Would not recommend this hotel at all. I was a guest of the hotel for the day (thanks to the airline delaying my flight). First 🚩 the shuttle stops running at around 10 from the airport to the hotel (not a problem) however we were standing at the airport since 9 and when making contact with the hotel we were told that they will not be sending a shuttle to collect us and we need to find our own transportation. That’s fine and so we did Second 🚩 upon check-in the woman at the front desk collected the voucher as well as my card information (mind you AA is sponsoring this stay). We were told that the kitchen only works from 5-9 so in order to eat it will either be snacks that you purchase at the front desk or order food from outside sources…. Fine! Third 🚩 — the kicker of this whole thing however is the fact that I was not told of a check out time or anything I was just giving the shuttle time since I inquired so as to not miss my flight the following day. The shuttle came at 3:30 I left everything in perfect order and to home I went. Days later I checked my bank account only to find that I was CHARGED for my SPONSORED STAY and that I would not be refunded because I stayed past the 12 o clock checkout time…. How am I being charged for an extra day when I was not told of a checkout time or for the simple fact that the airline was sponsoring the stay, for a flight scheduled for 6 in the evening.

Awful customer service and experience. During the COVID-19 Pandemic this hotel and company is scamming travelers and stealing their money. Do not stay here go somewhere else.

A really nice hotel! We ordered room service from their restaurant for dinner and their free breakfast which were both great. They offer a free shuttle to Miami airport which was super convenient.

I am a single mom with 3 kids. I traveled to Miami last week with my 2 year old son to have a liver evaluation to have him listed for transplant. This hotel put a hold on my card for the room and when I checked in they then charged the card. The official charge has gone through but the hold is still pending so I have now been more than double charged. I contacted my bank to try to get the hold removed and they said they need the auth and merchant number from the hotel. The bank 3 way called the hotel and the manager didn’t have a clue what she was doing. We then contacted corporate who basically said nothing they could do. I am now out the money they are holding for up to 30 days. I will never do business with this hotel again.

We stay for one night. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff at front desk. Good breakfast buffet but with room for improvements.

Precruise night. We stayed here before our Miami cruise. Free shuttle to and from the airport. And for a small fee, they will shuttle you to the cruise port. If you choose round trip, they will either bring you back to the hotel or take you to the airport from the cruise port. The rooms are nice and big. Very comfortable.

Nice hotel room for a week. No issue with the room or the aesthetics of the hotel. Sucks that you have to pay to park and it's not valet. And they do not even have a breakfast of any sort. It is close to the airport for travelers.

Rooms were nice and what I'd expect. When we called to arrange for the airport shuttle pickup we we're on hold for 20 minutes with the front desk. We had to wait over an hour in the lobby for the room. To be fair we did arrive at 2pm, but I would think a large hotel has a room or two ready by 2pm. One elevator was out and 10 people were waiting, no sign was posted on the broken elevator and the front desk staff didn't acknowledge or even say sorry.

We had an after midnight check in, the shuttle was prompt, check in was a breeze and the young lady at reception was friendly and obliging. The room was spotlessly clean, fresh and already cool for us as it was hot. The shower was great as well. Great service, great value — booked an extra night.

Excellent location! Only 10 minutes from the airport. Very clean, courteous staff, the food restaurant was amazing! I stayed at the Miami Airport location. Great value and quality for your money.

Very luxurious hotel close to everything from beaches to shopping malls. During my visit, I was in one of the spacious bedroom suites with big attached bathroom. A pleasurable and great place to stay in a safe neighborhood. A comprehensive food menu with timely serving from dedicated staff. See you guys soon.

We were diverted here on an overnight by AA. Could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The bed, the linens, the room were all of a top notch quality. Service was helpful, professional and politely friendly. We totally recommend this Best Western.

The staff is very friendly, the restaurant serves tasty dishes and a good price, there is free hot coffee all day. The rooms are nice and a few minutes from the airport is perfect for the day before the flight.

I want to give this rating a 4 because I had a clean spacious beautiful room during my stay. The front desk staff were helpful and professional. However, here are some of the things that dock this to a 3-rating: — during our wait in the lobby, there was a lot of dust and noise as they were rebuffing the lobby counter — the pool area could use more service. There were no refill of towels. Most of the lounge chairs were inaccessible and dirty from some renovation work done on the ground. — This is the real kicker: We were told the shuttles were every half hour, so we waited at 1:45 for a 2 o'clock shuttle to the airport that did not arrive until 2:40. We should've gotten to the airport by 2:15 giving us a full 1.5 hours until our flight, but instead we did not get to our gate until 15 minutes before take off.

Nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable! Firm but soft as well. Breakfast was not included, but was only like $9 for all you can eat. It was delicious. Very close to pretty much everything.

I was very impressed with the service and professionalism at this hotel. This is the first time that I stayed at a Best Western hotel and would definitely stay at one again. The breakfast was delicious and the food in the restaurant was awesome. I felt that the staff was exceptional and really cared about the people who were staying in the hotel.

Good hotel, close to all that is Miami, 20m to Miami Beach/Bayside 10m to airport free shuttle to airport good service, good rooms to improve breakfast is very repetitive, if you are more than 3 days it bores you the same.

It's a very nice Best Western. Very nice staff. Comfy bed. I am airline crew so we get around and this is one of the nice ones. I didn't have a chance to see the restaurant but it sounded hoppin.

Excellent hotel, very good facilities and services. Close to the airport and in a good quiet and safe area. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is superior and check-out until 12.

They charged me 3x, and were completely unapologetic about it. Room was dirty, microwave was full of ants. Things would have a been a tad better if they actually had good customer service.

This would be a straight 5 if not for one minor detail: there were hundreds of ants crawling on the coffee pot counter. The room was great otherwise, very comfortable beds, clean and pretty large, bright and quiet. Close to the airport, with the shuttle every 30 minutes. Luckily for us, we noticed ants just in the morning, before leaving for the airport. Our slip would sure be uneasy if we new about it before we went to bed.

Don't count on the airport shuttle and don't expect the front desk to answer the phone. If you want to rent a movie you need to contact the front desk, so that's out unless you want to go downstairs. Breakfast is $9 for meh food and old fruit. The room was nice, but one of the coffee packets was empty so that makes me suspicious of the attentiveness of the housekeeping staff. The room safe was also broken. Dinner at the restaurant was good, but the lack of quality at breakfast makes me wonder if I just ate leftovers. Overall, not impressed with BW and will not stay at another one any time soon.

This is our second time here, we would not return if it was not a good place to stay. Room's are clean and nice furnished. Bathroom lighting is our only complaint, it is dimly lit, making it difficult to see while doing hair and makeup. The breakfast buffet is perfect with many nice choices. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect for us near the airport, within minutes of our friends home in Coral Gables and within 30 min. Of many local attractions and museum's.

I only gave the extra star because one good employee. First of all if you do not speak Spanish do not stay here, I did not know that and almost none of the staff is bilingual. I've had a very rough time and I'm only halfway through my stay. They do not tell you that breakfast is not included, they tell you when you check in that breakfast is from 6:30 to 10 just like every other Best Western in the country only when you show up to they say it's $13, it doesn't seem like much, the other ones in town 20, but I am here with myself my husband two teenage boys and an infant, it's a lot. They ran out of their complimentary coffee, I had to beg to go in their restaurant where the $13 breakfast is to use that coffee, upon check-in we asked for linen for the pull-out beds for the teenagers it took them 6 hours. They did not come in for housekeeping because they heard us in there, when I ask for it they gave me an attitude, I asked for clean towels they gave me an attitude, and I just inquired as to why the flight attendants are getting free vouchers for breakfast for two different times and I cannot get one for one day for me and my family, and was told that they opened special at 5 a. M. For them and that's all I need to know. Husband and I are trying to use our rewards points for a different Best Western in the city as we are diamond members and have acquired many points for a week's vacation.

Good transit hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is helpful. Good location and free shuttle to/ from Miami airport (look for the van labeled BWP at door 3, departure level). Most area hotels provide the free shuttle.

It's a very good hotel. Close to aereoport, above others and the same price. Very cozy and comfortable rooms. Better value price relationship than others.

Everything was super clean! All employees were super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfy. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be visiting again if passing/staying in Miami.

Nice hotel and very good cleanliness, employees a mess, have a little girl who doesn't even know what she's doing there, she doesn't know anything, she doesn't solve anything, she doesn't understand anything, she understands nothing, there's another tall kid that tb is a mess, she doesn't talk, she doesn't seem to listen when they ask her something and j you know nothing either, there is a brunette that if he is a good official, always attentive and smiling just like mathias. They are the only two people who are able to serve the customer. I don't know if I'd go back to that hotel, the attention wasn't good.

