Rooms are nice and spacious, it was clean and tidy when we arrived. The Wi-Fi is horribly slow and bogged down however, it took 8 hours to download a 3GB file. And don't bother bringing video game systems, as they will not be able to connect to the Internet.

It's like any other good quality resort. Everyone is quite friendly! Every once in a while there's a rude staff member but what can you do except smile and move on. As a owner they have a lot of amenities included but even as a guest you're guaranteed to have a great time as long as you soak up all the info! I highly recommend it here.

This vacation was one dorm the record books, many memories were made and tons of fun was had. Now that we are owners we will be back a few times a year. This property is absolutely beautiful and you are treated like royalty. From free mini golf and the water park and great discounts for the nearby parks it's great for the whole family. We can't wait wait to come back to our beautiful villa at this amazing property.

Ok, so we got a friend's timeshare here. With a family of 4 we figured the one bedroom with a kitchen would be good. Upon arrival, check in at the front desk was a real gong show. After You check in then you are taken to another desk. That's the"sell you a time share" desk. Might as well just grab your keys and leave right after you get checked in. Cause when you get to the time share sales desk, they will PROMISE you the world. We went through the sales pitch, promised Half price to the water park here during your stay, cheaper tickets to attractions booked during your stay, free breakfast (that's a joke) and many other things. To be honest, I've had way better breakfasts at Super 8. Not kidding and they are a budget hotel. Attraction tickets can be purchased on the attractions websites at almost the exact same price. Anyhow, what you actually get is 1 day at the water park, here, at a discount. 24 hrs to buy all tickets for attractions. And the rooms are truly 1990ish? I'm writing this review from my room on the first floor with the patio door open right now. I can barley concentrate due to the 5 a. C. Condensers mounted within 3 feet of the patio. Yes, they are all running. It's like staying by the airport, on the runway. So old rooms, terrible customer service, lots of lies, pay by day, BY DEVICE, Wi-Fi, ($10 per device, per day). Overall just a huge let down.

Westgate Vacation Villas are amazing! The service is great and the amenities are wonderful. The pavilion has the best restaurants and places to eat and with the the benefits of being an owner, you get the best deals! 15% off the food is just great. All the sports equipment is free for owners with the exception of a few. The events offered for the kids are great and it is just a great overall experience. The units are fabulous and luxurious when you enter. I can honestly say I feel like I'm home! Overall, I recommend anybody to Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center. It's basically vacationing at its finest.

A lot of hidden fees, cost & unwritten rules. Management cared nothing about the customer's satisfaction. Only about money & time shares. Water Park closed during trip but could not get a refund after customer servce desk printed tickets at check in. Prepaid Disney tickets were held with a PHANTOM $300 charge because bank issued a new credit card. Room Service has not been in to clean up in 3 days, I guess that might be another hidden fee I did not pay yet.

A amazing place close to everything. Helpful staff. Only thing I could say not so good is they need more staff for the ice cream parlor.

This is a beautiful place to stay and is fairly close to Disney World but I feel that the lack of free Wi-Fi ruins a lot of the experience. It's hard to plan a day in the theme parks workout Internet.

Sion vendors entice you not you soften the truth and you ipotekan selling a room k time is the worst k you can buy, and if you can afford them you sent to collection and you ruin of lifetime and when firms you disen k you can not desaserlo the contract makes them to ask about your contract and you answer and then put you on hold and now no longer you ablar or hang you by k eyos no kieren k know k have 10 days legal mind to desaserlo of the contract that are waiting for k give up and if you save you the contract do not return you all the money k you removed and disen k it will send a Wikia and never have so I do not recommend it not be fooled like me.

This "place" can't even be called a resort… It is HORRIBLE! If you book a 2 bed studio be prepared to sleep in a vintage 1980s themed styled bedroom with mattresses that match the year of the rooms theme! The springs are poking out, you CANNOT sleep on them. So once we returned to the front to complain, one of the "room coordinators" sent us on a wild goose chase for another room. She gave us an "upgrade" room with "one bed". There were 4 of us, see where the next issue began. So we went back to the front, and asked to speak to the manager, and they sent us a supervisor who wasn't very helpful. So we asked so speak with her boss, and was told "Carlos" the manager on duty was eating. In the hospitality business, your job is to provide HOSPITALITY. This place does not do that! STAY AWAY. Ps you also have to pay $9.99 a day for Wi-Fi! Every hotel I've previously stayed in provides FREE Wi-Fi! Not here!

So the room was nice as well as the hotel itself. However, for a place seeking new owners, it's strange how dated many amenities are. The rooms had tube televisions and cassette players. This was actually pretty hysterical but also annoying since this was how I was going to watch the nfl playoff games. I will say the timeshare breakfast invitation was low pressure and I appreciate that. I wasn't interested and they respected that.

