Definitely the best place to stay when in Miami. Staff is AMAZING! Shout out to Paolo, David, front desk girls and housekeeping staff! I wish I remembered by the check out to buy one of the robes they have! Its so comfy! Pool is great, mattress and pillows OMG! Slept like a baby, and that’s something you don’t say too much when sleeping close to the beach! So, Chef is also a plus! The brunch was great and thats actually the first time we enjoyed being in both great hotel and restaurant. We will definitely come back! Tks guys! Keep up with the good work!

We loved it! Great hotel with very friendly staff, especially Jemay, he really went out of his way for us. We highly recommend it here and the beach is only a block away!

The security guard was the best! Extremely helpful and nice. Went out of his way to help us in a pinch. Really loved our stay and appreciated him.

A guest left a package for me and they lie and simple stole my package. I wouldn’t stay in a place like this managed by liars and thieves. Its cheap for a reason people. Watch out!

Staff are the best! We have been going for 5 years since we got married at the Palms and Circa accommodated our guests there. Circa is always taking care of their guests as best as they can! I love Circa 39!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were extremely impressed with the hotel and staff. Staff were always friendly and more then keen to help, Yamila was fantastic and helped me decorate the room as a surprise for my wife. The food from Jules Kitchen is very tasty, I would highly recommend the chicken wrap. Fantastic hotel and we will stay here again if we return to Miami!

Very nice and courteous staff. The rooms are clean and sufficient in size. In addition to the normal facilities, the rooms also have iron and ironing board. The beach is about 2 minutes away from the hotel and in the time from 9:00 — 16:00 you can use your own sun loungers from the hotel. We had booked without breakfast as we are not the "breakfasters". But because it poured in one day, we decided to have breakfast there. It was very tasty and fresh. The selection what is very good and reasonable with a price of 20 dollars! We can recommend it!
Why we pull off a star here, on two days there was heavy rain, which fought its way through the window frame at night. So the night was over and we were busy removing the water.

My friend and I spent 4 nights and 5 days here when we visited Miami for the first time. We both found it to be cute, comfortable, and quiet enviorment to be. The lobby and pool area had a very cute and cozy set up. We got a room with two beds. The room wasn't super big but it also wasn't to small for you to feel cramped in. Plus the shower seemed to had endless hot water and great water pressure. The walk to the beach isn't super long either. And the hotel gives you complimentary beach towels and lounge chairs that are already set up at the beach. It also have an all you can eat breakfast buffet in the mornings as well. You do have to travel a bit to get to restaurants and other attractions but if you use Uber or Lyft its no more than about 8-9 dollars. All in all if your looking for a reasonable price for a hotel along with a cozy and quiet atmosphere I 10/10 recommend this place. I loved my stay here and if I'm ever in Miami again I will for sure be staying at Circa 39.

Amazingly friendly staff, the room was ALWAYS cleaned and spotless once you're back in the room in the afternoon, the shower is very spacious, the bed is beyond comfortable. Regarding the hotel location, it is a 2 minute walk to the beach — you can get 2 free umbrellas and the seats are around $15 for 2, which is a decent deal. The hotel is also located around 20 minutes away from the airport which is very convenient and not expensive when travelling by a taxi (paid like $30). The only downside to this hotel is how you'd have to get a taxi in order to find restaurants to eat as there's not a lot of places to go to in the area. But the uber is not excessively expensive (around $8 each way). Overall, would highly recommend this hotel, for couples especially.

We were asked to not eat or drink in common areas other than from the restaurant or bar on site (nobody wants the same food for a week) All in All great stay I will stay here again on my next visit to Miami.

3.5 — nice hotel one block off of the beach. The people working here are wonderful and friendly. The rooms are updated and fresh, but on the small side. The slight issues… The walls are thin, so you can hear people above and to your sides. The room I had required me to hold the toilet seat up the entire time while urinating, otherwise it would fall because of a design flaw. The beach you can use is very nice except that this portion of Miami Beach is under the direct path of the airport for planes. For the money, $250 per night, when I was there, I would probably look elsewhere. It's fine for roughly half that rate. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz.

