Very good hotel
Very large rooms
Very good restaurant service
The staff with whom we had very attentive friendly and willing to guide us
Joe very attentive welcomes us and delivers suitcases
Overall very very nice hotel
The lounge chairs, palapas look Super super for their pink color and look very stylish and modern.
We just recently stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel. We got there real early on Saturday am, our suite wasn’t ready at first. They made sure the rest of the trip was everything we wanted. Any and every accommodation was made by the evening manager! He was amazing! The rooms were very big. Especially the suites. They were clean and cleaned promptly every morning! Love this place. Can’t wait to go back ‼️.
I stayed at this hotel many times since they opened, lately they have bad service, problems with refund and bad management, I have exchanged few emails with the Front Office Director and none solution at all, filthy rooms, no service on swimming pool on 7th floor during pack days. I want my money back. They respond to reviews and comments that case has been escalated but no solution after a month, just canned answer, be aware, not coming back!
My friends and I just had a horrible experience at this hotel. We were promised early check in for an additional $200 charge, then told we couldn’t get in the room upon arrival. After 45 minutes, we were allowed in room after apologies from mgmt, and told that fee would be reduced to $150. Upon check out a few days later, we saw we were charged for a whole night, $650, instead. A whole week later, and they still haven’t refunded this charge. Also, the AC was barely working in our suite, so no one was able to sleep.
I always enjoy it here few changes since the last time I was here but still a good place. The hot tubs are not as warm as they used to be and the pools are very warm so I dunno what changed there but I didn’t mind it all too much as I enjoy hot tubs. The food has also gotten really pricey but was good overall. I will be back again.
I cannot think Ivy enough for being so thoughtful. The room and view were just what I needed. Thank you for the platter of fruit. I would like to give a shout out to Oscar Avelar, for making sure he found me the perfect spot on the beach for writing my memoir.
Jealousy I recommend a beautiful hotel with a great cervicio.
Highly recommend. Always perfection.
Great hotel! And Giselle was a great bartender!
Wonderful views! Nice pools and nice room.
Excellence in all services… very good room service. Swimming pool with excellent bar-restaurant service.
Great place to visit with the family rooms nice superb Chris and clean the only thing that I suggest that the hotel do is accommodate you with a microwave.
I had a bad experience in my room, I paid to sleep comfortably and I could not, there was a lot of marijuana smell, apparently the next room was smoking, I reported it and all they did is give me a smell for sprayer 😡
Excellent hotel, have stayed there twice and will always come back when I’m in beautiful Miami!
Nice staff… and friendly atmosphere.
So disappointed in the hotel. Most hot tubs not working, bars not open as advertised, no hand towels or facecloths, dirty room with 0 towels as check in. View was beautiful and bed was comfortable but not worth the nearly $2, 000 price tag die 4 nights.
We arrived yesterday for our honeymoon 3 night stay to a dirty room, there were crumbs on the counter and it had not been wipped down, 2nd the bath had hair in the sink and on the tub. The tub also had really bad rust in it and on the handle which is not accetable for a high end hotel. Third there was hair on the pillows. These are all things that I would not and did not expected at a highend hotel. We were moved to a second room were we encountered what appeared to be dry blood on the sheets (see pics below), a broken leg on the counter and Fridge that smelled like fish and made the room smell. The front desk offered to move us once again but we were too tired to move again. We waited an hour for some one to come change the sheets. I sent an email on Feb 2nd to concierge to request early check in and request wine in our room upon arrival for our honeymoon and no one ever got back to us. We are on our honeymoon and this experince was not a great one for us. The front desk offered us late check out but we fly out at 2pm so late check out does nothing for us. We need a diacount on our total or the night free for our hassel.
All! the best hotel in Miami! excellent attention. Staff willing to fix any inconvenience. I can't wait to come back and at night have a nice drink on those paradisiacal balconies they have.
This was a tough call. Room view was expensive but beautiful. No help to learn about the area. Two hot tubs on the 7th floor neither worked. Hot tubs on ground were luke warm. No outside service during the week. Hotel a bit run down food was outrageous with nothing close in walking distance. Carpets in hallway stained everywhere.
Good location, friendly service.
Beautiful hotel, peaceful and well worth it.
Great experience definitely recommended… love the staff, the design of the hotel, concierge, café, everything about this hotel is great I promise you won’t regret staying here.
Excellent service, staff, amenities and atmosphere.
Really nice hotel, all the staff is very helpful and friendly!
The first thing, the service was very bad, cleaning room service doesn't exist. You should ask for that or you gonna keep seeing your room dirty. The people at the reception are very disrespectful. The hotel it's totally different than how it looks on the pictures, and the most bad thing they charge you extra without explanation, I paid everything with the fees before I go, I stayed six days, at the first day they took from my card 797$ as a deposit and they told me you will get it back once you leave, but they only returned 358$, and when I called them they told me that's an extra charge with no respect which is mean they stole my money but in a nice way, I think this hotel shouldn't exist at the beach in miami where the people visit from everywhere, they say 4stars but the service it's not even 1 star, I advise everyone to not go there if you want to spent a nice vacation and protect your money
Thank you.
Very clean, beautiful landscape, comfortable beach chairs and very nice beach staff! All around awesome! Would definitely suggest your place to stay!
The hotel is beautiful. My room was very beautiful. On a gorgeous stretch of the beach. But I found the other guests who stayed there to be rude, crass, loud and obnoxious. It was very difficult to find a quiet corner. I had to move several times as a loud couple or obnoxious youths would soon arrive creating major negative air pollution. Couples or families would yell non stop with zero regard for others. I thought staying in an upscale hotel would ensure a more sophisticated gracious clientele but this was not the case. If you’re someone wanting quiet this is not the place. If you don’t need quiet and peace to chill and just want a nice place to sunbath and be near the ocean this could be a fit for you. Also the hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking. But that didn’t stop my neighbors from smoking on their balcony which would then waft into my room. Even if my balcony door was closed. I alerted the front desk but it didn’t stop. I still had a. Nice enough time but it was not at all what I was hoping for. The staff at the beach were lovely and polite. As were the bartenders in the lobby bar. Q.
I would recommend this hotel! beautiful rooms, 3 pools, great beach, comfy loungers! Great views and comfortable beds! Come on down!
Very disappointed in this hotel, for the price we paid we could have stayed somewhere a lot better, our first room we were placed in had dog hair EVERYWHERE including on “clean” bed. We complained and were moved to a different room with a view of buildings when we paid for a beach view. They informed us that they had no other rooms available. This morning we were woken up at 8am with the manager “stating” we were being too loud. At the time I was in the shower and my husband was watching TV waiting for me to get ready. We told them we had not made ANY NOISE. He insisted we were very loud. Our bathroom tiles were COVERED in mold. We asked for room service and came back to “clean towels” hanging in our shower with long pieces of black hair and dryer lint from previous guests. Note* (I have blonde hair) this hotel is not a pleasant stay at all. Our whole last day was ruined, because we were waiting for over 2 hours for the “manager” to call us back. Extremely disappointed and feel like I was ripped off for my money. Do not recommend any one ruining there vacation to stay at this over priced hotel.