Trying to have a fantastic vacation and I am living a NIGHTMARE VACATION! I came here as a potential timeshare buyer, I'm staying here for 5 nights and 1 day since we've been having problems with the AC. I'm in 5265B and my neighborhood unit from 5265A have total control of the AC. He turns off the AC every night. First night I called the front desk thinking we were having a problem with the AC they sent a technician and I have find out the thermostat control was next door! How can this be possible? JESUS! This did not only happen 1 night. Its been 3 nights already with the same problem. Tonight wed. Janua 13th of 2016 I went to the front desk and talked to the manager and he was rude and did not give me any solution to my problem even after I told him that I suffer of high blood pressure and I need my ac on at all times. I don't think I will be buying any timeshare from here. I hate my vacations right now thanks to this resort. The staff is very rude and unprofessional they dont know how to treat their guests. I do not recommend this place for your vacations. Please go to star island resorts if you want a sensational vacation with good staff.
I thought a perfect holiday and they ended up being a few nightmares. As any person after a long year of work all you want is to go to walk and travel with your family and children and leave all the stress and worries of work and everyday life and escape from them.

Fun place to stay! Lots of activities, on site restaurants/grocery with tasty food. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. No complaints whatsoever!

Our family has come for years. Stones throw from Disney, though we never go. So many amenities on site the kids don't even care what's outside of the resort. Especially now with the waterpark completed. Great vacation spot for a relaxed family getaway. Not super high end, so if you're every single whim needs to be catered to, then this isn't the place for you. But if you're okay with cooking your own meals and family friendly entertainment then it's great.

I have vacationed here for many years, and will return again. The rooms are always kept very well, with lots of supplies in room. Extensive campus with beautiful scenery and planned activities. Not that there isn't activities only literal minutes away, and most Disney parks are less than 10 miles. Staff is courteous and friendly, housekeeping seems to be diligent and discreet. Popular family vacation spot, so during days and nights it can be slightly loud, and staff can be found on their phones when others (who are trying to ignore the YouTube video their coworker is showcasing) are working beside them! Despite that, I would more than recommend to my family and friends.

Melanie from the front desk and the man that showed us to our room did a great job. They showed us friendliness and professionalism. We also enjoyed that there were free activities like golf etc. It made me feel like I really got my money's worth. Everything was clean and beautiful.

A nice location, there's a lot to do within a close distance for a vacation including being just a stone throw from Disney practically. Rooms were neither amazing, nor sketchy, just a pleasant acceptable place that could be your place to crash after a long day at the parks, or a nice room with extra amenities to relax in for the day. Room had a nice kitchen with plenty of extras and plenty of area for the family to spread out.

There is not a thing I liked about this resort. Staff is extremely rude. I booked sever as l months ago. I am an owner at westgate on turkey lake rd. I was told it was accomadating. I have two children with disabilities. 3 other young children and an adult with knee surgery. Put us on third floor. Did not offer help. Gave us q queen bed 1 full bed with a twin bunk on top. 1 pull out sofa bed to accommodate 3 adults and 5 children. Like stuffing sardines in a box. Room is outdated and could not get a shower until 1 a. M because unit did Not have enough towels. Took over an hour for them to bring. 1 bathroom for 8 people with apartment kitchen. Not enough plates cups, silverware etc. How disgusting of them to even consider charging us 900 for this dump. Everything is outdated. Don't even bring ur dog here. They most likely put their owners in a new unit and lie to others to get them to stay in their crap holes. Hallways smelled like ethnic food. That's what you get for b ed ING a gold member Westgate owner for over 10 years. Disrespect, useless and not accomadating s. Taff.

Westgate is a fabulous family resort! We've been coming here over 20 years and have watched the growth and development exceed what they promised. Love the new water park! Westgate is only a mile from the entrance to Disney world. I highly recommend this for every family!

We love this place. We have been coming here for the past 14 years. It's in a great location. Disney is just minutes away. We can even see Disney's nightly firework show from our balcony. They have plenty of onsite activities to do as well. They now have a water park with slides and a lazy river. We always have a great time.

A resort very complete, good choice for relax. It is very close to the Disney parks. The rooms are very comfortable, and have everything you need.

