Friendly staff beach was not crowded rooms very well kept and very clean.

It’s a decent motel — it is a block from me and I lived there for about a month when I was working on my house.

What a great way to spend my Thanksgiving holiday… had a Wonderful stay… highly recommended.

Wonderful place, great staff, Ocean front and very clean. We have been staying here for years and would not stay any where else.

Location is good its next to sea shore & beachfront but only thing is our room had some bad smell. Not sure what was that. Anyhow we just stayed there for a night.

It is just steps away from the beach. They provide free parking. Make sure you reserve parking. They do not offer breakfast. The only thing that I was not happy about was that the sheets and comforter did not look and feel clean on the first night I was there. However, the second night was better because the service and attention I received by the hotel's experienced front desk clerk on my second day in the afternoon was wonderful (he personally changed the sheets and comforter and provided clean towels).

When we checked into the Motel the front desk clerk told me that the elevator was broken and wouldn't be fixed until the next day, which it wasn't and by the way our rooms were located on the 4th floor. We reserved 3 rooms. The refrigerator/freezer in our room didn't work. So all of the food that we put in the fridge the first night had to be thrown away on the second day. We told the lady at the front desk about the fridge and her response was "can't you just use the fridge in one of the other rooms? " So that's what we did and in the midst of going back and forth from room to room putting food in a fridge that works the key cards stop working. Back to the front desk again down 4 flights of stairs because the elevator was broke. We told the clerk that the key cards were no longer working and she asked "are you rubbing them together or storing them next to your cellphones? " After getting card that worked we walked back up 4 flights of stairs to our room to move food and drinks to a fridge that worked. They called the maintenance man out to look at our fridge and all he did was complain about being called in on his day off. There was stagnant water in between rooms due to the rain. That water was being tracked from room to room due to the extra traffic to a working fridge. On day 2 the elevator door was open but the it wasn't fixed. Open door on a broken elevator equals a safety hazard.

We wanted to get 2 adjoining rooms for the weekend, they did not have that available for the requested Thursday check in so we got one room then they could accommodate us for Friday and Saturday with the 2 adjoining rooms. When we checked into the first room Thursday my 16 year old said she was not going to be using the bathroom this weekend. When I go look at it, it was clean but just old with rust stains in the tub and the toilet rocked severely when you sat on it. My husband went to put some chicken in the oven in the kitchenette and it started to heat but stopped working before the chicken was even halfway done. The refrigerator worked but not the freezer The room itself was clean. Our next concern was that checkout was 11am and check-in to the adjoining rooms we really wanted was 4pm. When we asked how that would be handled the response was that they would see whay they could do. I would think that it would be automatic transition. Either the new rooms would be ready early or we could stay in the current room until the new rooms were ready. They eventually allowed us to stay in the current room until the new rooms were ready. When we got to the new rooms they were a huge improvement over the old one. Much bigger, and more updated. But there were cockroaches to the point where when I got home I left my luggage in the garage because I was certain some must have come home with me. The hotel and the surrounding area just was run down and could use some TLC.

Although it is a hotel on the older side the staff and the hotel is actually nice the rooms were clean musty smelling a little bit the patio where you sit out on his small but generally speaking everything is kept tidy we tried to book a night for next years Coke 400 race and the price pretty much doubled and the young woman at the front desk was suppose to be a boss or owner says all that because theyre going to upgrade their hotel so we decided not to book for next year as we believe it’s a 2 to 3 star hotel not a five star and $219 a night for the race Is too high for this hotel. Had price been $150 ish they would’ve had my business for Coke 400.2019

A wonderful place they will do their best to make your visit a pleasurable one. A clean motel and very nice people.

Beds were a little hard but other than that it was great. Wonderful views. Pool was nice. Staff was nice. Easy beach access.

Great for the price. Staff was pleasant. Beach access was convenient. Room was good size. Loved having the kitchenette. The air broke while we were there. They offered an early checkout with refund. That was very nice and we took advantage of this.

The room was nice and clean and enjoyed the view from the balcony, the guy that worked nights is very nice he helped us do a check in for our flight home and the office people was helpful and nice also. Housekeeeping needs to spend more time in room restocking the one day we were out of soap and kleenex.

Was looking for a room for a one night get away. Found this hotel. Staff was very friendly room was clean. We will be back. So much rather stay at a privately owned hotel then a chain.

Great location, right at the beach. The rooms are a bit old and run down though. I guess it's OK for a beach-side motel.

