Ok, first off I’ve never written a review before. But this is hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. It was full of bums hanging around all day and night. It was right on the edge of sketch town galore. Our first impression was the horrid smell of the room. Every light flickered on in the most eerie way possible and the blankets were trash. A Paper thin sheet and I found a bug in the bed. We, being two young girls felt pretty unsafe and didn’t want to leave our rooms. We only spent the night there and we barely got to sleep or that matter. For 5 hours straight neighbors were yelling and screaming and knocking and banging and bouncing. People were in front of our room all night and we didn’t get to sleep till 4:30am. You could literally see their silhouettes outside our window. Also the housekeeper straight up denied us their shampoo that didn’t even shampoo your hair. Read reviews before staying here. Not a good place to be.

I checked in for 3 days, April 18, 2018, room 156 on first floor. My first night I tossed and turned something was biting me, I went to office and informed them, they changed linen, same night it was even worst than the first one. I woke up Friday morning with bites and Wells on my body. I went to front office to inform them to move me to another room, I was told by person working front when you check in, they are not libel, Me house keeper and front desk clerk all went to room to check, I was informed by house keeper manager that do you realize that all motels have this problem. They were very rude and told me that they wouldn’t give me another room, also stated other people have same problem but they deal with it. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. Drugs are being sold, you constantly smell people smoking, women in and out selling their bodies. Security ain’t worth nothing thy standing around and just don’t care. Sunstyle hotel is very trashy I can see why the place is infested with bugs because the manger only concerned about renting a room.

People here are just trying to make the best out of a bad situation. Unless you are seriously down on your luck pick a different place to stay in a different part of town. But this is the best option, if there are no options. (if you know what I mean)

I just moved in today after having a few bad experiences at other hotels within the area. For starters the guy at the front desk is very friendly and welcoming. One of my biggest things when it comes to booking a room is CUSTOMER SERVICE! And his customer service is EXCELLENT! He ended up giving me a really good discount for $295 a week. Also the room is a very good decent size for a one bedroom studio. The housekeepers did an awesome job with cleaning the room. So far I haven't experienced any roaches or mildew in the room. You also have a very good decent size bathroom, shower and kitchenette with a two stove burner and a small refrigerator. I would highly recommend Sunstyle Suites!

This place was awful! It was chilly when we stayed so we tried turning the heat on but it started smoking so bad that it set off the smoke alarm. So when we went to open the dresser to look for a blanket instead, the handles ripped off the drawers and didn't open. When I went to watch tv, it was so spotty that I couldn't even see anything. Did I mention that the area was so bad that I didn't even feel safe in my room?!

Would not recommend this place for kids. If you are traveling and looking for a hotel stay away! So much people out guys look at your kids like a piece a meat. Never again.

I loved my stay here its so clean that u can eat the outside floor cause they stay on top of it.

Well for starters it looks better in pictures. Its a little on the rough side to say the least. Had I been able to get a refund I wouldnt have stayed there. Its the kinda place you need to sleep with one eye open.

Beware! Do not stay at this unsafe, bug infested place! Also has a bad odor! I cancelled after seeing 2 rooms! Should be condemned!

Extended stay motel does accept pets but there is a non-refundable fee of $250. Motel is very clean. I was impressed to see them mopping the sidewalks. Saw a few roaches when we moved in. Set off a bug bomb and to care of that. Rooms have either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. They have a small kitchen area with a small refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove, and sink. Closet is fairly good size as well as the bathroom. Shower only no tub. Weekly rates are reasonable and there is a discount for paying monthly.

I had a room booked online because it looked ok from the pictures. Got there at 10PM and the office wasn't even open. Had a security guard checking us in. Area was ghetto as hell. He couldn't find my reservation. No worries, plenty of rooms. Booked it and went up there. Room smelled like bug spray, roaches everywhere. We said nope and did a 180 and left. Of course the security guard wasn't able to help with a refund so we left and tried to call them the next day. The refused saying the room was used, but Visa took care of it when I disputed the charges. Google searched hotels I went to another hotel nearby.

To start arriving at the place the young man who attends the parking lot was very friendly, in the office the deal was excellent and when you get to the room is very surprised; Everything was really clean and even the room had a mini kitchen q included fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker… I would definitely recommend…

Roaches every where… ones that come out when you're cooking. Other than that, and it being in a rough neighborhood, the people who work here are amazing!

Well worth the price. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and the property is quiet and secure. The location is within walking distance to virtually everything and with the remodeling taking place, this hotel is a great value for overnight or extended stay.

Stayed one night. The room was clean, but had a strange lingering smell that I decided to get used to. You get what you pay for with this place but at least you'll feel safe with their night security.