I'm almost done with my stay here this week and my party has been extremely satisfied with our visit. We've had this timeshare for over a decade and do not regret it. We spent the day at Disney today, which is only about 10 minutes away (we took a free shuttle). Yesterday we walked down to the activity center and played mini golf, paddleboats and went biking. We plan on going down to their relatively new water park tomorrow and spending the day there. I was there last month — the lazy river is so fun to relax in, and there are plenty of chairs to sunbathe in. They also serve food and drinks, always a plus. The customer service has been great since we first called to book our stay. Everyone has been courteous and helpful. Our room is also very nice. We had a little problem with the coffee machine the first day, but they immediately sent someone up to help us. There's a supermarket and a few restaurants on site. Obviously there's a little bit of a markup for the convenience factor but still, they offer just about any basic necessities you may need, and then some. We've only ordered a pizza so I can't vouch for the other restaurants. But that pizza was delicious and they were very accommodating with my dietary needs. I live off of coffee and there's 2 locations that serve Starbucks here. All in all, I'm very happy we chose to vacation at Westgate!

Cleanliness: Dirty nasty bed covered on human body hair. Was changed after a phone call. Housekeeping was efficient. Front service: Rude poorly trained guy. Manager Patricia was nice. Overall the rooms are nice with everything you need from a micro apartment. I give them 2 starts because of that and take the other 3 based on service and dirty bed.

Overall the place is beautiful but Def the closest little market is extremely expensive over priced I actually paid 7.59 for one box of cereal never would have paid this any where else. But didn't want to get up early for the weak continental breakfast had better continental at a 3 day hotel another issue was the staff many of them don't know there jobs I had to go from desk to desk for every thing different that was to much moving.

After being back home for a few weeks from visiting the Westgate Town Center in Kissimmee, I've decided to write a couple of comments about the resort that are still bothering me. Hopefully they will help others with their travel plans… First, the brand new waterpark. The waterpark has only been opened a few months and it looks like it's been there for 10 years. Paint is peeling off the concrete, broken chairs, trash, bandaids, everywhere. And if you are not an owner, the waterpark is $20.00 A PERSON EVERYDAY TO ALL THE GUESTS! Try to find that information on their website! It would have costed us $80 a day to visit the park that was right outside our window. My husband and I were not even going to use the park, we just needed to be there to supervise our boys. No exceptions, same price! Thankfully an attendant at the park close to closing time one night gave us a deal on owner wristbands. She charged us a small price to get in all week. I would definitely talk to the attendants to see what they could do for you. Hint Hint. Another grip is the lazy river was so full of kids walking and swimming in the water that it was impossible to float on a tube. Lifeguards didn't seem to care; too busy talking to the cute boys and girls. This act also gave several people the ability to walk right into the park with no wristbands on at all. I counted seven people entering the park with no bands while the guy at the gate talked to two young girls.

My family purchased a timeshare two years ago and when we first arrived here. Two years ago the first thing I asked my my husband was why would they put us in an outdated room if they are hoping to make us owners. When I asked the sales person on our tour the following day the same question I asked my husband, he indicated that when we booked the room the account number that we used when we booked was from a unit owner who had an older room. We continued on the tour and eventually purchased a new two bedroom two bath unit which we have religiously pay for and we have stayed at other Westgate Resorts. We finally come back to our home resort and they stick me in a completely out dated unit with out dated, rusty and dirty appliances. This was not the unit they sold us on when we elected to purchase and when I called the front desk, they tell me that there aren't any rooms available and I will have to wait until tomorrow. I have called back the front desk twice now and no one answers. This place is so focused on the potential new buyers, giving them all the perks and trying to sign them up that they forget the owners who are actually paying. Needless to say, I have two guest (potential new buyers) who after talking up this place will see this outdated, shitty room. So I will most definitely discourage them from buying. When I get home, we will be looking for ways to get out of this time share. Completely disappointing.

Stayed here last week, (Aug2015) was considering buying timeshare so booked 5 night stay with my family, and I have to tell you reader… there's No way in hell will I ever stay at Westgate again! never mind buy a time share there… Read on if you want to know more it's lengthy but needs to be… On arrival (4pm), and as potential timeshare buyer first thing you got to do is register at so called Welcome center, between waiting-in-line & registration the process itself took well over an hour when at the end of it we were informed our room wasn't ready, this after spending 10 hours driving to FL and they couldn't give an estimate of wait time! So I asked if they would provide food voucher for the inconvenience to go eat at drafts (resort pub operated by Westgate) we were offered cookies from their 'back office' at first I thought this was a joke but they were actually serious! Anyhow we hung around for about 2 hours waiting before we decided to head to Downtown Disney for walk around & dinner. At close to 9pm (5 hours after check-in! ) I get a call from Westgate resort our room was ready, no apology forthcoming for our delay. We arrived back at the resort at 10.30pm picked up our keys, again no apology, got back in our car drove to our building, drove around & around looking for parking jeeze! my wife has a disability and all four handicap spaces were taken, only four spaces is ridiculous, eventually parking way off in the back of lot.