We stayed here on April 28th 2018 in Room 104 Ground floor that had view of the pool and ocean beyond. There was a lovely patio with table, 4 chairs and umbrella just outside the sliding glass door. Our neighbors in all the other ground floor rooms were pleasant and enjoyed their stay. The room had two queen beds. Full kitchen. In room coffee and coffee maker. Remodeled but with original yellow bathroom tile. So cool. The room was right across from the electrical room so you can hear that and guests at times in the breezeway. This is not a quiet hotel. Families of four were staying in the rooms and using their patios, balconies, pool and beach. There was no vacancy because of Jeep Beach. So the parking lot may be full if you return from a night out in the wee hours. The staff was quite pleasant and the owner spoke with us several times. Coffee and tea in office. P. S. We stayed the weekend before on the second floor Room 216 with one king bed and a loveseat. No ocean view. A parking lot view. That room was a little damp and the a/c was loud and cold. But the room was clean and comfortable bed. Same original tile in bathroom.

I stayed over this past weekend with my family and my sick mom (she was throwing up, but it was her birthday, and the room was paid for in advance so she said she wad going). Our room was clean, our bathroom was clean, we had a nice kitchenette, and the view was amazing. We will definitely book again.

Do not stay bike week or spring break. The hotel and staff are fine but they cannot control the guests. I stayed 3 nights… I let them know about the nouse and chaos… No results. I have a disability and got no sleep for 3 nights… I feel like I could have been moved but that wasnt even offered… I was told it was normal for this week.

I wish to own that place and make people happy like they do. You have everything you need here to njoying beautiful and calming moment of your life. Kids will be happy too.

The only positive from our stay was the view from our room that overlooked the ocean. We had to kill a cockroach and had to ask the front desk several times for a cot to be delivered to our room.

Awesome clean room, staff excellent 110% will return. Our room was VERY clean, comfy bed, and kitchen is great plus save money and can enjoy pool and beach without leaving. Room view was beautiful We were celebrating our Anniversary (21) gonna book this week again for May 2018 for our 24th.

Have been me and my husband have loved the very clean place the staff very friendly, and rider the only downside the mattresses are changed.

My parents stayed there 7 nights but could only sleep for 3 as they choose to rent to scumbags who party until 4am. Then the AC quit working so they left earlier than expected. They drove 3 days to come visit and had a horrible stay. The worst by far. Will never stay or recommend this place to anyone.

On the whole it's a lovely motel. It needs to go SMOKE FREE because of morons smoking in the stairwell, around the pool and on their balcony which might as well be on your own.

The room was clean and smoke free. The views nd beach access were phenomenal. Service was excellent. There was a lingering sewage smell you n the parking lot the day we left. Also amenities weren't clear at check-in. All in all my family had a great relaxing time. My mom especially enjoyed the kitchenette for our travel food.

Our stay at The Cove Beachfront was awesome. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. View was spectacular. Room was clean and quite large. We stayed on the ground floor near the pool, but we always sat away from the pool overlooking the beach, yet just a few steps from the pool. Definitely going back.

We had a great stay here for the couple of days we were in Daytona! Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and not too crowded at the pool. Very peaceful family friendly place to stay just down the road from the boardwalk.

Fantastic hotel on the beach. The pool is nice. The rooms are super clean; not even a hint of that musty smell common to beach side hotels. The king bed was phenomenal. I'm buying this mattress when it's time for a new one.

Very clean equivalent to plaza and spa down the road. (Stayed their last year) room safe, mini kitchen, table, all very nice. Upkeep inside and out excellent. Has nice pool and outside furniture. Plus they have a outside grill to use. Management and staff very good.

We love this place! Clean, well kept, spacious, great views… so what if it's older: newer doesn't always mean better (like we found out the hard way in this area). Just need to book thru the travel websites for a better rate haha.

Ocean front with excellent amenities. They recently updated the place and it was very comfortable also having things like a soda/snack machine and an ATM on site added that little touch of access you don't always find. Enjoyed our stay.

Booking online beware of very creative photography. Photos are not accurate, online states that motel is 1 mile from the boardwalk and it is more like 2, unless you really enjoy walking you would than have to drive and pay for parking once you get to the boardwalk or take a taxi for around $13.00 each way. If you ask for a ocean view you may be placed on the first floor with only a view of the pool. The oven and stove didn't work in the room. Room is not fully equipped like we were advised, just a frying pan and a pot. When they tell you that you can request a early check in they mean 3pm not early. Beds are like sleeping on the floor. Extremely firm mattress. Bathroom is very rustic. The walls are very thin and at 6:30 the banging started. Not a very enjoyable experience and not coming back.

Nice clean rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great view, great price. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting Daytona Beach. Will come back for certain.