Extremely disappointed in our recent visit. Very loud room amongst other issues. The manager has yet to address this. I was promised a call to address our issues and I’m still waiting. Terrible customer service.
Loved the pool and games for my two younger boys. They played foosball for hours while I lounged in my chair. Santiago was so incredibly nice at check in and made me and my boys feel welcomed and happy to be there!
Excellent service, food and atmosphere.
Hotel was very clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn’t like about our stay was the fact that two of the four elevators were out without explanation. It caused incredible delays in getting up to our rooms. Every day there was a long line in the lobby just to get to the upper floors. The pool was smaller than expected, and the pool food at the bar wasn’t exactly great. Overall it was a nice stay, but not exactly the memorable experience we were hoping for.
I usually don't give 5 Stars but with the service we received from the staff and how attentive they were was great especially the 2 guys serving on the beach Christian and Richard they made are vacation very memorable and special! It was my fiance's birthday and these two went way out of there way to make it special for her! If you are lucky enough to have them take care of you on the beach your stay will be a guaranteed blast! I especially liked how they were so attentive to our 4 yr old son. Great place for kids! Thx again for making our stay extra special and we will definitely be back and bring our family! I highly recommend this place!
We organized our company's annual kick-off at this resort hotel and we hosted over 100 guests with the assistance of the efficient and accommodating hotel staff at Grand Beach. All the executives of the company were assigned spacious suites during the conference so my room was excellent. The hotel gym was outstanding, and it was wonderful to start every day with a work out in a gym while watching the Sun rise above horizon through the floor-to-ceiling window that overlooks the beach. The food was excellent throughout the entire event. The staff helped us organize a feed-the-homeless group exercise where we made sandwiches and pasta for the local food bank. The concierge helped me personally organize an impromptu dinner off site for my team of 60 people — transportation and reservation! We have held many events in different cities and different hotel chains through the years. While most hotels we chose were helpful and efficient, Grand Beach's staff was extraordinary in their dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for us. Bravo!
Very nice hotel. The pool is heated. Nice lights at night. And has a Sandy playground for the kids with lots of toys. Walk area leading to the beach. We had so much fun at this hotel. The view from the rooms was beautiful. Very clean. Parking was easy with the employees. Awesome front desk staff. Housekeeping did a good job.
I was nervous to stay here after reading some of the bad reviews but the second I arrived I LOVED it here! Please do not listen to what those bad reviews say because this is one of the BEST resorts I have ever stayed at! We are leaving today and I will 100% return again. The place absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are so modern and CLEAN. Everything was beautiful from the lobby, the bars, the restaurant, the pool and beach! Every staff member was nice and extremely polite. So glad I didn’t listen to those negative reviews. I can’t wait to come back. Well done Grand Beach!
The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff was very helpful and even opened up the ice cream shop/area for my kids as it had closed by the time we wanted to get dessert. Room service arrived quickly and was plentiful. Ease of access to the pools and the beach were the best part of the trip. Great way to finish up our cruise vacation.
I have been here 2 in the past few months and I wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else. I also recommended grand beach hotel to a good friend of mine who traveled all the way from China on vacation and she had an absolutely amazing and relaxing time. Upscale hotel, always friendly staff and always extremley clean. Definitely could use a few more dining options but everything was close by anyway.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Beach Hotel. They offered great value for the money, The staff were very friendly, and we loved the location, Palm tree shaded pool area, and The beach itself was well attended and set up with chaise lounges an umbrellas. The rooms were clean and spacious. And we had a beautiful side view of the ocean even though our room was listed as a pool view only. Also, our six-year-old son loved playing in the kids areas. The only drawback during our stay was that two of the four escalators we’re not working. So there was frequently a line of guests who needed to get to their rooms or to the lobby. When you’re on vacation, every minute counts, so waiting 5 to 10 minutes to get up and down the floors can be frustrating. I wouldn’t have minded so much except we were there five days and we only saw repair men on site the second to last day we were there. Also, this is no fault of the hotel, but there were many loud and/or drunk guests arguing and cursing in the hallways late at night during our stay. Back to the positives, common areas like the lobby and pool area were gorgeous and extremely well-maintained. Lastly, we had Mother’s Day brunch at the Chez Gaston. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff very attentive, and we had unlimited mimosas. We would definitely recommend the Grand Beach Hotel and will probably come back one day… The sooner the better at.
Very beautiful and clean hotel. Pool area is beautiful, beach in front of the hotel is very nice. Room is huge and very clean. It would've been a 5 stars due to a couple of things they need to improved or add. Customers Service, several rude staff members. When the housekeeper came to clean the room they never left face or hand towels. I called housekeeping and requested face and hand towels she told me to call the front desk to request and provide them with how many…
We had a beach view balcony room that was awesome. The king studio is huge with two bathrooms. They have beach access and lounge chairs, which was lovely. This hotel has the best outdoor pool in the immediate area. There is a adult pool on the 7th floor as well. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Especially Maria and Roman at the main pool and bar. The parking fee I thought was as high ($44), but you have to consider it here you are. The resort fee was average ($29). We would stay here again.
Good location on a beautiful beach. The rooms are nice, clean, and modern. The beach service was pretty lacking, as well as the service for the lunch we had in the restaurant. Be aware they automatically tack on a "suggested gratuity" that shows up in the total for everything… this seems like standard practice for hotels in the area. The beach makes up for everything in the end.
Nice and spacious rooms. Convenient Location with direct access to the beach.
We are currently staying here for a few nights and we were previously at another hotel The Confidante (which was absolutely fantastic with amazing service) from the time we checked in here we’ve had nothing but issues. I am with a large party and all of us are having issues, so know this is not a one person review. Firstly, the staff with the exception of the front desk staff is completely rude and act like they don’t care about their job. Very unfriendly and rude. You pay a resort fee that is to include 2 chairs and an umbrella for the beach and we have been at the beach since 11am and it is now 2 pm and the staff is still telling us their is no availability. We tried to order a drink just now with the beach staff and they told us their not accepting new orders because their too backed up. Yesterday we had lunch at the restaurant here and we had to flag down the waiter anytime we needed something (to order a drink, to put our food order in & to ask where our order was after 40 min) Lastly, we ordered coffee at the espresso bar this morning and the staff was not knowledgeable and we ordered a large iced latte and was handed a small. When we voiced our issue we were then told there is no large there is only one size which isn’t what the menu says. Overall-do not waste your time or money here, we had very high expectations seeing that this a more expensive hote than The Confidante. I’m writing this so other people don’t make the same mistake as we did.
Nice staff.
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. What I did not like was the $44 per day rate to park our rental and the food and drinks were super expensive. I brought 2-orders of french fries, a coke and a sprite and that cost $27.94. I got ONE scoop of ice cream and that was $8.00. We ate dinner there only once because the prices were outrageous. I would recommend this hotel if you have extra cash to spend on food, drinks, and parking. Here is a little advice about parking, there is a public parking lot two blocks down on the same side of the street. It was wayyyyyy cheaper to park there and walk two blocks.
