They are using Covid as excuse to cut services. Only service room when you leave. Breakfast is an orange and sweet roll. Pool/hot tub close at 8pm. None of these have an impact on Covid, but it does put more money in the company's pocket. I'll find a Hilton or Marriott to stay with in the future.

Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

It feels good comfortable beds rooms are clean and the pool was great even though it was cold outside the water was warm I love it here. Front dest lady very nice. Yes I’m coming back to stay.

Room is huge! Plenty of room here with a big TV. The two beds are super comfortable and the pillows are very nice as well. The staff are super friendly. Everything looks so clean.

The staff was great. Everyone is extremely nice. The room needed maintenance before being rented. Loose shower head with aged pipe tape. Loose screws. Standing water under the wood floor and a shower rod that keeps the shower curtain out of the shower. Go for the staff, but nothing else.

The staff has been great can't ask for anything better.

Awful absolutely horrible rude front desk and general manager. Never again will I waste money or time with CHOICE HOTELS AND COMFORT INN HOTELS!

This is a beautiful hotel, comfortable overall and nice breakfast… what makes this place impossible for us, we really rely on the refrigerator. Day one, it was not cold at all so I requested a new one. The next day when I returned with leftovers I asked and was assured they had given me a new one, but when I got to the room, it was the SAME one! I called and asked and they said it had been "fixed. " I told them that our drinks were still warm and our leftovers were now bad. They promised maintenance would come to our room. I'm sitting here now, 3 hours later, still no maintenance. I filled the ice bucket, trying to cool enough drinks but I'm really let down. I'm a Gold Member and can't get help… I can only imagine how non-members are treated. Won't stay here again.

This is a really nice hotel, right on highway 98. I took a class in their convention center. The class room was nicely appointed, with troublefree access to the web. The bathrooms were situated close to the class room and very clean and well stocked.

I did not stay there for the night. My company hosted a training class in the conference room. The staff was friendly and respectful. There is a lot of renovating going on tight now so all the base boards in the hall and bathrooms are missing. I guess there was some water damage. All in all it's a hotel. Just that.

Staff was was very attentive and the complimentary breakfast was ok. The gentleman who ran the kitchen and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. We did have a problem with the first room they gave us but when I went downstairs and told the receptionist of how unsatisfied we were with the room she promptly gave us another one without question. All the room's amenities were basic but satisfying. The beds were uncomfortable to me and my wife but my 19 year old son found his to be acceptable. Overall were satisfied with our stay and when we return to Florida, we will most likely be staying here!

If I could give this place 0 starts I would! We stayed here for 5 nights & they checked us into a dirty room. Sheets weren't changed, bathroom was dirty. They gave us another room and that was unacceptable as well. The walls were filthy and the bathroom too. We went to the front desk and we were already looking for another hotel, but they're so expensive! They gave us a 3rd room on the 2nd floor, and the 2nd floor smells like a wet rag that's been left there to mold. The room was okay, at that point we just wanted to put our stuff down after driving 9 hours. Pool was dirty! It's cheap, but it's not worth it! Good thing that we only went there to sleep. Warning! Don't stay here!

Rooms and building all smelled bad. Hallways and elevators were extremely hot. The pool and spa were closed for the 5 days we were there. Part of the reason we chose this hotel. They were green n dirty with no one seemed to be correcting. Staff was not friendly and seemed put off when we asked for coffee and shampoo. They failed to replace when cleaning the room. They did not clean the toilet 3 of the days we were there. We would have left and went somewhere else but there were no rooms to be found where we wanted to stay. Atayy away. You can find a better hotel. I had a bad feeling just by the trash and unkempt landscaping when we pulled up.

This place has gone downhill. I have stayed several times. Was staying at Laquenta, but price went up, so started trying this ft Walton comfort inn. This is last time! Rooms need updates, big water stain on ceiling, no shower water pressure, fan in bathroom was locking up with crud in it, carpets old, shower in tub arrangement and tub would barely drain, so you're standing in water. Towels old and scratching, NO PHONE IN ROOM! to call desk you must look up on cell phone. If you had a question at front desk, you get the "sorry this is my first day so I don't know! " Tried for two days to get a wash cloth! Just getting to be a nasty place, its more money but stay at the new holiday inn next door.

It had a great breakfast. The eggs were slightly burnt. Room was clean. And good customer service for $130 a night.

