We made the reservation for 5 people. After checking in and getting into the room there was a king size bed and a twin size pull out couch. We called front desk who informed us that that was enough beds for five people. We kindly requested an additional bed and received it. Outside of the slight strange odor in the room the stay was quite unremarkable. This hotel was pet friendly and that's why we chose it.

Clean, well kept, quiet despite animals being allowed in. Secure doors to all sides of building and multiple access points for ease of getting back to your own room. Bathrooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Will return.

Rooms are very clean. And the staff was wonderful as well we checked in on Friday about 630 pm and was greeted by a lady I don't remember her name but she was friendly and welcoming and I thought as many times that we rent rooms and paid much more we travel alot I just was thinking all hotels should treat guests like family. It's their business. We loved it there and we go to Tampa alot so we will always use La Quinta from now on the best is the prices very reasonable. And the breakfast was great to.

Nice place at a good price. The breakfast is nothing to get up early for. Comfortable beds and nice size restrooms. Will probably stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice, spaceous and clean. Huge bathroom with a lot of counter space. Small closet with hangers, ironing board and iron. Room came with a mini fridge, coffee pot with coffee cups. I love the fact that the room had a body mirror as well. There's also a desk with a chair as well as an extra chair for company. Large window with curtains to keep the sun out as well as drapes to let the sun shine in ever so gently. Their complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Great choices of fruit, yogurt, toppings, orange juice or apple juice, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs and toast. Pool area was lovely. Seen a contraption in the pool area for senor citizens and one or the jacuzzi as well. Nice canopy next to the pool area why comfy chairs and a ceiling fan. I would definitely stay at any La Quinta. The only problems I had was with customer service at the front desk. Attendant was asking uestions that wasn't apart of her job, which caused some back and forth. Clearly she doesn't know the customer is always right.

We traveled here 3 years ago with our family for a trip to Universal Studios. Recently we had to come again due to a family situation, the young lady that was working when we arrived at 1am was amazing. We are currently staying here now and will be leaving in the next few days but we enjoyed the room upgrades, and the Continental Breakfast as well.

Everything was fine till last day in hotel! They falsely accused us of smoking in our room and kicked us out at 12:30am when we got back from visiting our friend with cancer! Our flight was leaving in 3hrs and they made us leave. The staff is useless and impossible. The GM Richard is a complete moron! Thinks he's a detective! I know no one has any reason to believe me, but this guy called me a liar and said that he had evidence of us smoking in our room. Now you mean to tell me that 4 40 year old adults were smoking in our room and it doesn't smell like smoke but u have proof. Just because it smelled like smoke in the hallway doesn't mean that it came from the room with a carton of cigs. The whole place smelled like cigs and pot! We know because we went outside every time! Plus we can't stand the smell of it on all of our stuff! Get your facts right! IF THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN THEY ARE IN THE WRONG BUSINESS! At the very least I should have gotten a phone call! We left at 10 am and got back at 12:30am THIS IS A PRETTY BIG WINDOW TO AT LEAST LET US DEFEND OURSELVES OR AT LEAST MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS BEFORE WE HAD TO SCRAMBLE FOR OUR PLANE! This was our schedule the whole 4 days! We weren't even in our room but to sleep most of the time! You get the point! FUNNY THING, RENTAL CAR FROM THE AIRPORT DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS! HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Our first at the La Quinta and we are definitely coming back. I recommend them 100%… Cleanliness 5⭐, Hospitality 5⭐, Breakfast 5⭐. The staff was so nice and respectful. Our check in wasn't til 3pm and we showed up a couple hours early just to make sure we had the correct place and they were so nice and actually had our room already done and together. Loved the whole atmosphere. Amazing.

My husband and I have been traveling for a week here in Florida and we have stayed in hotels every night and La Quintana and Hampton Inns are are the best we have found we will be looking for them from on. Their staff is so helpful and friendly.

We stay at La Quinta because we travel with. Dog. I thought this was pricey when booking, but it is more akin to Marriott. Big rooms. Very nice staff. Pool and hot tub look nice, but raining the day we were there.

Room was okay, but there was almost no water pressure in the shower and I had to duck to get under the shower head and I'm only 6'1. Little interaction with the staff, so can't comment there. Breakfast was decent eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit.

Clean property and nice staff. Central location and rooms are remodeled. That being said if you are staying in odd number room near back of building you will hear highway traffic. I have stayed at hotels near the airport that had less noise. A/C unit was a bit on the noisy side but on the plus side it help to drown out traffic noise. It was a one stop on a business trip but more than likely would not be back due to noise level.

This hotel was great! Clean, quiet and worth the money. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was nice too.

Friendly staff. Updating the hotel which looks great. Work obviously going on but it doesn't matter. Tea/coffee/water available all the time in lobby. Charging facilities in lobby. Really quick Wi-Fi in rooms.

First floor being renovated. Our room on 3rd floor is refurbished… very nice. No paint odors. Staff very friendly. Close to mall.

