This is my second stay here. Great location off the highway. Friendly and helpful staff. I only wish that the lighting in the room was brighter. Other than that I will definitely stay here again.

Poor from check-in to check-out. Arrived after 3, which is the posted check in time, and room was not ready. When I was told it wouldn't be ready for another half hour, I asked what I should do while I wait. I was told "whatever you want". Good customer service would be to offer a drink at the bar while I wait or some compensation — not a comment like that. The room was in bad repair. Wallpaper coming off wall, spiders in ceiling corners, mold in bathroom and by air-conditioned. There was a jet tub in the room. When using it solely as a shower the tub faucet would continue to run and drained too slow. Children playing hide and seek in the halls in the evening. Children squealing, laughing, jumping etc past 10 pm at night. I had to call front desk after 11 pm, which did reduce the noise. No money fridge in the room but one was delivered promptly. Hoping for some better customer service at check out but I was not even asked how my stay was.

Blood in the bed. My daughter was going to sleep in the fold out bed in the couch. When we opened the bed up it still had pillows and sheets from the last people in the room. The pillows, sheets and the bed were covered in BLOOD. Thank God my daughter didn't touch them. This is disgusting and is beyond words. The cleaning people in this hotel all need to be fired on the spot. What type of disease's could me and my daughter have caught because they don't know how to properly clean a room. This hotel needs to be inspected by the board of health. Their were stains on the carpets and walls. It is disgusting.

Spent one night here. The hotel looks very nice. The issue I had was our bathtub wasn’t clean and the bed was not comfortable at all. Stayed up most of the night tossing and turning in pain! I just thought that for a very nice suite priced at almost $200 the bed would be more comfortable. Also the “breakfast” in the morning was worst than one I would get at a cheap hotel.

Friendly, well kept, helpful. Very nice upscale hotel. We got a great deal on pricing and were very pleased. We were under an incredible amount of stress due to waiting for our home to be finished. The pool and Jacuzzi were exactly what we needed also very clean.

Happy from start to finish! The hotel is clean and stylish. The staff were more than happy to help and have been accommodating in every way. They're friendly and efficient and extremely professional as well. The hotel is conveniently located to local attractions. This is my second stay and it won't be my last!

Really nice place for an excellent meal, the chef's special was amazing. A bit pricey, but I feel like it was a good value in terms of food quality and service. I would recommend it for a special night out.

Beautiful hotel! They have an option to request an earlier check-in time so I selected 1pm (typical check in is 3pm) I had to keep calling back to see if I could check in at that time because no one could answer me. FINALLY, the day of (after calling 3 separate times) they let me know I could check in at 2pm. We ordered room service for breakfast to be delivered at 9:30am. At 9:40 I called dining services and they had no record of my order. The woman Chelsea apologized and said she would take care of it herself and not charge me, which was nice. The air conditioning worked but you could not change it at all. After we checked out, my credit card statement was charged an extra $45 and when I called they said it was standard and that it would come off, which it did, but it would have been nice for someone to let me know that a head of time. Overall, very nice hotel, just some irritating issues that could have been resolved with some good customer service.

The stay this property was okay. The check in process was easy and very quick. The staffs were professional and mostly courteous. The information provided about the property was very detailed and the desk clerk was able to answer all of my questions. While I didn't take advantage of the many amenities offered, my understanding is that there were plenty. I was disappointed that the website noted free breakfast and the clerk mentioned that my reservation didn't qualify for the breakfast because it was booked through an online website. Bummer, but I get it! The hotel check out was also great and quick. They also accommodated me with a late check out with no problem. Now, the property is another thing… It was clean and well kept. My room was pretty clean too. However, the air didn't work very well; it was quite warm even with the temperature turned down. Also, the bathroom was poorly ventilated. There was no exhaust fan and I had to wait for the steam to clear after a shower before doing my hair and makeup. When I finally did my hair, it wouldn't "do right" because of the humidity in the room from poor ventilation and bad AC system. Finally, the lighting was extremely poor for doing makeup. It was a bit of an annoyance as I was preparing to go to a wedding, though I didn't have the time to talk with staff and request another room. I only stayed one night!

Very nice hotel with cozy lobby areas and huge, comfortable rooms. The suites have soaking tubs and separate shower, and unlike most rooms where you have to squeeze into the bathroom, you can have a dance party in the suite bathroom! Suites have microwave and refrigerators and room safes. Staff was incredibly friendly, and parking was easy and plentiful. It probably helps that there isn't much around the hotel. So if you're looking for nightlife experiences, this isn't your hotel. But if you are looking for a large and comfortable rooms with a self-contained environment, this is the place to stay in Wilmington.

