Review of Frisco Inn on Galena 3*

My wife and I recently spent our 5 year anniversary at this lovely Inn located in the small town of Frisco Colorado. I had spent much of my childhood in Frisco, and remember this building fondly. We read about it online, the reviews looked wonderful, and the staff and service did not disappoint. We were able to book the tower room with a four post bed and a lovely layout for an amazing experience in the mountains. Upon arriving at the hotel we were helped into our room with all of our luggage and the service was such that we were able to spend time putting our 5 month old baby down for a nap without skipping a beat. Upon entering the room, a cold bottle of complimentary champagne was waiting in a tub of ice, and the windows had been opened to allow for the fresh afternoon breeze to come into the room. We immediately felt at home and that continued throughout our stay. We loved both of the hot tubs, the sauna, and the incredibly charming relaxation room located in the spa. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese happy hour, and the concierge directed us towards a free concert in the park one block from the Inn. That evening we relaxed in the spas and solitude. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was above and beyond most that you would ever experience at a hotel. They had a full menu and you could order Belgian waffles or made-to-order omelettes along with Incredible coffee that was grinded and roasted on site. Bicycles were also included in our stay, and we attached the trailer that we had brought and road the incredible six-mile Lakefront Trail all the way to Dillon where we went to the Farmers Market. The entire experience at The Inn on Galena was surreal and unlike anything that we could have found at a hotel or any Airbnb in the area. Which is an important point I'd like to highlight because many of the airbnb's that we looked at prior to booking at the Galena were more expensive and without any of the added touches and personal service that really made our anniversary something to remember. We will be back! We could not more highly recommend a place for you to hang your hat. This is what hospitality is all about. Thank you again for helping make our anniversary so special.
