Horrible experience at this hotel. I was bitten by bed bugs, I sent an email to the manager, and corporate, notified the health department, sent my medical bills, and all photos and the hotel refused to pay and refused my refund. I woke up with burning, swollen, pussing, skin bites from this disgusting place. I still have scars and discoloration on my arms and legs. Will never stay at a Best Western again!

No one was behind the counter for at least six hours, leaving myself and several other unlucky people stranded outside of their rooms and unable to check in. Had to scramble to find another hotel nearby after an already tiring day and spend more money to get another room. Absolutely unacceptable and disappointing since Best Western is the hotel I usually chose. Definitely going to keep this event in mind the next time I travel.

Not the most hospitable staff. We ate and drank with our group in the lobby “breakfast” area at 9pm with our party of several rooms. The front desk person was more concerned with watching the basketball game on the TV and mad he couldn’t hear it. He was watching the TV while checking us in. And every door I’m the building sounds as if it is being slammed every time! Walls are paper thin. Can he the conversation in the room next to us.

Front counter staff could have been a little nicer, but great service for the money.

Under construction. Pool area has dead flowers. No restaurant /bar as stated. Rooms had an odor.

Amazing experience friendly staff made our stay complete. Helped us find the per way to spend the day. I wish our stay there was longer.

No discount for the crummiest room next to the lobby. Pool closes at 8 PM on the weekend in a beach city and could not get local channels for news and the front desk clerk said "sorry". Do not choose to stay here.

The quality of the room was good, however too many of the employees were apathetic and could not or did not care to answer simple questions. The shuttle ride from the airport was horrible, I waited over two hours and after more than an hour got a call that the driver was in traffic and had to stop for gas. The driver was apparently lost, as he got lost returning to the hotel. He stopped in the middle of the on ramp to check his GPS then he pulled to the side of the highway another time to set his GPS. He drove like a bat out of Hell, yet didn't know where he was going. When I complained to the manager and staff person at the desk they showed no concern and only said the driver was new and they would talk to him. If he had only been there a couple of days someone should have been with him to train him on the route. The driver was not courteous and ignored me to help the man who was also riding who had not been waiting two hours for his arrival. He also assisted this man first when getting off the van. Questions asked at the desk were answered in a curt manner with no information of value.

My boyfriend and I kept having to go to get our room key/cards fixed every single time we wanted to enter the room. It was a pain. The tables were sticky and even spots on the carpet. Other then that the room was well cleaned and was left with fresh clean towels each day we were there. Bed was even made nicely each day as well.

We liked our stay here. The shuttle pick up from the airport was a short wait. And free. Breakfast was good. The room and bed was very comfortable. And they arranged for the shuttle to take me to the cruise dock. A reasonable fee. And those drivers are very professional. Will recommend to anyone.

We stood there for 2 days with my family of 7. We stood here since it’s close to the Fort Lauderdale cruise port. The front desk was very helpful, rooms were spacious, the kids loved the pool and even found a cute little lizard swimming. They named her Lizzy lol. Breakfast was good and staff super nice! Thank you for a great experience.

It's a nice place for a stay. Staff is friend and the pool is good, as long as there isn't a lot of people in it because the pool isn't that big. Rooms a great for what they do, but a little outdated. Like the bed frames and t. V's. I recommend getting dough boys pizza they are delicious. I got them at 12:00 pm (they close at 2:00 am) and the delivery guy was friendly and he delivered our hot pizza to are room. Overall this is a good hotel.

This is the sorriest hotel the people are rude and unprofessional we call for a shuffle bus … 2 hours later in the rain they showed up … and when I call the hotel asking where the driver was the desk hung up on me 3 separate times my wife almost passed out waiting for the shuttle that was suppose to be there in 20 min… We will not be back to this hotel again.

