It’s a really nice relaxing place to take your family. Nice pools lots of water all around. Very quite all kinds of things to do. Even shot a little basketball with the boys. Nice work out center. Really enjoyable an close to anything you want to do.

This resort is horrible. My second night I pulled the sheets back and found the comforter had blood on it in more than one spot. My son was sleeping with that near his face unknowing it was there until the bed was pulled apart a little. Absolutely disgusting. When we got to the room we needed to use the couch bed and they didn't have sheets in the room. I called down for sheets and they didn't have any because housekeeping was gone. My family member had to go sleep somewhere else. The floors are so dirty that our feet turned black every time we walked around the room without shoes. I recommend staying somewhere else!

This place is a joke, the breakfast is a joke they serve the cheapest food, and the quality is awful, the rooms are small and the bed hard. Plus they ask to go to this orientation that is 90 minutes and BS is more like 4 hours talking sh! t. Plus they ask you to pay so many fees that when you put numbers together you pay more before and after your stay for a place that is not worth it. Staying at a super 8 or motel 6 is way better and cheaper than this place, at the those motels give you a nice continental breakfast.

Had a great time. Beautiful resort tho our room wasn’t nearly as spacious as we’d hoped. Will definitely go back! Overall 9/10

Poor room cleaning. They did not replace the towels, the bathroom garbage bag was not changed, they did not restock toilet paper and soaps. The sofa bed did not open completely and the customer service extension was never answered. The worst experience of my life.

My dad is an owner here me and my sister brought him down. In the last year he has had two strokes and all he wanted to do was come to Florida and see Mickey Mouse he's 77 years. He had a great time at the pools. Beautiful place and plenty of family things to do.

The reason why we bought our timeshare in Summer Bay was because the way the staff and the service was. The place in Florida is just beautiful. That 601 building is just amazing. This will make you want to buy and upgrade, definitely.

I have stayed at 3 other resorts in Orlando over the years. Summer Bay is my go to for home away from home. Their staff is extremely helpful, the property is beautiful and it's close to shopping and the theme parks. We love Summer Bay.

The resort is always clean and groomed. The staff is vary friendly and professional.

Will go back again — fast and friendly check in, great customer service and care, rooms super clean and spacious, beds were all comfortable even pillows. Resort has so many amenities. Pools are clean and great for the family. They have barbecue areas very clean and maintained. Perfect resort just to stay at the resort as well. So so so loved my stay.

I've stayed with them twice and I've enjoyed my stay both times. The location is very beautiful, there is enough things on the resort to keep you and the little ones busy. I love the hospitality and service from the workers the whole stay and not just at check in. I will definitely be staying there when I travel to Florida yearly. My family loves it.

Very nice place to stay. Great for families. Playgrounds, zip-lining, paddle board, pools, and a very nice splash-pad for the kids. The condos are very nice. This resort is well maintained, with constant maintenance crews walking around. I would highly recommend this resort!

This is a great property with friendly staff and great amenities. Our stay here exceeded our expectations. It’s near all the theme parks but still tucked out of the way. We had a one bedroom condo and we will be back too stay again.

The amenities we're. Great. Nice staff but we couldn't find the fishing pier or the jet skis the furniture in the rooms was just absolutely great and the armbands was a uniquely wonderful idea as your room key check-in was very easy to get in and out close to a lot of things close to Disney world magic kingdom excetera excetera.

Everything was great but I prefer the condo over the hotel other than that it was all good. Loved the heated pool with salt water.

The condos are very nice. There are lots of things do here. They have activities nightly, like karaoke, bingo and activities for kids. Basketball and tennis courts. The staff was always courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall this resort is a 4.5/5 stars. The staff is pretty much friendly, but you definitely have those few bad eggs. The drinks are okay at the bar, but not worth the $ as you can tell they buy cheap liquor. That said, those are minor things, and I'd definitely come back!

We had the greatest time here. My son turned 5 and he didn't want to leave. They had so many activities for the family. It was beautiful and very clean. Sadly we didn't get to enjoy it fully because we only stayed 4 days and we had plans for discovery cove and Disney. Next time we will make sure to schedule to days for the resort.

