Older hotel, looks like they replaced the carpet and tile but the shower walls are in bad shape. Thin walls…

Our room was clean and comfortable. Roger, the breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Excellent hospitality. Breakfast was wonderful as well as my great conversation with Roger. Great staff.

There were a lot of roaches in the Room… even though the ppl r kind, the roaches make it not so inviting.

Roger was the very BEST! He greeted everyone like they were family & had the patience of Jobe. Roger kept plenty of food available & the tables tidy. Feels like we are leaving an old friend.

Disgusting. I booked through Expedia. We own a moving company and travel the Atlantic coast every 3 weeks, so I am fully aware of what hotels to stay away from. I checked in went to the room and was sick. The room is dingy smelly and out dated. I stood in the room about one second. Drove to the front desk leaving my husband and employee at the water hole front. She could not change rooms and offered no assistance. So I said I would call Expedia. I drove back to the water hole to get my cell phone from my husband then proceeded to get in the phone with Expedia for 20 minutes. After watching all the riff raff and traffic milling about we decided while on hold to Expedia to go to a different hotel. Thank God for the Hamptons. I had to pay for 2 rooms but it is so much cleaner and comfiy. Expedia is denying my request for cancellation because we sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes on hold with them. They considered us checked in. I would not put my pet ferret in that room.

Cleaned and very comfortable. Awesome location. My only disappointment was that the pool was dirty and we missed out. However we will stay here again.

This was a disgusting hotel. If I could give 0 stars I would. The first room we were in had mold and reeked… like stale and musty nasty smell (like a dead body. ) We asked to be transferred to a different room which they did. In that room the front door handle was broken and we could not even get in. The 3rd room was better (no mold) but still had the old, moldy smell. I will never stay here again and I recommend that you don't either. It needs a complete makeover and upgrade. The only plus was that the front desk guy was very helpful and upbeat.

It was clean with minimal amenities and an acceptable breakfast. The guy at the desk when we checkin in around 10 was super nice and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Orlando and the surrounding area.

The rooms are clean decent, it's close to an actual bar, a decent Asian restaurant, and a fishing lake. That's all within a quarter-mile or under. The continental breakfast has a waffle maker which is nice.

Very good breakfast, pool and rooms but I had a problem: the water in the tub did not drain, which was solved in a matter of hours but there in more all very well.

Great place! Customer service is excellent! Sebrenna was extra attentive and took care of us after my wife mistakenly booked a smoking room. She also gave us some local advice on where to eat. Great rooms, great price. Great breakfast bar too! Really enjoyed our stay!

Clean hotel with beautifully maintained landscaping. Little dock for picnic or pictures. Relaxing comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave. Location is right on a main road with many options for food, grocery, and activities. Management is a little heavy handed enforcing guest limit but otherwise a nice place to spend a few nights.

I've stayed here about 10 times. Every time has been great, the best prices in town and it's in a good area of mt. Dora. Right next to Walmart.

Nothing but a drug infested hotel. Very dirty rooms and also watch your credit card bill after staying here! They over charged my card $199.00. Then when I call and question them the front desk person is very rude! Now I have to dispute this with my card company. Not rite to have to deal with all this because this hotel can not do there job! I would not recommend staying at this hotel!

Very friendly staff! The hotel was next to a nice lake and close to restaurants and stores. Rooms were okay but there was mold in the shower and around the toilet.

The inn is old no elevator relatively clean and you can hear folks in the other rooms. I personally would not stay there again. Outside overlooks small lake which is pretty.

Great place! Fairly priced, wonderful staff, clean pleasant rooms, will stay there again & happily recommend rhem to family and friends.

I love the pond here. The suites are perfect. Very convenient, next to froggers and an awesome Pho restaurant. Close to Walmart, Ross etc. I stay here every time in town. Don is a great manager.

This place had seen better days. The units on the lake may be nicer, but do not stay on the side with the bar. Horrible experience and dirty room. If it wasn't so late we would have left.

We were very pleased with our choice! After searching online for hotels near Mt. Dora, we decided on this one based on the price and photos. We were so pleased with our two-night stay and will definitely return. Sabreena (spelling? ) was so pleasant at check-in and the gentleman who coordinated the free breakfast service was wonderful, too. Our king-bed suite upstairs at the very end of the second building was super clean, nicely equipped with two TVs, microwave, refrigerator and sofa, and even featured a balcony overlooking the pond. The property is very convenient, located on US 441, yet it's also quiet and feels private. We highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed during Hurricane irma. Breakfast was nothing to rush to get. The gentleman working the area for breakfast was super friendly. Pool was good and the grass area was nice for the kids to play. Refused to issue a refund for checking out early even the gov issued a request stating they have to because they had no power.

Really sweet service from the lobby/counter guy. Was quiet while we were there. Kid friendly, soda machine (you must have cash for) free ice you get out of a machine, a small pool, a gazebo right on the lake and free breakfast in the morning.

Room had mold and dust on and behind furniture. No hot water. Handicap parking block with a broke down car. Housekeeping was great is the only thing good about this place.

Great place, if you just need some down time which that was my reason for staying, its perfect. I was upgraded to another room without any additional charge, because the room I originally book was not a smoke free room as listed. The staff was very hospitable.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Very CLEAN and SAFE rooms. Beautiful lakeside views on the west side. I highly recommend it!