Don’t believe all the negative reviews! Our stay was very nice. The resort staff was very nice and the food was great! My husband, son and I spent most of our time at the beach. Our room was nice and clean. We ended up getting the King Suite with pool view, but we got more than just a pool view, we had the beach, Bay and two pool views … very nice! They have a total of 3 pools, but one is for adults only but I saw kids down there as well, which was a part of our view, the second pool view we had was from the hotel next door to us, but both were nice, including the terrace view with the adult pool as well. The only thing that I didn’t like was on arrival the desk clerk stated she needed a credit card on file, which is understandable, but she stated that they were going to charge my card a $300 block…I said why? She said for damages…I said who is going to make $300 worth of damages to a room? And second I did not see anything about this online when booking and reading the terms and policy! The only thing I saw was a $28 resort fee per night…. Nothing about $300…. So I asked for the manager – so when she returned she said the manger stated they would just charge my card a $150 block …even though I still did not want to except that after paying $1055 prepaid to stay at the hotel …. Plus they want to charge additional $300 for a block was ridiculous, I agreed to the $150 and they did refund it back after our last night there as they stated…. So be aware of that!
Overpriced and unclean, staff unfriendly never returned this hotel.
Not recommended.
Very good place to stay I liked it very much.
Oo better is the pool of the seventh floor, only for adults. The views of my room are great. Large and spacious room, with uba room to be separated from the bed.
Gorgeous Hotel! Rooms and lobby were immaculate! Staff was friendly and on top of anything I needed. The only complaint would be the very expensive restaurant for average food and low staffed, the wait staff was very nice and not their fault they were short handed. Overall a great experience in a great spot!
Such beautiful place. Location is perfect if you like quiet and to be close to ocean drive. Very updated. Staff is so sweet and each penny was worth it. Valet parking staff always nice and on time and available. The backyard is the bomb. Umbrella, towels and chairs are included.
Great Hotel, the only thing the towel service has the pool is not very efficient. Also no service around the pool for drinks.
. I am very dissatisfied with your services. I want to pay fees provided that the service is respected. However, it is not the case. Elevator in breakdowns, pool dirty. Pas of towels for the hair must be called to have it. It is necessary to wait 30 minutes to have towels for the swimming pool then sue this one is open since 9h 00. We are obliged to return the towels at 16h or otherwise we are charged 15 dollars. (press photos). The height of everything when you want to talk to a manager, it is never the case that you have not arrived or in a meeting. Finally when you discuss with the manager, he thinks that everything is perfect. This hotel is not a hotel worthy of a 4 stars but rather of a two stars. No service and take the customers for fools.
The hotel is located on Collins Avenue.
Without a car do not go there.
The hotel is beautiful, we had taken a suite in partial ocean/Bay View.
The breakfast is absolutely royal.
You're refueling for your stomach until the evening! A buffet at will really hearty. All the choice of the world!
Pay attention to the bar, always look at your ticket. The hostess had us paid double in cocktails. 100 euros of cocktails and 100 euros of "tips".
The boss reimbursed us the famous 100 euros of tips. So happy ending.
Pay attention to tips in the United States!
As for the hotel pool on the rooftops, top to the quiet.
The pool downstairs is absolutely wonderful, it sounds like a jungle.
As for the room, perfect.
Comfortable bedding and beautiful bathroom/water.
I'll be back!
It's a beautiful hotel right on the beach. The hotel has three pools: two for anyone and one for adults only. I got up early every morning to walk on the beach, and I saw many sea shells and jelly fish washed up. There are hammocks by the pool area and guests receive two complimentary beach chairs per room. I did not eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. There is only valet parking at the hotel, and if you don't want to park at the hotel and pay the fee, there is a parking lot down the road that is much cheaper to utilize. The employees were all helpful as well.
Beware. This hotel is a huge scam. The first thing I saw walking in is a huge stain on the bed. The housekeeping spilled something on the carpet while we were away and it took them all day to come clean it. We ordered room service and the food was disgusting and I have never complained about anything before but I felt the need to write this review. HORRIBLE customer service. The front desk did not care about any of our concerns. BEWARE! They also charge daily resort fees that does not always show up in your original booking. Don’t waste your time! Book somewhere else.
Beautiful hotel. The best the beach and the amenities they provide in it. The room very bright and comfortable with the various views of the sea! He would come back. We loved it!
Excellent hotel. Clean. Central. Comfortable. Elegant.
Very well. Private beach. Clean. Very nice. Nice. I will come back.
Excellent location. Cleaning. Kindness. Cordiality. The bad they charge up the air that you breathe. To the beach charge you. Highly recommended.
I guess you get what you pay for with this one. For the price they offer a lot of amenities and everything including the rooms “look” nice, however if you really pay close attention there are a lot of corners cut leading to some quality issues. Our room had a number of annoying problems such as squeaky and broken faucets, almost impossible to open sliding doors for both the balcony and bathroom, and some over all fit and finish problems. The hotel seems to offer a lot of luxury for the money, but the quality of the luxury is lackluster. Overall good bang for the buck hotel compared to most. P. S. If you have a room on a high floor be ready to spend a good portion of you day either waiting for an elevator or being on one.
Beautiful rooms with amazing views. The pools are great with easy beach access, and there is a cute little play area for kids. However, it seems like no one at the front desk, housekeeping, or valet desk answers the phone. It took 6+ hours for them to address a very minor issue with our room, not including how long it took to actually get through to someone who could help. Improve customer service and this is 5 stars.
The breakfast is just great the waffles are delicious, the fresh fruit, the staff is very hospitable, however the housekeeping of the rooms leaves a desire even when putting the bed sheets, they are not changed.
Overpriced, catastrophic service, Schmuddellig and constant failures of elevators. Every day people are stuck in the elevators! We were even trapped twice in the elevators. A woman suffered a nervous breakdown. Just don't stay here!
Was at the end of March 2017 at this hotel.
Very clean. Spacious and modern furnished rooms and friendly staff.
On request I got great tips for shopping and leisure.
Great hotel located in Middle Beach.
Beautiful beach and swimming pools with whirlpool superlative.
Very helpful and attentive staff.
Perfect room cleaning.
5-Star Service.
Great location close to bridge connecting Miami Beach from Miami city.
Regular customer for more than eight years, there is always a good service, always clean.
Hotel to recommend.
The hotel is clean and very nice, good attention, but the parking is very expensive are 45 usd on the day, there was a nearby public parking lot between week super well for that you pay $ 10 the day but the weekend will stop a few people in the parking lot that they do not let you use the parquimetro if not they charge 40 per day, so it is not recommended to stay in this area if you have a car already that if you are staying a week, you will pay a parking extremely expensive…
Very nice luxury property and all cared for in the details. The staff are helpful and always ready to help you. Great in cleanliness. The buffet breakfast Although not very cheap is rich in the variety of food choice and is of quality. To be recommended to young couples but also to families. Only bad note is not in the heart of the city.
Very good hotel. Excellent service. Sds.
Nice hotel with huge rooms. We had lateral sea views on the 14th floor. The pool area with private access to the beach is very nice. Unfortunately, the doors of the rooms downstairs have a gap which keeps light falling and it was very noisy. The regular price of almost 500 dollars per night I find overpriced.
