Very homey feel. Front desk clerk very nice and welcoming. Traveled a very long distance was very nice to come in to a clean room. Super comfy bed.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Completely dirty and disgusting. The exterior doors of the hotel don’t lock at night. They have been putting a bandage on deep wound. This place smells and needs to be completely renovated. There is mold in the bathrooms and coffee pots are dirty with old residue. This place is a Safety concern for any family. Stay away. Made complaint with the main headquarters and haven’t heard back.

We really liked it. We've stayed at 4 other hotels close by and Econo — Lodge was by far the best. This time we will return to the E Lodge, no more hotel hopping.

Helpful staff, clean room, reasonable continental breakfast. I had a special request when I checked in and they were very accommodating. Good value. Would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

My room is spacious and very friendly staff and owners. My bed is so comfy and clean bathroom and room.

What a dump! Mold on ceiling, peeling wallpaper in bath, peeling finish on mini fridge, dirty linoleum floor in room, no HD on TV, noisy door closers. Breakfast was a joke — nothing hot unless you put it in the microwave. Never again.

Looks better on the outside. Rooms need updating. Not the cleanest place either. Pet friendly.

Good beds. Good Wi-Fi. Breakfast not so good.

Very nice associates at front desk young man at the front desk in the evening sat and Sunday very helpful with information will always come back also this is our 4th time here.

Under renovation, debris everywhere. Rooms clean but musty. Long hairs on three of the four towels. Wi-Fi intermittent. I was told it was my firewall, until other guests complained as well. Were not going to give me my money back as I had 'used' the room for fifteen minutes. This was the first fifteen minutes I was there and verified the Wi-Fi wasn't working. I threatened to call the police so I could get a report for a future case in court, then they relented. They finally rebooted their router, and voila! Wi-Fi was working again! I stayed, although it was because it was late, I was tired. Next trip I'll stay elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay! Our room was clean and spacious. A very nice place to stay for the reasonable rates. They are in remodeling/updating process. The free continental breakfast offered a large selection. We would stay here again! There are quite a few hotels in this area and we weren't sure which to choose but we were happy with this choice!

Less than 1 star. Awful. Old and rundown. Musty and smelly to the point of waking me from sleep. Just started remodel but still renting 30yo nasty rooms and charging full pet fees. Property is like a garbage dump trash everywhere. No gym or business ctr and furniture everywhere and construction starts at 8am. Uncomfortable in every way. Generic poor quality food for breakfast. Close down and finish reno!

Awesome for the price. It's a full service normal North American hotel. The two star rating means it doesn't have the services of higher star locations but the things it does have are all modern functional and clean. I'm delighted at the low price for high quality; people who complain must not know that all of the more expensive hotels offer exactly the same beds, showers, walls, doors, ice machines, and corporate offices. Very Norman Rockwell decor, even a nice Christmas tree set up by the Shri Asaram Corp that runs this particular one. Breakfast is just danishes or cold cereal and closes at 9 am, too early!

I am a smoker so I appreciate it that they say you can smoke there. But I cleaned my own filters in the air conditioner / heater and the vet still needed to be cleaned in the wall unit. The people are very nice though.

NO! We weren't in the room more than 15 min and we had fleas all over us! My husband's ankles r red and covered in bites. The guy at the front desk didn't say a word except, "well I guess someone snuck in a dog" Uh… No, u allow dog's and u don't clean! No apology, nothing. We grabbed our money back and ran!

Older facility. But clean. Continental was average… packaged muffins,, pkg sausage biscuit, bananas about to brown. Nothing hot except for microwave. But good value for the price we paid (corporate rate).

We used this hotel for evacuation during hurricane Irma. The hotel staff was very polite and accommodating. Also, they helped us to get a room without a reservation. The pool was clean. The breakfast was free but all boxed items, wish there was some cooked items like bacon and eggs but I know this is an economy hotel so oh well.

The pillows were flat and it smelled like old musty dirt in the rooms. Beside the stairs there was old furniture and scrap air conditioning units just piled up and threw in the corner. I think it just needs a good deep cleaning. We were just passing through and needed a few hours of rest so its good enough for that. Personally, I wouldn't stay there for an extended period of time though.

Extremely musty smell in the room after a few days, possibly from air conditioner but also drawers were musty, couldn't store clothes in them. Phone in room didn't work at all! No screens in window, top floor, could open window all the way! Kinda dangerous. Also stair doors were locked! Elevator only? What if there was a fire? Pool was locked. Shower was terrible. Very pressurised, very tiny streams of water shooting everywhere but where you wanted, couldn't control it at all, cloth shower curtain blankets your body, water pours out of shower from cloth curtain clinging to you the whole time… Tip your maid personally, if you leave it in the room, the owners take it before maids get there. Coffee maker was broken but they replaced it. Might as well go get coffee elsewhere. Expect coffee, OJ, bagels, bananas, and microwavable sausage biscuits for breakfast. Good for basic need stays, wouldn't recommend for long stays. We'll try somewhere else next time.

I rate this hotel a (-100 ⭐️) not a 1 ⭐️ We pulled in at 1am went to the room the air conditioner was broke so I went back to the front desk asked for another room so we moved 2 doors down room smelled horrible said what the hell we're sleepy, so we went to get in the bed pillows and sheets damp feeling and then the bugs started coming from every where (guess we woke them up). Needless to say we cancelled the room and continued our 5hr drive home. (The lady at front office was very helpful and nice).