It's great. Truly great experience. Lots to do even if you don't go to the parks. Many pools to choose from. There's also many amenities available for a small fee like paddle boats, Buccaneer Bay adventure water park and more. Centrally located to all the parks. I highly recommend it.

We were invited here on a discounted trip in exchange for taking a tour of their time-share property. We stayed in a one bedroom unit which was in OK condition and needing some updates. Upon arrival the unit smelled of old food from the people next door and made me peer sick until I ran out to get some air freshener and it still didn't get rid of the smell. I would say some staff is nice and knowledgeable and some don't have a clue. We didn't buy property here though some of the units were very nice. I didn't think it was worth what they were asking.

Love this place. The resort is beautiful and clean. Having access to all pools was great and was the place we spend a lot of time. Has a small theater to catch a movie on your free time. Has a couple of reataurstant and bars and the food there was all great. Was very pleased with how well they kept it clean. The staff was always helpful and kind. The security there is always on it and is always looking around to make sure every ones good. I definitely would come back and stay. Free breakfast was great. Has small shuttles to take you around the resort to other pools. Couldn’t ask for more every thing was simply perfect.

Beautiful resort. Rooms are great, outside is lovely. Pools are beautiful. Don’t go for the beach. Beach is measly, have to pay to play on the water features at the beach. The bar has lovely drinks. Rooms have lots of space.

I was a little nervous because of some reviews I read. I was pleasantly surprised! Our 2 bedroom was immaculate and so nice! The staff was also very friendly. We loved the pool, unfortunately we didn't get to do any other activities because of our outings. The only downside was that when we checked in we were scheduled for a breakfast and never told it was a sales presentation. We informed the nice salesman that we didn't want to buy anything. He was under the impression the rep had told us it was, but after all they still did give us the discounted park passes.

It’s decent. Something is has been broken in the room on each of 3 visits. Timeshare presentation is significantly more trouble than it’s worth. Your time is more valuable than the hustle. IF they would allow you to schedule the presentation prior to arrival, if they didn’t need the same information over and over again, if they were actually trying to be hospitable in their sales approach… then maybe it would be… but at this point it’s totally not worth it.

I've stayed at many timeshare resorts and this one has much more to do than most, but it all costs extra except the pools, which are nice but rather small for the size of the property. There are no drawers or trash can in the kitchen, which is very small in the one bedroom lockout unit I had. The fridge had to be turned on and chilled to use, which was annoying. They have courtesy shuttles to the major theme parks, which are in easy driving distance. Not to pushy for selling me timeshares. They charged a rather high housekeeping fee for staying less than a week. Likely won't be returning.

We are staying here now on our honeymoon. Well we ain't coming back. We are RCI exchange and a lot of things have been terrible. I cannot wait to go back to Orange Lake (2mi away) since they give you a great experience. To start. This is a smoke free resort except in areas around the pool. Yeah that doesn't make any sense. Cancer spreading folks are allowed to spread their cancerous smoke around everyone at a pool. Then as I am writing this these fools below us are smoking on their balcony marijuana, cigars and other things which is against the rules. Can't use the balcony. We we're told by RCI we would be "owners" and get 10% off everything bought on property (listed on RCI Page) and that was a lie. Only get 10% of recreational stuff which is barely anything. Got a tiny minigolf course, tiny rec room and barely anything for watersports. The bar tenders have terrible attitudes and expect you to tip them big with those crap attitudes. The rooms actually were fine. Probably the only thing good about the place. But Wi-Fi sucks with barely 5mb/s internet. Also "cold" water comes out hot and "hot" water comes out scalding hot. Trust me as owners in Orange Lake. Go there instead of this place. This place sucks.

A great hotel to visit parks, with its large private grounds.

My sister is an owner and we stayed 2 nights with her family in one of the houses. It was absolutely beautiful. The house slept 8 people very comfortably. It had a screened pool area with a hot tub and private grill. The amenities were nice also with karaoke on Friday and Saturday night, as well as lots of activities for the kids.