Check in went perfectly fine. Anjelica was very accommodating and held our luggage (we arrived at 11 am). The issues started with departure. We were told that the shuttle came every hour on the hour and we did not have to sign up. However, when we checked out it was a completely different story. The man was rude and argued with us. He told us the shuttle had to leave and would not be back until 5 am. It was 345 am. He said the shuttle had to leave early but he refused to call the shuttle to see where they were. We needed to board our flight at 530 am and he told us it will be back at 5 am. Instead of calling the shuttle he argued with us. After I called uber and told him I was calling uber, he decided he would call the shuttle.

Terrible terrible service. After paying for a room for my sister (who had just gotten out of a hospital and didn't have her wallet) through expedia, they turned her away in the middle of the night, sick, because she did not have a credit card she could swipe, even though I had ALREADY paid and even though I offered over the phone to provide my credit card number. The front door clerk (I think his name was Teddy) was extremely rude, extremely unhelpful, and didn't seem to feel bad in the slightest that he was putting a sick woman out on the street. I've stayed in many hotels, including other Best Westerns, and have never seen service this bad.

Modern, clean and easily accessible building. Rates are affordable. We stayed here for 1 night before our cruise. They offer shuttles to the airport and cruise ports.

Excellent service, great, quiet rooms, spotless and staff so helpful with info on surrounding area. The pick-up at airport and transfer to port service was so organized. The lobby/breakfast area is a bit small, but does not impact the service.

If you are about to go on a cruise or are returning from one, the Best Western in Fort Lauderdale is good value for your money and is within a few steps of several fast food and other restaurants. A nice shopping mall is within easy walking distance. Nice rooms, good service and good experience with free shuttles to the docks and airport. Clean, comfortable, warm and very big room. OK breakfast. Was free with my room. Loved that I had a microwave and fridge in my room and central heating. Very close to all the shops. Was able to take a walk over and buy some things I needed. Only downside there is crossing the roads. Not very pedestrian friendly. All the shops are located near a busy highway. One thing that really put a dampener on my visit was a problem I had with shower. I called to get help a few times. I was hung up on by a very rude receptionist at front desk. Eventually the shower got fixed and had my shower at this point I needed to get out in time to have breakfast, check out and catch the shuttle for my connecting flight. I would say this place is good for a short stay but not particularly for a family holiday.

We found a few small cockroaches in our room, and the waffle batter at the breakfast was old. The waffles tasted sour. I've never had problems with any best Western. But I will definitely not stay in this one again.

The plus is definitely a cut above the standard best western. Very new modern. Clean and good atmosphere. Front desk was super helpful and great. Joseph went out of his way to make me feel welcome on arrival. Gave me some good advice in various questions. Overall a great experience.

Management and employees were wonderful! They were very helpful and provided good customer service. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The breakfast could use a little improvement, maybe some shredded cheese for the eggs. The hotel needs to have CLEAR, designated pick-ups at the airport especially since they share transportation with a few other local hotels during the day.

The breakfast was the best part of this property. Our main reason for staying was complimentary airport shuttle service. Van driver and front desk staff said they do not have the authority to change their service system. Shuttle supposedly only comes once an hour to airport although we waited an hour and twenty minutes to be picked up. Really poor service and the room needs renovation. I've seen bigger pools at friend's houses. Would not recommend this property. We watched the Hyatt van drive by multiple times — — try them.

While the hotel itself was nice: room was spacious, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable, within walking distance of a strip mall with places to eat… the reason for booking here was the airport shuttle, which was totally unreliable. I was told it departed every hour on the hour but when it showed up, late, the van itself only held 6-8 passengers. There was double the amount of guests waiting and the driver said he would be right back. The airport is 5 minutes away and 25 minutes later there was no sign of the driver and no response to repeated calls from the front desk. I asked for a cab to be called and he was there in less than five minutes. Decent place to stay, but be wary of the airport shuttle!

Very good hotel, I only stayed one night and noticed that if there is enough guest movement in the early morning product of the location of it being close to the airport, but you can rest well and feel at ease without problem.

