We're staying here for 4 nights and let me just say I'm so glad we picked this Hotel! We drove from Missouri and arrived before check in, they got us checked in early! The room is clean and up to Marriott's standards. The staff has been so friendly and helpful. Another benefit is that it's right next to Henderson State Park which has one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen! We'll be back for certain!

The hotel is located in very busy area right on the main road through Destin. Lots of traffic, lots of shopping and many restaurants. The location was too busy for us but others might enjoy all the conveniences near. The hotel was average for a Marriott property. We had a room with a balcony but the view was traffic and stores. They do offer a nice complimentary breakfast. Everything was clean and the employees friendly.

Hotel is nice, but showing its age. Breakfast is substandard for a Marriott in terms of selection but the staff is very nice. The location is somewhat convenient and somewhat inconvenient. Henderson State Park is across the street (HIGHWAY) so it is very busy and hard to get in and out of. Pools are nice and clean. Beds are comfy and it is quiet. However, if you intend on going to the beach for your stay then I advise looking into beachfront properties for convenience.

My husband surprised me with a four day weekend trip to Destin for our birthdays. The stay here was absolutely wonderful! The room was very very clean and well taken care of. Super nice clean bathroom; I am extremely pick with bathrooms and it passed inspection for everything I look at. All of the staff was so kind. Henderson state park is directly across the street and the beach is gorgeous! So well taken care of. It is centered kind of in the middle of everything so it doesn’t take very long to get places, depending on traffic. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. I will be back again myself :)

The hotel itself was fine. It was clean and the food was ok (being the usual continental breakfast). I was very disappointed when I got to my room. I had paid the extra money to get a "Gulf View" Room with a balcony. I guess they didn't completely lie. From my little balcony I could see the construction on the road in front of us, the highway, a ton of trees and about an inch of the ocean way far away from us. I had in mind that we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the beach and see the ocean in plain view, near us. I was wrong. I guess it's ok since we spent most of our time out doing other things anyway, but I was still very disappointed.

Clean and convenient location. Requested early check in and was continuously told to check back but didn't get to check in until after check in time.

Customer service is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The continental breakfast is pretty good with fresh fruit. Be aware that there is road construction going on that makes it difficult for access at times. The pool area is nice and relaxing enough. Hotel is minutes away from the wonderful boardwalk and several dining options.

Excellent service, price and location.

Marriott should be ashamed to have this hotel affiliated with their brand. I reserved a room here weeks in advance for my sons ball tournament. The day I was scheduled to check in I received a call that my room was no longer available due to a maintenance issue (overflowing toilet). I was informed that my family of 5 would be staying at a hotel I've never heard of in a one bed "smoking" room. Ironically I discovered that three other Fairfield guests were sent there as well. I called the main Marriott number to see if they could do anything and was told that the hotel had been overbooked. The local management offered nothing but an empty apology and what I'm almost certain of was a lie to cover up their mistake.

I’ve stayed at this hotel each time I have visited Destin. It has the best rates for the location, but is not without its problems. However, the staff and management are very helpful and accommodating so if you do experience an issue (s), they will do everything they can to make it right. Had we not given management the chance to proactively take care of us, I would have given a much worse rating.

It's in a great location but it is a very very loud place. Doors slamming constantly and pleople talking loud. We were there for two nights and it really threw off my sleep schedule. The breakfast is not good at all!

Horrible service. 3/4 people are over 21 years of age… the other person is 20 and served our country for two years after high school in the military. But since he is under 20 we were not aloud to stay here after already booking. Also, instead of helping us cancel the hotel booking they gave us a number to call on our own and it was the wrong number. After hours of driving we found out right when we got here the policy when online the policy stated one person needed to be 21. As we sat outside to call the number two workers from the hotel came out to sympathize with us.

I loved my stay there and the night audit she was the best, wish I could remember her name but she talks like she from Jamaica. Keep up the good work and thank you for helping me.

Our stay was wonderful. The second night we had a little problem with some kids making noise in the hallways and there room, but the management solved the problem. Overall the rooms were very clean, front desk was very nice and the breakfast was great. Great weekend.

Rooms a bit dated but everything was clean and everyone polite. Enjoyed our stay.

Definitely not the best Fairfield property we have visited. It seemed a bit weathered in appearance compared to many of the newer hotels in the chain. Our room was a huge king suite but the large space had no decor to fill the space and the furnishings were quite worn. The desk staff was friendly and the breakfast staff kept the food area well stocked. The location is close to shopping, eating and activities. We would probably choose another Marriott location if we visit the area in the future.

Always enjoy Marriott properties and this one didn't disappoint. Location is great, just down the street from Wal-Mart and Target, Big Kahuna's and across the street from Henderson Beach park. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast so can't speak to that, but the staff was nice and friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean with individual air/heart controls in the room.

Average location. Comfortable. Quiet. Friendly staff. Not too far from shoppes and food.

My first real vacation in years, first time in Florida ready to go back again, planning on next year, love that the beach is right across the street from Hotel, every thing was great on our stay, Thanks.

I made my reservation through the call center and thought I was getting a bigger suite but when I got to my room it was not what I was expecting. I went to the front desk and was told that's what I reserved. I asked to speak to the MOD, his name was Joseph, he showed me the package deals they currently had on line and I was able to see where the mistake was made WELL in the process I noticed that this rate was cheaper than mine and he agreed to give it to me for that price. I stayed there for 4 nights and I'm so glad I did! The staff are all very friendly and the breakfast was delicious EVERY morning! It was my first visit to Destin but it won't be my last and I will choose this hotel again!