A good hotel in a good location, opposite the beach and with all the necessary comfort to spend a great stay in Miami. It has everything you need and more. The truth is that if some day I travel I alojaria on this site once more… I Hope I have served my comment and until next time…
Good place at good price, the parking cost is $42 a day and the food is good. What I didn't enjoy was that the hot tub was closed to public by 5.30 pm! I hated it, same with the pool. They had a great view and respected my reservation king size bed with ocean view. I would definitely come back, the people at the front desk were respectful but the valet was rude.
I'm hosted at this time… the truth q so that charge should be more responsible for what q left to get to the rooms. According to the reception of this time, the hotel does not have security… anyone can access to let you what q is x under the door…
I love it. One of the best hotels of Miami. Don't order any drink at the bar is very good. The breakfast is spectacular. You notice that you will be charged to part of the accommodation. Everything works. A lot of european tourism and on the weekends some americans. In the reception some of the staff speak Spanish. You serve very well.
We had an egg clean, nice room for 4 days inhabited and were very satisfied.
The rooms were good, nice sized etc. The staff could clean the room better (despite tipping). Why the one 1stern comes is that we charge our rental car in Park valet and I was taken on the last day by the car's reverse bank an expensive sweat jacket. On the response of the staff, came typical statement that the no jacket would have seen a downless cheek (45dollar parking fee per day and then you will be stolen from your car.
Very clean hotel. Lots of extras. But the bellboys hold their hands too fast.
Great hotel. Great stay. I suggest.
I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in the Grand Beach Hotel. I booked a reservation for Sunday October 8 — Monday October 16. I reached out to a manager via email regarding their best rate guarantee/upgrade. Only then was I informed that they cancelled my reservation since I booked through a 3RD party website and due to hurricane Irma, they are only accommodating guests that booked before September. However, the end of their email stated that if I want to stat at their hotel for my dates reserved, I will need to pay double the price. I had my entire vacation planned out and booked, Now my hotel reservation is being cancelled a week before we were suppose to leave.
My sister and I loved the room, lovely balcony, pools, beach access, and the shrimp cocktail Yummy. Staff was kind and very helpful, location wasn't very close to the popular spots, but taxis were readily available. The local bus and trolley service seemed to be working regularly also. All in all we had a great time.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days and enjoyed every bit of our stay! The customer service was great, and the amenities were fantastic! Our room was large and had a great view, even though it wasn't a beachfront view. The heated pool was a little too warm, but that's just my opinion. The only downside was the fact that most places to eat, we had to take a Lyft to get to. All in all, I would definitely reconsider the Grand Beach when we come back to Miami Beach!

RespondWow this is a great hotel its a very nice and clean I really enjoy my visit there… forreal. Staff was nice and helpful, my room was clean and neat,, large balcony area and beach view… food and drinks was great. Pool/ hot tub area great. Its little construction going on right now but it won't be in the way though. I will stay here again when I visit Miami again soon❤️
The location of the hotel is great and it is right on the beach. However, we had numerous issues with our room. First, the patio door did not open. The hotel staff fixed this issue for us. In addition, when we arrived, there were short black hairs in the sheets, which suggests they were not changed, or were not adequately cleaned. The most significant issue, though, was the fact that the toilet did not work for the duration of our one night stay. We called the front desk and they came to try and fix it, but it persisted. When we called again, no one came to fix it. Therefore, through the night we had to go down 11 flights to the lobby to use the restroom. When we asked to speak to the manager, there was no one on duty. They did compensate by removing the resort fee from our bill. However, I do not feel this adequately rectifies the situation. It is not as if it was a minor issue. We had no bathroom, which is a major part of the room. We were directed to email the hotel manager. It has now been ten days without any response from the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.
I was quite impressed with this hotel. The grounds are nice, and I'm sure it be even better after the construction is over. That was my only complaint: not pleasant to hear drilling while trying to relax by the pool. It only lasted about an hour, but I didn't expect them to be working on the weekend. The room was very clean and the bed confortable. Our room had an awesome view if the bay and the beach. I'd definitely come back.
Best hotel if you are looking to stay in Miami south beach area. Staff is friendly and helpful. You get a great view from the room. There are two pools and third one is under construction. You get private beach entrance with two towels and chairs. Parking is expensive and would cost you $42 plus taxes but there is a public parking couple of blocks away for $1/hr. Overall great experience and stay.
Best Value for money!
The location is great. On the ocean shore. The restaurant is very expensive. The parking is worth $40. A day. But there are parking lots for $10. A day. We really enjoyed it here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Clean room. A lot of Mexicans, they're rude. I feel like you're in Mexico.
Great hotel prices Abbordardabili… unique Neo one woman at breakfast in the morning Hispanic rude… if I were in the property I would change it.
Great location. I liked everything.
Elegant and refined. Very quiet and beach at 10 meters. 10 minutes from the chaos of Ocean Drive.
We were charged an additional $20 from booking due to a supposed city tax increase. I asked for the original booking price to be honored as I had a recent confirmation in April from reservations for the original rate, but was told "it's only $20" and I would need to call reservations to get a credit. Dont tell guests they get complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, but not have enough to accommodate. We were unable to take advantage of this "amenity" that is included in the daily resort fee. We had 5 people in our room and not enough face cloths were available the first two nights. The first night they brought us hand towels and said they were out of face cloths and the 2nd night we called and asked for face cloths and no one ever came. The linens were dirty upon arrival, including the bed skirt, but they only changed the pillow cases and informed is we would have to wait till morning to get the bed skirt etc. Changed. Lack of customer service or regard for our stay was unappreciated especially when paying over $500 per night. We will be back to Miami, we will not be staying at Grand Beach Miami.
Very bad experience, first off for this location the pictures are nothing like in person, horrible no. Terrible customer service. They charge me for valley with a car that doesn't belong to me, I got the room with the carpet wet, I complained about it no one cared or ever sent for help. Front desk double charged me for my room, the bathrooms look a little old. The food was not the best. Front desk doesn't give you any knowledge about the hotel or ask to see if I had any questions except for the receipt to check out to over charge me. I travel a lot and had been to many hotels and I will definitely advise anyone to don't waste their time, it's not worth it, either you go for a much cheaper hotel or one higher because this is a little bit of both except this one has a motel feeling in the rooms. The view was the only this that was good but the if it's Wendy the room glass doors makes a lot of noise and you might have to leave the door open to prevent the noise : — (
Beautiful hotel in Miami, but the worst customer service, their website is so tricky, I booked a room which says beach view, they will give you partial view only and they said no there are other rooms has full beach view but you have to pay more. Found many other complaints from customers regarding the same, room was too spacious and all renovated, also the receptionist was too rude and aggressive upon check in took my credit card told me go to your room, no receipt no explanation on the hotel facilities, if you want to ask the reception for any information you have to queue, only 2 receptionist, beach boys was too helpful and valet team, car parking will cost 35$, no free Wi-Fi, you have to pay resort fee daily plus taxes, Wi-Fi wasn't working at all.