Nice accommodations, clean resort, plenty of activities for the whole family. The man made beach was a neat addition. Location is very convenient for Disney and Universal. The biggest issue is the fact that most amenities come at a cost… Some reasonable some on the pricey side. The aforementioned beach was $12 per person (kid or adult) for a day. We wanted to try the water park but it was closed for maintenance the entire week we were visiting. Not sure if it's worth the $25 or $27 per person per day either. If you take a timeshare tour be sure to scope out your theme park ticket pricing or other reward to make sure you're actually getting a good deal. We found Busch Gardens tickets on sale (on their website) cheaper than the price the resort wanted us to pay for the "gift" tickets (not just a few dollars either like over $100 even with us paying for parking at the park of ~$20).

Resort itself would be nice if it were well maintained, we had a 2 bedroom condo that was infested with roaches. When reaching out to the resort for issue on this matter the only resolution was to constantly keep moving us from room to room! Even with changing rooms the second room we were offered had rust in the tubs, where I would never place my 3 toddler children. The room after that we were offered, at 3 am (moving 3 toddlers) had a huge water-bug crawling on the headboard. Long story short there was no compensation, and the front desk staff and supervisors were all unprofessional. As soon as I walked into the front desk door, before I could even get a word out a representative (whom I have never seen nor spoken to previously) uttered “theres nothing we can do for you. ” How do you blackball a guest for simply voicing concerns on the disgusting condition of a room that is in the 500’s (the highest level under 601 the reserve). This was a sleepless “vacation, ” not to mention taking my son to urgent care for allergic reaction to the roach infested room. I was hesitant on posting this review, I usually don’t, but in hopes of saving a few other prospective guests ill just advise you BEWARE!

Love my visits to Summer Bay, we go there every year and they are constantly updating and improving. The staff and bartenders are so so friendly, the pools are wonderful. We love playing volleyball by the pool and enjoying the hottub at night. There are a lot of fun extra activities as well. I wish the extra fun activities didn't cost more, I've yet to try the little water park within the resort. We love it here and return year after year for a family vacation.

Saw quite a few negative reviews and wanted to make sure that I gave some positive feedback to this place. The condo was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and they provided a shuttle bus to and from disney which was super convenient! The resort is pretty big so they also provided shuttles throughout the resort. Our last day there we intended on lounging around the pool but after about an hr and a half (if that), the rain and thunder came so they closed the pools. We have a 4 year old so we were a little worried on what to do. Luckily, they have a small arcade that kept him entertained for awhile, a movie theater and a few restaurants. We also had a maintenance issue that I brought up to them on Tuesday and it was fixed right away. My family really enjoyed this resort.

I loved this place. I want to go back asap. My kids ages range from 6 to 16 and there was something for all of them to do. I didn't have to leave the resort. Everything is close by. The condo I stayed in was clean and very well put together.

1st class accommodations. We stayed in one of the house units with it's own pool. Private and quiet. Excellent service, nice resort. I would like to come back again!

This is a great place to stay if you're going to Disney World. The rooms are a great size and very comfortable. The resort has lots of activities you can participate in at the location. My experience here has been great and made my vacation even better.

This is a great place to vacation at. Our family loves coming here. The kids love the different activities to participate in and they can't get enough of the pools and hot tubs. I would recommend Summer Bay to anybody looking to get away from the grind of everyday life.

We have stayed at Summer Bay before, and it's one of our favorite resorts in the Orlando area. Although the first room we had upon arrival was not to our expectations (outdated/musty smelling), the staff was happy upgrade us to a new room that is much nicer. Make sure you request the 400 or 500 series rooms and you should be good. The resort offers several nice pools and great activities for the kids. The shuttle service is ok to some of the parks, but we usually opt to just drive and we can go on our own schedule. Overall, we would recommend Summer Bay!

Very clean room with a nice home like feeling. Plenty of amenities. My wife compared it to a cruise on land without all the free food. But it's Orlando, so finding places to eat isn't difficult. Kids love the mini water park and attractions. TVs in every room for night time. Well equipped for a week stay after a visit to Walmart. Overall very happy.