I didn't have too much trouble with my stay. With plenty of food places around, it was easy to get dinner. The two bedroom setup was comfy, and using my firestick I was able to lounge. I only found the breakfast options to be lacking.

This place is a joke! The rooms smell moldy, they're muggy, the bed spring sprung when I laid on it, the breakfast is ridiculous and it's a damn shame we were too tired to drive further. The only upside was that the young lady who works overnight was a sweetheart.

First, the door wouldn't lock. We checked another door across from us, and it wouldn't lock either. The maintenence man, after a few minutes of trying various things, said we would have to lift hard to pull it closed. While my boyfriend was able to do that I couldn't lift it and pull hard enough to close the door myself so my bf had to be there every time I needed to exit the room. Extremely inconvenient. Plus we were placed in a room directly next to a family with a baby. There's maybe 8 rooms in the entire hotel in use right now, but they place us right next to each other. They should have offered us another room for either or both instances.

Not a bad hotel, decent price to stay and in a busier part of town. No Wi-Fi — which is essential and reason for only 3 stars. I would suggest bringing your own pillow. Overall we would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Right from the front door it was awful. The lobby wreaked of cigarette smoke. The entire hotel had a damp and moldy smell to it including the hallways. The room looked fair with the exception of the bathroom floor being sticky and the mirror had hand prints all over it. The air conditioner was so loud that it was impossibly to sleep, which not going to happen anyway, the bedding was extremely itchy. We tried to call down to the lobby but the phone didn't work. The next morning we went to the desk to complain. When they had such a poor attitude we asked for the corporate number and address. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO US! We then went to the "gym". It was a small room with 3 pieces of equipment, one of which didnt work. The room smelled so bad and everything was rusty and had mold everywhere. My husband got sick after about 10 minutes so we had to leave. Would have complained again but no one was at the desk, which wasnt unusual. The 2nd night we were rudely awaken by the refrigerator. It had frozen some sodas we had in it. They exploded so hard it blew the door open and soda all over the room. The following morning we complained again and asked for the corporate number and address. They refused again. We made it through that night without incident but not much sleep and checked out. Again we complained and asked for the number and address for the corporate office with no satisfaction. Was this an isolated incident?

When we arrived the young lady at the front desk we very friendly and nice. When we got to our rooms we were in shock. The rooms were not very clean. I was totally disgusted that evening when I turned back the covers on one of the beds and found hair in the bed. I had to have them bring in clean linens. I went in to take a shower and found that one of the towels was dirty. It had spots and hairs on it. In my father's room there were roaches. I would never stay there again nor would I advise anyone else to stay there.

We arrived at about 9:00 pm. The lobby was beautiful. The lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. The price was very reasonable. The room was great. It was spotless and so was the bathroom. We had a non smoking king room. We will definitely come back again when we are coming through to Pensacola again.

Worst place I've ever stayed. During check in first room is a complete mess and smell like smoke. The second room beds have bugs and to top it off, I had to lift my room door to lock it. First and last time.

Room was clean, front desk personnel were polite, but not very welcoming. Hotel needs attention to detail. Curtains, bedding even the landscaping look like nobody cares. I was afraid the room would be disgusting, but it was clean, and no odors. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Seriously, 1 rack of plastic wrapped bagels, and coffee — that was it. This could be a great hotel, lobby has some character. Good location.

The carpet was dirty and I had a baby crawling so I had to put socks on her hands so she can crawl. A towel that my brother was about to use had a hair on it. The waffles for breakfast were good because it was freshly made, even though we had to do it ourselves. The muffins were good too as well as the cofee and that's all the breakfast I remember they had. Then again what does people expect to find in a hotel room that many many people have been throught.

I stay at hotels 7 days a week. This is the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at hands down. I'm fully clothed, laying in the bed; trying not to touch anything. What a rip off.

We stayed there Thanksgiving weekend. Its a decent hotel, all though the breakfast wasn't very good. The faculty was nice and helpful. Would not mind staying there again.

My husband, daughter and I just spent 4 days at the American Inn and Suites in Marianna and we will NEVER stay there again. We had 2 King size rooms and both of them were dirty upon arrival. Both bathrooms had to be wiped down before we could use them, the next morning I told the Hotel Manager and she said "Oh, well I had to fire that 3rd floor cleaning person yesterday". I asked that the mirror and counter in the bathroom be cleaned while we were out. Nothing was done in the bathroom and behind the door a dead bug was still on the floor. On our third day there I forgot something in the room and went to get it and put my key card in my daughter's room by mistake and low and behold it opened right up, when I realized what I had done I thought what in the world? Well later I told my husband and daughter and we tried all our keys not only in our rooms but others on that floor and the first floor they all opened any room we tried. Talk about a Thief's Paradise I would say American Inn in Marianna is just that. They have cats and dogs running all over the place and the furniture. How nasty. The front area was so dusty you could write your name on the furniture and under the chairs and one of the chairs was totally disgusting. The breakfast was okay but ran out long before all the guests ate. The orange juice dispenser gave you water not juice. All the employees were always out side talking and laughing instead of working. Total rip off, don't go there.