We were family with 2 little kids (1&3) staying ay the hotel for 3 nights We booked a suite for $ 400 a night. we got a room with NO on shelf in the bathroom, we needed to put everything on the floor Make up bag, hair iron, toiletry bags, everything! You needed to be an engineer to try and open the door of the second bathroom… again we we're 4 people. After waiting for the crib for too long (the baby was so tired), we called and asked if someone can set up the sofa bed for out toddler, the guy from guest service said " there are sheets in the closets, you can make it yourself". We thought it was a rude response, so the day after we complained to the GM, who promise he will take care of it and make sure the room will get a vip clean service. We were amazed when we got back to the room, see both the toddler bed and the crib where a mass, the room STILL had only 2 shower towels and 2 pillows (see pictures), we are 4 people, why we need tho share towel or to wait 20 minutes to get more towels. The room was priced like 5 starts hotel, $ 400 a night, but in fact it shouldn't be priced more than 2 stars hotel. The hotel host many Air line crew, maybe thats the reason they don't care about service. Will never go back.
Rooms well but do not include parking and the price for parking the car is as of a room of a hotel 2 * USD35 x day too much for a Hotel that should have it included in the price.
Also charge excessive prices for everything, from receiving a package up to the resort.
We recently had a great stay. The four stars are for a well kept hotel with two great pools and excellent access to the beach. The main pool is a little over crowded and shady with all of the palm trees but there is a 7th floor pool with no over head cover for adults only if you want the rays. The drinks and food are expensive and the location is not good for running to grab food elsewhere or else I would give this a 5 star rating. Subway is a 20 minute walk. UBER will be your best friend at this hotel. It is far enough away from South beach that it is not crazy but the down side is that there is nothing really within walking distance for food, shops etc. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with our room offering a great view. Search around for the best prices and make sure to watch the daily resort fee charge as some reservations already include them.
Very bad experience and they should care to articles that one as a guest leave confident and toilet people take it.
I step with glasses who knew where he had left them and I went out in the afternoon to know miami with others who had, comes in the night and the next day intending to change lenses as they were and no one gave me reason…
Bad experience I had…
It is a cute hotel, beware that parking the car, to my I was robbed! The neat room, but we were 4 in 1, and two were in a futon very uncomfortable!
Noisy room with no insulation to the hallway that had rooms with a connecting door, behind it is the life raged in the night. Parking in the Hotel is much too expensive, bad dinner (Steak came cold from the kitchen, drinks to forget but were on the bill, friendly staff gave us immediately another room, to extremely loud noise every 7-10 min. From the air-conditioning. Anyone who wants some peace and quiet, should not book.
I am a travel agent with AAA Texas and I have been trying to get in contact with your reservations line to update my hotel stay with my agency Iata number. Finally, after several phone calls, voice mails and an email attempts, I was able to speak to someone only to rudely have her hang the phone up in my face because she could not tell me what you had to offer for travel agents. I have left a voicemail with the reservations supervisor regarding my situation. I leave for vacation on March 17th and I am really looking forward to enjoying my stay in Miami. This property seems like a pretty nice property and I would hate for my vacation to be tainted due to poor service.
Excellent and very good care, the staff is very friendly.
I would have given an almost 4 star at least if it wasnt for the customer service experience after I left. I had a fraudulent charge on my account where the desk allowed someone not authorized on my account to charge her bike rental at my expense even after I made a note on my account not to let anyone but myself make charges. They accepted fault while I was in front of them refunded my account but the next day when I was in houston I notice they had recharged my card. This is unacceptable and illegal. I have made a complaint with my bank (thank God for a great bank) and will continue to complain to all resources about this hotels behavior. When you put up a deposit and your name is on the room I should not have to feel insecure about how unsafe my card is. I enjoyed my stay for the most part but having my card charged just erased any happiness I had about ever staying here again.
Very slow costumer service. The other morning I went to get an expresso at the caffè around 10AM and the lady working there named "Charlene" said " we dont have coffee at this time… We thought they would bring it by 10 but I guess not and I dont know what time they will have it". The other situation by the pool where one of the guys that serves responded to my husbands "thank u" with a " OKAY". At the beach, you order lunch and it takes 1 hour to bring peta bread with hummus, what if you order something more sophisticated? Now I cant blame the workers but I do blame the managment who is supposed to be on top of running and managing the hotel who is supposebly a 4-5 star rating hotel… Do they thing about having people return or just screw people up once and for them to never come back. Maybe its good people outside of US whom probably dont have a better idea of how good service, but I gotta say that the trump international hotel in sunny isles meets my standards at costumer service and I will definetely be going there everytime I come to Miami.
Clean and new building. The people who work there need to be inserviced about how to ask people if they want somethjng to eat or drink when they are at the beach or at the pool… Very slow costumer service. If youre someone who doesnt care about theyre service than this is the place to go.
The staff, service and food were outstanding. The Ocean Front King Suite was perfect for the beautiful view and spacious area. The hotel is not overly large which makes for short walks to the pool and beach. You can't go wrong with this property and staff!
I'm going with my family next week, from day 13 to January 18, 2016. I hope to be a good experience, the hotel offer in Miami is wide… so I want to take a very good impression of the service. I have reviewed the suggestions of the guests, and as there is good, there are also very bad references. We will see you soon.
The hotel is a beautiful property. The service and food are terrible! We ordered Lunch at the beach. I took a very long time and not only that; the two lunches were cold, the salad came with no dressing and although I asked for the dressing in two opportunities, while my salad got hot under the sun, it never came. Therefore, I paid for a salad with grilled chicken, but I could not eat the salad; just the chicken, which after sitting in the sun with the wedge salad, made me pretty sick. The other order was sliders with french fries; the sliders were ice cold and the french fries were soggy like they were made 2 hours before they were served. I am thinking on disputing the charge. It is sad to see that such a beautiful property has so many bad reviews. Another time, when we got coffe at the coffee and gelato bar, the person behind the counter was preety rude to us too. I am thinking on disputing the charge with my credit card company. I see that everyone that reviews the hotel get a pretty standard answer. I think they will only change if we reverse the charges; otherwise they will not care.
The room seems newly renovated, and is very modern and clean. The bed is wonderful. The partial ocean view is great, probably better then full ocean view rooms, because we also get a gorgeous view of the bay. My main complaint is that the living area and sleeping area of the suite are not completely separate rooms.
I liked the hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable. You remove a star because of all the extra clmo parking ($35 x day), resort fee (20 x dia mandatory) etc, I found it very expensive.
Book through tourist agency to march 2016, I will bring the whole family, we are 5 with a baby of 18 months, I hope the stay is great and the hotel surprised us pleasantly, it is but, I would like to be in contact with the people from the hotel in advance… having the open credit calificaremos with the maximum our Future stay.
My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights and loved it! We arrived early at 5:30am before our check in time (2:00pm), "Henry it Harley" — manager/supervisor at the reception helped us get a room to get some rest until our room gets ready! He was so helpful and welcoming. Our stay was awesome we loved the "king beachfront suit" and all the facilities, employees are friendly and willing to help including the waitresses/waiters at the restaurant. The price is really good for what u get; but keep in mind that you would pay more than you expect. A valet parking for 35$ p/d — but it's all worth it. Highly recommend it. Btw beach is awesome and service there is awesome too specially "Julio" has a great customer service.