Stayed here last year (was good), but on this visit there was blood on the sheets, dead roaches in the ice from their machine with hard beds and a tub that wouldn't drain. Lake is nice, hotel is a dump So I complained 3 days in a row about tub not draining with nothing done. For 100 bucks I would've e, elected much better. Don't waste your money go to best western.

It was clean and quiet but only had double beds. Bathroom nice size.

Absolutely disgusting — mold/hair/rust/clogged plumbing. Paid $100 for a $5.00 gross pigstye. Place should be closed down leveled and turned into a garbage landfill — It's 90% there as is.

Clean, held a room for us arriving last minute at 12am. Friendly staff. Wasn't grossed out at all but the sheets could been nicer. Will be back.

Me my husband and kids stayed the night booked 2 nights in advance when we arrived the front desk was trying to slide my card again when it was already paid for the room looked clean but the tub had a bad slope in it and when you turned on the light/fan it sounded like someone was screaming in the ceiling went for a late night swim had way too much clorine in it went to go to bed to find out the toilet runs non stop wasn't impressed with the breakfast options and found out it was more to pay in advance then to pay on spot : (not horrible but not the greatest :)

Only 1 night stay. Had a nice room guess the suite had a separate sofa and TV in 1 room and 2 queen beds in the other with TV also. Plenty of towels. Staff at front desk were very friendly and fresh coffee all day in breakfast room. Overall I would give it a 5

Extremely clean and the beds were big and comfy! The staff was so nice. The two ladies gave us great tips on where to go and where to eat. Even the housekeeping staff was nice! The view from the room was beautiful. NO bugs, NO complaints. We will be staying there again when we return in the summer.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Mount Dora. We had a suite, rm. 243. The room was spacious, with a separate living room. The room was very comfortable, 2nd floor with a balcony and a great view of the lake! The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, ironing board/iron, a safe and 2 TVs. The only thing I we had an issue with is the loud AC unit in the bedroom. The room came with 2 AC units so we used the one in the living room only, to avoid the noise while we slept. Other then that, the room was great! It's a great location, a few minutes to down town Mount Dora and the Renninger's Antique Center & Farmer's Flea Market. There is a bar & grill right next door, if needed (though I wouldn't recommend the food). Thank you Quality Inn & Suites.

Beds were hard. Bathroom needed updating. Room smelled. Breakfast was pathetic. Definitely overpriced for what you received. I definitely didn't get what I paid for…

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The property is conveniently located off of 441. That said, the physical plant of the building is somewhat sketchy, but I knew going in this was not the Ritz. The pool needed some attention. It was obvious attempts had been made to "spruce up" the place, but a zillion coats of paint didn't cut it. But, room was spacious and VERY clean, which is the most important thing to me. The tub showed no signs of mold, which is remarkable in humid Florida and the room was not musty. The fridge & microwave were a nice touch. If you're just looking for a quiet & clean place to crash on your travels, this fits the bill.

Our trucking company reimburses drivers for rooms at Choice Hotels while we wait for a load so we can do laundry, get a hot shower and relax. This hotel is near our main office so is the go to by most of the drivers. Sometimes we will be there the entire stay and other times only a few hours. This is not my first rodeo been a driver for 30 years and have stayed here as has many of my coworkers. But tonight Friday June 10, 2016 will be our last and will ensure our company and other drivers are aware. We checked in at 3:00 pm by a lovely woman who was helpful and knew how to do her job well but our load was ready by 11:00pm so my wife went to check us out and get our receipt. Now there is a man on duty and he says he can't give us a receipt but will email one. Wife tells him we need it to get reimbursed since our company is nearby and I have NEVER left a hotel without getting my receipt so my card can be charged and finalized. After 20 minutes of back and forth he gave her a receipt telling her it was going to mess his accounting up since he usually does reconciliation at 4:00 am and we leave finally receipt in hand. At 5:30am we receive an alert on our phone for a charge on our card for $160.38 from Quality Inn and Suites an obvious double charge for our room which was $80.19 so my wife calls and this same rude man tells her our bank put a hold on our card and won't even listen to her or check for a double charge said we had to wait 3-5 days for the extra $80.

Great location off 441 and close to a lot of eateries. Beds could be a bit more comfortable but can complain too much.

Fine place to stay for the money.

Nothing saw the rate on line. Went there and an ignorant woman told me I was lying about the rate. Pulled it up on my phone and was like I dont care. Used to stay never again, I suggest u dont either. Id rather pay more and get someone who is polite then ignorance and attitude.

Very clean, modern, quiet! We stayed at Quality Inn & Suites Mount Dora, FL, and as usual we had a good visit. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, and linens. Very clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff, quick check in and best of all a great healthy Continental Breakfast. I recommend this hotel to every one.

Another great stay! The office staff were courteous and let us leave our rig while we rode our bikes out for a few days. The breakfast bar was clean with hot coffee, waffles, and the biscuit and gravy were fresh. The rooms were clean and convenient to where we could park our rig. The desk clerk even checked it daily while we were away. Now we try to stay at Quality Inns where ever we go, we have never been treated with anything but complete care and attention to the needs of each Individual stay. We will continue to stay at Quality Inns where ever we can during our journeys. I wish they had a quick locate app/map for android phones to put on my home screen.

Loud party of smokers outside of our door. Evidently a fav of tradesmen. Queen bed is a large double. Room has refrigerator and microwave. Member of Choice Hotel system which expires points faster than we can use them. Noisy party bar next door.
