The people who own and operate this place are the greatest. The staff that work here are all caring and go above and beyond. Glenn and I started our journey with them over five years ago! There is no place else we would stay. Three minutes from the hospital, clean rooms, great prices!

Up date rooms and fixtures and better lighting in the parking lot, better wify reception.

There was a smell in the room but nothing a little Febreze can't fix. The room was okay the beds were comfortable which is a big plus the breakfast was a usual Hotel breakfast.

Both location are great the one in Jacksonville Florida is bigger and have a indoor pool. The one in Gainesville have a outside pool. Both areas have eat in and take outs restaurants and the food is very good for it's prices. I hope while in Florida you check it out for yourself and hope you visit is worth your stay.

Clean rooms. Beds really comfortable. Bathroom is extremely small. There is a pool, but I didn't bring a bathing suit. My husband is in IF Hospital and we got a discount rate because they have a contract with the hospital. Friendly, friendly staff. I would recommend.

Not the fanciest, but clean, and staff very nice and helpful. We stay in the handicap room which is very convenient for us as I have to walk with a Walker. It has a walkin shower and plenty of grab bars in the shower and bathroom area.

Good deal for the price, friendly staff, working computer with printer, room clean, lots of parking. Only negative, room a bit musty from humidity but not sure you can do to much in the swamp to control that. Showers very nice, hot w excellent pressure.

We needed a handicapped room for 1 — 2 nights. I talked with a lovely lady to book the room. When we got there, we were both happy to walk into a neat, clean room with more amenities than expected. The mattresses and pillows were great. Our wakeup call came at the right time. Great handicap shower. We were very impressed. We'd stay there again.

Clean room with updated furnishing and very reasonable with close proximity to university. We come to Gainesville often for on going medical treatments and have tried over eight hotels and this one now ranks at the top of our list for value comfort and convenience. Well worth the time and money.

We stayed on the first floor and it was amazing! It wasn't the best thing we ever saw, but it was a great place to stay at in the heart of Gainesville. Everyone was polite, the pool was in great condition, the room was modern, and the breakfast was nice. The waffle maker was great because it made some pretty delicious waffles! The price was amazing for everything we had as well. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at; especially for the price.

We’re currently on the last day of our 4 night 3 day stay here. We booked & king suite with the jacuzzi tub. We were not disappointed! We’re not smokers so we brought a candle to deal with the smoking smell, which was not even that strong but again, we’re not smokers, so we’re not used to it. Continental breakfast had some good options. Hotel is in a wonderful local room close to everything! I felt safe leaving my new car just about anywhere in the lot as some nights we got back & there weren’t spots available directly by our door. The ONLY reason they didn’t get 5 stars is room service kind of had an attitude & they didn’t even freshen our room up after the 2nd night. The morning after the first night, we were in our room & told them not to worry but the second day they didn’t do anything & we were out all day. So not sure what that was about. Otherwise, friendly clerks & great location! We will certainly stay on our next visit.

The staff was really great and everything going well so far. Breakfast was wonderful and they had smoking rooms which was good. The staff strived to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Friendly folks, great updated modern renovated rooms. Easy access and parking. Close to university. Absolutely recommend it.

Rooms were clean. Staff were satisfactory. There was a hot breakfast, but fairly limited. I would have liked to see some more high protein, low fat options like yogurt. Weather was too cool to use the pool, so cannot comment. Best thing was that it was adequate lodging for reasonable price.

Clean room and I got ground floor room (broken foot). The smell of bleach was a little strong but other than that service was great. Free breakfast and parking.

Staff was very friendly, helpful. Rooms were clean. Quiet. Beds okay. Enough parking. Convenient location.

This is our go to place when we are in Gainesville. Reasonable rates and a great staff work there. Met the owners and they are great.

A good quality inn. Room was clean bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We stayed in a room with A kitchen That was in need of a deep cleaning.

