Very spacious and clean apartment style spaces with large screened-in balconies or patios, full kitchens, laundry, and living/dining areas. Our space is larger than my house! Each small neighborhood of buildings had its own small pool, and there is a larger community pool and recreation area. We were able to purchase theme park tickets on site. Overall, it is quite nice. We could have comfortably slept six, or used the couch to sleep two more without feeling too crowded. Each bathroom has a separate shower and soaking tub. The master bath could double as a skating rink. The location is about 40 minutes from Universal Studios, and 20 minutes from Disney World Downside: stairs. So many stairs. If you are not as spry as you used to be, or have mobility issues, make sure you get a ground floor space. We ended up on the third floor and after a day at one of the parks it's a real struggle to drag myself up the stairs!

Very nice place, and the entire staff — from the reception area to the custodial guys driving around on the golf carts — are amazing. Great, friendly people that care deeply about customer service. The landscape is beautiful, and the pool areas are wonderful. Our room was a little dated, but it was plenty roomy for our crew of six. Our view was of an access road because we were on the back of the resort, but there are other villas that are in more scenic places. The resort itself is in a residential part of Orlando (Four Corners, FL), and grocery stores and strip malls are aplenty. Probably not the greatest location if going to WDW. We have previously stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and if you come here looking for something at that level, you won't find it. But, Wyndham Bahama Bay is great if you want a nice place to relax.

Apartments are clean and roomy. The grounds appear well maintained and have some nice paths for a morning jog. There are two decent sized pools and an on site restaurant which I have yet to try. There's plenty of parking spaces and the location is only about 20-25 minutes to most of the Disney properties.

Very clean and well maintained resort. Two large pool areas to choose from and plenty of walking trails around nicely landscaped ponds. The condo itself had everything that you could need and was immaculately clean. The pool area had lots of chairs and lounges and a nice beach area with hammocks and places to relax in the shade. The pool bar had a couple of pool tables and a happy hour from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm though be careful when tipping as the gratuity is already added to your bill. Would definitely return.

What a lovely resort! Close enough to the parks that you don't feel like you've lost time, far enough that it's not overly crowded. Spacious rooms, full kitchen with cookware and counter space galore. Like staying at home. Multiple pools, one open until 11 pm. On site bar, only open until 10 pm. A splash pad for the kids. An on site spa. Simply wonderful.

A lovely gated community. The grounds were pristine. There is a great little pond to walk or run around. There are many pools all very well kept and one has a sand "inland beach" which was quite nice as well. There were many more amenities we didn't get time to check out. Our particular rental unit was perfect and we were very happy with everything. The location was great, between all of our destinations — Lego Land, Universal, and Animal Kingdom. The surrounding area has plenty of shopping and some good restaurants.

A special place to enjoy an unusual tranquility and comfort.

Amazing place! Staff very friendly… very clean location… I most definitely will recommend this place to anyone. My family and I are enjoying our time.

Glorious surroundings with the lakes and palm trees. Seven of us staying in a condo and superb space and facilities. Great location for the theme parks and getting to the airport.

We really liked this place and will definitely come back. The two bedroom comfortably fit our family of six. It is very spacious. There are lots of things for the kids to do onsite. The staff is friendly. Only complaint is that the beds are hard and the tvs are old and small.

I've always found the front office staff to be very good here. Because the actual rooms are individually owned, your mileage may vary a little bit there. The main pool, Sandy Beach, Bar and restaurant area is always extremely fun. The bartenders are understaffed for sure, and I would give the place of five star if you could actually get a drink when he wanted one, but I still enjoy going there.

Neat and clean resort. Prompt service by resort housekeeping, maintenance, front desk staff. There courtesy and politeness added stars to the rating. We stayed for 4 days, 3N and the 2 bedroom was found to be very spacious. We landed at around 10.45 pm and the check — in process was quick and efficient. Facilities at resort includes: 1 DVD rentals free, TV in Hall and bed rooms, decent kitchen amenities with plates, spoons, glass and other essential utilities like mixer, refrigerator, microwave, dish washer. Washing machine and dryer which was quiet efficient. Comfortable beds, sofa, neat and clean towels. They gave atleast 8 large towels. 1 mini shop alongside reception for buying water, milk, washing liquid etc. In house Spa facility, lake at a walkable distance. Balcony, Centralized A/C and heater in the house. Resort to magic kingdom/sea world by Uber/lyft is around $20 — $25

It's a good resort. A lot of stuff for the Nino's.

