Large beautiful grounds. The place has a lot of guest and can feel crowded at times. Though they have 4 plus so there is always a place to find a space of your own. The staff was nice. They have some construction at the moment so parking to check in was crazy. The mini golf course is great and free. We love their activity center. The kids had a ball playing with the toys. We had a ground floor room. Our kids enjoyed playing on the grass in the backyard. The restaurant is nice and the food is tasty. The rooms are large with plenty of space. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

The rooms are clean and in great condition. The pools are well maintained and great for families. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and a three bedroom suite. Both were lovely. Biggest challenge is trying to call the front desk. They seldom answer the phone and it is best to just walk there in person.

The property is extremely large with lots of activities on site. We were here for a sales presentation however and it wasn't for us. Based on what they were offering and at their price point… It logically did not make sense for us. Their yearly maintenance fees are extremely high… More than what I would consider an acceptable amount for hotel rentals for a year let alone the cost of purchasing the membership to begin with. Not to mention, as people who love to go on vacation to actually experience the local flair and attractions, the activities and extremely large properties seem a little over the top to us.

Awesome rate/price for the amount of space, room, and amenities in the "room" = apartment/villa. I would've rated 5 stars, but I have been stopped and pitched on 3 different occasions about visiting their "open house" or sales pitch for future stays. I promise you, if I love it, I will return. Having to stop or pick up the phone to be reminded of an opportunity for future stays. Beside that, the price, the room, the amenities, and all around environment is great.

Also when I checked out they tried to get me to purchase a cruise or something similar. I was on vacation didn't really want to spend extra unnecessary money or time. They should really email or call you on a later day to explain what they were trying to offer you. Besides that it's a 5 star stay!

We loved it here and would definitely come back again. I booked the lowest rate online not knowing that we would still be in a studio with a kitchen, washer/dryer, garden tub, pull-out bed, etc. What a pleasant surprise on the middle portion of a longer trip! We are definitely planning to stay again when we come to the Orlando area parks! The staff were very nice, and no one tried to sell us a time share as others have complained about. We enjoyed our stay very much!

LOVED THIS PROPERTY! The front desk staff provided excellent service. My room was very spacious and super clean. The living room area had more than enough space and the bedroom had a large expansive tub next to the bed. The bathroom was open and spacious, with plenty of mirrors and a nice walk in shower. The dining area was very clean, with a mini kitchenette, regular fridge and microwave included. Will definitely stay here again.

This place is beautiful! There are multiple pools by different buildings so that's nice. There are awesome hot tub bathtubs in the rooms. The grounds are so pretty. And it's decently priced for the quality you're getting! I highly recommend this resort.

I loved it because if you don't want to go Disney World do activities, one can enjoy the activities that they offer to the customers as they are very good.

The location is perfect. The place is pretty close to the Disney parks. The workers are very nice. I'd stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. When I first saw the price I was skeptical. However I did some research and based on other reviews, decided to give them a shot. Best decision ever! The resort was gorgeous and very clean. Our room was actually a 1 bedroom apartment, it was beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. The gate attendant actually said "welcome home" every night we returned from the Disney parks. I cannot recommend this resort enough! We are definitely going to be coming back.

I liked this hotel with its condo style units. Fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer in the unit, beautiful heated central pool, golf on site, activities for children. Walmart is a 5-minute drive to grocery shopping and buy what you might miss. Some units have been redone, others are being renovated. When I said I spoke French I was not achalé with Time Sharing. I am quite satisfied with the cleanliness and services offered on site. There are activities available every day of the week such as bingo, T-shirt creation, aquafitness, scientific experience, etc. I got a good price (Canadian $60 per day plus management fee) passing through Agoda. I will definitely return if I find a similar deal.

We came all the way from Israel, using our time share exchange program, for a week. The rooms, facilities and amenities were very satisfying and the stay was great. Location is a bit away from central Orlando but it worth the price. The resident is more of a big neighborhood than a hotel. It doesn't mean it's not as good as a hotel but the building's are more spread and less centralized. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff was very helpful and any requests were answered fast. I would definitely recommend this location to friends witch are looking for a family's lodging solution.