Let me start off by saying its a beautiful hotel, recently updated, but with the exception of a great Valet staff it ends there! Upon check in our room wasn't ready, we were there at 1pm so its understandable, we were put in a double room awaiting a suite. 2 hours later it still was ready, talked to 3 different front end employees. We now have wasted time not wanting to unpack in a room that wasn't ours. The 4th person advised us their suite is just 2 adjoining rooms and we were already in 1/2 of it. Would have been nice to know before wasting 3 hours by the time we were informed. Saturday night we got back to the hotel at 8:30 pm, we wanted to swim, all pools and hot tubs close at 8, we wanted to enjoy a drink with friends outside, we asked at the bar if we could sit outside even with the pool closed, told yes we ordered aa $60 round of small drinks for 4 and sat just outside the back doors on a wicker couch. Not 5 minutes went by and a VERY VERY RUDE security guard kicked us out, no alternative option to sit, no polite "_this area is closed but you can sit over here" and wasn't going to let 2 friends who had gotten up to take a picture go back for their drinks, told us to go to the bar and get another drink. He ruined our relaxing and enjoyable night! I decided to tell the night manager, he could have cared less. He didn't ask for my name, room number or offer a hand shake or apologize. He said he shouldn't have done that they way he did and will talk to him. That's it.
Beware when agreeing a price that they don't add on extras. They did when we stayed and when challenged on checkout just said that they had my credit card details. I asked to speak to the Manager and was told he was called Mr Genman (GENeral MANager! ) I don't think so. Haven't even got the courtesy to provide a real name. Major arrogant attitude and when I said to him that "it was a rip off" he said "you're right! " Nice hotel but really really terrible customer service and experience and would avoid. Plenty of other hotels around where you won't get treated like dirt. Wow after posting my review I have just read many others that are very similar and most being one star, yet all the hotel respondent says on them all is "I hope we will see you again when we can make it better! " Are they stupid? You don't go back to be insulted again.
Beware when you book room online or they might double charge you. I reserved a room, changed my move in date, but cancelled it at a later date (well before the deadline). However their system showed that I booked 3 times, only cancelled 2 of them so still charged my credit card for the first night for the last room. How shocking… I called them 4 times in total and got transferred between 3 departments and a so called "billing department" which does not exist (I think the front desk person didn't even know they don't have a Billing department but an accounting department) … This showed incredible poor management from the hotel side and a poor website design. Finally I got attention from one of their managers and he said to wave my charge. However no credit back yet from the hotel… still waiting and the $200+ charge got finalized in my bill. 200+ dollars is not a big amount but still this whole thing stinks. If your website can't handle "change reservation" function, why bother set up one? If your customer services don't even know their jobs how could they answer your questions? Sick of getting bounce back and forth between their departments. So sick of their lack of actions.
Terrible customer service at this hotel. The rooms are nice. That is the only redeeming quality they have. Room service was not sent up promptly within the 40 minute quoted wait time and once it did arrive the order was wrong and it took them an additional 45 mins to redeliver after the first wait time of an hour. It wasn't hot either. Because I didn't have a good experience with the room service that morning, I ordered delivery in the evening once I got back from a long day of work. They wouldn't allow the delivery guy to come to my room and kept requesting I come down to receive it. I explained I approved of them sending someone up but I was in a bathrobe and did not want to come down. They told me it was their policy. Of course I looked online and read their policy and it was nowhere to be found that they do not allow delivery to be sent to the room. The manager agreed finally to send someone up after about 5 minutes of coaxing. Not okay at all. My bath tub was not cleaned. There was a ring in the tub. The internet did not work on my phone. Moreover, upon my initial arrival there was a bag of trash that sat out side my room for 24hrs. Not sure where it came from. This hotel just doesn't pay any attention at all to detail. All in all, I'd say this is the place to stay if you have absolutely no expectations for service from their staff. It's a nice place to lay your head at night but that's about it. They will not do anything for you.
Until recently, I have highly recommended this hotel to friends and family. However, based on my last experience in Sept 2015, I will no longer recommend this hotel. The hotel has gone downhill in many ways. 1: I had tremendous difficulty with the reservations staff, they put the dates of my stay in their system incorrectly. It took 3 40 minute phone calls to try to fix this problem. I was told on each call that someone would get in touch with me from Reservations and NO ONE EVER CALLED or EMAILED. However, I did get an email from them charging me for not showing up for the incorrect date! It then took another 2 40 minute phone calls with the same explanation, someone would contact me and NO ONE DID. Finally, I was able to speak to someone who was able to refund the charge, and put the correct dates in the system. 2. When I arrived at the hotel, which was under construction/renovation, there were numerous problems. Only 1 of the 4 elevators worked, which created a 10 minute delay each time you needed to use the elevator. 3. I was originally supposed to stay at the Grand Beach Surfside, not the sister hotel the Grand Beach Hotel. I was not told that the hotel they put me in was under construction, and I should have been told this. We were going here on vacation, and it was anything but. 4. Another issue was that I had called for towels and they never came. 5.
Extremely irritated by this hotel and Expedia. The hotel just to warn you charges a $100 a night for incidentals and cost of the hotel for your full stay up front. We booked pay later on Expedia and the amount that said due at hotel was no where near what we had to pay up front. When you book the hotel also even though Expedia says pay later it isn't totally true. They will hold (charge) you at that time as well. This has been a nightmare. We arrived for a fun girls getaway and have been surprised as soon as we walked in.
Very good everything in general. Come back without a doubt.
I'm hosted now. You charge everything. This in remodeling and that makes forming long queues at the lifts. I want to charge$48 for a few packages that got to me. In my room I don't have internet, and despite a note of it did not do anything. 35 parking, 22 resort fee and internet. The room excellent. The bed even better.
This is the second time at a grand beach hotel. The hotel is great awesome service but it would be nice if the pool area didn't close so early i'm really bored in the room not much to do at night other then watch TV and sleep. No fun…
After 3 weeks, was in Florida this Miami Beach Hotel is the most expensive and the worst of our trip. Actually, it should be the crowning glory. Already through the travel Agency booked and paid for, was as common in the USA, the same credit card through. In addition to the very expensive 35USD Vallet Parking was also a Resort Fee of 25USD will be due. You refused to give us the room to give before I do not for the Resort Fee to sign. It was explained to us that "free" Wi-Fi and Beachtowels in this Fee that would be included. The latter gave it to 18 o'clock but already no more. The two elevators in the house were a disaster. 10 minutes waiting time, can already occur. Although we have nothing from the mini bar to have drunk, we were drinks in the invoice. Just I see in the credit card settlement, that a further 46 USD without my Knowledge on my credit card was charged. Positive: It was a very nice, clean rooms, nice Pools and beach chairs with umbrella. This Hotel I would never visit again, and it can also not recommend.