My experience was great and the amenities were all there. Although I didn't have an ocean view, I was still able to have a balcony and see the ocean very clearly! I would definitely stay here again :)

Nice pool area, right off the beach. Unfortunately a little far from the boardwalk, but a nice little beach walk to get there. The rooms are accomidated with a kitchenette and small refridgerator for cooking. Well worth the stay.

We checked in here from a different hotel and was very surprised and pleased with our room. It was very clean and newly remodeled nicely. Have a nice pool and deck area and we have a stove, microwave, full size fridge with a walk in closet. Shower was roomy, and the couch was nice and comfortable AND although we didn't have ocean view we had a view of the ocean still. We loved it here and will return! Staff were great! My only recommendation is to put a fresh coat of paint on the outside to freshen it up.

We just got back from a fabulous Spring Break at our favorite gem on Daytona Beach! When you have teenagers, you need a budget friendly place that has everything. Great kitchenette, BBQ grill, patio table, oceanfront, minutes from everything. Can't wait until we come back for summer vaca!

We stayed here for the 24 hr weekend the people are very friendly and nice. It's right on the beach the two days we stayed here the sunrise was amazing. We came back Saturday night from the track it was pretty late we drove into the parking lot no spaces to park. I was going to run in to ask where to park the gentleman inside came out and said I saw you pull in and directed where to go. He told us every hour he goes out and walks around to make sure things are ok. Now that made me feel safe that they talks care of there customers. The rooms are pretty spacey nice large refrigerator. Sink. A standard stove, a table. Microwave. Patio is nice I sat out there just listening to that ocean.

Nice place, The place is remodeled. Great price like new room. I will be coming back soon. Absolutely appreciate it. Keep up the good work.

Great spot on the beach, but the people at the front desk were very rude and accused me of lying when I said there were roaches. Once I said there were roaches in our room they kicked us out and didnt want to give us a refund. We only got half a refund and ended up spending $117 for one night. It was a terrible experience and I don't recommend this motel to anyone. We even took a picture of the roaches and they still didnt want to believe us. One of the worst motel experiences I have had.

It was nice staying a 3 day weekend just a few things like the change machine in the laundry room took 5 dollars and the lady at the desk was really nice and gave it back and also the first night the ac leaked and the same lady put us in a beach front room she was awesome wish I could remember her name, and one more thing is I wish they had free breakfast but it still was really worth the stay wouldn't mind staying there again, thanks john.

Love this motel. Customer service is amazing. Rooms look just like the pictures online. Everyone was very friendly. Rooms aren't expensive. Great location! On the beach and near all the good bars, clubs, stores and restaurants.

Affordable beachside motel located close to the pier and many restaurants, bars, and other entertainment. A little dated, but kept clean and functional. Friendly staff, they even printed out my boarding pass!

I was very impressed! Especially for the price. I didn't even have an ocean view room but it was still great. Very pretty view if you do get the ocean view. Pool was very clean and nice as well.

I called and made my reservation at 2:30am. The gentleman who answered, Damien, was very friendly and helpful. He started my weekend out on my a positive note. When we got we to the Cove to check in it was fast and painless. We where pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very clean and facing the beach. We only has one problem and that was the people next door where extremally loud but the lady at the desk took care of it promptly. I will definitely be staying here again.

The room was nice and the staff very nice. However, people were smoking outside below our room (we were on 2nd floor — beach side) and the smoke was seeping into the room. However, the staff bent over backwards to help us out since we couldn't stay in a smokey room. Would probably stay again just because of that. It's an old hotel that seems drafty and needs some upgrades desperately.

Had reservations knew there was a storm hours went by no answer. Changed my reservation to americano.

Very well, the cooking plate would need to be changed. Air conditioning is a bit too cold. When we stop the air conditioning moisture in the room is very high. We stayed 09 days and found the staff very accommodating.

I have read a lot of reviews on this motel we loved it clean rooms and nice rooms staff very helpful and your right on the beach 2 thumbs up.

We checked in earlier today and so far it's been a really good experience. We got an oceanview room for $60 plus tax. Beautiful view and it's literally a minute walk to get to the beach. The rooms are decent, clean and amazing air conditioning.

In October 2007, we have in this "small" Motel and stayed the night. We have for the price of U. S. 67. — — incl. Taxes for a room with a sea view. That was absolutely great. We stayed two nights, but would have stayed longer. Very friendly service. Nice Pool. Clean rooms and very quiet. If we back to Daytona Beach, we will be sure to be back there waiting. Such a hotel room at the Mediterranean sea (Tuscany or so) would probably be well over 200€.