Had a late check-in after 12 am. Happy desk attendeant was still there, but, when I walked in the room there was a roach crawling on the bed. The location is great for a 1 night stay if your flying or cruising the next day.

Room was comfortable, breakfast was good. Front desk personnel were overworked at the time of checkout and checking. Placed on hold for 20 minutes when I called from the airport to arrange a shuttle, had to call back and was told one would be coming — only a chance comment elicited the fact that the shuttle was label for Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express and not the Best Western. Did not know what shuttles were available to the port. Price was good for the quality of the room but don't count on much help/information from the staff regarding the community.

It was great, simple and easy. I enjoyed my stay there very much and will be looking to stay at Best Western more often when our family travels. The breakfast was fabulous as well, and helped us get out the door for our flight.

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very hard but I am use to a sleep number. Just stayed 1 night before our cruise. I would suggest the place to anyone. A couple of restaurants are close by. We ate at the Mini Pita and it was awesome.

This was a one night stay prior to a cruise. The room was very large and roomy! The shower was fantastic! Good water pressure and adjustable settings. Our carpet in the room was dirty, made my white socks black on the bottom. Had problems with the TV remote. We reported it, but it was not fixed after two tries and several hours. Breakfast was ok, but the waffle maker was broken. Hotel paid for our shuttle ride to the port due to the remote never being fixed and my husband being unhappy at check out! It was a nice hotel with McDonald's, gas station and grocery right next door!

Upon arrival the lobby was packed. Housekeeping was behind and a lot of rooms were not ready yet. Once our room was ready things were fine. Location of hotel was convenient. It was within walking distance to a number of restaurants and the Shuttle to airport was very appreciated. Overall a good experience.

When booking in person transaction was very smooth. Young lady help get a quicker room available. Room was clean, bathroom in order just onebig problem… My bagel had 4 spots of mold… I took a picture and left them a note.

Really nice staff and a great room. Perfect place for a stay while waiting to board a cruise ship. Free pickup from airport and a 12 dollar charge to take you to your cruise ship and to pick you up afterwards. Breakfast was pretty good. Fruits, cereals, eggs, sausage and waffles. They have a pool but I did not get in. I eould stay there again.

Room had no A/C, Drapery falling apart, water down Juice for breakfast, light switches not working properly, and no refund! This is owned by 'Laxmi Inc. ' Very very disappointed!

Very nice place. Actually not too expensive, very clean, and with a courteous staff. I will recommend it to price conscious customers who are looking for a nice place for short stay. It is conveniently located near shoping centers and restaurants.

Nice and clean. I left a tablet computer but housekeeping turned it in and I was able to retrieve it after my week-long cruise. Breakfast buffet was very good. I'd stay there again.

This hotel offers a shuttle to the airport which is why we stayed there. The lobby is very small plus there is a pool in the back (we didn't use it). It took awhile to get checked in as there was only one person at the front desk & she was on the phone for some time. The room was clean & met our needs as we were leaving very early the next morning. Also was able to park our car there rather than at the airport. Got a grab 'n go quick breakfast since we left before breakfast hours. Overall a decent experience to get to the Fort Lauderdale airport.

This was a very comfortable basic hotel, very convenient to dining and other venues. They have airport pickup, breakfast, and access to cruiseport shuttle. The room was quite comfortable, beds nice. Breakfast fairly basic, but gives you what is needed. No problems here at all. And a good value for this area as well.

Was sat outside waiting for my $8 cruise transfer writing my review using the free Wifi. Arrived about 8pm last night and was greeted by a friendly and very helpful receptionist. Room very spacious, exceptionally clean. TV, fridge, microwave, bathroom toiletries, enough clean towels and very good zircon. Sleep … good blackout curtains, comfy huge bed and better pillows that at home! Complimentary breakfast which was unexpected and very nice. Had a little sunbathe at the pool before we checked out and again the receptionist was polite and friendly. Great place for a stopover near to airport and cruise terminal, food and stores nearby too, overall very pleased.

