A excellent hotel choice, extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, which positively impacted my stay from the beginning. I would recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests!

Was looking forward to staying with you to visit my son. He unexpectedly has to go out of town at that time. Called to cancel my reservation and was told I couldn’t. I’v never had a hotel tell me I couldn’t cancel my reservation. Bad policy and not customer friendly. I will never stay in a Holiday Inn Express and suites again or recommend them. We are snow birds and travel a lot. Very disappointed John Beckwith.

My husband had stay here before he told me the hotel is nice, clean and have an excellent staff. So I decide to take the next trip to jacksonville with him and discovered he was right. Our room was clean and the breakfast lady Vanessa was great. She made you feel at home with great conversation and excellent customer service. Thank you Holiday Inn.

We have stayed at this property many times, as it is near family and friends who live on Jacksonville's west side. Everything was satisfactory, meeting expectations as usual, except the room. It was clean and comfortable but the door seemed to have been damaged and was difficult to lock with the deadbolt. The bathroom was in need of repair, though repairs had been attempted, apparently by an amateur. This time, we felt we overpaid for the value received. Let me be very clear: personnel were excellent. Vanessa in the breakfast area is a joy. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which was very satisfactory, clean and crystal clear. Prior to writing this review, I emailed the hotel about my concernd, and have not received a response.

I was very disappointed in our stay. We were on our way to the Gulf and booked one night. We were never told this was a pet friendly hotel. Two people in our party are allergic to animals. We were unable to get a refund and were told there were no rooms that were not pet friendly. While the room was “clean” we were overwhelmed with the amount of air freshener that was used to apparently cover up the pet smell. All people in our party woke up congested. The shower ran out of hot water before you could get through your shower and had minimal pressure. The breakfast buffet looked great if you were a pet, not if you were a person. If never had an issue with a Holiday Inn before so I was very surprised with our experience.

The desk service was excellent and very friendly when we checked in at 7:00pm. Room was very clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast service and food were better than any other place we have stayed. The women handling breakfast service was amazing and made sure everyone had what they needed. Highly recommend this hotel.

In 20 Minutes you are at the Football and Baseball Stadium. Priced very well compared to Downtown. The Hotel is quietly located and clean.

Hotel GM keeping the front desk employee on the phone for 15min whilst 7 guest wait. This is not customer service. The GM should know better! While room was OK sheets were pilled and worn on one bed. Local (employee cars? ) flank the entry to the hotel this makes it difficult for guests to park their cars for unloading resulting in a blocked entry way delaying check in. Front desk employee greeted guests with “name? ” With no explanation of any sort. As a very frequent guest of HIE all over the US and EU I give this one 1.5 stars.

Great resting spot for travelers. Walkable restaurants and grocery is great! Very nice hotel with good breakfast. Friendly staff and was helpful with requests.

I love this place! While everyone here is great some of the staff go above and beyond. Vanessa will start your morning with exceptional breakfast and a bright smile! If you are in a bad mood or having a bad morning she will make sure u leave happy and well fed. Jennifer is wonderful at the front desk. She knows the answer to any question you could have. Andrew is all about his customers and will do anything he can to ensure a great stay. Autumn is just lovely. Shes always nice and greets everyone with a smile. I highky recommend staying at this hotel. It has by far been my best hotel experience.

Hotel was superficial. Not that impressed with what is and has been said about the holiday inn express. Pretty basic hotel. Had to ask for towels as soon as I got there. None in room. Continental breakfast was not good to me at all. Could have been better. Ended up going to eat breakfast elsewhere.

I am a huge fan of Holiday Inn Express. It was a very nice stay and would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to find, rooms were clean and the staff was very nice.

Very convenient to I-10 and US-301. Being on the west side of Jacksonville, it makes a good stopping point when traveling from mid-SC to southwest FL. Breakfast is the typical generic HIExp pre-prepared stuff. It'll fill you up, but nothing to write home about. Their special blend of coffee is just slightly stronger than tea and about the same consistency. The rooms were comfortable, but expensive for Holiday Inn Express.

Nice, big room, breakfast was good… Staff seems friendly and facilities look well maintained… I like the location, it's on the edge of town, so you can walk outside for exercise. Shopping center with an easy walk for food and groceries. I'll give it a solid like!

Only giving 2 stars because the gal in reservations, I believe her name was Ranae, was very polite and helpful, willing to dig and find the answers I needed, if not for her I would have gave a half a star. As for another staff member, our company has had guys stay in the motel a handful of times, and it seems every time Marybeth answers the front desk phone (if the phone even gets answered, usually it rings and rings and nobody picks up). But, oh Marybeth, she talks down to you, I asked a simple yes or no question, and she proceeded to talk to me like I was dumb. Then I had another question, she asked me to hold on for a moment, and I can hear her snarky remarks about me with another employee in the background, then I get transferred without any warning because she didn't know the answer to my question, so if you cant answer my question to you maybe you should watch your remarks you make to me about asking it. Other then that the hotel itself is a fine hotel, but in they eyes of someone who is traveling, the last thing you want to deal with is rude employees at the places you go.

