Great ambiance, Riverside tables… best Margaritas ever and the food was excellent. If you are lucky you may get Christy for your server. She has a wonderful personality and even created some of the menu items.

Amazing food, great staff, cool setting.

From the owners to the employees, this place rocks! The staff gives you the feeling of the Cheers sitcom. If they don’t Know your name when you’re walking in they will know it when you’re walking out! Try the margaritas, they are awesome. I’ve had almost everything on the menu since living in Minturn for 20 years and I can’t say there is anything I haven’t liked. In the winter, the open fireplace rages so get a good seat in front of it. In the summer I would recommend their patio. I hardly ever eat in their dining room but many a good party has been had there. Definitely a place to go if you are traveling through no matter the season!

Super tasty and unusual. The mixed grill was great — quail, duck, and ribs with various tex-mex sauces. The sopapillas were a nice light desert to finish things off. Good margaritas, too.

Great place to visit. We have made it a destination every time we are in the area. Cool historic salon without the faux trapping found in neighboring towns — — with (always) very friendly staff. It is a fun place! We will be there again as soon as possible!

I love this place so much! Such a fun spot with great service (shout out to Dana! ) And the food is always killer. Quail and enchilada are what I live for and the margaritas are awesome.

Love this place. I always look forward to stopping by for some of their great food and atmosphere whenever we're in Colorado for ski trips.

We always stop by when in Vail area. Love the old saloon atmosphere combines with after-ski munchies. Try the fajitas and margaritas.

Cool family run dive bar. Loved by all including Mr. Button himself.

Good food which is mostly a new take on Mexi-American fare with some bar favorites thrown in. Welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of beers.

Great tap selection and free chips and dip. The margaritas are delicious! A bit on the expensive side for me though. I love drinking a beer next to their cozy fireplace.

My boyfriend and I are regular guests of Hotel Minturn. We've stayed 4 times including a 10-day Christmas trip and have several more trips on the books — we just love this place so much! Minturn is an adorable little mining town and after several visits you begin to feel like a local. THE COMMUTE: The CME shuttle will take you directly to the hotel door; or we've rented a car too and the drive from the hotel to Vail Mountain is just 5 minutes (2 exits down). A bus system also operates between Minturn and Vail for a more affordable route. This hotel is in Minturn, not Vail proper, so yes, you'll need to plan on how you'll get your skis on the ground. But you're not paying vail prices so it's a tradeoff we're always willing to make. THE HOTEL: They have 4 different rooms of varying sizes and each are comfortable and include everything you need. We spent 10 days in the lower mountain room (basically in the basement) and found it cozy and quiet; we never got cabin fever. Each room has coffee essentials and kitchenette items, though we usually opt for breakfast at Sticky Fingers across the street (careful, there can be long lines! ) or dinner at the Saloon. Comfortable beds and linens and the cleaning staff are very kind! A previous guest indicated they had trouble getting into the hotel. It's true there is no front-desk reception, rather instructions are emailed ahead of time. We've never had an issue getting in and I would bet that was a fluke.

Nice room and decor. Cute little city. Difficult to get assistance and transportation to Vail Mountain.