The hotel is all style and no substance. Looks nice on surface, but our room wasn't clean, dust on tv, side tables and docking station. Some of the staff are lovely and friendly, then there is a particular woman on front desk who is rude and up herself. My son got food poisoning from jules kitchen, and nobody from hotel enquired after him. They took $200 from my credit card for "incidentals " but only put $150 back on it, with no explanation (I'm still waiting for one). The pool is not worth having, a few beds and a few chairs, looks much bigger in the pictures than in reality, couldn't get near it. The food in hotel is reasonable for Miami prices but was quite bland, so I'd rather pay the extra. I've stayed in some amazing hotels, this was not one of them!

Hotel is very unique and staff is very personable and helpful. Close to beach and they offer loaner umbrellas for guests. (passing showers are a way of life in FL) Rooms are very clean and everything smells fresh and floral :) would definitely come back!

Best smelling hotel I have ever booked. Stayed for a week and loved every minute. The staff were excellent which made my stay even better. I highly recommend this place in mid beach Miami.

Beautiful well-kept little hotel. With its own restaurant (menu could be slightly larger), bar and pool. Via the street you can get directly to the beach with your own beach loungers and umbrellas (is included in the room rate). Very friendly staff. Beautiful rooms. Would go back at any time. Pictures show courtyard, where smoking can also be done.

Decided to take a few days away from Maine and head down to Miami Beach to hang at Circa 39! Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were updated and clean, the staff was polite, happy, and helpful, and the location was just across the street from the beach. Only one real minor addition to the rooms would be nice… our room didn't have any wall hooks for wet towels…

Great hotel! Great location. Beach is about 100ft away from front door and is very private and you can bring food and drink and not be bothered. The rooms were decorated nice and everything you need. Already been suggesting it to many friends and family. I didn’t try any of the food but it looked good.

A great hotel. Is Mega Central on South Beach. A bit more expensive but the breakfast can definitely be booked with. What is also good is that two city tours almost directly in front of the hotel have a station. And just around the corner is a sixt rental station. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Swimming in the pool 24 hours. Unfortunately, the Windows cannot be opened. You've been robbed! That's the law. May be but a pity.

Hammer Hotel for this price/service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are rather small but for the few days it was OK. Very clean and centrally located. A pity you have to pay on the beach $15 for the umbrella, for that the deck chairs are free:) When checking out everything went fast and we had the impression at the end of a family business, very collegial and nice — keep it up!

Great hotel, updated, trendy, great decor, steps away from the beach. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel will give you beach towels and the hut on the beach will give you a lounge chair. An umbrella was $15 cash. We had drinks at the Wunder Bar they were good and great selection. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow, a lipstick stained cup was given to me, they were out of a few items on the menu (hummus platter, tarot chips) and part of our order was missing. The food was tasty though. Once the construction across the street is done and all the heavy equipment moved out, this will not disappoint the south beach traveler.

I was just st Circa 39 for their standard room two days and the last day I have bites on my ear side of my head, under my eye and on my arm. It itches terribly. I suspect bed bug bites. It looked clean, but now wondering if I brought them home. The manager has since called me and said they fumigated and found no bed bugs. He said it could have been sand fleas and offered me one night refund. That was very nice because I wanted to find out what could of bitten me. I do not know they hit the day I checked out, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The staff was kind and very helpful especially the door man.

Missing some more lounge chairs in the pool breakfast very expensive.

Love this place. It takes only about 2 munites to walk to the beach from this place. It has a vacation vibe. Rooms are clean, cozy, and always smells fresh.