The Hotel was what it needed to be and more. It was friendly, clean and comfortable. The only criticism would be needs bathroom some updates. It was worth the money and I will try to stay there again the next time that I stay in Gainesville.

I have stayed at this property on more than one occasion. It is a typical 2 story motel property with parking by the door of your room. Property is well maintained inside and out, but my favorite feature is the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was fantastic as well. All in all, a good value, even with the price up-charge for a Florida Gator home football game.

A great place to stay. The updates are great. Can't say enough good things about the staff. They are the best.

The beds and paint and TV seem to be recently updated. The room A/C must have had a plugged drain because even though the temp was cool, the humidity was very high. Everthing was wet. Towels never dried. The property is surrounded by run down mom & pop motels and businesses. The property needs an update. Never felt unsafe though.

The staff were exceptional. I am a spunky grandmother that grabbed up 5 young grandbabies ages 1 — 10. We escaped hurricane Irma. There were a few items I was in need of that the crew helped me out on. Their help was appreciated.

Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean for the most part… our AC filter looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever and I did bring this to the attention of the front desk upon check out. Breakfast was simple but good. Beds were very comfortable.

Got less than what I expected. This hotel is in a great location but it definitely needs a bit of attention. It seems to be a stop for lots of work vans. I thought I was staying at a truck motel. The place could use a good pressure wash as it has dirty catwalks. The room is blah, old linen and bed covers. It smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom is old and needs a fresher look. You get the picture?

Quality Inn is located just south of the hospital, in a very convenient location. The person at the front desk gave ma a great deal and was very kind. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was soft and I had a great nights sleep. I will definitely be back.

As I wrote on their survey… First the biggest issue. We had to move the dresser with the TV over about 3 ft so we could change channels. The box from the cable company (Cox Cable) was mounted to the wall and was blocked by the dresser. The maintenance person said that he has asked for IR repeaters, but Cox will not give them many. Second, the front desk clerk was busy and also was the one maintaining breakfast. So unfair to her. Third, but a personal choice is that the A/C fan would not stay on, no option. So all night on off on off. We do have reservations for that hotel, but we need to cancel them. Also, I am giving "free nights", but your system is rigged to directing us to choose the lesser of your hotels. I am not quit ready for that battle, but it is coming. BTW, this is going on Trip Advisor.

The room was clean, staff was friendly enough & the pool was clean although it closed at 10pm & we didn't get back to the hotel until after 12 midnight after visiting the hospital. When we checked in I told the clerk my dad was in the hospital & the clerk was kind enough to give us a hospital rate for the room. The problem came the next morning when I wanted to rent the room again & was told the hotel was "overbooked & we would have to come back to talk to the manager two hours later ". My father had surgery scheduled on this day so I didn't have time to go to & from the hotel begging to keep the room. I was so disappointed that we didn't have first priority because we were already there & needed one less thing to worry about but the clerk who was there in the morning didn't seem to care.

I live 2 hours from Gainesville and have to travel there two to three times per week for work. I stayed in over a dozen locations throughout the City and surrounding areas and this is the one that I choose to go to every time. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, there's a hot breakfast and a nice pool to enjoy. The rates are very fair and affordable. I have never had an issue at this location & I have always been able to get rest, because there are not a bunch of a loud and disrespectful guests. This is a good place to stay alone, or with family. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Gainesville.

My Husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we were in town for me to have surgery. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. We did have the breakfast the second morning we were there; there were choices of sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, milk, bagels and muffins. I would stay again if I were in town.

Great place. Rooms very clean. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Close to hospital. Good breakfast. Has a fridge and microwave. Stayed last week for son's tx eval. I recommend and would stay again. Ty.

I left my clothes at the hotel, the receptionist said that he would mail them to my house. Even though it might've took a while for them to deliver my clothes, I just got it today and they didn't even make me pay for shipping.