Booked hotel for my daughter’s graduation for a 2 night stay. Had stayed there 3 times before without any problems. This time we were on the Club floor which is an upgrade. The room was not cleaned for the 2 days we were there. I had to take the wet towels into the hallway and chase down housekeeper for clean towels. The TV reception is terrible. There was no pay movie channel. Can’t check out on tv. On the plus side, they gave us 2 bottles of water and the bathroom didn’t smell from mildew.

Just came for an interview for a company that rented a venue here. Everything looked very nice though. Nice big bar in the middle of the main entrance after you pass the reception desk.

Hotel is clean. Staff is helpful. Horrible housekeeping. They clearly use their green policy as an excuse for not doing their job. If you don't request it, they won't service your room AT ALL. Complete nonsense. Breakfast buffet is a joke. Completely overpriced.

Meeting room was spacious. Food from the bar was very good. A little pricey compared to what I'm used to, but good food.

One of the managers was fairly cold and rude, but one of the ladies behind the desk was sweet as pie. The room was nice, but the place is a maze. The road to get there is kind of out of the way and the lake nearby floods regularly. We went to grab breakfast and we handed a bill even though breakfast was included in our price for the room. Didn't matter though, the nice lady at the front desk took care of it. Showers are unpredictable, btw.

Took my wife here for her birthday. Definitely a great night spent for a brief getaway. I checked in as it was a surprise. The front desk staff saw the note that it was my wife’s birthday on the computer. Was pleased with the fact that they got the note from reservations. The club lounge had a decent selection of h’vuderves in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. Having milk and chocolate milk a big plus for families/guests with children. Had the bbq chicken wings and chocolate lava cake. Was pretty good! Overall a good experience. Minus one star as the rooms and overall hotel could use a makeover/upgrade (it feels dated).

Posted below is the verbatim comment which I submitted to Sheraton after our stay. In response they offered me a few "points". About a month later the GM sent me an email stating he wanted to talk to me about the stay. We set a date and time and I called him but he did not answer; left a voice mail which was never returned. This property is in pretty bad shape. If you can get the Hilton you will be much better off. I wanted to provide some feedback regarding our stay in the presidential suite on 12/26 and 12/27. First the price had increased from $499 in 2016 to $700 in 2017. Considering that other hotels like the Hilton still charge around $500 for double rooms, this is quite a premium, and at nearly 50% year over year seems out of line with normal price increases. However we did agree to the rate because the room was nice and there were a few amenities. When we arrived there were no coat hangers in the entry hallway closet so we had to go hunting for them and eventually found a few, although not enough for all of us. A small inconvenience, but when you spend $700 a night for a room you have an expectation that things will be right. We went to set up the pull out couch and found there were no linens in the room. We called housekeeping who brought blankets and sheets but no pillows. However, upon opening the pull out couch we found peanuts, hairpins, sequins and other items, so we decided to forget the pullout and have the kids sleep in our bed.

This place is extremely dirty. I, like many other reviewers, thought to give it a chance despite prior comments about overall cleanliness. I had to change my room 2x, the first due to a weird white stain in multiple spots on the carpet and pieces of furniture. The second because of a used contact lens left on the TV remote and a dirty toenail, found near the bed — all while the shower didn’t drain. I travel every week for work, and I am very familiar with what I can expect from a hotel of this price. I certainly have come to expect more from Starwood.

I had visted here many years ago and stayed 2 nights and wasn't impressed with service or accommodations. However, it's clear that many changes have been made and my latest experience was very pleasant. My room was clean and housekeeping and front desk staff cheerfully and efficiently fulfilled my requests. Service with a smile :)

Have stayed here two different times. The lobby is very nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms on the other hand could use some updating. One room had a bathroom that was almost falling apart. Not dirty, but is serious need of small repairs. Also, the window AC/heat unit would not turn off, so had to call maintenance. The next stay had a room with another window unit. This time the issue was the bedroom was either too hot or too cold, as the front room did not have adequate air flow from the bedroom. Overall a decent hotel, with no major issues. The location leaves a lot to be desired though, with nothing near by.