Comfortable, modern environment just a few steps from the sea, it has a swimming pool and is equipped with both small refreshment and bar.
Also you can reach, without taking the car, simply crossing the road in front of the property, free public transport like the trolley, or for a fee by means of which in about 10 minutes, you get to Lincoln Avenue, and/or Washington ave where it is nice to walk or go to eat in the evening because there are many restaurants (from Cuban, to Argentinian, to Italian, to Texan etc. ).
There are several shops of all kinds and art galleries.
Perhaps the only flaw, but excusable given the location of the hotel is that the parking is paid.

Love this hotel and it's customer service. They also have great prices. They are right across the street from the beautiful Miami beach, but if you want to Lounge in the hotel, they have a pool, outside cabanas, a bar, and restaurant. Circa 39 is located in a central area not to far from shopping, restaurants, bus and trolley station, South beach, and popular night clubs. We will definitely stay at the circa 39 again when we visit Miami next time! I highly recommend this hotel!

Nice place. Very attentive and efficient staff, we were allowed to do late checkout.

The design and decoration is very nice with many tasteful details. It is one block from the beach (they provide beach towels, lounge chairs and robes). The attention is good. The cleanliness of the rooms could be a bit deeper. The food and drinks services in the pool are a bit pricey but of good quality.

For the figure paid at night of about $200 a similar situation is not acceptable. The elevator broke down and remained unusable for 3 days obliging to move your suitcases down the stairs. The room was redone both times in an indecent way, forgetting to put bathrobes and partially remaking the bed. The breakfast was not included, the parking was chargeable and cost as much as $24 per day.

The rooms are very small and many view wall of the house opposite. We arrived and the elevator wasn't working, so up with suitcases on foot. After three days we leave and the elevator was still broken, it's down with the suitcases on foot. Not to mention the room service, look at the photos of how they make the beds, you might as well not do them at all. The parking isn't there, but I knew that, what I knew instead is that the hotel has a paid parking area, 24 dollars a day. Bad, I miss giving you the stay. Breakfast clearly aside, 20 bucks and broken. Anyway, my advice is "choose another hotel. "

OK without more… Nice concept very Miami… But it looks like a Motel. Non-existent soundproofing… Hallway. At the top. Below… The wall of the room and we had a door communicating… And the Americans do not know the word at all… Stealth;-) ) ) Otherwise the decor is pretty and close to the sea and there is a parking lot!

Small, familiar and relaxed. Nice Garden Park to linger. Food and drink can be taken to the park, hard to please us.

Good hotel! I would definitely stay again there. Very stylish rooms. Close to the beach and helpful stuff. Next door is a convenience shop/cafe where they make good subs. Close to the beach. Hotel provides parking but you have to pay for it. The only thing I didn’t like were the amount of additional fees I had to pay (tourist tax, deposit, gate key etc). Overall, it is a great place to stay while in Miami Beach.

The decor and food is recommended, the place is beautiful and front is the beach.

Achei um excelente curso benefício. O hotel fornece cadeiras na praia sem custo adicional, o café da manhã é muito bom e fica próximo de centros comerciais, como Wallgren, por exemplo, possibilitando ir a pé. O hotel parece ser reformado recentemente, pois é todo novinho. Os quartos tem piso de madeira novos e apresenta uma decoração contemporânea. Gostei muito! Superou as expectativas.

A very nice and charming place! I can highly recommend. Although we had no electricity in some parts of the hotel for 4 days the staff did a very good job to help the guests and make the stay still comfortable. Especially Paolo, Renata and Fabiola were great! And of course the General Manager. The food was also fantastic! Thanks a lot for this nice experience at this beautiful place. We had a wonderful time!

Hotel of average pretensions. The rooms are very small and clean. Nice pool. But very small. Better the sea at two steps. Convenient parking in/out at $24 on GG. To recommend.

Location was great. Very close to South Beach. Across the street from the beach with access to two free beach chairs! Room was beautiful, clean and modern, except that our room was on the first floor with a window to the pool area. There was very loud music playing until very late. Service was also outstanding.

