We lasted 5 minutes at this hotel! The website and pictures look amazing and modern! Don’t be scammed, the visual black mold and a bed that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a week made us sick to our stomach. We called our hotel booking website and was out of there so fast. Wasn’t shocked at all on the way out passing by the hotel manager febreezing another room getting it “ready” for the next guests! Dont waste your money, there are way better hotels in the area for a better cost.

Close to Collins Av and Ocean Dr. Both on arrival and departure very good attention. The room was clean and quite large.

Dirty, old and sloppy, has no elevator or parking (nor valet parking) your car is on the street. And not to mention that neighbor can touch him; Front-desk youngsters make miracles that the owner destroys. What's acceptable? The location. For the rest, at least 11 better options and with less price in the same quadrant.

The rooms are old. Cleanliness could improve. They offer breakfast service and it's a lie. There is only one coffee maker for use, but no coffee. Unfortunate! The good is its location, do not take the car for nothing, only that is great.

Listen to all of the reviews. PLEASE! They are not lying. I am literally at this hotel now and everything I’ve read in the reviews is true. It is EXTREMELY outdated and looks NOTHING like the pictures. When I called the day before, the concierge was very friendly. However, whomever the late nifgt concierge is, SUCKS. He barely spoke English, and I’m not sure he comprehended much of what I said. I am Cuban American, so I am absolutely not racist of cultures that speak other languages. The room is small, super old, my toilet has pink ink stained into it, one of the blinds is broken, all of the walls and windowsills are peeling due to age, no carpet, hardwood floor is all scratched up. The only bonus I could give is I don’t smell a smoke smell and the bed is clean. But the bed is not very comfortable and very loud and squeaky. They honestly should be sued for advertising the photos that they advertise. But the location, as all other reviews have stated, is very nice.

The location is top. Rs are not worth 3stars. It makes a dirty impression, the Wi-Fi doesn't go great and way too expensive.

The hotel is disgusting me my girl and sister had to wait 15 mins before anybody came to the front desk for check on when we arrived. We get our cards to the room as soon as you open the door to the hall the place stinks. We get to our room and it Is nasty both rooms sheet and pillow cases had stains on them the room or hotel looks nothing like the pictures they are advertising. The chairs in the room had stains on them we the bathroom was to small and nasty. We go to the front desk to complain and David apologized and said he will bring up new sheets and towels. This man brung towels that lool like it had old blood stains on them smfh. We asked for a refund and he says I'll put you in another room that man took us to 3 different nasty ass room the first one you could smell the mold from the wet carpet the 2nd one had dirty towels handing from the picture in the room and the 3rd well that was an suite ctfu it was our last option smh it wasn't the best but it was a lot cleaner then the room and to find out it was clean cus Air bnb uses the suites lol. They refunded my girl her money for the room and she pays for the suite. The money came back on her card 2 days later and a hour after they put the $640 back they took $721.

This hotel does not compare to other chains and has a couple of things that could improve, like not having to go to the front desk to ask for ice or not willing to give us an extra glass for a 2 bed unit when we're only given 2 glasses to use, or having more outlets on the rooms to charge phines etc. But for the location, and the nice patio you can sit at on the afternoon under the trees, overall I liked staying here.

The only advantage of the hotel is the nearby beach!
— At first glance, the entrance area is pretty but unkempt and full of Vogelmist.
— The rooms have run down and the furniture is old and verkrazt.
— the bathroom, the towels and the hair dryer are full of long black hairs of the predecessor and dirty!
-The maid comes without knocking into the room, and does not need to clean the bathroom from the eye-catching black hair. But she brought us new hairy and dirty towels.

Absolutely disgusting; the room and the customer service. Had the misfortune of meeting the "owner", professionalism was at an all time low with this one. He had the audacity to get upset with me after I found mold in the room and asked for a refund. Save your money. Seriously.

Cute location, close to the beaches of South Beach. It is not the hotel mas cute but it was at a good price.

Pathetic service, not clean. Very disappointed.

The Good: location is everything for this hotel. Close to ocean drive, the shops and the beach. Also a quick Uber to Brickell for less then 10 bucks. Big rooms… and that's about it. The Bad: extremely dated hotel and rooms. Furniture is all different and super old throughout the hotel (no excuse for that), weird life size paintings of naked people all over the hotel. Rooms smell stale like they have never seen fresh air before — makes sense as there is a sign beside the window saying don't open it (curious the last time any of the interiors were aired out). Daytime staff are friendly but at night time you have the most useless conceirge I've ever seen. Lastly, this place is DIRTY and I cannot wait to go home and shower. Book @ your own risk.