We are coming but these reviews are frightful, and there seems to be the same Ho Hum response to them all. If staff is not up to par that's where you need to start cleaning house. Bad staff can be the collapse of a business. I am a city girl and I definitely do not like to see ants, cockroaches or flying objects. I truly hope we get nice clean rodent free rooms because I want to have a beautiful time!

The service was horrible. We requested towels as we did not have any In our room; they said it would be 30 minutes around 9 pm; they knocked on the door at 2 am. I am currently here and requested a plunger an hour ago and it still hasnt arrived. What type of "villa" doesn't have a plunger already in the room? I called the front and spoke to a Tianna who was extremely nasty and rude and she said one would be right up. That was twenty minutes ago; so that's 20 min on top of the hour that we spent waiting before a call and our toilet is still stopped up. I requested rhe information for an owner which she refused. This service is horrendous and I will never stay here again nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely love this place! Have been owners since 2013 out in The Westgate of the Smokies. This is our first time out at Westgate Towne Center and couldn't be more pleased with the amenities and service. Extremely friendly staff and check in on a Friday afternoon took less than 5 minutes. My kids absolutely love the pools and water park. Extremely pleased with everything and can't wait to come back.

We knew we were arriving late and called to make sure we could still check in etc, they told us we were all set. When we arrived at 11:30pm they did not have a room for us, they overbooked. We waited until 1am for them to find and clean a room. The room was very unpleasant. The bathroom shower had mold in it and was dirty. The bed linens were soiled. We did ask for another room the next day and they did not have any. We were supposed to stay 7 nights and we left after 3. We paid for all 7 but could not sleep at night — it need a lot of updating and a lot of good scrubbing. We will not be staying there ever again. Very disappointing.

To start this is our first time staying at a Westgate Property and our last. We have been very unhappy with the pool situation. You have 14 small pools with no one over seeing anything that happens with them. We are in the age bracket where we like to have a pool with adults and some children. We have been forced to leave every pool we try because families with 8 to 10 children appear. These children take over the pool — jumping in, throwing balls (which keep hitting everyone) etc. This evening we were in pool The stated capacity for this pool is 60. We estimate there were at least 100 kids in the pool. We had to leave. We were there at 6:00 — figuring it was dinner hour and there would be fewer kids. The kids are only part of the problem. Most of the kids are there without any supervision from their parents. We feel we should have a refund. The only days we were able to use the pool was Monday and Tuesday for a very limited time. We feel this resort has owners and timesharers, but also is renting quite a few units on a 4day package. They come in on thur. And leave on Sunday. Looking up at a unit from the pool in the lanai we could count 12 people mostly kids. This was a one bedroom unit setup to hold 4 people max. Looks like these guys are out to rent as much unused units to anybody and don’t care how many are in a unit.

Me and my family just became members here and the comments making me thank that its not a good place to come. I hope I didn't make a mistake and be coming a member here but we will be visiting soon.

Ridiculous place! Standing in line for the past 1 hour to check in and the line barely moves! The reservation desk is incredibly slow and the people seem not to care of the slow moving long lines! Avoid this place at any cost! Even the cheapest of motels may have better service than this place.

Been an owner here since '93 and love it. Other places can't compare.

I love the Westgate properties as a whole so debated on posting this negative review but since numerous calls to Westgate were met with a nonchalant attitude and since no one seems to care about my safety, I will post it here. I had an unpleasant experience on my last visit. I had an "intruder" on Saturday, April 25. I called Security and received less than satisfactory service. The buck was passed back and forth from Security to the Front Desk and Security NEVER came to check on our well being. They did send a High School Student Employee to our condo but he thought we were locked out and needed assistance. When I told him no, we had someone try to enter, he called Security from our condo and said they would be coming. After waiting about 45 minutes for someone from Security to come check on me, I finally called the Front Desk back and that's how I found out it wasn't an actual intruder but they mistakenly issued someone else a key to my condo — wow, I can't believe no one called me back to tell me that as my husband and I sat waiting for a response! This response is less than acceptable to me and my husband — at least someone could have come to personally apologize to us. Terrible Customer Service Westgate.

Drug dealers in area. Going after underage girls not suggested families.

It is a 5 star hotel they have good beds they have good attention.

I have been stay at westgate villias for 20years this year I was billed 96.00 on my cc for eating there which I never did. Thieves who work there used my room # shame on westgate for not asking for id no a way to run a business.

When I first visited the Westgate Town Center during the Christmas Break 2007, it was a wonderful experience that I have ever dreamed of! When I start my career, I would travel to this place until I die.

I love Westgate Resorts. I bought into a timeshare here and had nothing but great results. Hopefully everybody else will do the same. Great investment.