Came back after a long day and house keeping was not done. I called the front desk telling him about my situation. So he told me he would give me a call back. Within a minute he called back saying there was a error in the system and that I didnt get house keeping (ol I already figured that out). So I told him ill come down and get clean towels in exchange for dirty ones… To my surprise he refused and told me to wait until tomorrow… So what should I use after taking a shower? … I currently work for Americas Best Value in and extended stay America so I do know how to satisfy a guest on something this simple…

Edit*** I left a box of pendants I use for Reiki healing work here and called immediately to get it back. It was under the mattress, so it wasn't something that would be found by the next guest easily. The staff kept telling me to call back later for the next two days. Then they told me the supervisor wasn't able to find it. Clearly it was stolen by the staff since they were the only ones that knew where it was. Good luck to them on selling it since the stones only LOOK valuable — their actual WORTH is only about $1 each! Let this serve as definitive proof the staff at this place DO steal from the guests here if they find something that appears to be of value!

My husband and I stayed overnight. The staff was very nice and professional. The room had a very strong smell of cleaning solution; we asked for a different room but they said all the rooms smell the same. The area of town wasn't the nicest and the accommodations were very basic so it seemed overpriced to pay 70 with tax. The bed was comfortable and having the kitchen was nice but we didn't need it so I can't comment on that aspect. I don't know that we'd stay here again.

Rooms are OK, staff is not that friendly don't speak good English which makes it hard to get help sometimes… Laundry lady really rude.

I called last week to get price for 1 month for myself and 2 children an was told $832 then I get there and was told $886 that is a big difference and when I told the guy at the desk what I was quoted he called me a liar and I can pay or leave. Do not stay here they make up their own prices as they go it's a rip off, plus the room was musty smelling and carpet was filthy.

My son and his friends went to Halloween Horror night at Universal Studios on 10-14-15. They checked in the afternoon and returned to the room about 1am to find 4 cockroaches in one of the rooms, 3 alive, 1 dead. No management was on site at 1am, so they had to contact security, who informed them they would have to wait until 9am. My son and his friends left immediately after taking video and were not treated respectfully when they drove an hour back the next morning to ask for a refund. The front desk person, got loud and nasty and refused to even look at the video, which clearly had the room number and location. We are fighting for our refund and we would strongly advise people to be aware!

Affordable, clean, safe, you will small kitchen to cook whatever you want.

This place is a rat hole has too much god damn roaches and if you have something on your bed they will not clean your bed you have to wait till next week all I gotta say is that is bull shit.

Rude, Terrible, money hungry. Threw a cancellation fee as a no show when checked in and got a room for $75. It may be policy but you broke your own policy when you let my friend stayed there. Check in time at 2PM? Seriously? No wonder you're on OBT.

When we first arriveed the Manager/Owner seemed to be geniune, the property wasn't so bad considering the area, and the price was very resonable. However, after a few months WE had to complain about a few things such as: the hot water, the kids running around, the Security can't secure the booth he works in, and the Manager/Owner is very, Very Rude!. He's Very SMUG! He wants his guest to pay $250 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT for DOGS! AND CATS PLUS $30.00 a month for dogs!. Whether they cause damage or not! there are 6 child pediphiles / molesters that live there and he never notified us of such!. HE IS ALL ABOUT $$$$$$! $7.00 to Notarize each NAME! For weekly and Monthly Guests, you only get Housekeeping once a WEEK! Youu can't even get an extra roll of toilet paper, garbage bag, etc if it's NOT YOUR CLEANING DAY!. On 3 Seperate Occassions they have Turned THE WATER OFF WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION!. The only guests that recieve geniune service is his own kinds (indians) he only allows his people to rent what he calls the premium rooms!. He is not willing to accomodate his guests unless you are indian!. Several more pediphiles/molesters has moved in since learning of the first 4 and still has not notified no one!. Do not bring your kids or pets! to his establishment!. His wife is constantly arguing with the paying guests!. Looks can be very decieving.

I did not stay there, all I did was inquire about the rates! I told them that I had 2 cats, and could they come there. I found their hotel on an extended stay hotel website, thinking it had a kitchenette or something. He told me that it would cost $250 PER animal to stay and that did not include their weekly rate! he did not even want to discuss anything with me, as though he did not want my business. Sad.

Don't go here, it is not as "nice" as it looks. The owner of this establishment acts like he does not want your business — RUDE AS HELL. In our conversation, his first and foremost concern was that I would be unhappy enough to ask for my money back, and that he had a client walk out of his establishment after paying $650 for a month without a refund even though he stayed there for a week. The owner wants to rip you off.