Nice room, clean, good TV, breakfast was easy. Ground floor musky smelling, 3rd floor was fine.

I really enjoyed our stay. The service is impeccable, our rooms stayed clean, the people at the front desk are nice, friendly, and helpful, I would probably return. The only reason I say probably and gave it four stars is because there's very little to choose from by way of breakfasts. I've stayed here for three days and they've had, to the best of my memory, peach, raspberry, and strawberry yoghurt, bananas, apple, orange, three different kinds of little muffins, waffles (like any other hotel), coffee, hot water, two kinds of sliced bread, two kinds of bagles, a toaster, two kinds of cream cheese, butter, corn flakes, bran, cheerios, and milk. I was really hoping for some eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. All I had the three days were muffins, yoghurt, fruit, and bagles. If there were a few more choices for breakfast, I'd give it five stars.

Nice place. Near to several shopping places, AMC etc. Hotel is under renovation, but old rooms are also not that bad. Front desk people are super nice and helpful.

I spent three days and two nights here for my grandfather's 100th birthday. The first night there was a loud party with lots of people and lots of weed. Cool if that's your thing, but I needed to sleep! Second night (the pot party got kicked out, so they listen to complaints) I had three parties around me: one across the hall, one next door, and one above me. I heard loud pounding multiple times because someone got locked out of their dang party… Don't let the posters of the continental breakfast fool you, their entire spread is as follows: Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, coffee/orange/apple juice, three varieties of cereal. That's it. Head to the nearby Panera Bread for something more filling. Their vending machine had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit at least…

Stayed at La Quinta during hurricane Irma. They hotel staff were very nice and helpful. We didn't even hear the storm outside! They beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a handicap room with roll-in shower. No problem getting in the bathroom with my wheelchair. The only downside was the side entrance into the hotel has ramp with an incline to the door that is too steep. Also, We held our reservation with one credit card, but changed it to a different one at check in. They charged the rooms to the original card. Otherwise everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

I loved it. Bed was amazing, I never wanted to leave it. Employees were helpful and friendly and the other guest were cool too. Had a great time.

We rented 2 rooms, a King Suite and the other had double beds. As soon as I walked in starting having nasal and skin allergies. The double beds room had no fridge, which was needed. Sheets stained, other than that it was decent. In the King Suite, it smelled like if that room hasn't been rented in a very long time including the bed and pull out couch mattress sheets. Fridge had a little bit of dried food and not so good smell. We've stayed at other La Quinta and expected the same quality as the others. We decided to stay because we already had booked it for Labor Day weekend. Next time, I'll think twice about staying here.

The hotel is clean, but does show it's age a little. I would stay here again if in the area. The staff was friendly. One thing I really like is that you can sit at the desk and work on your laptop while watching the computer. Why aren't all hotel rooms set up this way for business travelers? The location is good — right off I-75 and there are lots of restaurants around. The breakfast is pretty standard fare for a free breakfast buffet, nothing special. In the room I had there was a long crack in the floor tile in the bathroom and some preliminary paint above the shower.

We stayed there while traveling with our dog. Good proximity to Ybor city, which made it very appealing. One of the nicer LaQuintas we've stayed at. The room was very clean Ann's the accommodations comfortable.

I have gone to this hotel for drop off and pick up my father-in-law. Appearance is clean and presentable.

I love La Quinta because I often travel with my dogs. Like a majority (if not all) this location also has zero pet fee for up to 2 pets per room. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Had a quiet, solid nights sleep.

This is a good hotel to stay at and my 3 nights here were great. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the housekeeping staff was very friendly as well and very polite by knocking and asking me what I needed instead of coming in everyday because they knew I was staying there awhile and didn't want to disrupt my stay by cleaning my room everyday. The hotel was very clean as well as the rooms/bathrooms and I didn't notice anything that hadn't been cleaned in my room. The bed was very comfy too. It's nice that they are a pet friendly hotel as I had my dog with me so he got one of the two beds in my room to himself which he loved lol. Some of the other quests on my floor were being loud and disrespectful at times usually in the nighttime by constantly slamming their doors every 5 minutes just about for reasons I don't understand completely, and yelling in the hallway at 10 at night, but that's not the hotels fault at all, they obviously can't control what their guests will do. But I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I knew who needs a hotel for the night!

The room was clean, check in was easy and clerk was nice. When we were checking in we asked for a quiet section. He said the hotel is full tonight so he was not sure how quiet it would be. It wasn't. Way too much activity ALL night. Loud TVs, talking, etc.

Very quiet. Good location. Almost perfectly centered from attractions from Bradenton to N. Tampa. 1 hour to Orlando, and 1 hour to St. Pete/Clearwater beaches. Needs some updating but if you're just looking for best price and location then it's great.

This room was great, clean and great bed. My husband snores badly and my daughter and I suffer usually when sharing hotel rooms. The separate room with pocket doors is fabulous. Slept like a dream on a cloud. Also my dogs love it too! Location of room to back elevator really convenient. Thank you we will be back!