This hotel is located I believe in. An area increiblente perfect. Just blocks away from the bustling ocean drive, but with a silence great. Surrounded by small restaurants, gourmet, great. The beach two blocks away… so the location is 10 points. The employees will serve them well… it is not anything of another world but well. Now, it is an old hotel. DOES NOT HAVE A LIFT AND I PLAY TO THE SECOND FLOOR? No one helps the bags… towels not changed. So malavares to dry. They don't replace soap. And in general has the appearance of dirty. Maybe the photos don't seem like they were taken at night. I should clarify, I came out to 70 dollars a night, for expidia. If I put my neurons in (what you use to sleep) come back, but, with the mind understanding where I'm going. Eye… the mattress won, so take a turn with any quirptactico for the return home. Pd: the view from the window of my room overlooks the alley, where he throws the garbage…

It is a cute place, and in terms of price quality I think it could improve, the room that we happened to need parts for painting and building. It is a building with great potential, thus it is best that is located a few meters from the beach and the Ocean Drive.

I recommend the hotel to those who just have to sleep without expecting anything… breakfast is non-existent, only American coffee, and sliced bread to toast…
Dirty Carpet, and the night… careful, I killed two big cockroaches…
The location is great with two large supermarkets close to the hotel, and close to the main Street Ocean drive.
But for the price it's worth it…
Too bad, it would do very little to make it one of the most palatable hotels in the area!

Not the cleanest or modern hotel you will ever see but the location makes it worth it. Beds were comfortable and washrooms were big. Patio space near the entrance is beauty and a nice place to just relax after the beach closes.

Awesome place off the beaten path. Nice eclectic place to stay. Very well taken care of.

This Hotel should stop working, it is dirty, old, sloppy, the people I found in the yard on my arrival, it was not the chord if you are mom like in my case. Yes, the concierge, super friendly, deserves to work someplace else!

$30 for parking? Bäh.
Even though it is a relatively cheap hotel in this extremely good location, close to the beach, right on Ocean Drive, it is still extremely expensive, three times as expensive as other budget hotels. For 100 dollars the night they can quietly clean neatly and repair the crap. Do the window and door have to be broken? Money enough is there after all.
Nice staff, nice room, bad Wi-Fi, nice courtyard, was completely okay for by far the most expensive hotel on the Floridatrip.

I would highly suggest no one ever stay here. When arriving they did not have any rooms available that I booked and wanted to give me smaller beds. When I finally got to the room, I would have been better of staying in a hostel. Blood on the walls, no air conditioning, no curtains, dirty sheets, dirty furniture. The room was absolutely gross. I had to move hotels and gladly did, as they had no other rooms available.

The door knob was new on our room door. When I tried to lock the bolt, it wouldn't lock. It wasn't replaced properly. The chain lock above the door knob had new bolts on one side. The window lock was brocken off. Needless to say we didn't get much rest.

The location was the ONLY thing good about this hotel (that's what the one star is representing). The rooms were very dated, the air conditioner broke down and we were asked to wait until the following day for someone to come and take a look at it. I had to DEMAND another room because our room was way too stuffy to bare. The TV stopped working, their ice machine had broken down, the fridge wasn't working, and we were given stained towels. Trust me, this hotel "looks good" on the website, but please don't waste your time nor money here.

Got there. Pictures do not match room. Our room sidnt have remote to air conditioner. Someone must of had it because air went from 89 to off to 82 then off again. Complained but they just said sorry, nothing they could do since they didnt know where air control was at… would not recommend this place to anyone.

Surprisingly clean hotel. Friendly staff. Affordable option in South Beach.

Pros: Close to ocean drive and beach and the convenience stores. Good size rooms, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, friendly staff, aircon is very good. Cons: "breakfast" is only bread with jam and cheap coffee, towels were often stained when replaced, bed sheets had holes, no pool. Overall a good deal but would advise to spend more for a better hotel experience.

The dirtiest thing I've ever seen. Any positive rating is a fake.
Waste in the public area is the second ten day. The receptionist, if there is one, hardly speaks English and sleeps on the sofa at lunchtime in the so-called breakfast room. The ascent steps are dirty, as is the public access area.
The pictures are from room 201 and "after room swap! " From room 229.
A disaster. We were not the only ones to complain, even other guests on a daily basis. There has been no improvement in those either.
Supply is TUI, a mess that is not checked here.
Again, any positive review is a fake. The positive images represent the wrong overall agency print, as no such room can be shown.
There is nothing positive to report on the topic of parking, either. The receptionist does not know his way around and you mean to take care of all himself.