Six ladies in their 60s booked rooms at this Best Western before a cruise. One room had been cancelled through an error by a third party booking company. Cindy was at the desk and couldn't have been more helpful in figuring out the problem and coming up with a solution… that resulted in getting a room at the fully booked hotel. She also offered some extra perks to compensate for our stress that the error caused us. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for the cruise crowd. The hotel works with a contractor that provides transportation to the port for a reasonable fee. Breakfast is not generally included but is available in the lobby. It was on par with most free breakfasts found in better hotels… not so good if you have to pay for it extra. I would recommend this hotel.

Booked 3 nights, started out on the second floor. Could not get sleep until after 2am. The guests in the next room were having a big loud fight. Complaining at the lobby did not stop them. No other room available. Next day put in official complaint. Got another room on a different floor. Good neighbors this time… Also complimentary breakfast. Breakfast is simple but good (they have a pancake maker :) ) Rooms are spacious and have a comfortable bed. The airconditioning is very loud, and right next to the bed, blowing in your face on warm nights. Location is so-so (seems beaten by storm Irma). Close to the airport (max 15 minute drive) friendly staff.

The hotel is very cozy and great quality. Rooms are excellent and have microwave and coffee makers. IMHO Towels should be replaced, because some of'em are kinda worn out. As a business traveler I understand that Miami has been swiped by Irma hurricane (September 2017) and this disrupts many services. However i'm sad to report that Breakfast Buffet opening hours are not being respected. Usually it's supposed to open 7:30 am local time and usually delays up to 30 minutes. Keep that in mind before getting to the lobby to have breakfast.

Clean rooms, although the staff treat you like criminals brought here for holding. The old lady working there tonight should be fired instantly. I walked up with 2 cans of Coke (FYI $4.36) and was greeted with "Yes? " with a scowl to shame the devil! Then when I asked to buy the Coke she grabbed them and walked to ring them up without a second look or word. If you can afford this place, you can afford somewhere that treats you like a customer and not an inmate.

Stayed there on airline voucher after missed connection. Arrived at 9:45 and Restaurant closed at 10, so couldn't eat there. One of 2 elevators out of order, and working one slows. Rooms were nice and well apointed, with a separate sitting area and couch. This was a better upgraded room compared to basic level hotels. Bed very comfortable, and room was quiet on a Friday night in Coral Gables. An annoyance was that the bedside alarm clock had a broken display.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… My reservation had been canceled with another hotel company, at the last minute. After calling SEVERAL other hotels, Best Western was able to accommodate me that day. Staff was very helpful, kind, and patient. Rates were affordable. Quality of service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Mold in shower Stained towels Unfriendly staff (no smile or good morning when you get off the elevator or walk in the hotel) One of the main reasons I picked this hotel was free parking since I was staying out here for a whole week. Upon checking in, I was told that was not the case. I was tired from traveling all day, so I didn't make a big deal about it and just paid the $70. What really pissed me off was the lack of good customer service. I bought bottled water and snacks everyday of my stay from their little convenience store. One day I came down to buy some snacks before game 1 of the NBA finals, when I get there I noticed a lady with a lot of items getting rung up. I thought she was another customer like me so I waited patiently, but then I noticed her taking pics of certain items and even going behind the front desk. I stood there for 5 minutes, not once did she or the guy (wearing a black 4100 polo, so I guess he works in their restaurant) behind the register say anything to me like "sorry for the wait" or "we'll be with you in just a minute! " Matter of fact they both acted like I wasn't standing there with items to buy, she kept adding more items to the counter, I was forced to move a couple of times as she opened the drink case and didn't even say "excuse me. " Unbelievable! I stood there for another two minute until I finally got fed up, put the items back and just went back to my room.

The front desk staff upon checking in were extremely professional and friendly. The young man offered the breakfast special and explained happy hour. The happy hour bartender was not attentive & we sat at the bar, so it was like being ignored. He never ask how the appetizer was or if we wanted another drink (Lester). The food was awful & cold. We ordered an appetizer, room service dinner, and room service breakfast. The check out staff was fabulous. Will stay again, but will never order food.

