This little gem lands right on the sand! The atmosphere is laid back just what I needed! Ms V was so friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable! The reef yards from the shore was great for snorkeling! Can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing. Its cozy, clean, quiet and convenient. Direct beach access with a private patio and roof deck. My home away from home, I come back every summer. The staff and Ms V (maintenance woman) are extremely accommodating and thoughtful. They go the extra mile to make your vacation your paradise.

What a find! Amall courtyard pool and direct beach access. Rooms are rustic, clean and cozy. A hidden gem. Could probably use some updating, but its patina is its charm. Tanya and staff very accommodating. We will certainly be back!

I wanted to add that we were contacted after leaving the initial review & that is a sign of good customer service! Much appreciated. Firts time staying here, we wanted a close location so we didn't have to rent a car. I have to say that my first impression of the place came when I received the email regarding all of the hotel policies and such. I read a line that stated, "housekeeping services is only every 3rd day of your stay. " At first I thought that was simply crazy as I am at the beach and everything is bound to get sandy in my room. However, I then thought, well maybe they provide extra towels and such due to this. Well, that would be a big NO! I understand wanting to cut costs, but I'm at the beach with sand and ocean water. I either want extra towels or housekeeping everyday & I shouldn't have to pay an extra $15/day for it. The room was somewhat cute, we had one of the balcony rooms which was definitely not fully remodeled. Our bed was terrible as everytime one of us moved it made a noise like it was going to fall apart. As we were able to see other rooms we became very jealous of the gorgeous pillow top mattresses and nice comforters they all had. We had a platform bed with a sheet and a not so nice blanket on it. My back was definitely not a happy camper for the 5 days I was there! The staff was friendly, Ms. V was awesome and the closeness to the beach was perfect. Would I stay again?

Miss V is well known for her hospitality. She gave us special treatment including access to toys for our toddler, extra towels, bug spray, and a history of the hotel, which was built in the late 1920's. Lauderdale by the Sea, as she explained is an old and tiny town which frowns upon big high rises. This hotel is a little gem with its own stretch of beach which you see as you enter the front entrance. The rates are very reasonable. No need to drive once you get there. You can walk to nice restaurants and entertainment a few blocks away. Also, there is a nice coral reef near the pier with some of the best snorkeling in the area.

I loved this place. Rustic european charm. Friendly staff. Can't wait to go again. Everything was in walking distance.

This place is great and the staff is amazing and friendly! The beach is absolutely beautiful and so is the pool. Bedrooms are good and price is good for the location. Will be coming back :) Bedroom 2 is perfect.

Great motel on the beach. Choose a renovated room for a great experience. Parking lot is very small with limited parking spaces.

What a gem! We had such a great time here, the beachfront room had the most amazing view. Small but so quaint and comfortable and in walking distance to pier, shops, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a nice hotel. It's not super fancy but it is about a 2 block walk to shopping and restaurants. I stayed in room # 8 which had a view of the ocean from my room. The balcony is tiny but it was still perfect for me. The bathroom is a little small but again for one person it was fine. The room had a coffee pot, microwave and a small fridge. The only negative thing I will say is there is no ice vending on the property. So bring your own ice and if you forget there is a gas station right around the block. There is a fishing pier near by which is nice to site see or fish open 24/7. When I come back for a visit I will definitely stay here again.

We had fun with a group of 6 rooms. Enjoyed this as our private Oceanside retreat. Not glamorous but clean, functional and nice staff. Privacy made it awesome.
