Review of Quality Inn University 2*

On our way to Walt Disney World on Friday 1 October we were traveling through Lake City, Fl. Unfortunately we had a car wreck. My wife, daughter and granddaughter had to be taken to the hospital. I stayed at the accident with my 3 dogs waiting for our vehicle to be towed away. Once our vehicle was towed the Florida State trooper took me and my 3 dogs to rent a car in Lake City. I then went to the hospital at Lake City were my wife and granddaughter had been discharged. Our daughter who is pregnant had to be transported to Gainesville Florida to the University of Florida. We drove to Gainesville and the Quality Inn was right near the hospital. I pulled in with my wife, daughter and 3 dogs. I walked into the check in counter asked if they had any rooms and what their dog policy was. He told me they allowed 1 dog. I explained to him that I was traveling to Walt Disney World from Columbia, Tn. I had had a car accident, my daughter was at the hospital my wife and granddaughter and that I had 3 dogs in a rental car. Without any hesitation the gentleman working the counter said yes he would rent us a room. I was overwhelmed with emotion and so very happy we had a place to stay in a nice clean room to be able to relax and unwind from our accident and the day we all had had. Our daughter was released Saturday morning so we thought at first we’d be there until Sunday. On Saturday afternoon I took my wife to the hospital due to the fact she wasn’t feeling well. My wife convinced me to be checked out. My wife was released and they admitted me to the hospital. I was released on Monday 4 October. My Dad drove down from Georgia to take us back to Tennessee. The Quality Inn took care of my dad with the same rate we were paying which was a military and hospital rate. We left the next morning Tuesday 5 October. Without the kindness and compassion of the staff at the Quality Inn University I’m not sure what I would have done except probably broken down and lost it, but instead they provided us a room and a place to stay so as a family we could relax and recover from our accident with our 3 dogs. We are for ever grateful to the staff at the Quality Inn University in Gainesville, Fl and when traveling and needing a place to stay we will be looking for a Quality Inn. Thank you Quality Inn University.