We can park here for seven days free and pay for additional five days at the rate of $10 a day as opposed to $20 a day for 12 days.

It was amazing. It was the first stay in me and my family's FL roadtrip and we were so happy about it! Everything was better than expected, and the rooms were perfect with a great air conditioning! The gym was above average and really good to be a hotel gym. The bed was great, which I shared with my dad without feeling trapped or something like that. You can always access fluids. They serve you fruitflavored water down in the reception, at the gym they offer bottles of water for free, and the swimming pool contains a lot of water as well. Overall pleasant stay. Don't know why I'm not giving it 5/5, but it feels like I don't want to settle for something and consider it the best of the best just yet.

I was placed here when my flight was cancelled. Nice rooms! Comfy bed. Food was good. Staff were helpful. Didn't like the shower setup, but it would be very wheelchair accessible, I suppose. Come to think of it, I probably got a room designed for that. It was on the first floor…

We stayed for one nite leaving from a Cruise for our One Yr Anniversary. It looks just like the Pictures. Me and my Husband enjoy it. Very Clean Room smell Good We had no problems. Would stay again. And I Think we my bring the kids Or NOT. 5 Stars for us. Staff was Great.

Service was friendly. We had to change rooms because our first one smelled like Marijuana. Room was good size and price was great for the city. About 20 minutes away from South Beach depending on traffic but near some very good restaurants.

One of the housekeeping staff stole my moms swimsuit that I got her as a gift. Management didn't even come out to talk to us and let the staff take care of it. I was constantly lied to about the situation and lied to about a refund in place of the swimsuit. They just said it because they knew we were flying out that morning. Do not stay here. Bad management and they have thieves working there as well.

Room was ok as we got in late and only were sleeping for a few hours. One of the main elevators was not responding to input from the inside panel and would suddenly shudder after pushing a floor button but would not actually move. Also the cleaning could have used more attention to detail. Upon entering the room I went to use the restroom and the toilet had not been flushed from the last user. That tells me it probably wasn't cleaned regularly either.

Convenient to the airport and an adequate modern motor inn but pricey. We arrived on Valentines Day and the restaurant was offering only an expensive set Valentine's meal. The steak offered was easily the worst we have been served in 30 years. Not since a $1.50 steak at a cheap pension in Managua (1980) have I been served a piece of beef this awful, tough and tasteless.

Management and service recovery is extremely poor! The manager hid behind a door and I was forced to deal with the desk staff after asking to speak with a manager several times; she would not come out and reason with me about the multiple rates I was given nor honor the lowest fare! I was given 3 different rates over the phone a month before I arrived, lied to about the rate changes being emailed to me after requesting it 3 times, by Yanni, and then charged the highest rate at check out. Then Yanni refused to acknowledge that she talk with me about a 3rd lower rate, which was advertised online in January. After my complaint of the rates at check out, she checked the computer for my reservation rates, went to talk with the manager and returned, showing me a paper with both the revised total and refund I would recieve at the time of check out. I left the hotel and when I call to check on my refund and receipt after leaving the hotel and was quoted a lesser refund; I reminded her of the revised total and refund, in exact amounts, but Yanni refused to acknowledge or deny showing me the revisions on the paper; she also acted secretive after viewing the different reservations online when going to talk with the manager. I was told I would receive an email with a receipt and refund amount, by Yanni, I am still waiting on it a day later! They speak professionally, are friendly over the phone and kind in person while totally ignoring you!

The appearance the hotel was great. The rooms were clean and refreshingly decorated also very pleasant to be in. The bad is that the hotel is located in a not so nice looking neighborhood. The only good part about the location was that it was only six minutes from the airport. Overall it was a very pleasant experience only gave it 4 stars because of the neighborhood, but that was not the hotels fault.

Room was fine… Well located… Very noisy, minibar not working properly, safe was not working as well… The air conditioning had a strange smell…

I've stayed here more than once (not by choice) because we get a company discount. The rooms are clean and nice but the guest desk service is terrible. They have a check in policy of 3:00 pm. And they literally make you wait (I waited everytime) and last time it was 3:20 and I was still waiting for my room to be avaliable. A little while ago we stayed in this hotel and the fire alarm (extremely loud) went off several times during the day and night, every time we have to exit the building or call front desk to check if it was a real emergency. They explained that they were having problems with the alarm (no discount or anything after that ordeal). Everytime we have to stay at this especific best Western I take a deep breath because I know what's coming.