Awesome place to stay with family, friends or alone. Many Activities an abundance to do. Will pick you up outside suite to take you to event just call no added fee. Please join in calendar with description of events and times provided. The activities are mostly free not more $10/$5. Beautiful scenery for walk or just relax by pool or on patio. They even have massage they come to your room but it is a fee. Enjoy.

The staff are very kind, and it does have some great scenery! I like the activities they have, however I do feel it's missing something, but I'm not sure what. I guess something more unique, something that could give it personality. The rooms are nice and spacious as well. I would definitely come back again, although it'd be nice if they keep bugging us about timeshares!

I am writing this review specifically regarding Mystic dunes golf course. Having played here many times in the past, I could not have been more disappointed in the horrific conditions of this place. While I understand they have new ownership. It would’ve been nice had someone in the pro shop warned me that the fairways were ridiculously bad, greens covered with sand. And the bunkers filled with grass and leaves. The only shining area of this course was the staff.

We found this on line for our visit to Disney and Universal Studios. The 2-bedroom 2-bath unit we rented was very spacious, clean and recently updated (except for the shower head). Mystic Dunes offered a convenient shuttle to the parks. The grounds are nicely landscaped, but there was more walking to the shuttle stop and resort activities than we expected. They offer a shuttle within the resort, though.

Excellent all beautiful my girlfriend had an accident and helped me thanks to the staff would come back without thinking.

This hotel was incredible. Everything you need in one place. Next time we go on a vacation we will probably visit another diamond resort. They have many outdoor pools with slides and white sand for the kids to play in. Tennis, basketball, mini golf many other activities for the kids. The room we started in had a kitchenette with a washer and dryer. A dishwasher a kitchen stocked for a short stay. I swear everything you could possibly think of they have. Diamond resorts will be in my radar for my next vacation.

Very nice place, spacious, with 2 very nice pools although I doubt q use them a lot if you come to the parks and do not have days off. Please note that there is no room cleaning service or towel replacement. For 6 people. 7 also.

Spacious apartment with kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, in-room whirlpool, electric kitchen. For what we are looking for, don't disturb even the staff, the best. It's a timeshare, not a hotel. Therefore it is not handled as such.

Pretty good. The location can be hard to get into sometimes because of traffic, but the resort is fairly nice. Not a five star or anything but it works perfectly fine if you need a place to stay. They also have free minigolf, bikes, tennis, and plenty of of other fun activities of you're bored. But you're probably not because you should be staying here for Disney World. The free gold cart rides are very nice too. It's perfect if you just need a place to stay for Disney or Universal, but you probably won't be using the extras they provide then. If you're looking for a place to stay that's really nice because you plan on being in your room a lot. I would look else where. Service, activities, and quality are great, but not top-notch.

This place, for the price, is outstanding when doing a Florida vacation. A ~6 minute drive to every Disney park and almost straight shot to Universal. Staff was great. Understanding and patient. Great customer service. The room we stayed in had a kitchen, washing machine, dish washer, and two rooms with 3 beds total.

I had a horrible experience here! The first 2 bedroom they put me in had a couch that most of the arm was ripped off, patches of the leather were peeled away, and it had paint on it. The room was also musty and smelled like mildew. When I called the front desk they asked if I'd just like to note it so I wasn't charged for anything. No I wanted a new room. They told me to wait in that room and someone would bring me new keys for the new room. We waited 30 min before I called back and the woman apologized and had a runner here in 5 min. The new one wasn't much better. The couch was worn but not torn and rooms had a musty smell to them that went away once the air was on for a while. I wanted to switch rooms again but my husband had just driven 15 hours and didn't want to move again. Our last night there I went to take garbage out and there were roaches under the sink. When I called the desk they said someone would be there within 30 minutes, I told them someone had better be here in 5. I don't do Bugs! The man did show up quickly and sprayed the kitchen and killed the bugs he saw under the sink. Unfortunately that just made the ones he missed spread into other rooms. We were leaving early the next morning so I was up packing and had a roach try to climb into my suitcase. I was not happy. I had to unpack, repack, and take out to our vehicle to make sure no critters came home with me. If I end up with roaches at home after this they will be paying for my exterminator!