Stayed in a 1 bed room, nice view out below of the street. They had "free breakfast" which entailed bread, orange juice, and coffee. Not any breakfast to me. During the evening went to go ask for more blankets and pillows and the rude security guard said they were closed and that I should have come earlier. Overall, very nice unique place to stay at, would definitely stay again.

The location is really good and it was not very expensive but maintenance of the rooms is not all that good. We had to change rooms because suddenly before nightfall there were hundreds of bugs flying at us in our room. We had no idea where they came from since the we didn't open the window once. Fortunately the staff was very accommodating and they gave us another room, which was a bit smaller but we didn't mind. This was in May 2014.

The hotel has the potential to be stunning, it is in a great location a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. It has a lovely courtyard in the centre and provides free Wi-Fi to guests, however the hotel in general is quite tired and in need of some TLC. The rooms are showing there age as are the carpets and the bathrooms.

I went to see some friends and it was again renewed. I liked very much.

I had a great experience at Harrison Hotel! It's a short ride from Miami airport, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were modern and updated, it's 2 blocks from the beach, a block from shopping, restaurants and ocean drive. You can't beat the price for the location. The staff was AMAZING (especially Carlos)! I haven't had such great customer service in a very long time. They were friendly, inviting and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely stay again when I return to Miami Beach and will recommend them to everyone.

DO NOT GO THERE They like to lie about a lot of stuff like they told me we have park for 30 dollar a night and then when I call them to make my reservation they told me that we did have park so I called them a lie and they told me F****** you and they hung up the phone. When I call back to talk to a manager they hung to phone on me. So heads up don't go to the harrison hotel in south beach not a family friendly hotel. do not go there very unfriendly staff.

Nice setting. Extremely friendly staff. Clean room, all around great time. Wifi didn't work well though and neither did the television, but still an enjoyable experience.

Great location, two block of the beach, few blocks to intersection of 5th Street and Washington, Collins and Ocean Drive, the iconic Avenues if Miami Beach. Many options of good food nearby and a convenience store. On the other hand the rooms are dated, the a/c can't be controled and there is no elevator. I didn't have high expectations, but it was a fun time and I hope they make up the rooms. I would like repeat my experience.

Rude Management! I booked this thru a booking company, I cancelled 3 days before, when I saw the room charge show up on my account 2 days before I was scheduled to check in, I called the Hotel (the hotel was the one who submitted the charge) and the Manager told me to call the booking company (he even gave me the phone number), they would put in a request for a credit. I called the booking company who was very nice, they had me wait on the phone while they called him. He refused to issue a credit because he said that it was with the "hours" of his Policy. I called him back and he was very rude, would not let me speak and the only thing that he kept repeating was Policy, Policy, Policy. You do NOT Speak to people like he spoke to me, much less a customer. They are not in the customer service business, they are in the Policy business!

Disgusting! Rotted mattress, smelly room, moldy air conditioning, mold in the bathroom, broken shower drain, etc.
After the first room was the absolute disaster, we wanted a new room, we also got. However, we took many almost from all cloud what you sold us here for €92 DZ of only evening again look at and we!
It was the 5 hotel on our trip and should be the crowning conclusion. Is it also! We look around us tomorrow morning for something different so our last 4 nights are dedicated to sleep at least.
(We bought us in the TJ○maxX before disgust first 2 huge ceiling, so that we at least the first night disgust can cover our something) it is now 1:35 o'clock early and I'm afraid of the night. We are really not fussy and can look even time away, but it is no matter where you look.
Looking for a different hotel you prefer even if it costs a few euros more. Believe me, that it's worth. Even a hostel is better.

Do NOOOT go there! Staff was very very unfriendly, never had so bad experiences before. Because of the reviews we wanted to see the room before (number 101) and it was awful. The smell was bad and so strong, it was dirty and the martress was like shit. There was MOLD too! Went back to the reception and gave him back the room card and told him that we dont check in. His behavior was like this happens three times a day and only said ok, no questions why. Very bad, spend your money somewhere else, even for one night its bad.

Tea treat very bad not answer you emails the manager is not never. Do not arrive and do not want to go. someone must take responsibility for my purchases that I already pay the stay! HORRIBLE SITUATION.

It is perfect for sleeping, close to beach, restaurants avenues! I would be back without a doubt!