A very nice place! Small rooms but equipped with everything you might need, it has a fresh feeling like it's newly renovated. Loved the pool, beach towels and 2 beach chairs included. Staff was very nice. They have a bar and a restaurant in house. One thing that didn't work was restaurant service, food was OK but it's not very nice to leave your guests waiting 20min for the bill. Nobody wants a 2 hour lunch. They charge a lot for parking but it's good parking right next to hotel. I would totally come back. A tip is to visit the shop next doors, they have everything.

It was a very nice hotel. It feels great.

Hotel was nice, warm and inviting. Staff was friendly. The pool area was nice and intimate. Hotel also had a clean refreshing smell when you walked through. Great for relaxation time. However, I gave a 4 because we had to keep asking for the same amount of towels n wash clothes each night. When it should have been the same as the first night we arrived. The bathroom had this weird smell to it and the breakfast offered was not worth the $40 I was charged. Oh and give people a heads up iguanas are on the property.

We love this hotel. The atmosphere is great. From the hidden garden to the 24 hour pool there is nothing we would change. The food in Julian's kitchen and the drinks at their bar were amazing. The beach is right across the street and the hotel offers free chairs. We are loving everything about our stay.

It was a very cute conveniently located hotel. Located right across from the beach. But my 6 year old son loved the hotel pool, it was small but pool area was really cute. Downtown Miami and South Beach was about a 15 min drive by car. Very convenient to get around to and from hotel. Only thing was they charge a fee for parking each night.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food was delicious and we loved the back garden area. The pool area was a great place to just relax and we loved the fact is was open 24 hours. The staff was really nice to us and the rooms were very clean and neat. We would definitely return again and highly recommend others to visit as well.

For those they want to be close to Ocean Drive one can far away, otherwise quiet and very clean hotel with good food… only downside does not make as I used the safe…! It got me $100 miraculously disappeared from my suitcase.

Like cleanliness, a bit of a walk from the street of the entertainment of the premises, very good to take the bus to the airport.

Very well placed as a little away from the madness and noise 500m lower, but quick access to the beach with guests available to the sun loungers and parasols.
Rooms decorated with tasteful retro style/Art Deco. It changes the bling-bling always 500m lower!
Parking certainly paid but very useful and finally cheap for the place.
Two less positive points:
— The ultra cold air conditioning in the common areas that radiates even to the rooms (Welcome to USA)
-soundproofing between the rooms of the hotel (while from the outside it is OK)

The beach front access right across the street was perfect. The courtyard was beautiful and tranquil. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean and our bed was comfortable. Service was friendly. We were able to walk to South Beach and enjoyed all the shops and restaurants in between. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The hotel was clean and smelled good! The room was nice we had a small toilet problem but they fixed it right away. The Concierge, I thought was not helpful. The parking lot is so small we felt lucky we maneuvered in and out each night, for that we got to pay $24 plus tax per day. But what I'm really upset about is we were there on our honeymoon and they did nothing! The previous hotel at Key West gave us champagne. They gave us these coupons for a spa and tried to pass them off as a "gift" to us… but I knew about these coupons when I booked the room, it was part of room rate. Also I must admit I did not like Miami Beach and probably won't return. Definitely not to Circa 39 because of the honeymoon thing.

Very nice rooms. Beds were super comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Food and drinks were also good and reasonably priced. Beach is just a quick walk across the street.

Friendly staff. Nice vibe. Really good food too. The location can not be beat. There are chairs waiting for us with easy access to the beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel! Our experience there was way better than I had planned for. The room was absolutely beautiful, the staff friendly, and the in house amenities hit the spot. Highly recommend this Hotel, will return next time I am in town.