My experience of this hotel is limited as I only went there for a meeting. I did not stay over or eat in the restaurant but I want to say I was impressed with the lobby area. Some colleagues stayed for lunch after the meeting and I wish I could have, too. Lovely and cozy-looking place. And if the rooms are as nice as the whole first floor, then I would love to have the chance to stay over. I will say it's right off I-95, which is convenient, but a bit in the middle of no where. This being said, it is very convenient to the Christiana Mall and the traffic to get there is almost non-existent, but you've got to have a car if you stay here as there is nothing within walking distance/convenient walking distance. Ample parking in what is the rear of the building, but not a lot of parking in the front or close up to the building. Good luggage carts, I will say; and if you travel much, you know how frustrating a bad luggage cart can be… Overall, my impression of this hotel is a good one.

Location was great; quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room service far surpassed my expectations in food quality and service. Definitely a fan of this location, and I will be staying again the next time I'm in the area — without a doubt!

It was a nice hotel, however cleanliness could have been improved. There was stains all over the floor And it could use a good clean. Other than that food was great and it's a beautiful hotel!

Location is ideal. Right off the exit of 95s. Rooms are very nice and we'll kept. Though I did notice a lack of dusting bear the ceiling. Service has been great and have accommodated us well!

Great accommodations. Enjoyed the amenities. Love the look of the building and its well thought out open layout. The addition of the fire pit is a nice touch and makes this place rather cozy. Highly recommend.

Bathroom floor looked like it hasn't been mopped in months. Stains on bedding. Sound proof room my butt! Horrible nights sleep with slamming doors and hearing people above. Booked club suite for the living room and nope didn't have it. Looked like a standard room. Will never stay here again or recommend it either! Bed were also not so luxury either!

Great great place. There were a few mishaps which weren't deal breakers for me. This isn't so much the hotel as it is the township but the main road leading to and from the hotel was flooded majorly and watching people drive through it with water almost up to their windows was not cool. But like I said not the hotels fault. As for the actual hotel… wonderful stay. Clean rooms. Easy climate control system which means alot to me because most hotels are ominous with climate control systems. The only thing that was odd me was some power outlets didn't work. Not too sure about that. Oh and I cannot forget… contrary to free belief their Wi-Fi is terrible. It must be dial up. But overall good place, super clean, and great staff.

Very nice clean hotel. The hotel is strict on noise rules and we loved it. Looking over the marsh was a nice view. The Sauna was big, compared to small circular ones, with powerful jets. The indoor pool veer clean.

My family and I were driving home from a vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. After 12 hours of driving we were all extenuated and were looking for a place to crash. I wasn’t looking forward to another Best Western or Holiday Inn, I mean, they barely rank above motel. We’re driving when I spot a road sign saying Sheraton and I was elated. I remembered my stays at the Sheratons in Niagara Falls, Toronto and Montreal… all Triple A experiences. Great beds, great rooms and great service. So I quickly took the exit and went to this Sheraton. Walked in and boy was it nice. I get to the front desk and ask for a room for 5. I get offered a room with 2 KING SIZED beds. No longer elated, I was jubilant. After a week of sharing a double bed with my GF – i. E. Tight quarters, a king sized bed sounded like a vacation onto itself. Plus the 3 kids could share the other bed and have plenty of space to spare. The price was “legit AF” to boot. We get to the room and all my expectations were crushed. First, there were no King sized beds, there were no queen sized beds either. Only 2 regular double beds. I call the front desk. We can’t have a roll-away so that one of the girls can have it so that they don’t end up stacked together. The front desk manager never apologised for screwing me and my family over. Since we’re dead tired, we live with the situation, because we have to hit the road at 6 in the morning. But that’s not all. The bathtub has mildew on the seams.

This is the second time I booked here and had issues with my room and people at the front desk, last night I arrived only to be told that the room I booked no longer exists and that if I wanted to stay I would have to upgrade to a suite at an additional charge or find another location to stay at … even though I booked and confirmed my room. But instead of the headache I paid for the upgrade which was supposed to come with a complementary breakfast only to be told that I wouldn't receive it because it only shows my initial rate and not that I paid for upgrade even though I called the front desk from the upgraded room, the lady at the front desk laughed and said well you can come down and pay for your breakfast if you like… no help. No remedy and very unprofessional, except for Ron who helped me check in and get the mix up in rooms straight 6-21-17

Oddly located hotel, but overall very nice venue for a wedding. The outdoor terrace overlooks a wetland that makes for a picturesque background. The ballroom was beautiful and the service staff was attentive. The front desk employees were also very friendly when I needed to make a local phone call. The grounds seemed well maintained and clean.