Horrible experience on this leg of our trip. We stay here every year on our way down and back to Key West. I don't know what happened to the place since we last stayed but it really went downhill. Filthy room, sticky goo all over the desk, lousy VERY limited TV, phone didn't work, no air conditioning in the hotel except in the rooms, suffocating heat in the building once you leave the room, the staff could care less when you complain, respond with the obligatory "I'm sorry" but do nothing to correct the situation. If this is how a Platnium Best Western member is treated I would hate to see how the rest of the guests were treated. Worst Best Western experience we ever had.

This older Best Western hotel is very convenient to the Ft Lauderdale airport. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and a great shuttle service available almost any time. I was able to eat breakfast as early as 5:30am which was nice since I had to catch a 7:15am flight. The room as clean and comfortable, though not luxurious. I would stay here again.

The BW Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port is perfectly located for anyone arriving by plane as well as cruise passengers. The hotel was full to capacity with guests destined for various ships and cruise lines. Upon check-in, guests were requested to provide the ship and preferred time to take the hotel shuttle to the port. Coordinating all of these passengers the following morning was performed very efficiently and with little stress. The airport shuttle is free and the transfer to the port is $8.00 per person;; well worth the money. This is an older property but I must emphasize that it is extremely well maintained, and very clean. Would I recommend this property; without question.

First, we waited for our Shuttle at the airport for an hour, and find that the location of the hotel was 5 minutes away. The toom that was given to us smelled of mold.

Pretty clean, the first day my room was cleaned and restocked after a night but not the next two nights. Still pleasant. Not the best view in town however.

First the review: First thing we walked into was the smell of a toilet. Even though it was 2 AM when we checked in, you would have sworn the last guests used the toilet hard within the last 15 minutes. That smell didn't go away, so I assume it's in the building's veins. The hotel was lacking several amentities, including a water resistant shower curtain. Everyone in our 1 room limited the shower to 5 minutes because water just dumped through the cloth curtain. Floor was soaked. We would have loved to dry it, but Hotel provided 3 towels for the 4 adults sleeping. We just slushed it around and took off our socks before using the room. Beds seemed fine but were uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. With 5 hours to sleep, I think I had about 3 hours of it. Neck and back were killing me in the morning. Tip: Manager comes in at 10, and will dodge phone calls as long as he can. Triple check reservations, because he gives 0 cares about guests. Huge issue which is why you should not book here: Due to a booking error on Orbitz side, 2 rooms were booked instead of 1. After discovering this booking error at check in, I had two different front desk workers tell me they'd help me sort it out. In the morning, the front desk lady told me she didn't see the other room on my tab. Hoped it was fixed!

My wife and I have had nothing but trouble with this Best Western motel. In 2015, we waited outside the airport over 1-1/2 hours for their shuttle, despite phoning the front desk repeatedly. We finally took a taxi. Last March, we made a reservation months ahead to stay overnight for a cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale. Without telling us, they canceled our reservation and when we arrived about midnight, we had no room and this hotel and surrounding hotels were full (8 ships were leaving the next day). For a while, it looked like we would have to return to the airport and try to sleep somewhere there. Fortunately, the Best Western night clerk found another room nearby. We contacted Best Western customer service, but they offered no help to us. So we have decided to use up the 4 free nights at Best Western owed us and then to stay in motels other than Best Western. We have also stopped using our Best Western Master Charge card and plan to return our Diamond loyalty card to Best Western, because both are worthless!

