John and Arthur are exceptional hosts. They are warm and welcoming and the breakfasts are wonderful! We have stayed here three or four times in the past few years and each time our experience has been relaxing and very enjoyable.

Adora Inn is probably my favorite Bed and Breakfast ever. My husband and I were very impressed with the breakfast. Arthur and John were truly a treat to chat with too. We will definitely be returning to Adora Inn.

This is now our favorite B&B while visiting Mount Dora. The owners are very hospitable and will give you recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing etc. The location is very quiet and you will certainly get a good nights sleep (very comfortable beds). The breakfast was all home made including the juice, and coffee is available all day. We also had a packed breakfast going home (scones and turnovers) that was a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend saying there. Thanks guys!

We stayed for one night a d it felt like an entire weekend. Comfortable bed and well appointed room. The food (breakfast) was so delicious, home made scones, fresh fruit salad, wonderful coffee and a beautiful spinach, ricotta & mushroom frittata! Are you hungry yet!?
Easy short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Gracious hosts and outstanding food makes for a wonderful, restful stay.

Arthur and Jon were perfect hosts, we had to place almost to ourselves since it was a little off-season. The breakfast was superb and the place is a very adorable and in walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience! We stayed in the treehouse which is top floor… look out the windows and you are in the trees! Our hosts John and Arthur were engaging, sweet and made an amazing breakfast! Would highly recommend to anyone how charming and cute the Adora Inn is!

We had a wonderful experience at the Adora Inn this past weekend! The owners were delightfully charming, full of interesting stories, and wonderful chefs! The food was absolutely wonderful. It is located near Historical downtown and plenty of cute little places to nibble and drink wine. Daytime there are beautiful old houses to see and lots of great small town shopping. Thank you gentlmen for a great experience!

We just left our beautiful Treehouse Room at this 5-star stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view with natural lighting that came in through all the windows that made it feel so fresh and airy The owners were so helpful and understanding with all my dietary restrictions and even made me a gluten-free, vegan breakfast that was SO delicious! They are so talented and artistic — the home is over 100 years old, but their beautiful modern art is incorporated all throughout the house and gives the house a great balance of modern and historic. The Innkeepers were also very knowledgeable about Mount Dora and offered suggestions on places to eat and what to see during our stay. I’m sad to leave so soon and will be returning here for our next visit. Thank you, both for such a relaxing and enjoyable time!

What a fabulous few days! Not only is the home absolutely beautiful but our Inn Keepers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They made us feel right at home! The food was fantastic the atmosphere lovely! I adore Mount Dora and I have a new favorite bed and breakfast! Thank you gentlemen.

Felt like being welcomed into someone's home. The host were fantastic and provided us with a detailed map of the area and gave us great recommendations for dinner. John and Arthur were very accommodating to my vegan needs and made sure to include small details like almond milk for coffee in the morning and even provided vegan breakfast options. Highly suggest staying in the Vanilla room as it is very spacious and private.

Really perfect in every way! The food is The Best! And one of the meals was vegan,,,,, absolutely delicious! My daughter took home the extra vegan scones,,,, so good she couldn't leave them. We chose the Adora Inn from all the rave reviews. Thank you Arthur and John. You made our stay Awesome. We couldn't have been happier.

We highly recommend the Adora Inn. For a warm and friendly experience, John and Arthur are amazing hosts who are in tune with the local area. The breakfasts are deliciously created. We always feel quite at home and welcomed. The entire house is decorated in modern style with a personal touch. Located extremely close to the charming Mt. Dora historic area, most travelers will not even need to drive at all during their stay. My wife surprised me with this getaway because we had such a great time the last time we stayed at the Adora Inn. What a great way to expolre Mt. Dora, Florida!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Adora! Arthur and John turned this historic home into a cozy, welcoming place to relax after enjoying the local restaurants and shops. They even provided a map and recommendations for the quick walk into town. Breakfast was a flavorful treat with fresh ingredients and engaging conversation. We stayed in the Vanilla room on the top floor, which was light and airy with lots of windows and a soft bed. We would definitely stay again.

Delightfully close to downtown Mt Dora. The Periwinkle room was quiet, clean with a great view. Innovative and delicious breakfast offerings from 2 very fine chefs. A throughly relaxing experience from two very accomplished inn keepers? Thank you Arthur and John!

We were in Mt. Dora to take care of some personal business matters but decided to book a b and b to have some fun. We had a great time and would recommend the inn to anyone. Close to everything and such attention to everything. Very welcoming and food was great. Will return.