I was already two times in the last 18 days, I got out of the Hotel the day 29-07, and I honestly don't spend anything good as this on remodeling and I was never notified of this issue, blows from the early morning, the loss of water in the morning, Parking on sold. Failure to train junior staff and especially the management, an establishment where the Guest is the most important thing is not managed from behind a desk. I'm not coming back if I don't have a real offer, as the price to pay was high for the service received, not to mention the explanations and excuses from the staff.
I'm so excited for my up coming trip with my daughter. This will be my first vacation on my own and the hotel looks wonderful. 24 days till vacation. I hope it's as wonderful as it looks!
Let's start by saying I loooooved this place. Pros: It's beautiful, the energy is calm and respectful. My boyfriend and I stayed on the 19th floor (someone said we were lucky because it was one of the best floors). I have to agree. We had view of the ocean and the city. Everything was CLEAN. All white Everything. Furniture was VERY well kept, comfortable and up to date. Two Large flat screens, fluffy king bed, two baths etc. It was so quiet up there I almost thought we had it to ourselves. We sipped champagne and watched the sunrise most mornings. So I loved the room, it was a lil' cold and hard to get an in between room temp. The bathroom was large, shower pressure great, water nice and hot. Cable channels were basic. Whose really watching TV anyway? The pool area is sweet! Completely shaded by palm trees except the Jacuzzi. Even with kids and families it was still really enjoyable. No shade I love kids, just saying. There is also an adult pool/ bar on the 7th floor which stayed open late. The private beach area was cool too but if you'd like a lounge chair come out early it gets crowded. Even still it's very respectful. I sat at the shore prayed and meditated undisturbed. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on taste, smelled great tho. We did order room service and the food want the best so we opted to eat else where. Also we stacked the fridge with our own snacks, drinks, champagne etc.
At the Chez Gaston, starting off with a pretty horrendous day, we go in to quickly to grab a bite since it was right in our hotel, The Grand Beach Hotel. So we ordered and sat there for a while waiting for food. We started looking around and every table got bread and butter, except us. We called a guy over and asked why we didn't get bread, and he said hold up, the he got another guy. This guy gave us some attitude and we were just wondering why we didn't get bread and stuff like that. He kept pushing at us, so do you want bread then? 'YOU WANT BREAD? ' Like no, stop yelling we already ate why are we going to want more bread. Then he goes what do you want from me then? 'You want to kill me? ' What attitude are you even giving me. I honestly just found the service and attitude at this restaurant very negative and horrible. This made my last day in Florida even worst. Your customers do not need your sassy attitude, also the food wasn't really hot.
I haven't checked into my room yet, but I've had a terrible time getting information about my reservation. I've called the hotel twice (using the number listed on the website) for logistical reasons, and each time I've been told that the corporate office does not have access to reservations made directly through the hotel. Each time, the person answering the phone was frustrated about not being able to help me and gave a detailed explanation about how the corporate office computer system works, etc. When I asked to be transferred directly to my hotel, I was told, "They don't like us to do that. " After being put on hold during both calls for an extended period, the representatives were eventually able to provide the basic information I requested. The reviews describe the hotel as beautiful and luxurious, but management should invest some money into IT. The employees are obviously frustrated over this problem, which apparently happens often. It's also frustrating for the customers. Hopefully the actual hotel stay will be worth the trouble.
Excellent as fuy two years 10 days each time it is a very nice hotel, all very friendly and helpful.
I am very excited to stay at the Grand Beach Hotel. Me and my soon to be wife will be taking our honeymoon to Florida where we will make our way to miami beach. I read mostly great reviews on the cleanliness of the hotel as well as the scenery that comes with it. Also I love the 3 pools and 2 jacuzzis. Not sure if the adult pool is a nude pool or not? Maybe someone can inform me on that. But hopefully the negative reviews with the food and service I read about doesn't happen when we go. I am hoping the hotel will surprise us with a honeymoon gift that will be waiting in the room when we get there! Anyways looking forward to our trip.
Worst hotel in florida. Horrible hotel. 2 out of 3 Jacuzzis I used were not hot. The one that was hot should have been warmer. The managers hire dumb people at the reception as well as maids. Both managers should be fired. Here is why. The maid asked if I wanted the room cleaned and I told her no and gave my explanation. She did not speak English and only spoke Spanish. Hey do we live in Spain or Mexico? She was actually talking to me in Spanish. Hey why don't you come back to your own country because smarter people in America should have your job Also the front desk is a fail. On my first day I told them to not clean our room unless I call. They could not comply and every day maids were harassing us asking if we wanted our room cleaned. Then I called twice and requested the room to be cleaned and the maid shows up 25 minutes later. The service is horrible! We are in room 370 and you should give us a full refund and apology. We are staying here until April first so you know who we are. Additionally this place does not provide microwaves and the guess bathroom sink was clogged and is not draining. Also the refrigerator they give you is tiny and 70% of it is filled with crappy food that the hotel wants you to buy. It rained one day and the TV was out the whole night and it didn't even rain hard. Imagine staying here for a week when it's raining everyday? Did the hotel offer anything to customers since the TV was out? No.

RespondI cannot stop thanking the Grand Beach Hotel and its Staff on how amazing my wedding anniversary weekend was. The room was perfect I had a perfect view to both the ocean and the bay. I was astonish by how clean the entire place was. I was greeted by Emily at the reception area and since that moment my amazing weekend started. Due to the delays of the flights the Grand Beach Hotel was nice to give me a late check out. When we got to our room we found a bottle of champagne with chocolate cover strawberries, my mouth literally dropped. I was amaze at the note that the staff had left us congratulating on our marriage. The pools were clean, the Jacuzzi was excellent. Everything absolutely everything was wonderful. I stay in room 1528 and now that is now my lucky number. The bed felt like a cloud. The housekeeping staff would greet you with a smile which I felt was important because it added to the atmosphere the friendliness of the place. The beach and the service in the beach was wonder and they made me and husband feel at home relaxed. Over all this was a dream come true for us. This is the beginning of a tradition because I will go back to the hotel in the future. Thank You Grand Beach Hotel for everything this will be forever remember. This was my past review: I have not gotten to the hotel yet and I'm feeling a bit disappointed already.
My reservations are coming up (06/04-06/07). Im actually staying here for my birthday. It will be my very first time in miami period and Im looking forward to seeing the great things this hotel offers — im already excited.
Trying to be fair and concise: — very nice private beach — unbeatable view for the ocean view rooms, with nice balcony — restaurant is very very average, food is almost terrible. Certainly too expensive for what it is, this is a real no go — the hotel as not so much to offer, just this small restaurant, some sort of "nespresso" coffee joint. — it's very very much family crowd, lots of kids and family all over the place. No problem with that but you should be aware — no evening life at all, we came back from restaurant at 11.30 and the "adult bar and pool" were already close, no way to get a drink — room and bed were good (though I still miss a real size bathtub. ) — a lot of cucumbers final note: way too expensive for the quality it really is.