Large, nicely arranged hotel complex with hotel rooms, apartments, apartments and holiday homes. The front area is very nice quiet, further back in the resort is more hustle and bustle…

All in all a good place to go to Orlando and more if you go with kids xq there are many games for them. We went in family 5 people and the department that touched us all very well in general, clean, maintenance good size. But sibya you go to day day gets a bit complicated by are two rooms and there is only one safe, in the second room there is only one mirror for 3 people and that is for 5 that room. The bathroom only has a sink and the place to put things is very small. With this I do not mean that it is a bad hotel but that are details that make you waste time because there is only one mirror.

We like to vacation in Florida, especially Kissimmee for being in an excellent and economic hubicacion, we have visited many resorts and hotels in this area and summer Bay R. It leaves a lot to be desired as soon as the apartment we were assigned. It was two rooms very small, the master bedroom was super small we fought with the close the door. Super small bathrooms. It's time to remodel everything is old. The pool area is nice, the lake and its water games we did not test them after a resort worker told us there were lizards, this is not surprising it is Florida. For the price we have gotten better places.

Large, relaxing place to stay and play while you are in town for the local parks. I've stayed in many different units at Summer Bay, all have been clean and staff is quick to respond for any needs you may have. On site there is a kids water park/playground. There are a couple pools and parks on site as well. Very close by (no need to cross a busy road) is a shopping plaza with Publix grocery, Papa John's, Chinese food restaurant, and some various other places.

1st time and I must say the whole family enjoyed themselves. The resort has everything for the family. They have an arcade, movie theater, pools (lots of them), restaurants, beach, etc. The rooms are ideal for the family. The kitchen has the basic necessities. If you have AT&T you will have no or limited service and the shuttle to Disney ran a little late.

Nice place, had to time it just right to get a hot shower. Lots of things for kids to do. Could use a little more sound proofing between floors. Maintenance for the landscaping is very nice. Staff is very friendly.

There were mosquitoes in the room and the sofa bed did not come out. When we call for help, no one answers. You hear everything on the outside, upstairs, and the room next door. If the neighbors speak a word, you hear it. But the beds were very comfortable.

Really nice 2 bdrm condo overlooking the pool. Close to Disney, free shuttle to all Disney Parks, saves $20 for parking. This resort has a swim lake, jet ski rental, paddle boats, fishing and more. There are several restaurants bars on site. Public is on property as well. Great customer service all staff very helpful. Definitely will book again.

Comfortable apartments for 4 to 6 occupants. Full kitchen, air conditioned, 2 full bathrooms, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Pool area and playing area for kids. Easy access to most parks. In one word: awesome!

I had a great time! I really enjoyed the multiple places to eat. 6 pools! Wow. The only problem was… I didn't get good cell service or internet inside. If you are looking to be outside more and soak up the sun. This is the place for you! WARNING! the people in the preview center will try to sell you a timeshare deal, so be ready. Enjoy!

The landscape of the resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Crown Inn part of the resort. The room was clean, but they didn't give any microwave or refrigerator. If you like to be pressured into buying something then this hotel is for you. They tell you to sit for a 90 min presentation and then they give you 150 dollar gift card. We had to put a deposit down to save our seat. After 90 mins, it wasn't for us, we wanted to leave but they wouldn't give us our deposit or "gift". The free breakfast is free but stay away from the juice and eggs. I also felt that the hotel staff weren't as friendly as they should be and couldn't help us get our money back.

Excellent place to rest after a visit to the parks in pool or other amusements. A beautiful landscape and multiple options of cafeteria and restaurants, with ample quality of assortments.

Very good location to go to the parks. 25 min to Disney and 50 to Universal. Very good facilities, swimming pool, gym. The apartments are spacious, comfortable and new.

The quality of our 2 bedroom suite was superb. Both showers were impressive, one of which I will be copying when I remodel my own bathroom. Beds are comfortable and the blanket was amazing. Kitchen was real granite and all that was missing was an extra frying pan. View was posted on Google maps; amazing from the first floor. Amenities aren't amazing, but the overall resort is quite nice. 10 minutes or so from Disney too. Would love to take a return visit.

I just went to visit friends who were visiting but I liked the place. The rooms seemed very comfortable and modern inside.