The hotel is nice but all rooms have not been renovated. Our original room was an older one and after calling the front desk, we were moved to a renovated room which is significantly nicer. The 2 bedroom villa is huge! Service is friendly. Grounds are well kept. Speed bumps throughout the roadways could be better marked. Plenty of dining and cooking wares are provided. The pots and pans are nice. It's a home away from home.

Great place! Quiet, relaxed and very good customer service. The complex is big and have several pools, a bar/restaurant a common playing room and a golf field. There are enough open space to take walks or bike. Each building has its own parking lot on the outside but sometimes it is too crowded and if you return late you can end with no parking left. Very good assistants in the customer service office and by phone.

The price of the… But very cool.

My stay wasn't bad. The villa was nice and cozy. It was relatively cleaned when I enter, though there was some dust bunnies and dead moths tucked into some corners. Only stayed a weekend, but the activities center kept me busy since Disney World and Universal weren't on my to-do list. Loved the miniature golf course, though it can use a refurbishment. The fitness center, pool and basketball court was a pleasure. There were a few small complaints, which I addressed with management, but overall very pleasant stay.

We love this location. Close to Disney Parks, restaurants, and gift shops. The property is well kept, and have lots to offer for the entire family. All the rooms are being updated and are completely gorgeous. There is putt-putt, a Golf Course, splash pads, and three swimming pools, and a restaurant on site. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The gate guy was professional, and the front desk check in were friendly as well. Now on the other hand. 1. No daily room service for cleanliness, or up keeping. 2. Water smelt like sewerage. 3. Fire alarm testing for a full 10am-6pm on one of our days there. Would have been nice to know, and wasn't offered anything due to irritating annoying sounds. While we're spending our time and money trying to relax. The last thing we want to deal with is fire alarm testing. They shouldn't rent the room out or offer a discounting price. 4. Out dated interior and appliances. There wasn't a blow dryer that I found. 5. Didn't like that our "welcome gift " was a scam to buy into unwanted packages. It's misleading and irritating. Would have been nice to actually receive a gift. Even if it was as small as a book marker. 6. Now the bed was comfortable, but felt incredibly small like a full. I feel as they should pur a king in a suit as we stayed in. We stayed in this resort because we had just watched undercover boss with diamond resorts. We expected much more than what was actually provided. Would we stay there again. Probably not, but for how cheap it was maybe. I guess you pay for what you get.

Some furniture seemed dates, the flow of the suites seemed odd. Would of been nice to have the secondary room away from the elevator section since it caused a lot of noise during the early mornings. Light switches were in odd places. Had to walk across the hotel suite to turn off lights in the living space. Would of been nice to have a secondary switch near the master bedroom. The lights for the porch were in the master bedroom. So if someone was sleeping with the door lock you could not turn off or on the light. The room was very spacious and the hotel offered a lot. The room service menu was a bit limited and pricey with gratuity included but tasted good. Overall my stay was good.

We enjoy ourselves every time we stay at Mystic Dunes. The condo has a nice kitchen and dining room, the living room is very large with a comfortable sectional couch, the master bedroom is very large with a king size bed, jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double vanity, the send bedroom has 2 queen beds, there is a 2nd bathroom as well. The condos, pool areas and common grounds are very well kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has good food, dine in or delivery. There is bar type food at the main pool as well. I highly recommend Mystic Dunes Resort.