I have not gotten to the hotel yet and I'm feeling a bit disappointed already. I have a reservation on the following dates 03/13/15-03/15/15 (King Bedroom Suite Partial Sea View) my flight unfortunately will be arriving around 7pm and we are probably going to check in around 8pm. All I asked was if there could be a 1 hr. Of courtesy check out since we are losing 4hrs. But the person who was answering to my emails simply stated that I would have to pay 150$ extra for an extension and when I explain my situation it was as if I was talking to the wall. Did not offer other service as courtesy or anything similar to that. I hope this is not the same attitude at the hotel since I'm celebrating my anniversary for the 1st. Time in Miami. Really hope that the atmosphere is a good one just like the reviews say. So far as service goes I would say a 2 I hope when I get to the hotel my view on their service changes.
Stayed at the hotel me and my family, we got a beach view but only received partial view, the king suite was very very small I think about 450 sq, no microwave, no washer or dryer, no bathtub, the worst was the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable I only slept for 3 hours that night, defiantly not worth my $700 a night stay!, I stayed at other hotels before near that area paid $300 a night with 800sq+ suites. When I checked out they never asked me how my stay was or anything its like they know they are full of scam, I do not recommend a family to go there also I got very sick the next day with a cold, so was not happy with this hotel at all. I rate it 1.5 stars out 5.
Place that sails all the money spent, well kept and very comfortable,
wide rooms, with living room and separate bedroom with two bathrooms, spectacular views of Miami and the ocean, extreme kindness of the staff.
The pools are very relaxing, both that of the other two floor 7, as well as the beach in front of the hotel.
The food is a bit wanting and is expensive as all the food in the USA.
Stayed here from 12/19-12/26/14. Beautiful property and location, if you want quiet, low key and scenic. Well appointed and large rooms. Great service all around. Got an excellent price on a huge upgrade. The private beach is lovely. The multiple pools and hot tubs (especially with a 21-over area) gives everyone plenty of room. Workout room is nice with a view overlooking the beach. All views from all rooms provide great scenery, even if not directly facing ocean. I disagree with charging $10/day each for normal, folding beach chair. I can see charging a fee for the large umbrellas. I think $35 for mandatory valet parking is high. It was why we cancelled our car rental. Highly recommend using Uber. Got great, good-priced service in the area. Restaurant is reasonably priced for the quality of the food. (My favorite dish was the grouper tacos. ) The "take out" counter for coffee, sandwiches, gelato should be 20% cheaper than it is. For the same items (e. G. Sandwiches), it's the same price as the menu for the full-service restaurant. Recommend keeping some snacks/beverages in the room fridges to keep costs down. It's not walking distance to the denser restaurant areas so held captive by their eating options, which are good but can be pricey after a week-long stay like ours. The food/beverage service for pool and beach are excellent. Generally, this is an ideal vacation spot for up to a week-long stay. My kids, wife and I loved being here.
The only bad thing is q 8 / 9 am start to bother to check the minibar and room service! If even I have gotten when I just out the shower! x the rest all very good.
I took my mom and my daughter on a cruise for her 88th birthday Thanksgiving week. The night before the cruise we stayed at the Fontainebleau. It was a beautiful oceanfront room but that was all I can say good about this place, way overpriced and not that great of service or friendly staff. So on our return from the cruise we stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel and what a DIFFERENCE! From the moment we walked in-everyone was so helpful and pleasant. We got there extremely early and our room wasn't ready but the Front Desk Supervisor, German Sandoval, knew it was my mom's birthday celebration and upgraded us to the most beautiful suite you could imagine! He even sent her a fruit basket that was fabulous! We had planned to go out that night and take in more sights and explore South Beach because my daughter had never been there but we didn't want to leave the room! We watched the sunset, relaxed and enjoyed the fantastic suite. I cannot say enough about the difference in the way we were treated from Fontainebleau and Grand Beach. Everything was superb, clean and the staff was so helpful. If you want to get your what you pay for-Grand Beach Hotel is the place to stay! Ask For Mr. Sandoval, there is a reason he is the front desk supervisor. We will be back for sure and I will never stay anywhere else. Thank you for making my mom's birthday unforgettable. Linda.
They are thieves buy the net an iphone 6 shipping ups is signed by them and say the package disappeared and not regrettable responsible are a hotel of this category which you shamelessly steal if anyone can help me thank you.
Awesome hotel, nice price.
Me and my friend stayed here for Labor Day weekend 2014. The hotel is awesome! It offers a lot of services (for a price of course) it's modern, clean and well kept. Wonderful ocean and city views, very relaxing, smelled nice and we loved the 7th floor pool and hot tubs. The only cons I had was one of the shower curtains/liners in our room was too short so water would flood that particular bathroom floor. The cleaning staff doesn't speak/understand English very well and everything is very expensive! It's also a bit ways from South Beach with a lot of traffic but if you don't mind driving 15 minutes or so, it's cool. Overall good hotel though. Would stay again.
I arrived May 30, 2014 and ate a Chinese Chicken Salad at the resort, followed by two or three drinks (the night before I shared a meal with my sister). In the next couple hours I started to get VERY sick. Spent my first night in Miami on my 30th birthday in bed by 9:00pm cold, shivering, throwing up and violently ill. The next day I couldn't stop throwing up, after a 100 times of being sick I finally gave in and went to the ER and spent my last night in the hospital for over 13 hours. The only thing GRAND about this resort are my medical bills. $12, 000 later! Worst experience, there wasn't even water in my fridge and they tried to charge me for it! I spoke with the F&B Manager on June 1st where he promised me a follow up email. But here I am a month later contacting them to pay the $1, 200 that my insurance wont cover.
We were with my husband 5 days, all good, all pay. Coffee, water, everything you consume, only you have the room, valet parking has 30 dollars per day, but its staff is excellent. Jorge, wadimir. All are wonderful in your care, the beach, 30 dollars 2 sit flush and an umbrella. Per day, all good and very clean. Cute.
Very good. Pro I don't like that charge in advance. To be foreign bank does nothing more than charge a fee for the charges that the hotel makes. Would have to advise better.
I liked my stay at the hotel location to stay more time.
Super hotel. One of the best. Very good and cheap restaurant. The beach is small, but cozy. Next time we will stop it.
Excellent service, facilities are excellent! A very nice and cosy hotel. The only thing reprehensible is that they charge by the chairs on the beach $10 each and sometimes the valet parking is delayed.

RespondVery nice and high quality 4-star hotel offers Suite-style rooms. Only disadvantage are missing opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking within walking distance. By car or bus is fast "with the people. Very friendly and unobtrusive service. We will choose this hotel certainly again in Miami.
We spent two nights in the hotel: very nice room, helpful staff, nice lobby and good breakfast buffet.
The hotel has two heated swimming pools and direct access to the beach.
Unfortunately, parking was ($25 a day) and breakfast (~ $80 for 2 adults and 2 children) extremely expensive.
If parking + breakfast included would be: immediately.

RespondIdeal place for both families and adults, comfortable clean and ideal for the location a few steps from the beautiful sea and its heated pools remains ideal even when the weather is not the best. Polite staff. We strongly advise against the restaurant Cardozo of Ocean Drive expensive and uninterested to the clientele, in fact as soon as we had complaints you are completely disinterested and treated us badly. So we do not recommend the Cafè Cardozo. The Grand Beach is also considered a great choice by the taxi drivers.