READ THIS! I love this place. My family and I stayed for Christmas holiday and the apartment we got (108A) was amazing; a big living room, comfortable sofas, beds and most important NEAT and almost everything looked NEW. It was very presentable and fancy. I definitely recommend this place for any family, couples or group of friends. There are stores within 10-20 minute walk.

Very Nice! Service was great, rooms very nice and cozy (absolutely loved the suite, almost the size of a small apartment! Time share properties available, absolutely beautiful selections to choose from), and there were many activities on the property (and restaurants) you never have to leave the property! Beautiful!

Excellent resort. Very spacious and comfortable room. Or family had a 2 bedroom unit with the 1 bedroom unit nextdoor, which was perfect. The rooms shared a common entryway that has a locked door, so it really feels like we had our own 3 bedroom unit with 2 living spaces/kitchens. The multiple pools and playgrounds ended up being just as exciting as the theme parks for the children, if not more so. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, very quiet, the staff is otherwise friendly, also has a transfer service to the supermarket, take you, do the shopping and the supermarket calls again to find you in the parking lot. The surroundings are very well maintained and the facilities are in prefect maintenance.

It is a very beautiful Diamont resort well kept with Tosos the entertainment you need very close to Disney and universal Studio is worth the trouble.

We stayed for a week this November and loved the resort. Well maintained and clean. Plenty of activities and pools for the kids. We enjoyed the Adventure Pirate's Cove, small water park, and mini golf. They had activities for old kids as well but our kids are 4 to 8 years old. I was told this resort was just just purchased by Tree Top Resorts so I hope they continue to keep it running right.

Summer Bay Resort is located minutes from the theme parks, close to many restaurants and stores for shopping. I like the secure and comfortable feeling we have when we stay there. The rooms are very spacious and up to date. There is no short of amenities. The pool side bar & restaurant satisfies the needs. The new coffee shop is a great addition too.

The room was spacious for a 1 bedroom with lots to love. We were close to the Recreation center and Big Laguna. The restaurant was pretty good for a poolside eatery and the Recreation center always has something going on. Overall I was really impressed at the quality of the resort. I look forward to potential future visits.

It is just amazing! The staff is friendly. The compound is nice and clean… Well kept… Stayed in a one bedroom condo and got every need met. Various activities make it unnecessary to leave the compound. Good food… Barely used my full kitchen… Beds are super comfy… Washer and dryer are in the condo… I loved the gym… Free transportation to and from Disney World came in super handy and I felt protected!

We are owners and have been coming here for years. We were very disappointed this year when we arrived and were informed the pools are no longer 24 hours. This was something my kiddos really loved and always look forward to. Also not pleased with the bugs in our unit. There is a gap in the door from the master to the balcony and allows insects to get in the unit. We will end our streak and try someplace new to vacation next year : (

My wife and I stayed here and were basically using it as a place to sleep at night. The employees were really friendly, the beds were OK, the bathrooms seemed a little dirty but not from a lack of cleaning, the carpet seemed dirty as well. The free breakfast was definitely low budget, the bagels they had seemed a little old, I ended up only eating the packets of instant oatmeal they had. Our biggest complaint is that it stunk and we couldn't open a window to air it out. The second biggest complaint was that we didn't have a kitchenette, which is my fault for not realizing it when I booked it. When we finally left our clothes smelled of the hotel even the few we hadn't worn. For the price we paid it was what we needed and worked out. Unfortunately we didn't really use any of the resort amenities except for one pool and hot tub. The area was nice and they had a karaoke party going on which made it a fun atmosphere. It wasn't super close to Universal Studios but overall was a great location if your going to there or to Disney World.

We had a great time here and everything went very smoothly. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the location was good and there really wasn't any hassle. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is the overall low-quality of pretty much all the materials they used in the construction of the place. Everything from door knobs to dishwashers seemed like it was purchased at the lowest possible cost. Perhaps those are the things that kept it affordable, but I have to say the leaky dishwasher, ineffective toaster, refrigerator of that froze the vegetables and can opener that didn't really open cans all the way all added up after a while to create a general frustration. Overall it was a great place and I would gladly stay there again.