It has been some years since my husband and I have been down in Miami Beach, but rest assured Circa 39 is our go to hotel. We've stayed with the Circa on every trip and have always been impressed with everything. From the beautifully appointed rooms, which are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff which are so personable as well as knowledgeable of great local attractions and dining establishments. If you need a spa day and massage, they've got you covered. A limo to take you out for the night to eat and dance the night away, yup they do that too. If you're looking to relax and soak up the sun with some cocktails, the pool is absolutely perfect. They also had a great little bistro with light fare. I see that you guys have had some remodeling and redecorating which is stunning. I loved the ever changing art installations featured on past visits with the Circa. So I must say RUN, don't walk and rsvp with them. You will leave happy, relaxed and impressed.

The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach, it hotal is very modern looking and has a great atmosphere, the room was spotless and very nicely decorated, and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel. We had a very clean, modern room with 2 great beds. Liked the small garden! Location vs Miami is excellent — bus to/from airport/ocean drive stops 2min from the hotel. Taxi to ocean drive is $5. Beach is right accross the street (free beds, $10/day for an umbrella).

We were in may 2015 for four nights in this Hotel which we in Germany had booked. We were very kindly received and had in no time our room key. The room was great and modern, large and very Clean. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast was for American standards terrific. Also, you could very well eat an evening meal. The connection to public transport is very good. The beach is 4 minutes away. Sunbeds for hotel guests free of charge. We have us felt very comfortable and the Hotel absolutely recommend and definitely come back again.

My boyfriend and I came in last minute to book a room, and the people at the front desk were glad to book us a room quickly. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. It's also in a great location — a very short walk to the beach. I would be glad to stay here again the next time I come to Miami Beach, Fl.

Excellent! Their on site eatery was mediocre but it was a great experience. Beach is right across the street.

This review is for Wunder Bar only. I cannot find them on Google Maps etc. But they are inside this hotel. I enjoy coming here for espresso but the bar is wonderful and the atmosphere great. The bartender Ivan is exceptional and was the reason I kept coming back. Was able to hold great conversation and recommend several local things and ideas and very knowledgeable.

I don't know where to begin, but my stay here was beyond wonderful! Every hotel attendee that I met was genuinely nice and attentive; the managers that I did meet Juanita and Alex were absolutely amazing. The room was amazing and looked exactly like the pictures. The decor of the overall hotel is absolutely beautiful from the bar to the pool area. The breakfast that they offered in the morning was much better than any typical hotel breakfast buffet that I've ever had. I highly recommend having a drink at the bar, and ordering bang bang shrimp — I did almost every day! Considering the fact that this was my graduation trip the hotel attendees made it a memorable experience, and even got me a small gift! I can't wait to get back! It's truly a hidden gem :) Con: I honestly can't think of one.

We have only in the Hotel on the front of the terrace of what is eaten. It was super tasty and we were of Joel as a waitress very impressed, " he is very hardworking. Love greetings to him.

Clean, new rooms. Poor breakfast cn little choice and ideal position nn x visit the place.

We've spent five days here. It's a nice clean hotel, friendly staff and decent rooms with enough space. These are the basics so to me that's worth 3 stars. There are free beds at the beach, but you have to pay 10 extra dollars for an umbrella. About the restaurant, we ate there once and the food is good but the service slow. It looked like the waiter was missing and the cook had to fill his place. the Wi-Fi is off and on.

I have pretty high standards, and travel enough to say that this boutique is a steal at the current prices. Its very clean, the staff is amazing, the food is really good especially at its price. The service here is wonderful. Its freshly remodeled. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The only issues we had were low water pressure (not the end of the world, the bathrooms are really nice! ) and the chair/umbrella lady st the beach (Sue) is a nasty lady who talks to people like they're thieves. Jorge the bartender is tops! Isis at the front desk awesome. The pool and poolside seating is great, we sat and drank there all night some nights. Really fantastic 9.5 out of 10.

A short cab drive down to southbeach but its quiet and hotel staff is knowledgeable of where to go.