Close to Disney World. Wall outlets lose, some sort of "unsafe" altercation outside. Police told us to hurry inside for our safety when we arrived and parked. Staff was great, room was very nice. Poolside very nice! Would stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay. The place is amazing! Especially if youve never been to Florida before.

We were alone for a week. Divine Place. You are swimming pools one of them with a small artificial beach attached to the lagoon, lots of vegetation and a giant lagoon with pier that invites to stay a good time.
Tranquil. Close to Disney and shopping malls. Super recomemdable.

This was a great place for our national team meetings. We brought in 19 people and stayed in a few of the condos and had access to a meeting room. A great place to to have both fun and a space to get away to do meetings. Would definitely come here again.

Our experience was tied to a golf package with T-time USA and was absolutely perfect for our group. Inviting, roomy and centrally located to numerous golfing opportunities made it ideal for our party of 4 male golfers needing a casual atmosphere while providing individual privacy.

The Resort is well, a bit deteriorated by the weather, but enjoyable. Could improve!

Excellent location, very quiet, super recommended, excellent attention at the reception, excellent pool and gym. Particularly where we were staying was large and super comfortable and equipped with the items needed for the stay.

It was very good the stay, the only thing I did not like is that they charge the cleanliness but do not make it if not until your re go, but everything else well.

Private owned units, a little dated but roomy had everything needed. Resort is a bit dated as well and a bit far from the parks and family actvities. (25 minutes). Easy check in, small pools near buildings. No resort style scheduled activities or entertainment.

Nice but not that nice. Beware hidden fees. Pools small, resteraunt shabby and pricey. Tvs small rooms small, porches small. Expect more with a name like Wyhndam. Overall ok asked for a renovated one so as not to get old tube tvs and bedding. Individual owners and their own taste decorating. Lennar is much better.

The resort is wonderful! The three bedroom condo is very roomy, clean and updated. The pool and beach are perfect for any sunny day and evening. I like how the resort is a little hidden away from the busy highway. All staff have been helpful with and super nice. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit the area.

We spent a good amount of money on a vacation home that advertised a hot tub, however, they don't tell you it is an extra $210 fee to actually have HOT tub. It's more like a kiddie pool. The customer service at bahama bay gave us false information and were very rude. The home is clean and nice but the kitchen is lacking in pots and pans and kitchen utensils. Very unhappy will never rent with this company again.

Very nice location! Loved fenced in porch. Pools were nice and clean. Loved the food at tradewinds.

No room service. The staff were some unfriendly. On the left the Anlhe nothing personal!

Furniture scratched and old. One bedroom door and one bath mirror broken. Mattress old and sagging. Front desk personnel slow and uncaring and generally not helpful. One good point, Maintenance. When something need fixing, they responded QUICKLY.

The worst Wyndham Resort we have ever stayed in. There's no elevators for the elderly or handicap, nor were there any handrails in the bathrooms. The beds are very hard and you only have 1 pillows per person. The burners on the stove only 1worked so we had to call maintenance. Only 1 towel in the bath room, so we had to call housekeeping. Not enough dishes so had to call housekeeping again. The smoke detector was broken so we had to call maintenance to fix it, they came and replaced the battery. They had to come back again and this time they took down the smoke detector. They never replaced it. The furniture was chipped and torn, the rugs have burn marks on them, the stove and microwave were rusted and the cabinets were peeling. There was only 1 TV in the unit and when we asked for a second TV we were told no. I think the smell of mildew or mold was very bad and we had to buy Lysol to get rid of the smell and burn a candle. To say the least as owners for over 20 years with Wyndham, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This place is a joke! We arrived early and they stated the room isn't ready yet but we will call you when it is ready. Waited until 3:30 and still no phone call. Went in to the front desk and they stated it still wasn't ready and check in really isn't until 4 pm. THIS place isn't busy by any means. I don't see how it took all day to clean a room. Never had that issue anywhere else. Finally get into our room and was shocked when we came in. The outside porch looks like it has never been cleaned. The BEDS are horrible same with the pillows. The kitchen needs to be fixed and the master shower doesn't drain right. I would never recommend anyone to come here. Glad I am not a Owner for this place.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Bahama Bay, our condo was right next to one of the pools and Tradewinds restaurant. We had a three bedroom condo, which was amazing. The master room had its own bathroom and balcony, the queen and twin bedrooms had a shower bathroom to share. You can rent movies there was a DVD player in the living room and also buy amusement park tickets from front desk. We didn't have a problem with the resort just with the neighbors above us. They were stomping and kids were running while we were trying to sleep in the morning and at night. We called front desk and they handle the situation for us. From the resort to Universal is about 30-40 minutes. Other than that I would recommend this resort.