We stayed in the Crown Club (The ghetto portion of Summer Bay) The carpet in our room was wet and didn't dry out the whole time we stayed there (6 days). The room smelled like mildew and had no ventilation. We coughed all night and woke up with sore throats. The breakfast is pretty sad and the maids kept skipping our room and didn't refill the toilet paper or empty out trashes. The pool was nice but way over packed. And they do offer shuttle service but only at the most inconvenient times. The parks close at 9 and the shuttle comes at 10:35 and takes half an hour to get back to the hotel.

Room is fabulous. Clean and comfortable. The staff at Check in was incredibly friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool and the many activities included! Will happily return with my family!

Great resort. There is so much to do at the resort, you could make that its own vacation. The rooms are amazing, it is wonderful to have bedrooms and a real kitchen. A few complaints … The beds are very uncomfortable, hard, and lumpy. It says that they have a Disney Planning Center, but really they are just trying to sell you a timeshare. To buy tickets from the resort you have to sit through a 1.5 to 2 hour presentation… no thank you. Keep that discount, I'll buy them on my phone! :)

Great for a family trip! Clean, nice rooms. A little drive from Universal parks, closer to Disney. Nice pools and on site amenities. Lots of restaurants, groceries, and basic shopping nearby.

The resort is beautiful, they have a wonderful water play area and 24 hrs pools. Lots of activities. We stayed in the crown club building though which isn't as nice. We still were allowed to use the amenities and free continental breakfast but I much preferred the actual summer Bay Resort we came to last time. I would definitely stay again at the summer Bay in a suite not a standard room.

The resort is beautiful! There are four pools both for kids and adults. Two of those pools are open 24 hours. Everyone we came in contact with was very nice. Shuttles to and from Disney and Universal. Would recommend.

My family (5 adults and 1 child) were there for two nights about two weekends ago. I had been researching hotels for awhile due to the amount of people. Most places wanted $400 and then some for parking fees and what not. I paid roughly $296 for a two bedroom suite with a balcony looking over the lake. It was beautiful! And the washer in dryer in the room were extremely helpful! I will definitely come back! There is lots to do on the property. I wish we could've stayed a bit longer. It is close to a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops which was nice. I can't think of a single complaint during my stay. It was truly a nice vacation stay!

You know how they say you get what you pay for — therefore, don't expect much. It's an old holiday inn express that is in need of a facelift, however, the onsite amenities that are really provided to the people who are here for the time shares are very very nice. The good thing is there's a 24 hour security guard and you have to be either a guest here or checking in in order to access the gate. There's a Publix within walking distance which is helpful. And it's within 15 to 20 minutes of the Walt Disney World parks. The breakfast is the same everyday but it's nice to have a hot cup of coffee and a bagel or a muffin. You could actually see the bed springs through the bedspread so sleeping isn't that comfortable. The a/c clicks on & off, disturbing your sleep. There are no microwaves or mini fridges in the regular rooms.

Just returned from Summer Bay Resort Orlando Florida for a weeks vacation. We book our stay via the AFVC and got a good rate for 1 week. At check in the staff are friendly & knowledgeable of the resort. The resort is family oriented and kid friendly. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Was comfortable for my family. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The king bed and pillows were comfortable. Sofa bed needs to be updated. Grounds are kept well manicured. There are several pools on the grounds which is very nice. You have the option of a quiet pool vs the main club house pool where there is a bit more action. It's fun!. I attended a Zumba class in the morning which was fun. I think the water park on the grounds should be priced much lower then what they currently are price. Too pricey! Activities need to be reviewed and revised. Over all our stay was pleasant and will definitely come back to this resort.

Really disliked this hotel. The beautiful photos you see are for the condo residents. Those just sleeping at the hotel are in a whole different building. The building is dingy and old. The bed is flimsy and the pillows are hard as a rock. The breakfast was super processed and felt old. We really felt like the odd man out seeing all of the residents enjoying the amenities. In order to do all of the water activities you have to have a pass. Which you receive after they try to sell a condo/ timeshare to you. Never again. We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights and avoided it as much as we could.