Very nice rooms! great location next to Disney World Resorts only half hour from Universal Studios. But they don't do room service while you're there. And try to talk you into getting a timeshare with them even before you see your room or spend any time at their Resort. They Advertised whirlpool tubs and did not have them. They advertised jetted tubs and did not have them. As well as advertised hot tubs did not have them. The swimming pools were large in length but only went to three and a half feet deep so with wanting to go swimming and not being able to go down more than that was not a good pool to do so. Wish that it would have been a deeper pool or at least have one of the pools be deep enough to dive and swim in. The waterslide was fun but cause big red marks on your back and ended up being quite painful the next day. Schools are not heated.

At the time of this review I've only stayed one night. Maintenance had to fix 2 issues which were resolved quickly. The accommodations are nice, a little dated but the bed is comfy. Kitchen is well equipped and modern appliances. The grounds are week kept and it's nice there are several pools. The workout room is lacking modern equipment.

It was spacious and clean. The rooms were up to date. It was easy to get around. There's a security gate and guard which helps keep the property safe. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I would stay again!

Very nice location. The rooms have all the comforts of home! Only 12 minutes to Magic Kingdom, so location is great. The resort is spread out quite a bit which I wasn't aware of so you have to drive or call for a golf cart to get from one pool to another. The guy that checked us in at the front desk was rude, and they do try to get you to do a time-share sales pitch, but they back down pretty quickly if you firmly state you're not interested. We'd stay here again.

These are not hotel rooms. This is a large apartment with a kitchen, in which a large refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, micro and full set of utensils. Washing machine and dryer. Bedroom with jacuzzi.

The golf course is in awful condition. The greens have large bare patches, some large enough to be sand traps. They are bumpy. The fairways are sketchy. Some tee boxes are so chewed up that there is no footing. No one should waste their money there. This is unfortunate, because I like the track and have played it several times. I decent condition it's one of my favorites.

Your time share sales department lies and does a bait and switch. We enjoyed our stay so much we considered coming back to listen to the 3 hour presentation. We were told we could come back to Mystic Dunes and stay in a 2 bedroom suit. All we had to do was give a $150 deposit which would be refunded after the 3 hour presentation. Imagine our surprise when the reservation agent said we could not stay at Mystic Dunes but could stay at a Holliday Inn in Buena Vista.

I great place! Very good service, beautiful place. Recommended without a doubt! Unforgettable days.

This resort was a great option for my family. My parents were given the opportunity to travel here on a package, and they were gracious enough to take myself and my brother. The resort itself is beautiful from the outside, and far more expansive than I was prepared for. If anything, it was so large that you would HAVE to take the shuttles they provide to reach some of the amenities. The staff were AMAZING, friendly and professional. I work at a hotel Guest Service desk myself, and the girl who checked us in, who's name I forgot to write down, (sorry to whoever you are) was great. She tried to make our experience happy and pleasurable, she was upbeat, and happy the whole time. I wish I could remember her name so that I could make sure her Management sees this. The room we got was enormous, spacious, and beautifully furnished. I understand, (again working at a Vacation Rental style hotel where we have "Unit Owners") that these are furnished differently from one to the next in some cases, but this one didn't seem outdated or old in any way. Gorgeous dark wood cabinets and dark granite counters made the kitchen feel so Lux, and the triple sheeting on the beds and them feel fresh and not like your standard ugly "hotel" floral comforters. The tile floors were clean and didn't leave our feet feeling dirty, and the furniture was modern and we'll kept. The Master bedroom had a Master bath so large it dwarfs my bedroom at home. I was so impressed I don't have words.

Fun course with some well designed holes. However, they got a little carried away with some of those greens. Especially knowing that most of the golfers will be traveling down to play.

This was the most luxurious place I have ever seen a patio three massive TV's that had HD I and my girlfriend had an incredible time golfing relaxing in our jacuzzi and swimming in the tropical swimming pools.