On site restaurant (Tradewinds) was very accommodating when I had to leave at a moments notice after ordering. I came back shortly there after and they were ready to start making my order. Great experience, great food.

The resort has many nice features. The price is good for what you get. The food at Trade Winds (on property) is good. Some items are very good. It's pricey though. They also have a pool table, ping pong, and video games. The pool area is great — a nice big pool and two hot tubs, a large area with sand and a fishing pier too. It's a convenient distance to Disney — about 20-30 minutes with traffic, but definitely NOT 10 minutes. There are also many stores and restaurants on nearby Route 27. Now the bad. The absolute worst thing was the beds and pillows. The mattresses are like a medieval torture device. You can feel the springs in your back and they pop and make a tremendous racket if you move. The pillows probably came with the mattresses — junk. Bring your own if possible. Don't plan on getting a good night's sleep. Next, is the cellular and Wi-Fi access. I have AT&T. I had one or two bars if any. Pretend you're camping in the wilderness I guess. Wi-Fi is spotty. Lastly, the condition and amenities in each codo can vary (see other reviews). In 902 the bathroom fan was broken. There was a little mold in the bathroom shower door. The tub needs a hand rail for the elderly guests. The bedroom ceiling fans are super cheap and noisy. We would have liked a few more amenities in the kitchen like a dish rack and other convenience items. Half the toaster was broken. Except for the beds, we could live with the rest. We liked the unit in all other respects.

Bahama bay is amazing! I love it here, me and my family go here every year for the last 3 years and every time we go we always leave happy. They have several of pools one by each apartment building so the pool wont be over crowded and I also like that its literally 10 minutes away from the all time great where dreams come true Disney world! this is a great place for you and your family to stay and you wont regret it either.

Just checked in, and this is the most disgusting room I could imagine. Trying to find a square inch on the carpet that is not stained.

Great, clean and tidy with beautiful views of the lake. Swimming pool was open all day and part of the night and wasn't very busy.

I've stayed here twice on our Disney vacations and I just love this place. Prices are reasonable, kids have a great time in all the pools and it's only 15 minutes from Disney. Definitely recommend. I'll be there again August 20th.

Really happy with this place. This is the only way to go for large families; we'd need two hotel rooms anywhere else, and here we had a full kitchen as well. Way nicer and saved us a ton of money. Close to Disney (there is a "back door" way to get there and avoid the freeway). Kids loved the pools, and the bar and restaurant were both very good. Kid-friendly karaoke on Sat nights is a rare find. Minus one star only because the bars and pools close much too early (10-11pm even on Fri/Sat).

Upon arrival, the GSR was very nice. He got us checked into our 2BR Villa quickly. We went to our villa and did a check for clean bathrooms, bedbugs, etc. The showers had hair in them and it was evident the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned. I cleaned purchased cleaning products and cleaned the bathrooms. Then, we found the first COCKROACH of the day in the living room. My husband killed it and called the front desk. The girl didn't seem concerned and said they would spray the room in the morning. We tried to relax but we were concerned about roaches and we also had upstairs neighbors that sounded like a herd of elephants (we called the front desk 3 times about this and nothing was done). Then, about an hour later, another COCKROACH! They were huge! This time, it came out from under the bed! My husband killed this one and called the front desk to be moved to a different room. After about half an hour, we get to move to a different villa (had to repack ALL of our belongings). The new villa had dirty bathrooms (which we had to clean again) and there were drawers broken on dressers and in the kitchen. Also, there were silver fish on the tile as we arrived (we showed the employee that took us to the new room). Overall, the second villa was nicer than the first and we at least didn't have noisy neighbors. However, when we checked out and addressed these experiences with the GSR, her response was that she hoped we would stay with them again.

BAHAMA MOLD! ROOM 903! MOLDY CARPET! OUTDATED! Made better by upgrade to better room after we complained, couldn't take the mold smell. But why keep offering the moldy old rooms, they make the place look bad-.

My family and I stayed at Bahamas Bay resort for Spring Break and upon arrival I was asked to place a deposit using my credit card which I gave the attendant. He used an old machine called " Credit card imprint"Turns out that my information was stolen on the same day and fraudulent charges were made on my card. I called the resort to complain and they denied everything. My question is why would the resort used such an old method of payment which can place customers' information in danger of identify theft. Be aware and dont give them your credit card to swap.