As Always the management is Great! However, I jumped off the bed as a ROACH crawled almost through my head! I immediately called Front Desk and Ana the Front Desk Agent on duty made me feel as if I wasn't sure what a Roach was. I proceeded to ask Ana if I should bring the ROACH to her she was quick to say NO! Also the pool is NOT Heated At All! Yet it is advertised Heated Pool. I have been staying at this location for a while and for the high rate I am expecting for this location to Honor what they advertise. The breakfast can be improved as well, the fruits are not fresh specially the Oranges, during the surveys I always answer with honesty but Im a bit disappointed.

1 hour 40 minutes from airport to hotel waiting for the Free Shuttle 3 hours from PVD TO FLL. Then told to take a cab and get compensated. You failed Best Western You failed.

Cockroaches found in bathroom. Room smelled like mildew. Cockroaches wound up in our luggage and we took some home. Room 125. Don't stay here.

Decent price. Comfortable room. Decent free breakfast too. Staff was super friendly and nice. Great for a 1 night stay. One thing though the shuttle to the cruise is not free. Airport is free but not the cruises.

Best Hotel I have stayed in years. The staff is great and love the location. They also provide a shuttel to the airport or Cruise port.

The room stinks on the first day, after Mod, after I complained I was the room with chemistry, so cleaned the one in the room no longer could be stopped. There we no other rooms were, we had the night to leave. Daughter was so bad that you had to give! Credit card but was still charged. Motel is a no star value. It is not recommended.

Stayed at Best Western last week with my kids for vacation — excellent stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful regards to things to do in the area. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as well. Kids had a great time. Highly recommend this Hotel if you are traveling to the area.

I booked and paid for this hotel through Cheapoair but the hotel still charged me separately for the room. Every single time that I call the hotel to speak to the general manager, he/she is never in and does not return my messages left on the answering machine so that they can refund me my money of $500! In addition to that, one of the staff members who worked behind the counter had a bad attitude for no apparent reason. Also, the key for the room had to be reprogrammed just about everyday for some strange reason. I had a really bad experience and I will NEVER visit this hotel ever again.

Love this hotel, We cruise alot out of Miami/Ft Lauderdale and this is our go to place to stay. Very clean and friendly staff. Love the Airport pick up. Close restaurants you can walk to. Free breakfast before we go to the port. Also clean swimming pool. As a travel agent I refer All my clients who cruise out of Miami or Port Everglades to stay here. Great transfer to the Port as well best prices. I have personal stayed here 4 times in the last year Great each time.

The hotel was our pre — cruise night hotel, we choose it because of its proximity to Port Everglades. The only thing that I have to complain is that hotel shares the airport shuttle bus with other hotels in the area, shortly after arriving at FLL airport, we waited about 1 hour before the van picked us and other passengers. Overall the hotel was very nice, if your hungry there's a few restaurants including fast food restaurants, if you like a sports bar atmosphere Slackers is good food, and you if you need last minute stuff, a Winn-Dixie, is in the same shopping center. The Best Western charges $8.00 PP, for a ride to the cruise terminal. I recommend this hotel if you are planning a pre — night cruise hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Best Western last week and what a delight it truly was. Erica was our hostess to greet us. She is phenomenal and I hope you appreciate her presence in your establishment. We arrived way early, like (9a. M. ) she had such a beautiful smile and multi-tasked and made us feel very welcomed. We were able to check into a room shortly after noon, it was very clean and comfortable and quiet. This is the best place we have stayed in a very long time, Thank You for making us feel at home.

Dealing with the local people answering the phone was enough to tell me this place is not a good one to stay at, I call and call and the man picks up and say will you please hold, ive been on hold 30 min more than once today. Prick.

One of the first things I check out when booking a hotel is the pool. First question I ask staff is "What time can I use the pool until? " The staffer I spoke to upon arrival told me that in reality the pool closes at 10pm but was kind enough to let me in on a little secret. "We don't lock the pool area gate at night so use the pool at your leisure but please keep it quiet after 10pm" I both appreciated and respected this and for this reason alone, I recommend this particular Best Western to anyone. Room was clean and Continental Breakfast was nice. Overall, a very nice stay.