I have to say that Summer Bay resort is very unprofessional. I booked 7 nights and 8 days with them for my family vacation to Disney Land. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was told that instead of Caribe Cove resort, I will be placed at melia Hotel. Melia Hotel is good but I got only 2 Br suite though I paid for 3Br Condo. Inspite of trying to speak to their supervisor about refunds, he kept on saying that he will get back to me but never did. I feel cheated with this experience. It was my dream vacation for my kids which got affected due to inconvenience of staying in a 2Bdr suite. I would like to thank Melia Hotel staff for good service BUT Summer Bay resort is unprofessional. If 3 Br condo is not available, then I should get refund for the extra amount I paid for 3BR immediately without any questions. Why should I pay for 3BR Condo and stay in a 2Br condo? Think twice before booking your Orlando vacation with Summer Bay resort. Aggrieved customer, Ram.

I cancelled when I had major issues with the reservation process very early on. Seemed indicative of things to come and I was right. A family member stayed there while I booked Parc Soleil through Hilton. They showed up at our resort with their infant's knees black and bug bitten. She said they had a 2 hour check in process and when they finally got to the room, it was dirty with damaged furnishings. They said the pics online must have been taken years earlier, it's run down with no jet skis available. I've been working on getting my refundable deposit back for 3 months now. They're still holding $50. Do NOT book with this company. Every level of it appears inept.

Me and my now husband stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beautiful, quiet and clean. The staff was polite but they will try to get you to do the presentation thing. When we actually found out where we suppose to go check-in was quick. To avoid confusion and standing in a line you do not belong in ask the service personal before you waist time in the line next to Denny's (wrong place to check in). The staff outlined everything about their place before we signed anything, even the 150 deposit and why but the hold was gone by time we woke up the last night (I checked). It is a no cash property which actually made us feel safe (I hate carrying cash around). The game room was fun and the fitness center was clean and working (even better than most apartments). We did have the bottom floor which was nice. We did notice neighbors upstairs but the noise wasn't bad at all. We are diffidently going back again and this time we are bringing the family. Recommended for families and couples, if your a jerk do not go you will not like it. There was this one lady nagging because there where kids playing at the pool or right outside it or something. When you pull in you immediately see it is a place to have fun and breath.

Sub par to say the least! We bought a package for a four day three night thats sleeps eight. When we arrived, we were put in a room that sleeps six. We waited nearly an hour in line just to see someone to check in and the gentleman who checked us in told us we were in the wrong building, which we looked for a way to enter the building he said we were in — which was under construction. We eventually were told we were given the wrong building and were sent to another building. There was a mandatory hold placed on our credit card of 150 dollars — they never told us this in advance, I just happened to inquire what they had put on my credit card, so be careful of that! Events we cancelled and we went almost a full day without access to the pools or play areas due to "Weather". It was raining… not lightning, just raining. The cleaning crew were the most helpful and eager to assist us with any needs — be it trivial or not, and even help this little boy find his family. The rest of the staff… basically we were ignored at the Big Kahuna for nearly fifteen minutes while the bartender aided everyone else around us — even people that walked up after us — until the lady beside us flagged him down and told him we were there for a while waiting to order. We were the bottom unit so we were serenaded by foot stomping, arguing, door slamming and so on. Free breakfast is only for the people at their hotel and not their resort, workout equipment faulty or broken… the list goes on.

We LOVED our stay there! The staff was professional and nice the condo was clean. There were several pools open 24 hours a day and there are always scheduled activities. Each pool has its own bar and towel cabana. The lake has a nice pier that was repaired while we were there Its a very family oriented place to stay. The grounds are well maintained and well lighted at night. You are not far from the theme parks and you miss the touristy areas that stay overly crowded. Having a Publix close by is so easy and designer shopping is is just minutes away. I can't say enough good things about Summer Bay, we would definitely stay there again. Its a place you can bring your family and feel good about having them there. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo which was big enough for us. We had no trouble with unwanted visitors, ie bugs. The only complaint I have is the pond was so full of weeds I was concerned about snakes but I did now see any.