I had a small but traumatic experience with an apartment fire. The complex had to shut off my power for 3 days so I had to relocate myself and both of my cats to a hotel. The cats were thoroughly freaked out by the firemen and such so putting them in an unfamiliar place was even more traumatic. The Quality Inn University staff was very sympathetic and offered to help me with anything including flipping the bed up to retrieve the cats when the time came to leave. Yes they found the way under the bed. Their breakfast was simple but delicious and no one disturbed the cats for the 3 days we were there and I had to go to work. Thank you Quality Inn University.

It's good in a cheap way. Full of cheap things, but are ceped well maintained. Plus they have belgin waffles.

Upon arrival we waited about 10 minutes for anyone to show up, but that is understandable as QI locations are always minimally staffed. The room was well prepared, sheets and pillows seem clean as always and love having a mini fridge and microwave in every room. Main negativr is that like all budget motels/hotels, the carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 70's. Recommend keeping flip flops on while in the room. Pool is fine with decent deck furniture, and there are plenty of anoles around to try to catch.

Nice and simple, although because we came late the lobby was closed and we had to ring a bell to get in.

Great place to stay. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean!

Service was good. Room was a little dirty, mildew in shower, dirty shower head, sink did not drain, and shampoo bottles weren't replaced from previous people and were half empty. Overall it wasn't bad for the money.

Cons: Room appeared unclean upon check-in. Bedsheets torn with old stains, musty smell to room. Pros: Front desk staff member who checked us in was very personable and friendly. Very good rates.

The Manager "Jodie" was a lifesaver! My husband and I stayed here New Years Eve when our motorcycle blew a gasoline! The nearest parts store that was open New Years Day was 3 miles away! Jodie gave us a ride and waited for us to get what we needed! The roomss are very clean and comfortable! Plus the hot breakfast was inviting! Thank you for your kindness! We will stay here again with high recommendations for others.

The beds. You can't find a hotel in this range with better beds than this Quality Inn. The manager is very helpful in getting a repeat client the best rate.

Typical 2 star hotel. Room was humid though.

Decent nights stay for a decent price. We had a few lizards get in the room which upset my wife.

The room we got had a musty odor from the old carpet. The bedspread, linens had stains on them, I even think we got bedbugs. They do not change the linens, towels. The day after. When we arrived we had to check in through a window, there is no sense of security or comfort. The light fixture in the bathroom was old and out of place, you could see the old spiderwebs in the roof. I have stayed at other same brand locations and their quality is far superior. This was not worth saving a couple of bucks.

Clean but the Internet was not very good.

Rented 5 rooms, everyone is now sick form staying in the rooms. There were bugs and spiders in a lot of the rooms. It was visibly clean though so you wouldn't suspect anything.

The entire facility was old and dirty. There were stains on the bedspread and upholstered chair, and I'm not sure if our sheets had even been washed. The bathroom light was burned out. The towels were threadbare. I would have changed hotels if given the option, but it was graduation weekend. I can't wait to stay at the Holiday Inn Express next time. It will seem like he Taj Mahal.

Great experience for 70 bucks a night not bad. Room is spacious bathroom is spacious and everything was clean, the breakfast was good and location is right on point.

We stayed here unexpectedly when our daughter was hospitalized. Needless to say we were very stressed and all the hotel staff was very kind and helpful with our last arrangements. And on the last day my car broke down, the owner and staff helped me push my car as well as call for service. They went above and beyond.

Desk clerks were extremely kind upon arrival, gave us a discount on a great room. Smelled, looked, and felt very clean. Comfortable king size bed, nice bathroom, good continental breakfast. Will definately be back.

I stayed there last year (live in town but had a credit that had to be used) and was very pleased — — clean, separate kitchen, Internet access, continental breakfast, great rate, and friendly, helpful staff. I put friends up there last week, not sure whether it had changed in the past year. Fortunately, it hadn't, the room and staff were just as nice, and it's a about as close to campus as you can get (except the Holiday Inn that cost double).