The room was sparkly clean and smeelled amazing! Breakfast had a large selection, free dinner was served but I did not partake. Room was comfortable. Oh, and free beer and wine.

Stayed here during hurricane Irma. Front desk staff Lidia Landis was so very helpful and determined to make sure my family was safe. Then Morgan Jones went a step further in helping us extend our stay! 5 star staff makes a 5 star hotel! Thanks again!

Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was mediocre in the morning. They ran out of pancake mix and had no Belgian Waffles. The hallways and elevators were humid and hot.

A very clean and large dog friendly hotel is worth 5 stars in my opinion. Front desk was kind enough to give my pups some organic treats! Very happy!

Great hotel. It was clean Lobby and great customer oriented and friendly staff. Room was clean and smelled clean too. Breakfast was fully stocked with good customer service also. For the price it's highly recommended. Only thing is location is a little further away then most places.

The hotel is what you expect at a Holiday Inn Express, nice rooms, pool, breakfast, and amenities. The difference is the staff! Lidia and Mitch are very professional and go above and beyond for the customer. We needed the meeting room for a large family to gather for dinner and they made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend if you like professional, helpful, and courteous staff.

This place has went above and beyond for us during hurricane matthew. First they allowed all pets, all breeds. They kept they're employees in house with they're families. They also provided (free of charge) a home cooked dinner for the entire hotel, pulled pork, dogs, potatoes salad, baked beans, etc… just the nicest most genuine breath of fresh air we needed during this storm. We appreciate you and your staff!

The management is very unfair. I had to contact employee affairs for IHG in reference to there conduct of racial discrimination and harassment. I don't recommend this hotel unless you want to get overcharged from the current staff that management has hired recently. I would like to be contacted by ownership since this brand is independently owned and franchise. Since I have been refused that infomation I am writing a review online so someone from ownership or corporate can contact me.

Absolutely terrible if you want to get sleep. I tried contacting the hotel to fix my problems, but they won't call you back because they already got my $$. Pillows were horrible, but the worst thing are their slamming doors. They put my wife and I on the top floor with at least 8 different younger kids in all different rooms. Slamming their doors and running the halls til well past 3 am, and their walls are paper thin too. Nobody at the hotel did a thing. Will never stay at a Holiday Inn EVER AGAIN.

Super dog friendly! The hubby and I were just in town for a night and needed a place on the west side of town and this has the perfect location and needed to be dog friendly as well… since we're IHG platinum members we weren't expecting an upgrade since we had Fido in tow, but got one of their larger corner rooms with a good view of all the local places you could walk to and grab a snack. The Cracker Barrel is just a block a way along with a McDonalds and other shops. Even though the hotel was dog friendly and we saw several dogs there, you would've never known by thee cleanliness of the rooms. Perfect location for travelers needing quick access to both the airport and I-10 & 295 beltway around Jax.

I booked a room through Ihg reservations through my CLC account. I got the confirmation. I called to confirm, not once but twice, because I believe in triple checking to keep from screw ups happening… I go to check in. They would not accept my clc. I had a couple hours before I have to be at work I needed a nap really bad and now I'm in a strange part of Florida with no idea what to do. I called corporate. They set it up where I could use my reward points to have my free night since the hotel did not want to except this CLC payment. It took an hour for this so I check-in and she gives me a receipt to sign stating that I could spend one night using my points and everything would be fine and I could have a late check out so I can find another hotel that would except my corporate lodging. They were rude… So I make it up to my room, I take a shower and lay down and within an hour's time, I'm woken up out of a dead sleep by cops at my door… Like that is necessary… To let me know that the manager feels that I should have to pay cash for my room and she decides to not except the company's rewards… ODD! The whole time now she's recording me and her, the front desk person, and some other person is watching me on video… What to do now. I have to go to work so I had to get dressed and leave for work. No place to go… But before I left I call corporate and they put her on a three-way call with me. She said she never sent the cops that they were just doing a random check.

Dont stay here choose another hotel! for the money you spend you do not get accommodated! worst service I ever experienced from any hotel! this place claims to be non-smoking hotel but is not! we slept on the 5th floor in room 501 and was woke up at 3am by heavy cigarette smell permeating our room. We called the front desk and spoke with a guy names tony who then proceeds to come to our room to smell what we were smelling. He confirmed that he couldn't believe the room reeked of cigarette smoke and didn't know how it came into our room when the entire hotel is non smoking. He advised us to let the manger taunashia gray know, because he couldnt move us to another room at the time the hotel was booked. He promised us the manager would assist us in the morning when her shift started at 7am. So we had to sleep uncomfortably the entire night inhaling smoke. My husband has asthmatic attacks from smoke. We contacted the manger that morning she advised us she would give us another room at a later date to accommodate us with a better experience. We then proceed to go down to the front desk to pay for our room which we really shouldnt have had to pay anything being that the hotel did not keep it's promise, as far as servicing us with non smoking rooms. When we got to the front desk the manager taunashia gray was extremely rude to my husband we advised her before we left the room the smoke smell begain to permeate the room again.