First class stay at Adora Inn! My wife and I went to Mt. Dora just to relax and have nothing on the agenda for once. John took our reservation last minute and he and Arthur were great hosts. Room was great. All in all a wonderful stay. Bed and gourmet breakfast here!

Exceeded Expectations! Stayed two nights, celebrating our 26 years wedding anniversary. Warm welcoming from Arthur to the beautiful house which have been very well maintained. Our room was scrupulously clean bed and bathroom. The careful attention to details made this a beautiful stay. I loved the wilds flowers arrangements in my night stand and also at the dinning room table. Breakfast was of excellent quality and delicious. John & Arthur, Biagio and I appreciate very much your kind hospitality. Keep up the amazing job!

In my life, I have traveled the world. I have enjoyed meals in 20+ countries. I have to admit that the hosts here prepared the most spectacular, flavorful meal. My tastebuds were treated to a masterfully blended set of flavors. That home is pleasing to all my senses. Very pleasant and beautifully decorated. The hosts were so kind and enjoyable. They make you feel like royalty. I am so happy we chose this place to stay for the weekend. And, all this on day 1. Finally, two words: Absolutely Awesome.

My husband and I love visiting Mount Dora for little weekend getaways. We have stayed in many of their quaint B&B's over the years. I must say that the Adora Inn is one of the finest Inn's that we have stayed in. The Inn itself has modern charm but has not lost the quaintness of the town that it is in. John and Arthur were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We stayed in the Tree House Room and it felt like home. By far one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. This was our third stay at the Adora Inn and it was wonderful as always! The rooms are clean and stylish — we love the Treetop Room with windows all around and the lovely, large bathroom. The breakfasts are always creative and very delicious — and the great conversations led by John and Arthur are fun and engaging. Such a short walk to downtown Mt. Dora, too, which is so walkable and inviting with great shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back again!

My mother came into town for a very special holiday visit. John and Arthur were so accommodating and warm to all of the questions and requests that I had. The space is beautiful and decorated so perfectly for the season. Not too much, just right. Breakfast was filled with delicious food and even better conversation and company. As a local resident I look forward to singing the praises of the Adora Inn to all who will listen.

Adora Inn will forever be a treasured memory. I chose the location after reading nothing but great reviews. I can easily say those reviews were an understatement. The location is spectacular, just a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and shops at Mt. Dora. The bed and breakfast looks and feel cozy and welcoming. It's such a spacious locale and has beautiful scenery to put any mind at easy. The hosts, John and Arthur, are some of the finest people I've had the pleasure of meeting. They will instantly put a smile on your face and entertain you with stories. I will hold both Mt. Dora and Adora Inn as a warm memory in my heart. I hope that everyone has the pleasure of experiencing this wonderful bed and breakfast and small town.

Staying at the Adora Inn was a treat for our first anniversary and what a treat it was. The inn is not traditional and I mean in that in the best way possible. The decor is relaxing and crisp and clean, comfortable just like home. The rooms are some of the neatest we've seen in an establishment like this, each offering something a little different. We stayed in the tree house, yes it feels like a tree house and was such a cool room to stay in. The food is outstanding, breakfast is amazing and we love the fact the John and Arthur, the owners, join the guests for breakfast each day. The stories told and the history or the area shared turn breakfast into the most enjoyable time. The innkeepers will make you dinner (for a separate charge) and it's as great as breakfast. We ate in on the covered patio by candle light for our anniversary dinner, and I'd be lying if I didn't say this was our most enjoyable meal while in town (and we ate well). Stay here when in town for a relaxing slower paced way to enjoy the town, we didn't touch the vehicle once during our stay as we could walk to everything in town. John and Arthur understand what hospitality means and really are the most gracious hosts, without them the inn wouldn't be the same. We'll be back soon to stay again, hopefully sooner then later.

Had a very nice stay with John & Arthur while attending a wedding. Everything was clean, efficient and exceptionally friendly. We stayed in the treehouse room which is on the uppermost floor and as such had a bit of limited space due to roof angles but with the right attitude only adds to the charm of this facility. John & Arthur catered the reception at a different B&B and the food was very good and abundant. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Mt Dora.