Yet clean and spacious hotel. Only saw the front lobby, and a conference room. The only drawback is the it's kind of hard to find ended up parking next door to the other hotel. La Quinta is set back further from the road.

Room and common areas were clean & orderly. Staff was cheerful & helpful. We had two dogs which were well received by personnel. Hot breakfast was good but lacking scrambled eggs, meat, gravy & biscuits. Overall good experience. Will come again.

This hotel is conveniently located near Brandon mall and lots of stores and restaurants. The rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub are well maintained.

Was checked in quickly. Got a phone call from the front desk when I was actually got into my room asking if I needed anything which was nice. The room was nice and clean. Parking was no problem especially since I was in a large vehicle.

If was a huge hassle getting checked in and I found that the info provide was wrong. The suite was spacious but really needs to be updated (especially the bathroom).

Quaint hotel. Rooms are accommodating for most practical needs. Located amidst plenty of shopping and restaurants!

Pretty good location, hard to find staff at times, breakfast was subpar. All in all a decent place to crash, not much else. Didn't try the pool, it looked nice though.

This is a decent La Quinta. It has a spacious foyer, friendly staff, and it's always clean. It's perfectly located next to a large strip mall with plenty of food and shipping options, and an Imax theater. They have the usual continental breakfast and optional mini fridges in the rooms. Our company uses it for trainees and the trainees always have good feedback on the hotel. Definitely one of the better La Quintas, and certainly the best one of the two in Brandon.

The hotel was clean and convenient. Staff could have been a little more accommodating, especially the younger front desk staff girl was incredibly rude. But overall satisfied.

Needs a bit of updating but good overall quality.

I am shocked anyone gave this hotel a high rating. We scheduled two nights there, but it was so nasty and run down we left after the first night. Our room had rust on all of the hinges, the mattress in the pull out sofa was soiled from a dark brown liquid, the carpet was so nasty that after being barefoot for ten minutes all our feet were black, and there were cracks in the ceiling. Everything in the gym was rusted and covered in dried sweat. This place is a public health hazard. I was so appalled that I took pictures in case anyone from the hotel contacted me… which they didn't. This is what I would expect at a $19 a night hotel, not $90 a night hotel.

Been there 10 times. Great value and great night sleep! The Best location, walk to shops, restaurants, movie theatre and starbucks!

My week stay was great. Only downfall… There is no fridge and microwave in room.

Was good for the night we stayed there.

Wanted a nice room. Splurge. Got it. Friendly ppl. Kitchenette. Asked if I needed anything for the kitchen. Which I did not. Husband had been in an accident and needed extra pillows. They jumped right on it. No complaints at all.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here 3 nights in november. I am back again for a 1 night stay. Ive never had a problem here. That being said, there are things I expect when I stay at a hotel that this fails. Free daily paper or USA Today? Nope, dont have it. Vending/ice easily accessible? Nope, not available on all floors. Express checkout? nope, see the desk clerk on your way out please. These are all minor, yet surprising failures. The last thing, I have now spent 4 nights in the last 45 days here. Although the hotel seems in a nice area, why are there Latino men drinking beer in the parking lot EVERY NIGHT? I thought this to be odd. Drink in your room maybe fellas? There are worse hotels out there, but for the miney, its clean, safe and a dry place to rest your head.

Will not give my money to rude people with no heart.

Now I'm just a country boy, and usually try and get the cheapest hotel I can find, but I was very pleased with the staff, facilities, and rooms at this location. To the person that couldn't pay for the hotel for your friend, they make a new thing called Western Union. To the hungover person that couldn't sleep till 11:00. We put up the do not disturb sign and had no issues.

Has 1 washer and 1 dryer.

My friend had an emergency and needed a place to stay right away. She had no money. I was out of town in another state, so I called and asked if I could book a room for my friend. They said no problem, I just needed to be by a fax machine and fill out some paper work. I told them I'm not near a fax machine but I could be by one in the morning. Could my friend stay the night and we handle the fax in the morning? They said "Sure thing, no problem. " So I gave them my credit card info. But when my friend got there, they pretended like they didn't know what she was talking about. They said it must have been the other La Quinta nearby. She gave them the last four digets of the number I called "0574. " They said that's the other La Quinta. But it wasn't the other La Quinta! She went to the other one, then back to the right one again (this first one). My friend informed me of her troubles, so I called back. This time, however, they pretended like I never called before. They pretended like I didn't know what I was talking about. I checked my phone records, and I am not mistaken. This is the La Quinta I called. I talked a "supervisor" named Debbie. Debbie was a very rude and unsympathetic person. Debbie claims that I never called (even though my call log shows I did). Debbie claims I didn't talk to anybody (I did though). Debbie said that she couldn't make an exception, if I wasn't by a fax machine, I couldn't get book the room for my friend.