We had no problems with this resort. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We asked for a renovated room as it was a common tip when we read reviews, but they said they couldn't accommodate that. We then asked for a golf course view as it was also a common tip — they ended up give us a forest/marsh type view — but we were fine with that — very quiet and private. The screened in porch was great! Other features we enjoyed most was the laundry, kitchen, huge jet tub, and living area. We had two bedrooms with the master king and two queens. We also celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday there. So we will always have some special memories here. :) The grocery store was very close (Publix) but across the street was a Target Superstore so we got everything we needed there. Onsite our room was a 2 min walk to the lagoon waterfall pool. Very relaxing and fun. We will likely go back.

A-MAZING! I was REALLY weary about my reservation because of some of the other reviews but this place is GREAT! It's got EVERYTHING you need, tableware, cookware, EVERYTHING! They ARE remodeling making their already great rooms better! We did NOT do their shuttle service because they said it takes about an hour to get to the parks, so keep that in mind. The pool that was in OUR area was great. The bar does not open until the afternoon though. Over all GREAT experience.

Don't ever buy a timeshare from this company. They nickel and dime you to death. They raise their maintenance fees every year. You can be one day late with a payment or fees and they practically rape you with service charges. Don't do like I did and make the worst decision of your life and buy a timeshare. Invest your money and take nice vacations. Google and read about timeshares on Dave Ramsey's web site, he will give you solid guidance. Mystic Dunes is a very deceptive organization.

I had a really good experience here at the Mystic Dunes Resort. I was only on a short staycation, so I didn't get the full resort experience. I did attend the sales presentation, a. K. A. The update presentation for me. Jeff and Edward created a sweet deal for me. I'm glad I became an owner.

We stayed a couple nights for a disney trip with 2 children. The location was great. The Service however was not. We had neighbors who played loud music both nights, waking up the baby. I tried calling and couldn't reach any one for help. I left a message on the managers voice mail, and never received a call back. The room it self was ok, but a little sparse and run down. Oh, and Wifi did not work, even after talking to the help desk. We will not be back.

UPDATE 11/19/2014: The orange county (orlando) health department called me to let me know that they visited the resort to check for BED BUGS and found that the units I had stayed in have been ripped apart and closed and that they are being renovated. I have no doubt to believe that this renovation is taking place due to the fact that I had called the resort to report the incident and seeking reimbursement. Bottom line, I am happy that something is being done but I am not happy to shell out the $2000-$3000 to take care of the situation at my house. In summary, I would never visit this resort again after this experience and don't recommend it to anyone. The management and people in charge proved that they care about covering up and getting the units fixed before the health dept could check to avoid any fines and cases. NOTE: we drove all the way from Indiana to Orlando in our own honda odyssey. Good and OK things first 1. The location of this resort place is very close to the magic kingdom and the parks, 2. People at the front desk were courteous. 3. The rooms were spacious and ok (3 out of 5).

My husband and I went to a sales presentation at this resort's welcome center. The goal was for them to explain to us a deal they were offering through a 2 hour presentation and then at the end allow us to decide whether or not we wanted to take the deal. The sales representative we had was Carlos Santiago. I recommend that if you are at this resort, never go to the sales presentation, especially if the sales people are all like Carlos Santiago. During the presentation he was actually very kind, easy to talk to, and even complimentary. However, by the end of the presentation, after my husband and I had a long discussion about whether or not we were financially ready to take the steps he was offering for us to take, we told Carlos that we just were not ready to take the deal at this time. His mood changed immediately. He became very rude and very condescending. He told us that we were "typical young people making poor decisions" as well as insulting my husband by telling him that he was going to ruin our marriage by not making me happy in life. Carlos Santiago made us feel extremely insulted and infuriated. I recommend that if you go to a sales presentation at this resort and you get him as your sales representative, that you ask for somebody different to assist you. We did not deserve the treatment he gave us.

The Golf course is miracle is beautifully situated and very challenging with the many and very large American-style sand traps. The oversized Bunker, however, are considered as Wasteland and can thus also easier to be played on. The Greens are sometimes very strong occupiert and also offer a wonderful challenge. The whole place is rather atypical for Courses in Florida is very dry with just a few Wasserhinernissen, but not less interesting. Highly recommended the place.