We've stayed here before and loved it. Great location about sums it up. The facility is a bit dated compared to others. Our room was a bit of a letdown; exposed wire harness under the AC unit, something red (possibly blood) on some of the towels, faulty shower fixture, and half used shower products. Check in and staff were nice, but the rooms need a bit of maintenance and attention.

Very good hotel for the price. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff was friendly and housekeeping was very thorough. It was a quick left turn from Henderson Beach as advertised. Would definitely stay here again.

Porq has a swimming pool inside it is very nice, the breakfast also.

Room was comfortable and hotel is up to date. They could tighten the screws just little on cleaning but room was overall clean. It was mostly quiet other than your typical hallway chatter you hear at hotels. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Indoor and out door pools with a small gym. The bathroom picture was after we used all the towels so that's why it looks empty.

The hotel is located about 100 feet from the entrance to the state park. There is an indoor and outdoor pool on site. The staff had been super friendly and always helpful. My room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast as well. I would love to stay here again and hope to return someday.

The staff was very accommodating and the were gracious. The room was very nice. We had a balcony and we able to look out over the bay. The breakfast was delicious and the area was not cramped. The only thing that was negative was that the bathtub was very slippery. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Stay! Starting from the front desk to the room. It was all perfect. They serve breakfast every morning and might I add it too was perfect. They do there very best to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and clean. I had a one bedroom suite for four nights. I enjoyed every minute. Daniel the night MOD was terrific. I plan on going back to Florida and will be stay here. Thanks for a job well done!

This is our first time staying at a hotel thats associated with the Marriott name. And I must say it exceeded our expectations beyond words. Not too crazy about the elephants that stomped half the day above our room. But the hotel staff were very sweet and helpful. Very clean lobby, room we stayed in was just beautiful and crazy clean. Love the space in the bathroom. We enjoyed it so much, that we had a problem with getting into the Destin beaches. We cruised over to Pensacola to sit on their beach for the day, which turned out to be a very fun trip in itself. But we will make this Destin Fairfield Inn our permanent hotel stay when we vacation here and our stay is to cruise to Pensacola to hang out, and cruise back to Destin. Money extremely well spent and worth every penny. Breakfast was great by the way. Thank you!

We loved the service of this hotel. The employees could not have been more friendly. The rooms were very modern and clean. It is only minutes from the beach (15 minutes on foot, 5 by car). We hospedarísmos there again, definitely.

We had our room reserved for 3 nights, then when we get here they only have us for 2. The lady that took my reservation never sent me the email confirmation. This during a major hurricane where we live, so we've spent most the of the day trying to find another room. They never tried to accommodate us during this, also told them our refrigerator doesn't work, never done anything for this problem either. Now we have to drive another 2hrs to Mobile, AL to get a room, so our 7yr old daughter doesn't have to sleep in the car.

It all went very well. I am going on a great vacation.

Stayed there with two toddlers over memorial day weekend. Great room, great breakfast and great pool. I was bummed that they would come out to clean our room at 4pm! It got in the way of our kids' naps. Super inconvenient. I asked them to please change the hour and they wouldn't.

This is a really great hotel I have stayed here a few times and never had any problems. When I leave my room I usually place the do not disturb sign on the door to keep house keeping out. Well the one time I didnt I left momey im my bag which was gone through and the money was gone. I now know and advise other not to leave money or any valuables its your room while your not in there.

Nice, clean hotel. Comfy bed although they were out of Kings so me and my fiance slept on a queen. But was comfy. Huge balcony and a microwave and a fridge in the room. They do offer a free breakfast. Which was just okay. But again, it was free so … The hotel is located close to the beach with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby including a super walmart. Would would stay there again.

We had to change rooms. The first room we had was tearing my allergies up for some reason. I don't think they cleaned it well enough. The floor looked halfass vacuumed. Our 2ed room was better! The breakfast was OK. No hot tub. I really don't think it was worth $140. The staff was friendly and professional. Location was very convenient.

This place is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the décor is beautiful, and the hot breakfast every morning can't be beat. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. They have definitely paid attention to every detail.

My wife and I are staying here while we redo the tiki hut at Ajs restaurant. We came here back in January and it was great. This time around tho different story. Someone went into our room when we had the do not disturb sign on the door. The staff insist that it was on the floor instead of on the door. We luckily was not in the room at the time. But if we were in the room sleeping naked or something then they would have walked in on us if we didnt hear the knock. We will be here for 5 days total and that happened on the first day. They offered us a very small discount and that is supposed to reensure our privacy and peace of mind. We would have gone somewhere else but unfortunately the whole island is booked for spring break. Hopefully our privacy will not be invaded again for the remainder of our stay.

Clean, professional and comfortable. That sums it up. It's right along a main stretch of road so be sure to ask for a room that doesn't face the street. There market is small but enough and breakfast is sufficient but nothing great. I did not check out any facilities like the pool or gym so I can't comment on it. Wi-Fi was spotty which I wasn't thrilled with but I hope it was just an exception and not the norm. Also, if you like to order movies the rooms don't support them.

This was not bad, the staff was really friendly and the rooms were decent. They did clean the carpets while we were here and made the hallways smelled like fart (serious but true). Gym had some free weights and cardiovascular equipment to get a decent workout in. I would probably stay here again.