Room was acceptable. Service poor. Room service food was horrible and menu was literally a price of paper printed and put inside the guest guide. They did maintenance on another room at 9pm which included loud pounding. I had to call to get them to stop. I paid for a late checkout so my daughter could nap before our flight and they still called and woke her to try to get me to check out. Housekeeping was good but overall seemed like it was not organized or up to parr with what their rates are. Won't stay here again.

Their shuttle service is extremely unreliable. I have waited close to 90 minutes for the shuttle. Only after two calls made to the hotel — the driver came and was extremely rude! Front desk evening crew was reluctant to help or do anything. The restaurant is very expensive but at least they care about customer service. Rooms are fine.

Unfortunately there is not much to like. The shuttle driver was nice though. The hotel isn't as pictured. The location isn't desirable. The night auditor/ receptionist is rude. The restaurant is expensive and not worth the money. Ex. Can coke is $3. I tried to get a copy of my receipt and they gave me bullshit the entire time. I will never stay here again.

Horrible service… No sense of urgency or care about anything. Unreliable shuttle bus had people including myself waiting for over 2 hours coming and going. Room smelled like cat urine. I will NEVER stay here again and I will be reporting this to Best Western corporate as well. Just unexceptable service!

Clean and Nice views… Staff worked with early check in and allowed my son and me to sleep early before 3pm.

Generally a decent hotel, but what kind of hotel with "airport" in the name doesn't begin their airport shuttle service until 5 AM, especially at airport as busy as MIA? We had to take a $17 cab ride in order to make our 6 AM flight. Had we known this we would've stayed elsewhere. Not "premier" level service by any stretch of the imagination.

Worst hotel in Miami. The front desk gives the wrong information. They tell people the shuttle (hotel ~ airport) comes every 30mins. On Monday Mar 16th between 8:00PM-9:00PM Several people waited for 40-50mins and made many calls asking about the shuttle. The front desk kept people waiting when we called in. I asked the front desk to help to print the boarding pass after I arrived hotel. They refused and pointed to the computer in the hall wall. However the computer required the password. Then I came back to ask them. After getting the password, I can not access the internet. The waitress in the hotel restaurant told me that computer did not work and the front desk was supposed to print it out for me. Two young ladies were chatting in the front desk and they were not busy at all around 9:30PM. However they were not willing to do anything. Yes, they have fake smile, though. The swimming poor is very dirty too room is smelly.

Clean, very close to the airport, and friendly front desk. Our room with two queen beds was exactly how the pictures described: spacious and nicely decorated. The second elevator was out of order and so was the ice machine on seventh floor. But for the rest, it was very good. Besides the comfortable room, the best surprise was its restaurant SABORES by Chef James. It was an unusual restaurant for an airport-area hotel. It's not inexpensive, but a pleasant culinary surprise.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! This was one of the worst hotels I have ever been to and will never go anywhere near it. The customer service is horrible and if you want something done, make sure you are ready to call/tell them several times before they even attempt to do something. The maids have nasty attitudes and you can find them "cleaning a room" while they are watching TV on the bed and talking on the cell phone. I walked over to a room she was supposed to be cleaning at the time so I can get more towels and literally she had her shoes off, laying on the bed talking on the cell phone. Lift up your couch cushions and see how clean they are. FILTHY HOTEL — You are better off going to a motel and saving your money and overall probably even have a better experience and cleaner room.

I have literally NEVER written a review before, but this time it calls for it. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! I am a single, young, white female who was traveling alone. My room was on the 6th floor, way in the back, and when I got into it, the lights would not work. So here I am in a secluded area, alone in the dark. I called the front desk and they said they'd send someone up, which NEVER happened. Luckily a light eventually worked. Later I found some creepy bug crawling on the night stand next to my bed, the bathroom had no air circulation and the door had to be propped open so it would not slam shut. I also had ordered room service, paid in cash, and they charged me for it. Upon checkout, I explained that I had paid in cash, and was told that I had to go up to the 7th floor, fix the problem with the restaurant up there, and then come back down. Even though the problem was "fixed" they still didn't refund my money. Here I am, two weeks and 2 complaint phone calls later, and am STILL waiting for my refund. They assure me, THIS time I will receive it — I better! Never again will I be going here, and I'd advise anyone not to either.
