and the view of the Gulf Coast and the pool below was beautiful. The balcony provided a wonderful view and certainly gave the room the deluxe feeling as advertised. The indoor pool was warm, and the hot tub was both clean and relaxing. All in all, the experience was everything I wanted. As an aside, there were only two minor things to complain about that I would like to address. Number one, the magnetic room cards are unreliable. Cell phones, static electricity, and even aluminum cans can all erase the magnetic strips charge, leaving on locked out of the indoor pool, work out room, and the hotel rooms. Guest services will happily replace them, but it is mildly inconvenient to have to visit so often. Number two, on my last visit nearly a decade ago, I had fond memories of using the indoor pool and then visiting the sauna room afterwards. As my memory was fuzzy, I couldn't seem to find the sauna room or remember quite where it was. I saw a man wearing a security vest and asked for directions to the sauna, where upon I was laughed at and told there wasn't one. He then insinuated that I had been drinking and said that I shouldn't go to the pool and workout room intoxicated. I had remembered the sauna being near these facilities and so looked in the general area for it.
The room wasn't a bust, but I wasn't in love with the stay. The door either had paint on the latch assembly or it was put in by a 2yo. Every time we left the room it was like trying to break in to Fort Knox. Jiggle the handle up down, pull the handle towards you to make sure it was fully closed, etc etc. Room 701. BEWARE I don't remember putting sand on my sheets, but there was sand on my sheets. I'm going to take half the blame and give the other half to poor cleaning crews because I honestly DONT recall me putting anything sandy on the sheets. WHY WOULD I DO THAT ON PURPOSE?!?! the internet is 9.95. So be prepared to pay or use hotspot. We didnt visit the restuarant. But I bought a little thing of milk from their "convenience stand". It was $1.11, so not too bad. THERE IS NO SAUNA! and NO INDOOR JACUZZI! a few reviews said sauna in them, when I got there, there was a room that could've BEEN a sauna, but definitely NO sauna. Maybe it was broken. Maybe they're changing it into something else. But whatever. I was my hopes shot for sure. Sighs. Other than that though, the lobby is very nicely decorated. Makes you think your room will be AMAZING. It is not haha. There's $5 valet or free parking. And a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The thing u lift to change the air was broken, so it definitely fell off and scared the crap out of me. Smh Had a king size bed overlooking the bay and not the ocean front. I wasn't impressed but I wasn't 100% satisfied either.
Let me begin a list. 1. We booked the hotel in August and the day before we arrived I called and they said that the reservation was cancelled (unbeknownst to us — PANIC). 2. It took 5 phone calls to get a crib added in our room? The last representative finally booked us one which took 5 seconds. Why was it so hard? 3. We paid lots of money (no we are NOT well off) for a junior suite and the TV didn't work and all they said was "sorry there is nothing we can do. " (what! ) 4. The hotel is obviously money hungry. Breakfast is very expensive and so are all meals. 5. My internet wouldn't work because they said I put in the wrong last name. We were all under one name? After calling the customer service line from the hotel multiple times and getting no where, I gave up and didn't have internet my whole vacation (no TV either! ) 6. After a less than acceptable vacation stay, I wrote the general manager and other managers on the property about everything we encountered and have yet to receive an apology email or ANYTHING. Try other hotels.
We stayed at the Hilton Pensacola Beach for four nights last week. This is the third year in a row we have stayed there at this time of the year. Before we even arrived, "Nick" from reservations called just to check on us and see if we needed anything. We are Hhonors gold members and received an upgrade to a suite on the end of the hotel facing the Gulf. From breakfast in the H2O restaurant to the poolside bar, the friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will DEFINITELY bee back next year.
We are so very impressed by the wonderful accommodations of this establishment. Our guests came in from all over the country for our daughters wedding June 2014. The service was absolutely the best ever and Mr. Anthony did an outstanding job in helping with all our last minute needs! Everyone commented on the wonderful and courteous staff members as well as the breathtaking views of the gulf. Thank you again Mr. Anthony for a beautiful place for our out of town guests! Sincerely, Mr and Mrs John Gazoo.
I have been going to the Hilton Pensacola for years Loved the location and Restaurant H2O. But the decline in the rooms are extremely disappointing. My room was not properly cleaned and there were BEDBUGS! My daughter and I were covered in bites. I reported it to the front desk and I believe they dismissed it. I have never experienced bedbugs before, it was very painful and took a week for the pain to go away. I can never return after this horrible experience. The hallways had a very unpleasant smell w/ carpet that looked like it was from the 80's as did the room. It felt like a 2star hotel. I was shocked and saddened by the unkept room that cost over $250 a night. The only redeeming quality was the restaurant H2O which is not reason enough to stay there. Management did offer me complementary stay in the future, but I can not bring my self to go back. Renovations and better upkeep, cleaner rooms a must! Beware.

I came here for my Birthday with a friend and this place is absolutely amazing and the views are breath taking I highly recommend anyone to stay here I'm from Somerset Kentucky and I literally fell in love with this beach,