It was a old, beautifully restored duplex turned into a bed & breakfast. Very homey feel with modern elegance. Very comfortable. Especially the bed! The breakfast was fabulous and the host made you feel right at home. One block from Downtown Mount Dora so you could walk right into town. A great experience. I can't wait to stay there again! John & Arthur were so gracious. :)

An amazing unique little B&B in the gorgeous town of Mount Dora, in an excellent location. John and Arthur were excellent hosts and made us feel totally at home in their home and served up an amazing breakfast! We stayed in the treehouse which was a great room with everything you need. They provided as much information in advance as we needed to ensure our stay was great and wouldn't hesitate in returning if ever in the area.

This was our first time to stay at a B&B. We loved the Adora Inn! It's a beautiful old house and our room was so peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed warm hospitality, delicious food, and lovely conversation with John and Arthur. I appreciated the cleanliness and lovely décor. They have done a beautiful job with this place. It is conveniently located but just off the beaten path. I would highly recommend the Adora!

John and Arthur truly share a passion for hospitality. They make you feel right at home. Their cooking is divine and I strongly recommend planning one of their dinners or a lunch.

My friends and I absolutely "adored" our stay last week! The inn is perfectly situated for walking to all that Mt. Dora has to offer. Loved the Vanilla room — beds are very comfortable. John and Arthur are awesome hosts. The breakfast was fab and we will talk about the stories they shared for years to come! We are sure to be back!

Love Adora Inn. Perfect location. Our first trip to Mt. Dora. Wanted clean, renovated place to stay without driving. Loved it. Breakfast gourmet quality and conversation fun. John and Arthur excellent hosts and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Would stay there again! Highly recommend. Best of both worlds history and comfort.

The Adora Inn was a wonderful surprise for us. It is within walking distance to the center of this quaint historical town, reminds me of the town in the movie "Funny Farm". We spent our stay in the Vanilla suite, with a most comfortable bed and a great soaking tub. The innkeepers, John and Arthur were most gracious and great Chefs as their breakfast attested to. Great experience, we will be back.

If you ever visit Mt. Dora and need a place to stay look no further then the Adora Inn. The accommodations were outstanding, the food was top notch and the owners amazing. Arthur and John are great hosts and after spending a few days with them my wife and I consider them friends. In my opinion you will not find a better place to stay. We will be returning in the near future for sure!

Great B&B — Renovated property, comfy bed, vintage contemporary decor with cool and relaxing color pallet. Home cooked breakfast was fresh & delish. No food in the rooms assures that this fabulous property remains spotlessly immaculate. Great innkeepers! If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Best weekend of our lives!

We stayed in the Tree House. Owners are very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. They know their way around town if you've never been to Mount Dora.

We stayed in the tree house. John and arthur are the best host that we have ever had. We stayed for two days and I miss it so much already. The location is perfect, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is unique. I can't wait to return. Everything about the place is so charming. I only wish I had brought some firewood and my medicinal stuff to have a fire on their fire pit outside but there was so much to do and we had so little time that we didn't want to spend it just sitting around. I got the couples package and it's incredible how flexible everything was. We cancelled the kayaking and john was able to set us up with a wine tasting at The Wine Den which I can't express enough how much we loved it. I left a review on their site as well. Most of all I miss the company that we had during out stay. I highly recommend the place. P. S. John and arthur are great story tellers! :)

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving weekend at the Adora Inn. Arthur and John are delightful hosts and gourmet cooks. Breakfast included fresh fruit yogurt parfait, french toast croissants and lively conversation. The Inn is lovely — we stayed in the Olive Room — very relaxing and calming. The Inn is in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the lake and to town. Arthur and John cooked Thanksgiving dinner — what a treat! We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful experience! Arthur and John are great hosts. Breakfast was excellent. It shows Arthur's skills as a professional cook. It is a beautifully restored old house with a great location at walking distance to the cafes and shops on downtown's Donnelly street.

My wife and I took advantage of a Living Social deal and were really happy with our experience at Adora Inn. We stay at a lot of B&Bs across the country, and this ranks near the top. John and Arthur are two really cool people who gave us great recommendations in town and made it super easy to book kayaks. Also, their breakfasts are AMAZING! Highly recommend this B&B. It's more of a modern, yet cozy feel, and being a young couple originally from New York, it was a welcomed environment. We stayed in the "Vanilla Room, " which I highly recommend. A great weekend getaway, especially from Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota.

Absolutely loved it! Very modern yet comfy, cozy and classy! We stayed in the vanilla room and felt like we were in our own private tree house way up on the third floor. The room had its own bathroom with a fantastic tub, it was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The owners were great — they made us feel welcome and served us an outstanding breakfast. This was our first time staying at a B&B and we would definitely recommend this one.
