Manager was rude, disrespectful, threatening us there was no heat and TV didn’t work manager left and would not refund my second night as I decided to leave I did not need to be treated like that, said she was charging me for my 2 little dogs that she knew about when I checked in and the broken TV that was broken when we got there Owner needs to take a good look at who he has managing the place. The manager seemed strung out or high.

Quaint, peaceful motel with a homely feel. The perfect retreat. The view of the river was what I enjoyed most.

The Swanee River is adjacent to the Motel… Old, but clean… we slip away every chance we get. Quiet, great restaurants…

Favorite place to stay. Clean and comfortable rooms, great staff and right on the Suwannee River. Great local restaurants close by too. Only place I’ll ever stay here in Old Town.

AAA good place to spend the night to see the Beauty swanne river. And swim and the pool.

Good little hotel. It was about $89 for a 2 bed room. The room was pretty clean, and it had a good hot shower. Good AC, and a firm, comfortable bed. Room came with a coffee pot, some coffee, some soap, and some towels. Good fridge and microwave. The pool really needs to be cleaned, but overall this hotel was pretty good. They just need to clean the pool, and fix the pool shower. Nice staff. Keep up the good work!

Have stayed on here several occasions, beautiful place, plus wonderful hosts looking after us, we usually pass through on our travels over from the UK.

It was a nice location right on the suwanee river. The owners where supper nice I would recommend a visit.

Got there late at night and felt a little price gouging was taking place for the location, etc… but room was very clean and laid out well with small balcony in back. I would stay there again for a night if just passing through traveling.

Overnight stay, paid too much but great location for a quiet night on the Swanee River.

Beautiful lobby great pool. On the river. But I haven't been in the rooms. They also have cabins. We pay 5$ to swim in pool.

Nice neat room, beautiful view, good fishing and nice folks run the place. My mom and I have stopped here on road trips and I once stayed here for 5 days of the Christmas holiday just to fish and forget about all the commercialized craziness.

Booked expecting a 3-4 star stay but the reviews must be fake. Dated but would have been fine if we didn't have stains on the blankets and sheets and burns on them. The room smelled like cigarettes real bad in a non smoking room. Then to top it off dirty bathrooms and NO HOT WATER! Not how we wanted to end out night after a full day of scuba diving at the springs. I'll sleep in my 2 door coupe before staying there again.

Overall a nice place to stay. Brand new sheets and clean room. Nice small balcony off the back.

Do not stay there. Nothing like the description. We made this reservation online based on reviews which were definitely not truthful. Motel room was dirty, including the bathroom. The recliner was broken and covered with stains. The comforter looked grungy so we covered the recliner with it. Pillows were decent, but the mattress uncomfortable. The grounds were terrible. There was junk lying around everywhere. Landscaping was brown and mostly dead, including the many potted plants. The pool looked nice, but based on the rest of the place we would not take a chance on the water quality.

I stayed at the motel nov 3 2017 2 nights came from Miami to see my son stayed till Sunday a couple of hours the owner charge me same rate for a couple of hours he told me rate was 79 night and charge me 89 night and 89 for 4 hours extra … the motel smell and the dock was falling down I have to come every two weeks down here but for sure not staying their.

Rented 2 rooms there for 4 days running from the hurricane. So glad we stopped there. The rooms were clean, great beds and the back deck overlooking the Suwannee River was lovely. Town lost electric and some stormy weather passed us too. Owners couldn't be more accommodating. Felt secure from storm and high enough so flooding was not an issue. Well built building. Internet was weak through block walls but all you had to do was step outside. We will be going on vacation there, and it is definitely our go to place when the next hurricane hits the FL Keys. And my large dog was welcome. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You made the hurricane less stressful for my family.

We hadn't planned to stay here, but our vehicle broke down half a mile from this hotel. A nice couple stopped and gave us a ride here. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We could walk to everthing we needed for our stay for the night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality.

Description highly over rated this place. The cabins were in disrepair, the kitchen was not stocked with eating utensils or towels and the kitchen faucet was falling apart, the bathroom shower was falling apart and we could not get their free Wi-Fi. The only part of the review that was right is it was right on the river. Steer clear unless they do some major remodeling.

Basically the guy at the front desk was super nice. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. Besides that this room was hot when we went in, we were looking forward to seeing the Suwanee river behind the hotel. It was a complete mess. It looked like it had been that way for a long time. I do not want to cause trouble for this motel just wanted them to know that paying $95 a night was absolutely ridiculous for what we seen. We had termites in our sink while I was brushing my teeth. There were termites in the shower! They were all over my car when we went to leave the next morning and the building beside our room was swarmed with termites! it was awful. I feel like we should have been reimbursed at least half of our cost for this but I know it will not happen. Again this has nothing to do with the very nice man at the front desk. They really need to fix these problems. If I had read the reviews before hand I would have never stayed there.

The hotel cleaning service stole multiple hundreds of dollars between our groups rooms. Management was hostile and confrontational when accused of said crimes. Having my personal belongings rummaged through as well as my roommates money stolen is a complete violation of privacy. Avoid this below average hotel and it's even worse management.

Very nice remodeled rooms with Deck overlooking river. Host was very friendly.

Old Florida at its finest. Sweet people that run it made sure we where happy and helped us with the sights to see. Springs, winery, antiquing. The property it's right on the Suwannee we stayed next to it! We stayed in the back, cabin like rooms very large and cozy with a kitchen that joined our rooms.

It was a huge disappointment for me. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, but the room was very substandard. For $89 I got an uncomfortable king-size bed facing a half finished ceiling. Half of the lights didn't work, the TV wouldn't change channels and worse of all, no toilet paper. The last wouldn't be too bad except by the time you figure out that there is none left, or any back up, you are in a bad spot. The motel has a ton of potential but I felt a bit taken.

The owners Mr. And Mrs. Doshi are very nice people I have known them since I was a kid and my grandma used to work for them they keep their rooms clean they have a pool out front that is always clean & handicap accessible. If you go out back they have grills, a pavilion, benches, and a nice view of the river. I have spent a couple nights up there their beds are always soft and the rooms smell clean. I'd recommend it to any1 who is traveling and looking for a nice place to stay by the suwannee river.

Old school Florida. I've had better room and the grounds could use a little upkeep but my sons wanted to stay. He caught catfish from the dock and the food across the street is great. This place works for us.

I took my kids there to swim for the day. Very nice place, clean and kid friendly. The owner also let my son fish off the docks there.

Very lovely little Motel. Clean rooms, clean grounds. It was nice to be able to put our jetskis in the river right from the hotel. If we are ever going down the Suwannee again, this is the place we will stay.

The night manager was definitely under the influence of some kind of hard drug, from what I could tell it was most likely meth. Not only that but it took the guy that stayed next door to us 45 mind to get her to come out of the room she was staying in, so that he could check out. The office doors was always locked and nobody was ever inside to help with anything. I would advise just driving farther away from this place to find somewhere with actual service.

No don't go there mold on shower walls people fighting an an they told me all out of downstair rooms an the person right behind me got a downstairs room what's up with that.

The place was gross. We had to kill palmetto bugs (that's plural) in the one night we stayed. When you have to debate to shower in the disgusting shower or not to shower and which way would be cleaner… there's a big problem. And they have the nerve to charge almost $100.00 for that.

Great place for staying if you're going out on the river. Room was clean. Place was quiet at night. Place was obviously dated in style and appliances, but the fact that its on the most beautiful river in the state more than makes up for it.