Overall this hotel was very nice. The decor was beautiful and the front desk people were very helpful! The pool and hot tub were obviously well cleaned and looked after. They also had a gorgeous outdoor area. The rooms were clean and pretty updated. My only beef was the kitchen staff. We ate here many times because we didn't have a rental car and almost every time the experience was tedious! It took a minimum of 30-45 minutes between every step of the way! From drinks to ordering to check. It took forever and they were rude! Even when we were the only people there! Twice someone from the front desk had to be our server because the real one was nowhere to be found! The food was good too but the awful service became annoying. This would be a 5 star review if the kitchen staff actually did their jobs. So just beware. The hotel shuttle would be more than happy to take you to a restaurant outside of the hotel.

I been willmington once a month for work, first time chose this hotel, I am really regret to chose here. Customer service horrible! For the bed sheet is no clean! I think they recycle this towel bed sheet stuff never sterilize, I feel skin ich and red after just took shower and using their towel!

Focus Here! This is a really bad hotel! The front lady really rude! They got race discrimination, because I cannot speak English much, she yelled at me. I spend money right there, but they bring me to the very dirty room! I found out a little sticky condom under my pillow…

I'm a delivery driver, the hotel staff was real nice to me. They helped me find my customer and even gave me an apple! Very exciting.

This is a nice place. I was there for a work function. The space was nice, all linens on the tables were clean. While the food was nicely plated, the portions were a bit small and the food could have been seasoned better. Overall it was nice and I'd recommend using the space for events.

These people are purely evil to their staff. My friend just called me and expressed pain and frustration each housekeeping staff is given 20 rooms to clean @ $8 per hour and they must buy their lunch at the newly increased rate. They talk to them like animals and force them to wear a despicable tan uniform that looks like something from a slavery plantation. I am praying for a deliverance as my friend has limited options nowadays. Every day someone walks off the Job. This is illegal to be overworking these poor young women for less than 30 hours a week with no benefits. Thats not even full time $8 ph and 20 rooms to complete in a regular shift. This is SLAVERY! is this even legal?

Erin and everyone at the Sheraton are amazing. They made our wedding on March 25 absolutely beautiful better than we could've ever imagined! We never had to ask for anything leading up to the wedding and especially not on the wedding day itself. Also have to mention their chef he is awesome! My husband and I went to many tasting to get the menu perfect and he had so many wonderful choices for us. The food was delicious we are still getting compliments from our guest on it. Thanks again everyone for making our day absolutely breathtaking.

The room was beautiful-tall ceilings, ornate furnishings, and plenty of room. We stayed at the Sheraton Wilmington for a very affordable rate and enjoyed resting in such a nice place after traveling so long. Highly recommend.

I stay at this hotel sometimes for business. First of all, it is a nice hotel, but they built it practically on top of I-95 with little soundproofing. Last night I stayed there, and they first put me on top of the Ballroom where they decided to have a Church concert, where the floor was practically shaking, then they put me in a room that stunk like cigarette smoke, and then put me a few rooms up, STILL on top of the concert, and were not very responsive about moving me. I finally moved hotels because the racket was intolerable. To put one-time events over your business customers that stay there every week is just not good business. If you expect peace and quiet and are bothered by super-loud highways or guests-I wouldn't recommend staying here. Otherwise-it is a nice hotel.

We just recently stayed at this location. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The beautiful open lobby was so welcoming when you enter. Easy access on and off 95.

Excellent hotel. Breakfast was a bust but the dinner made up for it. My fiancée and I attended a wedding at this hotel and everything was superb! Only complaint, one guest had a party in their suite next to my room until 3 p. M. In the morning. Management didn't address issue right away until I threaten to call the police.

I appreciated the free parking. I mean, this hotel has the best free parking I've ever seen. I cried at least 6 times every time I went to park there. Out of the hotels I have stayed at in the Wilmington and Philadelphia area, I am confident that this has been the best SPG property I have stayed at (among the Sheraton Suites Wilmington, Le Meridien and Westin and Sheraton in Philly). 1. The Service and quality of the staff have been outstanding in the almost year I have stayed here. 2. The rooms and cleaning staff have always been top-notch 3. The Club Lounge is always well stocked with beverages. Just fantastic. This place has been my second home and I have felt that way the entire time.

Went for wedding anniversary and had a great time. The breakfast was amazing. The cook really put his foot in it. Just great.