Super disappointed in nearly every way. This hotel is not in a very good part of town. As we walked in, it had a pungent smell of old chlorine. We were “greeted” (and I use that term lightly) and checked in by a snarky front desk person who didn’t smile or look into our eyes and pretty much just tolerated us. We asked about the pool and she informed us that it was down for maintenance… no apology for the inconvenience. The hotel has a “dirty feel” and needs lots of maintenance (walls scuffed, elevator smelled, dirty floors, etc. ). We got up looking forward to a continental breakfast. We kept having to ask for basic breakfast items to be refilled (coffee, forks, food). They even forgot to leave the serving spoon for the disgusting egg white concoction that they served. There was a constant traffic jam at the waffle maker… poor flow! The coffee was thick and tasted like dirt. We kept looking at each other like “is this for real? ” I thought I might visit the convenience shop but alas, cupboard was bare (see picture). The only bright spot? The pillows. I would NOT recommend this place. Run!

Not worth the money. Walls are dirty and need paint, carpet is sticky, furniture has holes, pool and hot tub were out of service for 2 days, broken rusty rail by pool (at floor), chlorine hurts your eyes, pool and hot tub are dirty, exercise equipment monitors fall in your lap, elevator smells like a wet mop and super hot in them, was out of towels for room and pool, toilet run constantly and was loose, parking sucked, landscaping is just ignored, 2 couches by dumpsters, had to call maintenance to hook up tv, gum on headboard, checked out at 4 am and couldn't find attendent and phone was ringing, people in parking lot drinking. No sugar for coffee for 2 days in lobby. Waffle maker broke, breakfast is decent though.

This is a great hotel if you’re 18 and on spring break. My first impression was that the hotel staff was working very hard to make things work (the only reason they received two stars). My visit was on the last week of spring break, so it was the end of the busy season. One of the two computers was down and caused the check in wait to be about 15 minutes. Once at the desk everything was smooth until she tried to program our room keys. She went through 30 key cards before she found two that worked. Once in the room we found that the room smelled like dogs. The room was pretty large but there was nothing in it. For example there was a small desk, but no chair at the desk to sit. With all the room you would think that there would be a place to sit and work/eat. The bathroom only had one towel and there was hair clippings of undetermined origin on the top of the toilet. The bed was not comfortable, or should I say that it wasn’t comfortable for a man in his mid 30s. Now that I have told you about the bad I can tell you about the good. The A/C in our room was awesome. The shower had good water pressure and the water had no problem getting hot. The TV worked and the Wi-Fi was free. All in all the experience wasn’t horrible, but with all the money they make in this location they could have at least made sure the bathroom was clean and stocked. Open reading this review to my wife she said “don’t you think that you were being too harsh with two stars”.

This place was basic, nothing to brag about. The promised indoor pool was out of service, the fitness room smelled like mildew (so I couldn't use it), the walls in our rooms were dirty, and the place felt grimy overall. It gets two stars due to the friendliness of the employees, otherwise it'd only get one. Let me mention, they count towels and ask that you turn in your dirty ones to get clean ones; you turn in two, you get two. Who the heck would want to keep their cheap, lowgrade towels? On the plus, thankfully the weather was nice and this place is minutes from a number of beaches.

Hotel is not on the beach. It is however, on the main road running east and west through Ft Walton Beach along the bay. Short drive to the beach. Most anything you want or need is just a short drive away. Lots of shopping available. If going to the beach, go east on Miracle Strip Parkway (rt98) go across the bridge and stay on Miracle Strip Parkway to John Beasley Park. Restrooms, vending machines, and direct access to the white sand beach of Ft Walton Beach. It was a little chilly when I was there, 60 degrees but windy, so I didn’t stay very long. In warm weather, this place is ideal. I would definitely stay at this Comfort Inn again. Even though it’s along the main road, I didn’t hear any traffic. Try it, you will like it. Price is way better than hotels on the beach. For the mile and a half trip to the beach, it’s well worth it. Free wireless internet. Had no problems with it.

Nice place at any time of the year. My kids really enjoyed the inside pool and a hot tub. Excellent location, next door is a pizza place and a restaurant-bar, beach is like 5 min away. Hotel need more workers to help maintenance clean and attended the different areas.

Very Quiet, Restful and Homey feeling. They even had a shoulder wrap on the end of the bed. We had a handicap accessible room, it was very accommodating, spacious and nice. We did have to ask for face cloths but they were immediately provided. There was plenty of coffee supplies in the room but the coffee maker was missing the little pot. : (

IT could have been better, I've been there several times but the last stay wasn't the best…

Very poor service staff had not shown uo for work. Stayed for 5 days had breakfast once! As no one to make it no towels for pool or room and no shampoo or soap in rooms again due to stock not being replenished. MANAGER sorely needs another change of career as Hospitality is not it. HE left all complaints to his Assistant Manager who did her best under the conditions. As we were from Scotland on holiday we had no choice but to stay here plus felt so sorry for the Assistant Manager as other guests were checking out.

Very nice hotel! The staff was superb really enjoyed my time in Florida! Would recommend this hotel to my family and friends!
